Perché NO Wohnen und genießen in Mannheim

The "Wieso Nicht?" (Why Not?), whose name is probably derived from the servant of the noble family of the Electorate of the Palatinate, is a pleasant restaurant that is very popular for meeting people and drinking wine. However, if you want to sit inside, you have to eat. The problem is, however, that even though the quality of the Italian dishes is good, the people are extremely small and therefore unfortunately only qualify as a snack and not a full meal. The prices, however, are still at the level of fine dining, which can be very irritating to customers. Therefore, it is better to simply meet outside and drink wine. However, you should eat somewhere else.

The ambiance and service were excellent, and the food was attractively presented. Unfortunately, the truffle pasta wasn't very tasty—it was surprisingly bland and had hardly any flavor, which was a shame, as it looked really promising.

Modern, elegant and very clean environment, excellent food, I was invited to a birthday and it was a truly lovely evening, the owners were very knowledgeable 💪

Ambience something thrown together, food very mediocre, bottle of wine ordered from the menu would be served by someone else without asking, I didn't accept it, the food and drink menus are completely used up, now in winter only warm air from an air conditioning system, I can say the positives Don't understand reviews, Italian bistro is something else.

We had the pasta with sage and parmesan and it could have been cheesier. It was presented somewhat carelessly on the plate. It was OK, but not sensational. In winter the room is too cold because when the door opens, cold air comes in. Not so comfortable. But what really bothers us is that card payment is not possible. This is no longer up to date and does not put an Italian restaurant in a good light.

Absolutely tasteless food and the owners of the restaurant are absolutely snooty and arrogant. Prices absolutely too expensive for the missing spices. The last time I walked past there was screaming, some kind of family argument. The store was an absolute disaster. I can't recommend it to anyone

Found this cute little restaurant by chance (short holiday trip). Skeptical at first because there were other people sitting at a very large table. However, a large vase with flowers was skillfully placed in the middle of the table. This atmosphere somehow makes you feel at home. The staff was very accommodating and had everything under control; great! Small but very good menus and freshly prepared. Finally, a very amusing conversation between two couples who sat at the same table and also received various great holiday travel tips. An unforgettable, warm evening in all respects and met great people; 🤩 awesome! THANKS

We have been guests at Perché No. since the beginning. Even if the service staff try very hard, there is an urgent need for optimization. Unfortunately, our reservations went wrong once again. Now we're really considering whether we should stay loyal to the Perche No.

We had dinner with our department at Perché No in Q5. The ambience stands out very much, you feel as if you were invited to a special event/party. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was outstanding. The food was exceptionally good. It was a poem from starter to dessert. You could taste that the food was cooked with love. Without exception, all colleagues were enthusiastic about this standard. The selection of red and white wine was great and perfectly complemented the delicious meal. Value for money is really great. It was an absolutely successful evening. We thought we were in Italy and would be spoiled with home cooking. Gladly again and again!

Whenever we are in Mannheim we stop by here....simply great...food great...staff great...great location...fair prices.

Everything was great...the food was delicious...the operators were very nice and attentive...good hosts...the prices were absolutely ok

The branzino fillet was to die for. The skin is fried until crispy and the fillet is very juicy. The vegetables and rosemary potato were also excellent. At the end there was of course Dolce. Panna cotta and espresso. I had a fruity rose in the glass. The service was great, friendly and quick. A top address to enjoy and feel good in Mannheim.

A must when shopping in Mannheim

Wir haben zufällig auf dem Weg zum Parkhaus entdeckt, dass es seit diesem Jahr ein Perché No due gibt. Schade um Deko Büchele, aber schön, dass hier so eine stylische Mischung aus Frühstücksplatz und Restaurant entstanden ist... Hübsche Einrichtung, freundlicher Service... Nach persönlichem Empfinden war es so gegen 11.00 zu spät fürs Frühstück und zu früh fürs Mittagessen. Also bestellten wir zu unserem Cappuccino mit Croissant noch ein Avocadobrot und ein Brot mit Mozzarella und Tomate. Während das Avocadobrot schmeckte, aber optisch noch verbessert werden könnte, hatte ich an meinem Mozzarellabrot nichts auszusetzen. Naja, ein paar frische Basilikumblättchen wären auch ganz nett... Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden und werden sicher auch mal Mittagessen und Weine testen...

