Toller Brunch in wunderbarer Atmosphäre! Anlässlich einer Geburtstagsfeier durften wir als Gäste die Metzgerei in Mannheim-Lindenhof erleben – und waren rundum begeistert! Vom freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service über die erstklassige Küche bis hin zur gemütlichen, stilvollen Atmosphäre – hier stimmt einfach alles. Der Brunch war ausgezeichnet: eine vielfältige, kreative Auswahl, frische Zutaten und ansprechend angerichtete Speisen. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft und Qualität gearbeitet wird. Auch an den anderen Tischen sah man nur zufriedene Gesichter – ein Zeichen dafür, dass Genuss und Gastfreundschaft hier an erster Stelle stehen. Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Metzgerei uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Das Lokal, das normal meist sehr gut besucht ist (evtl. lag es an der Uhrzeit 15:00) war nur mit 3 Tischen besetzt. Trotzdem hat es die nicht gerade freundlich dreinblickende Dame geschafft, das Essen und die Getränke zu servieren. Aber das war es auch schon! Die sonst übliche Nachfrage, ob alles in Ordnung sei etc. ist ausgeblieben. Auf mehrfaches Winken und auch Rufen für ein zweites Getränk wurde nur sehr behäbig reagiert, die Informationen im Handy waren wohl wichtiger! Sehr schade für eine Lektion, die eigentlich durch ihren freundlichen Service in meiner Erinnerung haftete. Meine Freunde werde ich wohl da nicht mehr hinbekommen. Termin war der 18.3.

Ein echter Geheimtipp in Mannheim. Im Stadtteil Lindenhof unweit vom Rhein in einem alten Haus in der Häuserzeile. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet: Netter Service, wertige Speisen für jeden Geschmack und Kuchen/Torten vom Feinsten. Sollte man erlebt haben.

Одно из самых лучших заведений в Мангейме!!! Приятно удивлен. Заказали предварительно столик, и не зря. Великолепная кухня. Интересный интерьер. Все продуманно до мелочей. Не большое меню, но повторюсь все ОЧЕНЬ вкусно! Шницель, стейк, салаты да что говорить надо идти завтракать, обедать и ужинать снова!

Wir waren zum Brunch am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag dort. Leider hatten wir einen Tisch, wo wir ständig im Zug saßen, insbesondere, wenn in der Küche Fenster geöffnet wurden. Außerdem war unser Tisch für ein gemütliches Frühstück mit anschließendem Mittagessen viel zu klein und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte auch nicht.

This was our second time with our company "The butcher's shop" in Mannheim: It had to be a special place for our Christmas party. Everyone was extremely happy with the food, hospitality and atmosphere. The butcher shop is very cute and cozy. This year, on December 6th, 2024, Santa Claus even came by and, in addition to singing together, there was even a small present for each guest. Totally recommended and we will definitely be back!! A big thank you from the butcher team :-)

We received 4 portions of goose legs with side dishes. The delivery was super punctual, the food was excellent and there was also a bottle of excellent red wine for free. I can only recommend it

This is a small restaurant located in a former butcher’s shop. It provides all types of meals from breakfast through to dinner. Menu is small but with nice choices. Food is very well prepared, delicious and prices are moderate. Service is fast, efficient and very good. All in all a very pleasant experience and I recommend this place.

The cable one schnitzel testers were probably mistaken because of second place in Mannheim, the best schnitzel wasn't even made from veal and it was just a normal average, nothing special

Wir waren zu viert zum Mittagessen in der Metzgerei und haben uns dort sofort wohlgefühlt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem (reservierten) Tisch geführt. Das Lokal war gut gefüllt mit gemischtem und kommunikationsfreudigem Publikum. Eine Reservierung ist also zu empfehlen. Wir aßen Lasagne, Rindergulasch und Schnitzel - zu jeweils weniger als 20€. Besonders gut abgeschmeckt war der Beilagensalat. D.h. die Küche ist gut, und die Preise sind absolut fair. Dazu gab es eine sehr gute Weinempfehlung (St. Laurent aus der Pfalz)

