Moinsen If you like a lot of people, in the summer there is a lot of walking and exercise in the evenings, there is a cat walk outside. Kitchen could use more creativity... Still good! 2-3 chefs would really improve the kitchen.

Good value for money, tasty and generous portions of food, friendly and helpful staff

No recommendation! Our visit was a complete disappointment. At the end the waiter asked if we would like a nightcap, as if it was on the house. It was later charged in full. When paying, an EC card machine was used that does not issue a receipt. We weren't asked if we wanted a receipt and the amount immediately struck me as suspiciously high. When I asked, the waiter brought the receipt - first in a roundabout way and not directly to me. When I finally saw it, it was clear: the amount debited was around €20 higher than the actual invoice amount! Supposedly an “oversight”. But we observed that the exact same thing happened at other tables. It's clear to me: There's a conscious attempt here to rip off guests. Absolutely dubious – I can only advise against going there!

Nice restaurant, please make a reservation if there are more people, otherwise very nice service and good food.

I come here every year with a group of friends. Good and friendly place for a typical German dinner.

Delicious schitzel in a German atmosphere.

Described as a landmark in Bremen, the restaurant and cafe can indeed be called a cozy STUBE. In addition, the menu adds to the warm atmosphere. A good schnitzel with fried potatoes and vegetables is a delicious starter. The Paulaner beers complete the experience so you can leave satisfied with a smile and a full stomach.

We had a lovely experience at this restaurant! The menu offers plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, and the vegan schnitzel was absolutely fantastic—highly recommended. Prices were fair, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was not only attentive but also had a great sense of humor, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, which was a bonus. The location near the river is charming, especially in summer when you can sit outside and enjoy the view. In winter, they offer a unique experience with heated beer barrels for dining, which sounds like a lot of fun. We’ll definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant that deserves its name. Very nice service staff. The cuisine is Bavarian in style. The prices are fair. It was a spontaneous visit and we would really like to come back on our next trip to Bremen!

My second visit to the Paulaner was also good. The food, this time from the special menu, was very tasty. The drinks were also good. Even in a larger group, all the food came at the same time.

Leuk restaurant maar ondanks dat ik netjes gereserveerd had kregen we de slechtste tafel. Het zat vol, dus ruilen onmogelijk. Eten oke, maar bier smaakte naar afwasmiddel. Je kon pinnen en de opdringerige serveerster gaf aan dat je bij het pinnen fooi kon meepinnen. Om netjes over te komen deed ik dat maar ze had het niet verdiend. Prijzen aan de hoge kant en er liep 1 vrouw in dirndl. Locatie top maar niet per se voor herhaling vatbaar.

Got a table for 1.5 hours at very short notice. With the fast service, it was good enough.

Stopped by here when visiting the Christmas market. We were attracted by the menu with seasonal products such as wild boar and duck. It starts a bit strangely... you cannot make a reservation with a group of smaller than 4... Finally got a table. Positive: very nice service, nice atmosphere and good beer. Unfortunately...quite negative: the food. I have never eaten such dry wild boar,!! Which is understandable when you cut the fillet into such small pieces. The walnut crust was only nominally related to walnut. Such a shame!!!! My husband had schnitzel...little better...accompanied potatoes almost cold. Maybe the food was a negative highlight, but we were disappointed....

Gezellige Duitse eetgelegenheid met uitgebreide kaart vol specialiteiten en klassiekers. Nette prijzen voor mooi opgemaakte gerechten en bijlagen. Bediening erg vriendelijk en snel.

Yesterday we were there for the first time with our dog, we had reserved and they gave us a very good place where our four-legged friend felt very comfortable and even got a treat on the house. We'll definitely be back soon, especially because of the good food.

Unfortunately it was so loud inside that conversation was hardly possible. But the food and service were very good.

TOURISTS BEWARE I ordered the full pork knuckle and they gave me a half, an obvious half. I pointed out to the waitress that I ordered a full, and she said that it was a full and that I was mistaken. I told her to return to the kitchen and ask the cooks to give me a full knuckle, and that it wasn't the first time I had eaten there. After more 20 minutes of waiting she reluctantly brought me a full knuckle and it was almost twice the size of what they had originally brought me. The waitress was not new, they were just trying to screw over a tourist. I didn't even get an apology.

