Nice atmosphere right on the Weser. Take some of it with you The calibration mark is not so accurate. Staff very nice. The whole thing applies to the beer garden. The three of us ate once in the restaurant. That was enough. All of the food was poor in quality and preparation. Been there again. Completely different. Pumpkin soup was incredibly tasty, chicken was very good and the fries were to die for. So apparently there is another way.

We were here on Saturday lunchtime and received a very warm welcome. The dog was also proactively given water. The menu is hearty but with vegetarian and vegan options, which is great. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Quite uninspired and priced too expensive for what you got. The sausage salad was swimming in oil and was quite tasteless. The fries were still partly raw inside. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars even though the service was really very nice.

It started raining suddenly, so we took shelter in this establishment. A very pleasant place, being in Bremen, will find yourself in Munich. We decided not to invent anything and ordered leberkeze schnitzel and apple strudel. Everything was done quickly and qualitatively. The only bad thing is that the machine broke and it was not possible to make a cocoa drink. The time that was supposed to wait for the weather passed imperceptibly. Both tourists and locals come to the institution, which are noticeably different. They have their favorite places in the center, they immediately order a dish without looking at the menu. The classics of Bavarian cuisine are at their best, if you want a delicious schnitzel, come here.

I ordered a knuckle with sauerkraut and dumplings. Unfortunately the knuckle wasn't crispy this time, although I know from a previous visit that they're actually very good at that - that was a bit disappointing. In addition, the toilets were unfortunately quite dirty that evening had a negative impact on the overall impression. I hope that this was just an exception, because I generally like the restaurant and have been satisfied so far.

Great place with German, mostly Bavarian food. Schnitzel and pork knuckle were amazing. Fresh beer from the tap. Friendly and welcoming staff. When it is warm, it is quite nice to be on a terrace.

We were here for dinner and got here early so that wasn't a problem. We were greeted friendly. The staff is very friendly and points out offers. The atmosphere is rustic, as you would expect in a Bavarian-style tavern. The food was obviously freshly prepared (fried potatoes and chicken cordon bleu and sausage salad). Only some of the side vegetables seemed to come from a can. All in all, we were very satisfied and can recommend Paulaner's.

The food was super tasty, quickly prepared and simply delicious. The service was great. We came with a small child and pens were immediately put there and a card for the children to color out. The entire staff was super friendly, kept an eye on everything and got there quickly. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Zoals de naam Paulaner al doet vermoeden, is dit een restaurant in Zuidduitse stijl, compleet met klederdracht, biersoorten en menukeuze. Paulaner is namelijk een bier uit München. De sfeer is Zuidduits gezellig en gemoedelijk. Het eten is prima (schnitzel) en het bier... uiteraard!

The pumpkin soup was delicious. The beer too, but it could have been a little colder for my taste. The atmosphere was very cozy, although a bit cramped. Priced at a high level.

This place was perfect and accommodating for a group of 5 of us. They promptly responded for a reservation via email - for some reason it was only showing 4 pm and 8pm but we wanted something in between and were able to get a table. Changes were responded to quickly with no hassle. The waitress was attentive, servers promptly bringing out our food and nicely presented. We ordered a variety of different dishes..I was pleased with my beef tartare accompanied with salad and bread. Quite extensive choice on their menu including some vegan options, which is impressive! Nice location too near the water. It was recommended by a handful of people and glad we tried it. A lively atmosphere with drinks available, and the reservation allowed 3.5 hours.. more than we needed nice to not feel rushed. Would recommend!

Very pleasant atmosphere and extremely friendly and warm service staff. The Paulaner is perfectly tapped and is a real treat, not just on a sunny day on the Weser!

Good food, good price, nice vibe, the best German restaurant in town! The waitresses are so gentle and kind. One of the best German food we got.

I got lost in the restaurant because I was looking for our cafeteria regulars' table and the waitress told me that a group was coming here, unfortunately it was the wrong group🤪 because our regulars' table was in the neighboring restaurant. But the waiter Elsan was so funny and personable that we simply founded a second cafeteria regulars' table in the Paulaner. Always my pleasure.

The service from some waiters was arrogant and condescending. My girlfriend and I had to wait forever and when we finally got served the staff was extremely rude. No greeting, no smile - instead we were fobbed off with annoyed looks and stroppy answers. It's a shame... we came in a good mood, but left deeply disappointed. The lottery is the only positive thing here - everything else is a huge disappointment. Absolutely not recommended!

We booked to eat on a Sunday. We ordered two plates of pork schnitzel with accompaniments, a plate of sausages and another of round meat. We liked everything very much. The portions are quite good in size. Recommended to try typical food.

Good beer garden, good interior, good menu, and friendly service. Update March 2025: Two of us went for lunch. The Munich pub knuckle was dry and tough, and the crispy pork knuckle as described on the menu was nowhere to be found. The side dishes were okay. For €24, you'd definitely expect better quality; this was yesterday's meal and not freshly prepared! The second meal from the daily special was enjoyable, but that was it. It's a shame: raising prices and lowering quality = bad pub policy; it makes you think twice about your next visit!

On cherchait avant de quitter Brême un souper très local et nous n’avons pas été déçus. Endroit très convivial dans un cadre typique avec une bonne cuisine locale. Trop tôt dans la saison pour profiter de leur belle terrasse. Un remerciement particulier à notre serveuse hollandaise très sympa qui parlait bien français, c’était très appréciable.

The service was great! The servers were friendly and often asked if everything was okay. Our food arrived super quickly, too. We ordered Leberkäse (meatloaf), the vegan schnitzel, hash browns, and fries. Everything was really delicious. For dessert, we had the "Black Forest Cherry Cake," which unfortunately wasn't quite as impressive. We'd love to come back! :)

Conclusion: A great place to enjoy good food, friendly service and a beautiful location on the Schlachte. I'll definitely be back!

