The food is okay, but nothing special. For example, I had a pizza with mozzarella that was as tough as chewing gum... And it didn't taste particularly remarkable either (Pizza Bianca).

Apparently, I actually reviewed this restaurant a year ago – I'd completely forgotten. So I'm delighted to be able to say exactly the same thing again after my recent visit: By far the best Italian restaurant in Kassel! This time, as before, we made a reservation, which I highly recommend given how busy it is. The restaurant is very popular, which speaks volumes. The food is truly outstanding. The pizzas, in particular, are exceptionally good and definitely among my top three in all of Kassel. The spaghetti carbonara was also delicious – a touch too salty last time, but still absolutely top-notch. Overall, the quality of the dishes is simply excellent. The staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional. I'd especially like to highlight their wonderful approach to dogs: You can easily bring your dog along. They ensure there's enough space between the tables so that neither people nor animals feel uncomfortable – a truly exemplary solution. ` ... ``` ``` ```` ````` The ambiance also contributes to a thoroughly enjoyable evening: well-maintained furnishings, clean and modern restrooms, and wheelchair accessibility – everything is provided. Parking, being in a city center location, can be a bit of a gamble, but it's perfectly normal. Everything here is just right: the atmosphere, the quality, and the service. It has exactly what you need for a typical, lovely Italian evening. I remain absolutely thrilled and will definitely be back!

I was in Kassel last weekend and had the opportunity to dine at Peppe's Ristorante. There were six of us, and the owner took excellent care of us. Even though it was packed, he frequently checked on us to make sure everything was alright. The presentation of the suggested dishes was very detailed, and once everyone had their food, we were all very satisfied. The pizza, pasta dishes, and meat dishes all exceeded our expectations, not to mention the beautifully arranged antipasti. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and if you're looking for a good meal in Kassel, Peppe's is the place to go. Stylish ambiance, top-notch service, and excellent food. We ate here for the first time yesterday. Everything was excellent! You can tell that the food is cooked with love and passion. The ambiance is modern, very stylish, and very cozy. I had the best and most delicious saltimbocca ever! My husband had the carbonara and ordered a different pasta dish, which wasn't a problem at all. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The desserts were absolutely delicious. We will definitely eat here again because we saw some pizzas and we absolutely have to try them. The value for money is absolutely top-notch for this fantastic quality ❤️ We were served by Miriam. A huge compliment for her friendliness; she kept asking if we needed anything else. The price-performance ratio, and especially the size of the desserts, is not right. Instead of classic pizza variations, the pizzas here are artificially extravagant and have an excessively diverse array of toppings, although the dough and the ingredients themselves are outstanding. Only the bruschetta bread needs improvement. Another major drawback, however, is the absurd price for water. In that respect, the restaurant didn't quite live up to my expectations, but it wasn't a complete disappointment either.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Pizza Genova. The staff was also friendly. The only downside is that the restaurant can get very noisy. Therefore, it's not recommended for sensitive ears.

I went to Peppe's for the first time with colleagues. The reservation process was very considerate, as they inquired about any potential issues. It turned out that there was only one high table available that evening. So, they were very accommodating and gave us advance notice – thank you! The food was very good. I had the Pizza Genova with potatoes on top. I hadn't had that before and was very happy to try it. It was definitely worth trying :) Besides the regular menu, there were too many specials available that day. While they were presented well, there were so many that I couldn't possibly remember them all. The service was otherwise quite good. Unfortunately, it gets very loud when the restaurant is full, making conversation difficult. That's a shame, but the food is good, and if you can go when it's less busy, the overall experience is sure to be even better.

Four of us were there today. Everything was really delicious and beautifully presented. Attentive and friendly staff. The prices are moderate. The only reason we lose a star for the ambiance is that the table near the entrance is terribly drafty, and you should wrap up warmly. It makes it uncomfortable. A thick curtain could certainly remedy this. A big thank you to the staff and the kitchen.

I ordered a pizza that was excellent both visually and tastefully. I also tried the paccheri with salsiccia, which were very tasty, as was the tiramisu. The service was very friendly and attentive. The prices were average, except for the tiramisu, which was a bit overpriced (€7.00).

