Pergamon Döner in Berlin

A street food stall with a few tables for eating outside (usually full). The guy who charged us was rude, although the guy who prepared our money and durum was very friendly. The kebabs were very good (especially the doner). I've read that there are much better kebabs in Berlin, but of the ones we tried, this was the best, so I would recommend it. As with all stalls of this type, you can choose the ingredients and sauces. The spiciness is noticeable, but it's very good; it's not too strong and feels good. The price of each kebab is around €7-€8 (you can order a big doner, but the "small" one is quite filling). Be careful with the drinks, as this is a street stall (€3.50 for a Coca-Cola). It cost us €14 for two kebabs and €7 for two drinks. Total €21. We would go back, but with sodas from the supermarket 😂

Super delicious kebab and friendly service! The meat was juicy and the sauce was just the right amount of spice. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. We'll be back and definitely recommend this place!

This restaurant, located under the S- and long-distance transport bridge at the Friedrichshain station, is a stingy ultimate that is second to none (1). They are also enemies of humanitarian solidarity (2) 1. A good friend and I entered the restaurant around 6:30 p.m. very hungry. We opted for the portion de fries as our wallet couldn't afford more. Nevertheless, we succumbed to our hunger and gave away our last few cents, 400 in number, times two, i.e. 800. For this amount we got two portions of fries. After an indefinite period of time in which we had an intimate conversation in the hustle and bustle of Friedrichstr. the salesman delighted us with our fries. Or rather, accidents. We were simply shocked. From a portion of fries on the menu, a handful of the mayo and ketchup packet was unlovingly wedged under the fries cardboard. Our hunger great, our sadness greater, we digested the fries physically and mentally. 1/5, you know. 2. On another day, recently in the past, my friend told me, a gentleman without a home entered the store. He introduced himself as deeply kind, and with the utmost humility, he asked the sellers for a loaf of bread without anything, since he had not eaten anything that day. The sellers replied "no." The gentleman tried again. "No, go next door." I think to myself: What a shame. 1/5, you know.

Big doner kebab is ok. Could be bigger

Excellent and delicious kebab. In reality I tried others that surpass it, but the flavor of the meat, the consistency of the bread and the spicy sauce stand out. I don't understand why in Spain we don't have this type of products. I recommend if you are passing by. €7 per doner.

A truly great kebab shop! Very friendly staff, very clean, and with delicious bread and fresh vegetables. Everything is super fresh and of good quality. I'm a little disappointed with the sauces – they could be a bit more intense for my taste, but that's subjective, of course. Otherwise, a great shop that you can visit even late in the evening after an event. Definitely a recommendation!

Street stall whose kebab was not bad but there are many better places in Berlin

The doner kebab is highly recommended. The meat is tasty and juicy, the salad is fresh, and the service is friendly. The white cheese, however, is grated and lacks flavor; you can really skip it. The squeeze of fresh lemon rounds it all off nicely. At €7.50, or €8.50 with the white cheese, the price is likely in line with the general upward trend, although with falling inflation, one might expect prices to fall again (although no one actually does that).

Honestly, the best Döner Kebab I have ever tried in my entire life, I have traveled enough to try kebabs from many parts of Europe, but without a doubt Germany has been the place with the best Kebab I have ever tried, the attention of the Bilingual salesperson has been excellent, with a dedication to his work that is more than notable and a product of unbeatable quality. The kebab was delicious. But the cashier wanted to commit fraud. The kebab cost 7.5 euros, I gave him two 5 euro notes. He gave me 2.5 euros back in change. After a while the cashier claimed that I had only given him a 5 euro note and that I had to pay the rest. After some discussion, the cashier acted like I was the scammer and not him.

On our way back from a rather boozy evening, we stopped at this wonderful establishment for a bite to eat, and we were surprised at first bite. A culinary journey for a ridiculously low price. Without a doubt, the best kebab of our lives. A masterpiece.

For €7.50 I would have expected more. The meat was only roasted for a few seconds and ended up directly in the kebab, the salad had questionable ingredients - nothing good for the stomach.

The sweet ones who work there are super nice and ask if you want something to drink, super nice. The food is very tasty, it's a shame that it's such a small shop, the meat wasn't as seasoned as expected but still very tasty and pleasant, unfortunately I'm not from Berlin but would come here again. Delicious kebab, bread is great in my opinion (I like it more soft than crispy), the rest is also delicious but certainly nothing that you can't get elsewhere in Berlin. Which isn't a bad thing in itself. Therefore, you can stop here with peace of mind if you are hungry for kebab.