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich einen Geburtstags Brunch mit vielen Freunden in der Metzgerei verbracht. Es war außergewöhnlich lecker, besonders die vegetarischen Etageren sowie die Suppe und die Hauptgerichte alles war sowas von lecker, jeder war glücklich, besonders auch mit dem netten aufmerksamen Service Es hatte einfach an nix gefehlt. Wir kommen alle sehr gerne wieder. Einen großen Dank an das Service und Küchen Team sowie an die Chefs die so eine Feier erst möglich macht

We went to this restaurant for lunch for the first time. Tables were close together and, since the restaurant was busy, there was a high level of noise. The rigatoni and ravioli served were of average quality - we expected more as the butcher shop is highly praised by many people; but tastes are different. We will no longer make reservations, the overall package is not for us.

Meeting point for social educators, regular Green voters and the upper middle class. Food is okay but the service, at least for us, could be improved. When the store gets full it is loud. Space conditions difficult 😂😂😂

In this restaurant we had an encounter of the third kind. We spontaneously wanted to make a stop at the butcher's shop during a walk. That was on the afternoon of a beautiful summer day in May. The inside of the café was empty due to poor air conditioning and there were only a few tables occupied outside. A table was reserved for 6:00 p.m. and since it was only 4:30 p.m. we just wanted to have a drink and a piece of cake. After speaking to a nice waitress at the counter, we got the OK. To our amazement, a brunette waitress came out to us, panting furiously, and shouted at us in a very unfriendly tone, which made us sit down. She also complained about our dogs for no understandable reason, even though neither the café nor the terrace was full and the dogs didn't bother anyone. We pointed out her unfriendly manner, but we tried to calmly explain the situation to her, but her aggressive reaction was: you are banned from the house. We are already aware of this waitress's unfriendliness through other guests, including restaurateurs, but this behavior was particularly unacceptable - completely inappropriate and disproportionate! This is particularly disappointing as we have often enjoyed visiting this restaurant in the past and have always felt comfortable. We appeal to examine this incident seriously and to deal with it constructively and objectively instead of giving petulant emotional answers. These are neither professional nor accommodating and do not meet the minimum expectations that one would have of a comparable restaurant that we have enjoyed visiting so far. One can look to Vino and Pizzateca as an exemplary example in this regard. Please refrain from stubborn answers like other negative recessions!!!

Super nice little shop, has a special flair. We always go here when we are in Mannheim. The breakfast is very tasty and the staff is very nice.

So overpriced for what you get. 5 euros for a coke. Watery goulash with overcooked noodles.

Small but nice. I haven't eaten boiled beef in a long time, but this was very tasty. The starters were also excellent.

The idea of ​​picnic baskets is great. Today we had the Kurpfälzer basket. Had a sparkling wine instead of wine...7 euro surcharge...must be a particularly fine alcohol. Now the potato salad was suspiciously close to the one I occasionally buy in the plastic bucket at the supermarket. It tastes okay, but has no unique selling point. The baguette was delicious. The Frika was ok. Yeah, what can I say. The butcher shop deserves a second chance with me because the atmosphere appealed to me and there are definitely other things there. If that convinces me, then there will be more stars.

Great restaurant and great concept for a picnic

Mit der Familie und Freunden habe ich in meinem Lieblingslokal meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Von der Vorbesprechung mit Herrn Weber bis zur Umsetzung (Sektempfang & Brunch) war alles wie gewünscht. Ein sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, leckeres Essen und alles in einem sehr ansprechenden Ambiente. Meine Gäste waren begeistert. Die ideale Lage, nur wenige Minuten zum Rheinufer, haben wir für einen herrlichen Spaziergang genutzt. Das Metzgerei Team hat entsprechend den zeitlichen Ablauf angepasst und das, im Brunch Arrangement enthaltene Mittagessen, unkompliziert etwas später serviert. Herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team, ihr seid klasse!