Beautiful Mediterranean location with very friendly staff who respond to the guests' wishes and are attentive.

There really isn't much more to say about this. Everyone knows what an “IN” meeting place Perché NO is. Walter has a good hand. Great ambience with lots of loving details. And the food? Small selection but everything and really everything was excellent. Great wines, good espresso. I love it. See you 🔜 👍🌸

During dinner, a mouse climbed onto our table!!!!!! With all previous positive experiences and good food and good wine, definitely a place to avoid in the future. Even more scandalous is the waitress's comment that she knows there is a mouse in the bar and that they have alerted the service that will take care of it. At least she was kind enough to offer us another table.😁

We were there for the first time yesterday. Overall, the ambience is absolutely phenomenal and cozy! The service was very attentive and courteous and we didn't have to wait long for anything and the reservation worked really well :) The wines were great, but unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, my food was a bit cold even though it was right there and was a bit underseasoned. Unfortunately the same thing with the gnocchi, which were supposed to be 'stuffed' but were somehow just normal gnocchi as we know them? Nevertheless, I would like to give it 4* and not just 3, because overall the evening was very nice - we would like to come back for drinks or an antipasti platter :)!

After 45 minutes of waiting, we left again. It's a shame.

Bekommt meine Empfehlung. Immer wieder ein Genuss hier zu essen.Und schon wieder was gefuttert;). Probieren geht über Studieren.

Super süßes lokal, essen echt gut Leider ein Mango, Nudelgerichte meistens lauwarm bis kalt,man muss lange warten um zu bezahlen oder für was anderes zu bestellen .

Das Perché no ist so ein schöner und charmanter Ort, und das Essen wirklich sehr gut - ich komme sehr gerne und kann es jedem empfehlen! Einziger Kritikpunkt (oder Verbesserungsvorschlag an das Team) ist, wie auch schon von anderen beschrieben, dass es teils etwas hektisch und ungemütlich zugeht. Das ist mir nun leider schon mehrfach so gegangen, dass, obwohl das Restaurant um 21 Uhr schließt, schon ab 20:30 alles zusammengerückt wird, Kerzen ausgepustet werden, die Stühle werden um einen herum gestapelt etc - das passiert leider sowohl drinnen als auch draußen und ab 20:30 hat man das Gefühl dass man so schnell wie möglich gehen soll, was bei Öffnungszeiten bis 21 Uhr schade ist. Ich habe Verständnis, dass ab 21 Uhr um mich herum „ungemütlich“ wird, jedoch nicht 30min zuvor (während der Öffnungszeiten). Das ist etwas schade und wäre Punkt für Verbesserungspotenzial :-)

Vom Ambiente her kann ich dem Restaurant wegen seiner Gemütlichkeit und seinem Komfort nur Pluspunkte geben. Ich hab mich richtig wohlgefühlt. Der Service hat allerdings nicht dazu beigetragen. Zur Höflichkeit und Freundlichkeit der Bedienung hab ich gar nix einzuwenden, aber ein bisschen mehr Motivation bei der Arbeit gegenüber seiner Kunden zu zeigen, würde das ein wenig aufbessern. Das Essen war trotzdem sehr lecker und schön angerichtet, aber leider unvollständig und die Speisekarte nicht aktuell. Ich musste mir aushandeln und nachfragen was es denn heute so in der Küche gäbe, was sehr schade war und ich nicht das bekommen habe, was ich haben wollte. In allem aber ein gelungenes Mittagessen :)

Tolle Überraschung Mitten in Mannheim. Super freundliche Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen in einem besonders gemütlichen Lokal. Perfekte Kombination!!

Essen war lecker, doch für den Preis mMn zu teuer, in der Salbei Parmesan pasta war ein Blatt Salbei und die Portion war sehr klein. Die bestellte Vorspeise kam auf Nachfrage erst mitten im Hauptgang, war aber sehr gut. Das Ambiente ist außerordentlich gut! Das nächste Mal werden wir für die leckeren Getränke und kleine Snacks kommen, nicht für die Hauptgerichte

Ein toller Laden mitten in der Stadt. Keine fertig Ware sondern richtig frisch zubereitete Pasta und antipasti ! Leckerer Wein und im Winter auch leckerer Glühwein ! Immer wieder tolle Events und einen zuckersüßen Hund, welcher gerne gestreichelt wird.