Had a good meal there today with four friends

We actually always like it. We were there yesterday. Were sitting outside in the barrel. Unfortunately the heating didn't get very warm. We all froze while eating. The food, as always, delicious. I didn't like the fact that I had to order the potatoes extra with my fish for 3.20!! Service top as always!

Simple, des plats typiques,copieux et de la bière. C'est ce qu'on recherche dans cet établissement. J'y vais à chaque déplacement à Brême. Le service est toujours rapide et avec le sourire. Que se soit en terrasse ou a l'intérieur c'est une étape sympathique.

Este lugar es simplemente maravilloso. La comida tradicional alemana y todo estaba realmente delicioso. Tuve schnitzel Wiener con ensalada de patatas, que era excelente. De postre comimos mousse de chocolate y strudel de manzana. Los sabores eran increíbles. Las mejores notas para los chefs aquí El personal era muy amable. Una mención especial a Atila que nos cuidó toda la noche y recomendó algunos platos estupendos. Es genial. Volveremos otra vez.

This place is simply wonderful. Traditional German food and everything was really delicious. I had Wiener schnitzel with potato salat which was excellent. For dessert we had chocolate mousse and apple strudel. The flavours were amazing. Top marks to the chefs here The staff were all really friendly. A special mention to Attila who looked after us all night and recommended some great dishes. He is great. We will come again.

Had to get some typical German food as soon as I could and was recommended here. Great place and we were lucky to get a table without a reservation. Schnitzel was lovely as was the beef roulade. Apple strudel to finish! Go here if you can......oh and the beer was good too.

Lights in the city (installations) and then to "Paulaner" at the battle for food. Very attentive service. Drinks came quickly. The knuckle and schnitzel were quickly ordered. That didn't last long either. Unfortunately, the knuckle was cold and had no crispy skin. The schnitzel “Viennese style” was also rather boring. The salad It was good, but quite manageable. Prices were not excessive. All in all, the cuisine was not convincing, but the service tried to compensate for this and was very friendly. Still we wouldn't come back

Moinsen If you like a lot of people, in the summer there is a lot of walking and exercise in the evenings, there is a cat walk outside. Kitchen could use more creativity... Still good! 2-3 chefs would really improve the kitchen.

Good value for money, tasty and generous portions of food, friendly and helpful staff

No recommendation! Our visit was a complete disappointment. At the end the waiter asked if we would like a nightcap, as if it was on the house. It was later charged in full. When paying, an EC card machine was used that does not issue a receipt. We weren't asked if we wanted a receipt and the amount immediately struck me as suspiciously high. When I asked, the waiter brought the receipt - first in a roundabout way and not directly to me. When I finally saw it, it was clear: the amount debited was around €20 higher than the actual invoice amount! Supposedly an “oversight”. But we observed that the exact same thing happened at other tables. It's clear to me: There's a conscious attempt here to rip off guests. Absolutely dubious – I can only advise against going there!

Nice restaurant, please make a reservation if there are more people, otherwise very nice service and good food.

Described as a landmark in Bremen, the restaurant and cafe can indeed be called a cozy STUBE. In addition, the menu adds to the warm atmosphere. A good schnitzel with fried potatoes and vegetables is a delicious starter. The Paulaner beers complete the experience so you can leave satisfied with a smile and a full stomach.

We had a lovely experience at this restaurant! The menu offers plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, and the vegan schnitzel was absolutely fantastic—highly recommended. Prices were fair, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was not only attentive but also had a great sense of humor, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, which was a bonus. The location near the river is charming, especially in summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the view. In winter, they offer a unique experience with heated beer barrels for dining, which sounds like a lot of fun. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant that deserves its name. Very nice service staff. The cuisine is Bavarian in style. The prices are fair. It was a spontaneous visit and we would really like to come back on our next trip to Bremen!

My second visit to the Paulaner was also good. The food, this time from the special menu, was very tasty. The drinks were also good. Even in a larger group, all the food came at the same time.

Leuk restaurant maar ondanks dat ik netjes gereserveerd had kregen we de slechtste tafel. Het zat vol, dus ruilen onmogelijk. Eten oke, maar bier smaakte naar afwasmiddel. Je kon pinnen en de opdringerige serveerster gaf aan dat je bij het pinnen fooi kon meepinnen. Om netjes over te komen deed ik dat maar ze had het niet verdiend. Prijzen aan de hoge kant en er liep 1 vrouw in dirndl. Locatie top maar niet per se voor herhaling vatbaar.

Stopped by here when visiting the Christmas market. We were attracted by the menu with seasonal products such as wild boar and duck. It starts a bit strangely... you cannot make a reservation with a group of smaller than 4... Finally got a table. Positive: very nice service, nice atmosphere and good beer. Unfortunately...quite negative: the food. I have never eaten such dry wild boar,!! Which is understandable when you cut the fillet into such small pieces. The walnut crust was only nominally related to walnut. Such a shame!!!! My husband had schnitzel...little better...accompanied potatoes almost cold. Maybe the food was a negative highlight, but we were disappointed....

Gezellige Duitse eetgelegenheid met uitgebreide kaart vol specialiteiten en klassiekers. Nette prijzen voor mooi opgemaakte gerechten en bijlagen. Bediening erg vriendelijk en snel.

Yesterday we were there for the first time with our dog, we had reserved and they gave us a very good place where our four-legged friend felt very comfortable and even got a treat on the house. We'll definitely be back soon, especially because of the good food.

Unfortunately it was so loud inside that conversation was hardly possible. But the food and service were very good.