 The Butchery Well, it's been a while since my visit here. It was an invitation for my birthday. Google constantly asks me what it was like here, here is my perception. We had reserved a really small table for the "big" breakfast for two, right at the counter. As usual, the selection is limited. A young man took the salt and pepper shakers away from us for the next table, and by the way we were still eating. And please, that is my personal perception. There were various other reactions and answers in this establishment that, for me, shouldn't be like that in front of customers. What I think of it would probably fall into the Google exclusion criteria, that's why 🙄. Sometimes it's really strange what you experience. I ask that you view this as constructive and not personal. After all, you can always improve. Now the addendum to the reaction. Something was certainly said, but as the answer shows, the reaction and tone on site was and is the same as it is here in writing. You don't have to really let go of the leather, I think, why get personally insulting. But nice to see that I hit a nerve. Thanks for nothing.

Ich war auf dem Geburtstag von der Omi von meiner Freundin dort und hatte eine tolle Zeit. Die Metzgerei ist immer ein Muss wenn ich in Mannheim bin, super nettes Personal und leckeres Essen.

Ich war vor kurzem in Die Metzgerei in Mannheim, erst zum Frühstück mit meinen Freundinnen und weil es so gut war, ein paar Tage später mit meinem Freund zum Abendessen, und es war wirklich super. Es gibt verschiedene Frühstücksangebote, ich habe mich für den Mannheimer Wasserturm entschieden, da gab es ein richtig gutes Rührei mit Schnittlauch, frischem Schinken und Käse, Marmelade und Honig. Der Cappuccino dazu war lecker lecker - und wir Mädels haben es uns gut gehen lassen. Zum Abendessen gab es für meinen Freund ein leckeres Schweineschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und knackigem Salat. Ich hatte die vegane Bowle mit roter Beete, Avocado und Walnüssen, die auch sehr köstlich war. Zum Ausklang genossen wir die italienische Étagère mit Schinken, Salami, Tomaten, Mozzarella, Bergkäse und Oliven, dazu eine Flasche Merlot, auch ein Highlight. Es waren viele Mannheimer, aber auch internationale Gäste da. Die Atmosphäre war entspannt und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Alles in allem war es eine tolle Erfahrung und ich kann „Die Metzgerei“ auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Wir kommen bald wieder :-)

Wir feierten den 88. Geburtstag meiner Oma in DIE METZGEREI. und was soll ich sagen: wir hatten einen einzigartigen Abend. Es ist toll, das kleine charmante Bistro für exklusive Veranstaltungen buchen zu können. Im Vorhinein gibt es detaillierte Besprechungen zu Essen und Getränken. Auch Wünsche wie Sektempfang oder das Organisieren von Blumen werden ohne Weiteres erfüllt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und mit Liebe zum Detail vorbereitet. Ein Geburtstag mit so viel Freude und Herzlichkeit mit den beiden Gastgebern und ihrem Team werden wir lange in Erinnerung behalten.

We ordered the Kurpfälzer Picnic Basket "to go" from "Die Metzgerei" a day in advance, and everything went smoothly. When we arrived to pick it up, the staff was friendly and had everything ready. We didn't have to go far – just a few meters from the restaurant, and we were already at the Rhine's riverside promenade, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the meal. The basket was thoughtfully packed, and it even included a blanket, which made the experience even better. The mini meatballs were juicy, and the potato salad was delicious. The fresh baguettes with ham and cheese were perfect for snacking, and the fruit salad was so refreshing. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine, and we chose white. All in all, it was a fantastic way to spend the day. The convenience of the location and the quality of the food made it a memorable experience. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxed and enjoyable outdoor meal by the Rhine. Big thanks to "Die Metzgerei" for the great picnic setup!

Arbeiter waren unfreundlich, nur zu anderen (bestimmt weil wir asien sind), Essen war ungekocht, warte zeit war so lang. So ein Restaurant hab ich nie in mein Leben gesehen. Wenn du asiatisch bist oder nicht europish, dann gehe hier nicht.

Had a great brunch. I would have liked to try something from the normal menu or at least a piece of cake. But there was no more room in my stomach. Wasn't our last visit.