This kebab is good! Packed with fresh veggies and quality meat. The sauces are well-balanced—I chose the herb and spicy options, which had hint of curry. The staff is friendly. Service is fast. While the price is slightly on the higher side, the quality generous portions, and overall experience make it worth it.

I'm never coming back. Super arrogant card payment employee saw a message and asked where I was from. I said from Ukraine. To which he replied “spasibo” (thank you in Russian). In view of the war I replied: “but no Russian please”. He then said that the Ukrainian language does not exist and no one speaks it. Then it was clear that it exists. Then he said he knew better. Very “solidaristic”. UPD: Since it was attempted twice to remove my review, which up to date 14 (January 19th 2025) people find useful, I am adding the the receipt from April 26, 2022, the day on which the event happened.

Major red flag when low-star reviews get removed en masse for an establishment. Google is happy to oblige since they do not have a good system to check validity hence a simple lawful appeal with a lawyers signature is enough. So dont let this high average score fool you, their kebab is "ok", below average for berlin standards. The meat is preprepared bought from a chain, hence the bland taste. So very curious how they charge above the kebab price standards. The worst of it are the literal RATS that are happily galopping near the shop. Huge turn off, avoid this place if you care about your health and if you are an opponent of shady business practices.

I think €3.50 for a beer is a bit overpriced…

Good doner, bit spicy, but the issue is that he sharpens knife and immediately cuts the doner, without wiping it. Metallic particles can get into the food that way.

Had to cut my trip short and return back to my home country because I was afraid of medical complications that could follow. Well, what can I say, it’s delicious, filling, but I ordered Dürum and the pita bread was not fried, how can you not fry the leaf, the drinks are expensive. Basically everything else is fine.

When visiting Berlin as a teenager, I often ate kebab elsewhere. Coming back here after a few years, I came across this place last year. We ate kebab, it was delicious, Yesterday we came back again and I was convinced again that it is worth coming back here. Fresh bread, delicious meat cut with a knife, which is a huge plus, and fresh salads I regret that we are already back home because I would visit this place more often

Doner kebab tastes below average. Unfriendliness and intrusiveness are the order of the day here. The customer is not listened to, you have to say everything three times. Been here several times because it's central and close to work. Yesterday was my last time, I'd rather not eat anything than be shouted at from across the street asking me whether I want a kebab or, if I consciously stand outside to think about what I'm going to have, to be called in three times. For the fact that the prices and taste are at best okay, it's not worth it to me.

Right at the BHF Friedrichstrasse exit there is a rather inconspicuous, small kebab shop but it is worth a visit. Super delicious kebab, but the fries were also really great😁 If you're hungry and don't necessarily want to spend €50 to fill yourself up, this is the place for you. Speaking of which, the operators are really in a good mood👍

Always good to have a high throughput and the ingredients were very fresh. There is no place for relaxed consumption of kebab and there can sometimes be Berlin directness in the address. Good location, not a special kebab in my opinion.

Charged me extra to pay by card without telling me - literally keyed a different number into the terminal compared to what they said - and then tried to convince me it was my bank’s fault (it’s definitely not). The kebab was nice but that left a sour taste in the mouth.

Ate a Döner with Feta. The kebab was a bit dry and not particularly strong. The meat is minced meat, so not a proper kebab. The food arrived quickly and the customer service was great. Good locations and fair price. The bread tasted ok. A decent kebab, but nothing special.

Halloumi doner is fine for €6.50, but alongside the smell of the kebab you constantly smell piss and chicken nuggets.

I am updating this review after one year and a half, Doner and Durum kebabs still taste good but no longer the same quality and as filling as it was! Considering how much the prices went up I didn't anticipate the quality to go down like this, but the shop owner is still funny and friendly.

Great Dürüm, we stayed two nights in Berlin and had Dürüm here twice. The spices they added were very tastt and had a light spicy kick in it which we've asked for. The personnel was also very friendly. Would certainly recommend!

Købte mad for 27 euro - betalte med en 50 euro og fik 3 retur???? - gjorde indsigelse over at blive snydt for 20 euro - han forstod ikke og mente han havde givet penge retur - først da køen af kunder begyndte at lytte med så rystede han op med en 20’er i byttepenge - scam så det ville noget - vi ikke har mødt mage til før i vores rejseliv - tænk dig om før du betaler med andet end lige penge på det sted - ærgerligt at skulle opleve dette på en rejse i Berlin - kunne være sket et hvilket som helst andet sted i verden - men f……. Ikke i Tyskland - krejlere, svindlere og tyveknægte - det er simpelt hen ikke i orden - stof til eftertanke - hvordan mon han lige vidste det var 20 euro han manglede at betale i byttepenge? - jo, netop fordi det var helt bevidst svindel.