If you love beer, definitely go.

¡La cerveza es increíble! ¡Nos encanta en Canadá, pero nos encanta aún más en Alemania! La camarera era muy atento y trajo nuestra comida bastante rápido. Hablaba inglés, lo que nos ayudó. El menú era genial con opciones veganas para mí y opciones no veganas para mi pareja! Volveré a visitar, cuando tenga la encantadora oportunidad de visitar la hermosa Bremen de nuevo : )

Franzi's Bratenpfanderl has always been delicious, but it should be served hot rather than lukewarm. Otherwise it's a shame for the good ingredients. Unfortunately, the only hot thing was the dumplings.

After a visit to the stadium, we came to the restaurant around 9 p.m. with 15 people to eat and drink. The service staff could tell that they had had a busy day (it was a free market) and yet we were treated very friendly and polite and served promptly.

Ordered food, specified my deathly allergies and ended up getting food with the specific thing I’m allergic to. Waiter was laughing and thought it was a joke, racist slander was made. Highly inappropriate. Be careful because management doesn’t car.

We have been enjoying going to Paulaners an der Schlachte for almost 10 years. Food is always consistently high, service is well trained and very reliable even when it is busy. Prices are absolutely appropriate for the service.

The schnitzel could be bigger, but it was perfectly cooked. The staff could be more cordial. I understand that dealing with some drunk customers is not easy, but not everyone is going there with the same intentions.

I was here with some colleagues. Ordering was complicated and the waitresses were not very friendly. Paying the bill was an unprecedented complication. Even speaking English. Rude and nervous staff.

Rustically furnished Bavarian restaurant. We were kindly assigned a table. The waitress quickly took our order. Waiting time for drinks was less than 5 minutes. Food came after 15 minutes. The pork knuckle on offer was very well prepared. However, the skin might be a little crispy.

I can only praise the service. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. The food is typical Paulaner. The prices are reasonable and not too high.

What we personally disliked when making the reservation is that you can only book a time slot of two hours. So you feel a little under pressure. The service was a little slow but friendly. The food was delicious, although I found the composition of the side vegetables a bit strange. I also found it cheeky that there are no regular side dishes with the actual dish and you have to order everything for a fee. I liked the children's card, which also serves as a coloring sheet, and there were also pens.

I have a knuckle with sauerkraut and dumplings, unfortunately the knuckle wasn't crispy. I know the comparison because I've eaten a knuckle there before. Unfortunately, the toilets were also very protective that evening.

Beer was good. Pork knuckle could be more tender inside and more crispy outside. Did not meat expectations but It was good fun and nice place.

Found it by chance on a Saturday evening and thought it was good. Paulaner Spezi 0.5 L was a must. Top 👍. Nice hospitality and it tasted like Bavaria. Once again, potato salad without mayo, just “Schmaggofatz”. The knuckle, roast roulades and especially the beer 🍺 sauce are a dream

Beautiful, original restaurant with Bavarian-style home cooking. Good beer paired with traditional cuisine in an attractive ambience. Reservation was not necessary for two people per week. Everything great. Keep it up.

Great traditional food, we had the chicken schnitzel and mushroom sauce with salad. It was super yummy and our server was very friendly!

The two of us got free seats on a Friday evening at a table where a single person was sitting. Perfectly fine for us - we hadn't made a reservation and were therefore happy that they were able to offer us two more chairs. The atmosphere is quite loud, narrow and very busy. You have to be able to tolerate loud screams from people who have “one too many beers”. But everything was cultivated. Schnitzel and salad were perfectly fine, only the fried potatoes were special for me. The amount of potatoes to onions felt like 1 to 1 and unfortunately the potatoes weren't really crispy either. I would generally come here again, but reserve a table first.

Absurd prices The knuckle, mind you without any side dish, now costs 21.00 euros. As a side dish (3.90) there aren't even dumplings, as it should be. Prices are slowly going towards Switzerland, but people there earn three times as much. A bottomless impudence, but there are always ignorant people who support it.
