Never again. The food wasn't good it was bad!

War heute im Paulaner Langenhagen, leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Essen hingeklatscht und später wurde nicht mehr nachgefragt ob man noch was zu trinken möchte,2 kleine Schnitzel auf dunklen Bratkartoffeln,ist kein Geschmackserlebnis. Und die Inhaber sind Türken die sich auch nur auf türkisch unterhalten haben.Hat leider nichts mehr mit bayrischen Flair zu tun!!! Der Laden dürfte eigentlich nicht mehr Paulaner heißen!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to the Paulaner Gasthaus. Service was extremely slow, and it seemed like the staff had difficulty speaking or understanding German, which just shouldn't happen in a Bavarian inn. Also, the portions were surprisingly small for the high price you pay for them. Overall, the price-performance ratio was absolutely inadequate. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this inn.

The waitress ignored us and was rude. We had made a reservation and confirmation, but no table was reserved for us.

Food was quite dry. I expect the chicken to be more juicy. The staff has changed a lot recently, it looks like they are looking for the best staff. The place itself is very nice. 4/5 because I see the potential, I am waiting and recommending.

This was the driest chicken I have ever eaten. The mayo tasted strange. The coleslaw comes out of the bucket. Radler was served with water instead of Sprite. 🙈 I'm very glad that I wasn't asked if everything was okay.

Large inn with an outdoor terrace facing the street and a large beer garden in the inner courtyard. You can almost always get a spot there. The food is mediocre but not overpriced. The service does its job, but shows only moderate commitment.

We were the first and I think the last time to eat there. The food was ok, but we had to wait a really long time. Let's get to the service... I actually wish I didn't give it one star. We sat for a long time until someone came and served us even though we made a reservation and they knew we were there because they showed us to the seat. In addition, if you wanted to order something, you first had to go in and say that you would like to order something. To then realize that there were 5 EMPLOYEES standing at the counter chatting... Aside from us (5 people), a table for two was occupied! Our plates were half cleared when we went in to order a drink and when the drinks were there we were ignored. The plates were still there until we left. Really now? A serving was dropped in front of the entrance, employees looked but didn't pick it up until we pointed out to them that something had been lying there on the floor RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR IN THE DOOR THRESHOLD for a long time. I have to say, I've never had anything like that before. As a boss, you might have to sit down with the employees...

I don't usually do recessions, but this has really been bothering me for a while now. In summary: A lot, but not good. Schnitzel from the hairdresser. So dry that I can't even tell if it was a veal. Not appropriate for the price and simply disrespectful to the product. Service nice and friendly.

I first wanted to reserve a table online, but the system always redirected me to the next day. So no matter what the technology wanted, just went there, was greeted very friendly, when I asked about a table I was told that there was free choice of seats. The service was very nice and considerate, and I was told straight away (since it was the European Championships) that there was football going on outside in the beer tent. 👍🏻 The first drink took less than 5 minutes even though some tables were occupied and the service was alone, I had the food after 15 minutes. Everything tip top here. That's why don't let the online reservation fool you, it's best to come and see for yourself. The food (roast beef with fried potatoes) was also very tasty and highly recommended here.👍🏻

Systemgastro.... as always in the Paulaner :) Perfect for a 2, 3, 4, ...beer... Pay attention to opening times or, better yet, closing times

We were there in the winter to eat kale. The restaurant no longer had anything to do with “Paulaner” and “Bavarian charm” (except for the decoration). The waiter didn't speak a word of German. Explaining to him that I wanted "boiled potatoes" with the kale was really difficult; the question of whether Kaiserschmarn could be made without almonds in it completely overwhelmed him. That couldn't change even after 3 trips to the kitchen to see the chef, who was apparently equally overwhelmed. The food was okay but not a taste highlight either. The special requests for Kaiserschmarn for my children were (of course) not taken into account, so we had to organize something else for my son. At least I was full because after my small portion of kale I was still able to eat the portion for my son. It's a shame - we used to go there more often to eat "home-style" food. Now we'll definitely look for another restaurant.