A truly great Italian restaurant! The two of us spent an incredibly lovely evening here, quite spontaneously! We went on a Wednesday evening without a reservation – everything was booked! But the friendly service accommodated us at a slightly longer table. The pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious! And even though the place was packed, we didn't have to wait long for service, drinks, or the food! Everything was perfect! Everything was fresh, everything was full of flavor – all excellent! An all-around delicious dinner! There were two of us, and we both had pizza. My order was originally an oversight, but it turned out to be a tasty surprise that I would choose again anytime – fresh, perfectly seasoned, and visually appealingly served. It was accompanied by an excellent Montepulciano, which rounded off the meal perfectly. The only downside: I had the impression that I was treated a bit more distantly due to my rather sporty casual look. I found that a shame, as service quality should be consistently high regardless of one's outfit. Nevertheless, a clear culinary recommendation.

We spontaneously reserved a table today – just an hour in advance. You might think that not many people go out to eat on Mondays, but at Peppes Ristorante, almost every table was taken, so calling ahead was a good decision. The service was really great, very attentive, and friendly! We were served by different people, and everyone was great! Since it was our first time there, we naturally had to order two starters and two main courses. Of course, we couldn't finish our main course – without us even having to mention it or ask, the staff approached us and asked if it could be wrapped up. Despite being so full, we had to share a tiramisu. As we all know, sweet tooth is always good :-) and it was an absolute dream! We'd love to come back. Thank you for the lovely evening!

We spontaneously decided to try Peppes Pizza. At first, we were ignored for a few minutes. The place was packed – several employees walked past us as if we were invisible. The subsequent interaction with a gentleman (possibly the boss?) was the lowest of the low. We were turned away in a rude, rude, and disrespectful manner. Other guests had also observed our behavior and asked us at the door, "What was that?" Of course, I understand that you might not get a table without a reservation. But I at least want to be treated with respect. Phrases like "No, dude, you can see it's full" don't exactly imply hospitality. Hence, a "well-deserved" 1 star.

We got a table at short notice on Whit Monday and were once again very satisfied! The welcome and service were very friendly and accommodating, and the food and drinks were, as always, excellent. We'll be happy to come back!

We had a seat in the conservatory, right next to a parked car. The acoustics in the conservatory are terrible, and in the rain, you can't even hold a conversation. The service was exceptionally nice, friendly, and accommodating! The saltimbocca wasn't worth the money. The ham was completely tasteless. The veal with Gorgonzola sauce, however, was a hit, incredibly delicious. The side salad was a joke and completely lacking in sauce, but we're not rabbits. All in all, two drinks and two meals for €62 are not worth it. A shame.

Simply SPECTACULAR. Authentic flavors, raw materials that speak Italian, dishes that make you close your eyes and think "here I am at home". Every bite is a sensory journey. And then there's HIM, the owner. A host with a capital T! A welcome, a friendliness and a passion that warm your heart. It makes you feel like a friend, a guest of honor, not just a customer. We started with a bruschetta, which, topped with fresh, marinated tomatoes, was an absolute delight. For my main course, I chose the Pizza Roma – the dough, prepared according to a traditional Neapolitan recipe and baked in a pizza oven at 450 degrees, was fluffy, light, and perfectly crispy. The ingredients, from the tomato sauce to the salami, were of the highest quality and tasted incredibly fresh. My companion opted for the Spaghettone alla Carbonara, which he described as "the best I've ever eaten" – creamy, authentic, and with just the right amount of pecorino. Unfortunately, our experience at Peppe wasn't that great and we definitely don't recommend it. The food wasn't of good quality, was way too seasoned and there was a huge dead fly in the dessert that you couldn't have overlooked! Sorry, but that's not possible... The ambience was quite nice, but unfortunately far too loud and too narrow. But you have to say the service was nice and courteous. Conclusion: It was definitely our last visit!

Unfortunately I can't agree with the good reviews. Based on a recommendation, I invited my friends to eat at this pizzeria. The ambience is very chic, there is a strong smell due to the open kitchen, salad and pasta portions are too small for a main course.

Have been to the restaurant twice now - had a great evening each time. The food and especially the service are a 10/10. We would be happy to come back in the future and look forward to our next visit.

The parking situation is rather difficult but that's how it is in the city center. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. The menu is manageable. The waiter was polite and very attentive. The food was delicious and there was nothing to complain about. I would come here again. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Everything was right here. Quality has its price, but every cent is well spent here. For us it couldn't get any better, the land of milk and honey is just a dream, and here you can get a little closer to it. Good feeling for details too. Almost too friendly 😉