Essen und Getränke sind top hatte ein sehr appetitliches Mittagsessen, kam auch sehr schnell an. Sehr lange nicht mehr so ein nettes und hilfreiches Personal gesehen, sehr liebe Mädchen, versüßten mir den Tag. Dazu war ich noch an Tisch 90, meine absolute Glückszahl wie auch bewiesen☺️ Werde auf jeden Fall öfters vorbei kommen mit der Familie 🤩

Essen und Getränke gut - Service schlecht. Wir waren zum dritten und letzten Mal hier. Entweder die Essensbestellung wird vergessen, man kann nicht bestellen, weil die Servicekräfte nicht schauen oder man muss ewig auf die Rechnung waren, die dann wie heute auch noch falsch ist.

Monnems Beschde! Sehr guter Italiener mit einer kleinen aber feinen Karte zu fairen Preisen. Die Qualität des Essens sucht seines gleichen und der Service ist ausgezeichnet.

Kann man auch zum mitnehmen kaufen. Ebenso das Brot. Tolle familiäre Atmosphäre mit super nettem Service und Italienischem Flair. Wunderschöne Plätze drinnen wie draußen mit blumiger und Italienischer Atmosphäre 🥰🥰🥰

Ich kenne die Familie des Unternehmens seit 30 Jahren. Was soll ich sagen? Sie sind in Mannheim das Licht im Dunkeln. Der Nordstern! So fleissige und hingebungsvolle Geschäfter findet man selten und sie sind mit Ihrer grenzenlosen Dienstleistungsorientierung von niemandem zu toppen. Ich lebe seit 25 Jahren im Ausland und Mannheim ist wahrlich nicht attraktiv. Wenn diese Stadt jemand attraktiv macht, dann ist es die Familie Calandi mit ihrem unaufhörlichen Engagement und Familienzusammenhalt. waren zu viert für ein bisschen „vino & chill“ haben für: 2 Flaschen Wein, 2 Bier, 2 Wasser, 2 Hauptspeisen, 2 Vorspeisen ( Antipasti für 2 ), & von den Snacks ( Aioli, Brot, Bruschetta & Oliven) insgesamt 116€ bezahlt. Für die Qualität unschlagbar. Deshalb verstehe ich nicht wieso hier manche Sagen es wäre zu teuer. 🤷‍♂️

Einfach ein nettes kleines Restaurant. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Nach einem Shoppingtag ein wunderbarer Ausklang mit leckeren italienischen Gerichten. Frisch gemachter Pasta, wie man sie mag. Und feiner Getränkeauswahl. Draußen kann man die vorbeischlendernden Menschen beobachten. Immer wieder gerne.

Zufällig entdeckt! Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren perfekt, sie haben gut satt gemacht. Das Personal war sehr höflich und freundlich. Ich konnte mit der Kellnerin auf deutsch und Italienisch sprechen. Zudem ist es ein Familienbetrieb, was das Ganze sehr authentisch macht. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und einladend - ein Genuss sowohl für die Augen als auch für den Bauch. Jetzt wissen, wo meine Freundin und ich gutes italienisches Essen finden können, wenn wir Heimweh nach Italien haben.

Das Perche NO ist mein Lieblings-Italiener. Ich liebe es dort zu sitzen, einen guten Wein zu trinken, etwas Gutes zu essen, es ist wie Urlaub in Italien für mich.

Ein absoluter Inn Laden in der Mannheimer Innenstadt. Sehen uns gesehen werden. Gute und leckere italienische Küche. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal.

Ob drinnen oder draussen, egal, es ist eine super tolle Location mit speziellem Ambiente und sehr gutem Essen. Die Leute sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wüde jederzeit wieder hingehen zum entspannen, gutes italienisches Essen geniessen oder einfach ein autentisches Bier trinken.

Nur Barzahlung also seid vorbereitet Qualität der Speisen frisch aber sehr kleine Portionen bei nicht so kleinen Preisen Je 1 Toilette für D und H unmittelbar nebeneinander ohne effektive Trennung von Geräuschen

When we arrived, our table was not ready maybe we arrived a little bit in advance , that is not the problem. The problem is that they were not at all nice, and They let us wait outside (fortunately it was not too cold) without asking us if we wanted something to drink, which would have shown professialism, but that is what they lack. They told us that the kitchen closed at 8.pm but even at 7.55pm it was not possible already to order something else. I don't recommend this place!