A tavern like in Bavaria, visually really great. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is not at all right for the price. Unfortunately, the veal schnitzel consists more of bread and is therefore not surprising in terms of taste. After an appointment in Langenhagen we stopped at the Paulaner. We sat outside on the "terrace". Unfortunately, this is located directly on a busy street. Which isn't exactly inviting for the outdoor ambience. Inside, the restaurant is rustically decorated in Bavarian style with lots of wood. The toilets are in the basement and were very clean. And now for food. My wife had the 3 greens, 3 spinach dumplings with mushrooms, served in a cast iron pan and I had a village musician, burger with bacon and cheese, with a portion of French fries. We enjoyed both dishes very much. The service was fine. I would have liked a little more attention from the service crew as there wasn't much going on. I can recommend the restaurant.

...with the chance to sit outside... and yet somehow system catering is always the same... you get what you expect. Quiet, nothing going on during the week and "last round" around 10 p.m.

Service and ambience were very good, but unfortunately the food was below average. It was all very fatty, the fried potatoes had been reheated, dark, old and soaked in fat. The burger bun and meat were frozen goods, the sauce tasted like ready-made products. A pity! Possibly good for drinks, cheerful rounds of beer but unfortunately not recommended for food.

The Bavarian ambience in the Paulaner Wirtshaus is very authentic. The service there is fast, friendly, polite and totally accommodating. I have never been looked after as well in a restaurant as in the Paulaner Wirtshaus in Langenhagen. Not only is the selection of drinks outstanding, the food is also truly Bavarian. It was truly the best pork knuckle in my life. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. You'll be happy to come back there again.

Unfortunately it's not what you're really looking for and overall the service leaves a lot to be desired. Waiter stands around 10 minutes after you want the bill. You have to be reminded where others are accommodating.

Puuuuffff...I won't write everything here about what it was like during our visit because I'm very sorry. I think they have a new owner and we are self-employed ourselves and know what it's like at the beginning. But just one thing, when you order a pretzel with butter to take away, you expect a pretzel filled with butter, we got a pretzel and a piece of melted butter next to it in the box. I didn't know whether to laugh or get angry. Guys... step on the gas, you still have a chance😉

The restaurant has good food, a cozy atmosphere and a good price/performance ratio. It's a shame that the unmotivated staff, the even more unmotivated boss and the outrageously listless behavior at closing time are ruining everything. A pity. We won't be coming back.

Das Essen ist gut, die Örtlichkeit gemütlich und Preis / Leistung stimmt. Das Personal ist großteils eine Katastrophe - lustlos und unzuvorkommend. Überlastet und die Chefin steht daneben und ist sich offenbar zu fein mit anzupacken - selbst nach Ansprache unsererseits (Es ging um das Abräumen der leeren Teller und das Abwischen des Tisches) Des Weiteren wurde um 22.45 Uhr die Musik laut aufgedreht (wir hatten gerade unsere Getränke der letzten Runde bekommen), da das Lokal um 23 Uhr schließt und man pünktlich Feierabend machen wollte. (Urton Kellner) Wir waren wirklich oft in diesem schönen Lokal, aber seit Eigentümer Wechsel geht es stetig vergab. Für uns leider das letzte Mal.

We were there with 7 people for our 80th birthday. Even though it was relatively empty, the food took almost an hour to arrive! Otherwise the food was okay, but the music was way too loud and you could hardly have a conversation (Sunday lunchtime!). The heating was probably already in summer operation in mid-April when the outside temperature was in the single digits...

Delicious... had the Paderborn country chicken and was thrilled.

Had the Wiener Schnitzel here. It was very good, honestly. The ambience is appropriate and fits quite well. 1 point deducted because my wife didn't like the burger. The meat wasn't right for a burger, she says. Would come back but not for a burger :)

Unfortunately, services are very poor. Glasses and plates are not cleared. Drinks that have already been ordered take a long time (only after repeated requests) because the waiter prefers to sit outside while smoking and talking on the phone. It's a shame for the delicious food and the effort in the kitchen.