Man kann eigentlich nicht groß meckern über den Laden.... Am besten ist natürlich die Idee gewesen, das Ladengebäude umzuwidmen und das Picknickangebot am Rheinstrand :-) Das klingt doch charmant !? Man sitzt im Sommer auch ausgesprochen günstig im Schatten ab frühem Nachmittag, wenn die Sonne auf das Pflaster brettert. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Küche bietet eine gewisse Qualität und Abwechslung... Aber ist man mal etabliert, rollt die Nachfrage von selbst, was nicht immer zum besten beiträgt: Eingefleischt verzeihen eben fast alles und bezahlen auch die stolzen Preise.... Es hat schon was von Schicki-Micki und dazu passt auch, die Weine sind meist von den eh schon bekanntesten Weingütern, also so ne Art superior Markenangebot - name dropping, und du bist dabei...

This year the food wasn't good. A cordonbleu consisting of 2 burnt schnitzels placed on top of each other with something in between, a "lasagne" with a rock-hard base and burnt meat. That was nothing!

A friend invited me to the butcher shop for breakfast for her birthday. She had ordered an arrangement and everything was there. Jam, croissants, rolls, cold cuts, cheese, salmon, yogurt... It was delicious. And the atmosphere and the service are great.

This location and the food there is completely overrated. We (4 people) were there for the first time with a table reservation. Right at the entrance we were greeted by a very unfriendly waitress. We then had lunch somewhat contritely. The asparagus were all hard. In response to our complaint we received the following response: "Our chef makes the asparagus al dente." We were speechless at this bold answer. By the way, we come from an asparagus-growing region and have never been served anything like this before. This service then simply stopped coming to our table. We wanted to pay and had to point this out several times to other waitresses. No thanks, we're used to something better. The review could only be posted with 5 stars, which is also a disgrace. We only have one negative star...

The food was okay. We were there on Mother's Day and had to wait over an hour! Of course there is a lot of crowds, but that's not unforeseeable :) There are places outside in the blazing sun WITHOUT a parasol, no one can stand that for long, certainly not the food either ;) As always, communication is everything, one would have been remorseful about the waiting time , or even accommodating, everything would be okay. The service from the owner was friendly

We were 2 couples and had reserved a table the day before yesterday. A great atmosphere and our service staff was really warm and funny. Food very tasty and also plentiful. It wasn't too loud and we really like the decor. We'll definitely be back. I would like to give full marks here.

After all the positive reviews, we were disappointed with the breakfast. For the price we would have expected more, the roll was very simple or baked roll. Sausage, cheese and jam were of simple quality and overall there was little in quantity. The ladies in service were friendly, but they let us know that the table was still reserved and that we should leave as soon as possible.

Visit on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at noon at 11 a.m I made a reservation in advance via the HP, which was confirmed by phone on the same day and the employee asked me about the table near the toilet - whether this would be a problem - I gave my okay and that's it remained. Unfortunately, I misinterpreted the information regarding 'lunch' and unfortunately didn't know that on weekends breakfast generally lasts until 1 p.m. and the 'normal' kitchen only opens at 1 p.m. Since we went to the butcher shop with the idea that we wanted to eat normally / no breakfast, we were a bit surprised that we were told that breakfast was currently available until 1 p.m. - the normal kitchen only starts at 1 p.m. Due to this misunderstanding, we only had something to drink on site during our visit. > Currant spritzer 0.4l for 4.90 > Special 0.4l for €4.90 Summary: Employees were very friendly on site and on the phone at all times. Suggestion for improvement: I would explicitly note the note for the normal menu on weekends or public holidays on the half board, as from our point of view it was unfortunately not clear - breakfast only. Wish everyone a good time and stay healthy.

Have been to the butcher shop for a while now. Attentive, friendly service, super tasty food. The selection is already very good, something different, classic cuisine like at Nuts and other delicacies. Great wine selection. Top price-performance ratio. The only drawback, small location, you sit very close to each other and it was loud and warm. But it's not a drawback. Looking forward to next time!!!