Went there again after 3 years on a spontaneous idea. The change of operator didn't do any good. The friendliness, the speed with which drinks and food were delivered and the new toilet facilities were positive. There were a lot of negative things... a large spec is a 0.33 bottle. The 25€ Wiener Schnitzel is 2mm thick, baked to pieces, deep fried, far dry, hard, inedible. We had 3 schnitzels at the table and all three were terrible. The best part of the dish were the little jars of cranberries and mayo and the lemon wedge. I informed the staff about this, they apologized and brought us 2x Bavarian cream as "compensation". Although it was nicely decorated, it tasted so intense and artificial that I didn't want to eat more than a spoonful. Furthermore, we asked ourselves, if we had three inedible schnitzels with under-fried fries, why did we only get an apology dessert twice?! I don't like eating sweet food at all and a €3 dessert doesn't make up for the "schnitzel" with fries. Material used 3€, sold for 25€. This is usury and borders on fraud. If my grandmother hadn't died a few hours earlier and we hadn't just wanted to eat something quickly, I would have said more about it there. But we just wanted to end the evening in a small group of mourners and leave again. I definitely won't be coming back.

A quiet and nice restaurant. We were there with a group of colleagues, everyone was full, everyone found something suitable to eat. The employees are very nice and make sure that nothing is missing. Won't be the last visit.

Great Bavarian restaurant in Langenhagen. Our female waitress did a great job, only the food took a while while the Paulaner was full, but that's not something to complain about.

Nice location, but the service seemed tired and wasn't that attentive. The onion soup was boring and bland, it just didn't taste good, even though it had little flavor. The other fries with pulled pork were powerful. The meat was extremely dry, as if it had been reheated several times. Neither the coleslaw nor the heap of quark went well with it. I was always curious about the store, but I would neither recommend it nor visit it a second time.

Went there on Friday with a friend and ordered light wheat beer and got two light wheat beers instead of wheat beer. Food was subpar, had the Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes and Champion cream sauce. Molded schnitzel of poorer quality with a gray ready-made sauce and mushy fried potatoes. My friend took a bite and gave the entire dish back, no reaction from the waiter like "was something wrong" or anything like that. He didn't really care and his listless mood confirmed that. My food came back after three attempts to like it. When we paid, we said again how bad the food was, and there was no reaction either. I think Paulaner stands for this with its name and should carry out a quality check there. As a wheat beer drinker, I don't give up on the beer.

It's amazing how many people enjoy the food offered here. Convenience without heart and soul, since the change of ownership. Talking about service when it comes to staff is also very risky. Unfortunately no longer recommended.

Unser Kellner Mustafa war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir waren zum Geburtstag meiner Mutter im Restaurant. Am Ende kam Mustafa mit einem Kaiserschmarren auf Kosten des Hauses. Vielen Dank an Mustafa und die Geschäftsleitung für eine sehr schöne Überraschung. Wir werden wieder kommen.........

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen ist gut. Besonders zu empfehlen ist allerdings der Kaiserschmarrn. Für mich eine glatte 10, besser wie in Österreich, sorry.

Wir waren mit 10 Leuten zum Essen dort. Früher hat es mir dort immer gefallen. Jetzt hat man wohl zur Gewinnmaximierung den Einkauf umgestellt. Pommes und Bratkartoffeln werden jetzt ungeschält serviert. In meinem Kulturkreis werden Kartoffeln geschält. Der Genuss steigt nicht durch die Schale. Ein Hinweis in der Karte auf die Zubereitung hätte geholfen. Dann hätte ich Klöße genommen. Die waren ohne Pelle. Geht scheinbar auch mit geschälten Kartoffeln. So habe ich kein Interesse mehr dem Restaurant. Es gibt bessere Speise in anderen Lokalen.

Wirklich sehr gute, bayerische Küche. Köstliches Gulasch, selbst die 3 grünen Knödel waren sehr gut und lecker. Ambiente urig gemütlich. Gerne wieder!

Bayrische Wirtshausatmosphäre, freundliche Bewirtung besonders durch einen Kellner. Leider TK Schnitzel und die Bratkartoffeln waren matschig da sie leider in der Champignonsoße lagen, da hätte ich etwas anderes erwartet.

Außer die Haxe und der Salat hat es sich hier um TK Ware gehandelt .Der Burger und Pommes wurden Kalt serviert .Man musste aufstehen und mehrfach zum „Tresen gehen damit man was nachbestellen konnte, weil niemand kam . Der Laden war nicht mal halb gefüllt .Bei der Ankunft fast 30 Minuten gewartet bis die Getränke aufgenommen wurden . Nach dem Essen wurde noch mal Kaiserschmarren nachbestellt, als dieser kam wurden nur 2 Teller entfernt damit man Platz hatte ihn abzustellen. der Rest wurde erst beim Bezahlen weggeräumt. Man fragte ob wir zufrieden waren , was ich klar verneinte .Essen geht so , Service schlecht bis sehr schlecht !!!!Also wir werden nicht mehr hinfahren und dafür lieber das Paulaner in der Stadt ausprobieren.

Sehr gemütlich, zivile Preise, nette Bedienung. Kommen bestimmt wieder.

War mit einem Kollegen 2 Abende dort essen, wir waren begeistert. Freundliche Bedienung, immer am lächeln, eine Dame für alle Tische. Essen war klasse und wir waren satt. Ein Kollege für die Getränke und Ausgabe des Essen. Kann es nur empfehlen und würde dort wieder hin gehen.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen da und hatten vier verschiedene Gerichte. Alle Gerichte haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt, waren in kurzer Zeit ansehnlich angerichtet und schnell an den Tisch geliefert. Wir wurden freundlich und aufmerksam bedient, waren jedoch auch unter der Woche da mit wenig anderen Gästen im Restaurant. Für gehbehinderte Personen bitte beachten, dass die Toiletten im Keller über eine Treppe erreicht werden müssen.

Nach 1 Jahr mal wieder hier gewesen. An 2 Sternen hat sich nichts geändert. Diesmal sind es die TK-Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse an labbrigen Bratkartoffeln und einer Pilz-Rahm-Soße vermutlich aus der Tüte, das Ganze noch lieblos angerichtet. Immerhin 2 Sterne für das lecker gezapfte Bier und die freundliche, aber überforderte Service-Mannschaft. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt einfach nicht.

Eine Korrektur: ich war mehr Mals dort und es war immer alles soweit gut Aber bei meinem letzten Besuch mussten wir unsere Bestellung inklusive Getränke über 30 Minuten warten. Und nach so langer Wartezeit wollten weggehen, dann hat uns die Kellnerin mit Polizei bedroht. Also seit dem gehen wir nie wieder hin. Keine Empfehlung.

Top-Lokal! Speisen lecker, große Portionen. Personal sehr freundlich

Super Essen, also Haxe mit Sauerkraut. Preis ist absolut angemessen: Keine 50 Euro für zwei Personen inklusive Hefeweizen. Wir haben draußen gesessen, Wärmestrahler und Decken sind dort vorhanden. Toll organisiert und das Personal wirklich freundlich. Echt zu empfehlen!

Da ich selbst aus München komme , naja hat mit bayerischer Küche nicht viel zu tun . Bedienung nett aber ungelernt .... Das geht besser , mehr Aufmerksamkeit wäre schön . Einrichtung ist eher oben anzusiedeln 😊

Auf die Suppen haben wir ewig gewartet. Auf Änderungswünsche bei der Bestellung wurde nicht eingegangen.

Der Service war nicht gut. Um unsere Bestellung aufzugeben, mussten wir nachdem wir 15 Minuten gewartet hatten zur Bar gehen und um Service bitten. Als wir dann unsere Bestellung getätigt hatten, kamen Getränke und Essen recht zügig. Leider wurde unsere Vorspeise vergessen. Vom Personal kam keine Entschuldigung oder ähnliches sondern nur der Vorschlag wir könnten die Vorspeise ja später essen, was wir dankend ablehnten. Das Essen war OK, aber nichts besonderes. Um die Rechnung zu bekommen, mussten wir wieder zur Bar gehen. Die Rechnung enthielt auch die Vorspeise, die wir nicht bekommen hatten. Insgesamt bleibt der Eindruck von überfordertem Personal und durchschnittlicher Küche. Wir werden sicher kein zweites Mal hier essen.