A 100 faults Terrible experience. Terrible service, with the constant obsession of the waitress who wanted to know if we were paying in cash! On the other hand, they never asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee. Tasteless and HEAVY food called healphy. To that you add a crowded room (we don't understand why?) where it is impossible to communicate... in short an experience that we don't wish for you

I arranged to meet up with my friends for breakfast at Easter. It was just brilliant. The cake stands with cheese, ham, scrambled eggs and fried eggs are very beautiful to look at. It was so delicious, then an oven-fresh croissant, pressed juice, champagne, latte machiato, tea. Everything your heart desires. Perfect for Easter with beautiful Easter decorations. The service was very attentive, friendly and always a smile, despite the bistro being full. A big compliment to the kitchen and the great service team We'll definitely be back. I only give it 2 stars, but unfortunately Google doesn't post the review with a 2 or 3 star rating, but with a 5. A few days ago I went to the butcher shop for brunch with a large group of people. I wasn't satisfied at all. We had booked brunch at 11 a.m. I had to wait in front of the restaurant with my guests for a quarter of an hour because the tables weren't ready yet. The seating was too close together and a table with three people was placed next to us. The waitress had to pass everything through because she couldn't get to the table. In addition, the entire breakfast was served on the table and not arranged separately as previously discussed. You didn't know where to put your coffee cup and you had to constantly pass things on and through. The champagne was put on the table directly with breakfast and not, as previously agreed, offered whether it was even wanted. The soup was to be served immediately after breakfast had been cleared away. However, I was able to stop it. This was not how I had imagined my celebration, especially since many things had previously been described differently. I will definitely refrain from visiting the butcher shop again.

It was my first time in the butcher shop. I had lunch: mixed salad, breaded schnitzel with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, an apple juice spritzer and an espresso for €13.90. Overall it tasted good.

Three people went to the butcher shop for breakfast early on Sunday. The range of food and its quality were very good. The staff is particularly great. Extremely attentive, not pushy - professionals. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend the location without reservation.

A well-attended restaurant due to the lack of alternatives in the Lindenhof district. The hype coupled with the slightly arrogant attitude of the staff didn't really make sense to me. The food is good, the service staff is not professional and not particularly customer-oriented. We had reserved a table with several people, but it was still occupied at the time we ordered. The staff asked us to wait outside (in case of rain in winter 🤔). A little consolation in the form of a Prosecco or “sorry” might have made the waiting time more pleasant, but it wasn’t there. Things used to be different.

Zum gemütlichen Frühstück hatten wir einen Tisch für zwei Personen reserviert. Als wir ankamen bekamen wir einen 2er Minitisch, eingepfercht zwischen einer 4 er und einer 6er Gruppe. Privatsphäre gleich null. Wir baten um einen anderen Tisch und bekamen dann etwas genervt von der Servicekraft einen 2er Tisch am Gang zur Toilette mit dem Hinweis...dieser Tisch ist auch nicht viel besser, da alle daran vorbeischlüpfen müssen um auf die Toilette zu kommen. Die Garderobe des Nachbarn hing mir halb auf dem Schoß. Gemütlich sitzen ist anders! Hier stimmt ' unsere persönliche Meinung' das Raumkonzept ( möglichst viele Tische auf engem Raum) nicht für den Gast. Das Frühstück selbst qualitatv gut, jedoch nur mit kleinem Unterteller und alles sehr gequetscht, da sonst auf dem Minitisch kaum Platz war. Ein bestellter Kaffee wurde vergessen, auf der Rechnung stand eine Flasche Wasser zuviel, die dann im Nachgang reklamiert werden musste um das Geld zurück zu bekommen. Unser persönliches Fazit : Laut, eng, ungemütlich, Service naja und dies bei durchaus angepassten Preisen....von uns wird es keinen erneuten Besuch mehr geben. Zwei Sterne gibt es nur, weil das Essen gut war, ansonsten hätten wir nur einen Stern gegeben.

Waren am Heiligenden Abend zum Gänseschmalz mittags in der Metzgerei und können nur sagen: Top Empfehlung! Zwar unbedingt reservieren, aber Essen und Service hervorragend, auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt! Die servierte Gänsekeule, sous-vide gegart und danach im Ofen fertig gebraten, war butterweich und mit den Maronen, den Semmelknödel und dem Rotkohl ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus! Service war super und immer ansprechbar, tolle Weinempfehlung des “Sommeliers”, also alles in allem klare 5 Sterne! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! War ein genussvoller Einstieg in die Weihnachtstage!