Bayrische Gastfreundlichkeit? Hier nicht! Wurden beim betreten des Restaurants nicht begrüßt. Man lief einfach ignorant an uns vorbei. Diese Ignoranz zog sich durch den gesamten Aufenthalt. Das Restaurant war meiner Meinung nach, für einen Freitagabend mit nur 2 Personen unterbesetzt. Als wir nach 15 Minuten immer noch nicht bedient wurden haben wir den Mitarbeiter hinter der Bar zu uns gebeten. Das Essen war dafür nach bereits keinen 10 Minuten auf dem Tisch. Ob das für Qualität spricht kann jeder selbst entscheiden. Unseren Absacker mussten wir auch selbst an der Bar bestellen da niemand kam ob alles Recht ist oder um den Tisch abzuräumen. Selbst als die Absacker an den Tisch gebracht wurden, wurden die leeren Teller erst auch Nachfrage abgeräumt. Als wir zahlen wollten war auch keine Bedienung in der Nähe. Nachdem ich mich wieder mal auf die Suche machte, fand ich ihm telefonierend in einem Nebenraum. Wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Hat hier ein Betreiberwechsel stattgefunden? Wir sind seit sicher 15 Jahren regelmäßig Gäste im Paulaner Langenhagen (gewesen). Unser gestriger Besuch war enttäuschend. Die netten Damen im Dirndl wurden durch junge Herren ersetzt. Der eine sprach zwar leidlich gut Deutsch, befand sich aber quasi unseren gesamten Besuch hindurch im privaten Gespräch mit seinen Bekannten am Nebentisch. Der andere spricht so schlechtes Deutsch, dass er meine Frage nach der Größe des halben Eisbeins nicht beantworten konnte. Irgendwann wurde das Schnitzel mit Sambal-Soße von der Karte gestrichen, man bekam es aber noch auf Anfrage. Das ist nun vorbei. Die Karte hat sich stark verschmälert. Zum Essen: Die Kruste des Eisbeins war steinhart, das Fleisch insgesamt geschmacklos, das Sauerkraut eine in Wasser schwimmende Pampe, das Brot wohl vom Vortag. Die Bratkartoffeln, die früher mal vorzüglich waren, haben geschmacklich auch nachgelassen. Zünftiges bayrisches Essen sah im Paulaner bislang immer anders aus. Wir bedauern diese Veränderung zum Negativen sehr und werden wohl nicht wiederkommen.

Es war gemütlich und sauber, die Bedienung sehr net und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war echt lecker und eine auch für das Auge gute Zubereitung. Ich kann dieses Lokal nur weiter Empfehlen.

Wir waren schon öfter bei einem Aufenthalt in Hannover im Brauhaus und waren bislang immer zufrieden. Wir vermuten, dass es im letzen Jahr ( da war unser letzter Besuch ) einen Inhaber Wechsel gab. Es gibt keine freundlichen Bedingungen im Dirndl mehr, die gute Laune verbreiten. Das Schweineschnitzel sowie auch die Soße waren Fertigprodukte und hart bzw. trocken gebraten. Anstatt Bratkartoffeln ( wie bestellt) haben wir Schmorkartoffel bekommen (nicht vorher gekocht). Meine Schweinshaxe war von außen knusprig und von innen total trocken ( und evtl einfach nur aufgewärmt). Dazu gab es ein bisschen Sauerkraut und eine Scheibe Brot welche aus sehr trocken war. Unser Bier aus der Flasche wurde uns auf den Tisch gestellt und nicht einmal eingeschenkt. Die Kellner machten beide den Eindruck, dass es besser wäre wenn hier einfach kein Gast stören sollte. Die Reklamation zum Essen wurde einfach missachtet. Wir haben dann bezahlt und werden ganz sicher nicht wiederkommen. Fertigprodukte zu teuren Preisen mit Flaschenbier, dazu gehen wir sicher nicht ins Brauhaus . Schade ☹️

Sehr gemütlich, gutes Essen. Bedienung sehr freundlich aber nicht aufmerksam, halbe Stunde gebraucht um zu bemerken das man zahlen möchte.
