If you are in Munich you have to go and try the beer there… uffff

Another delicious meal, I had the game goulash and for dessert the gingerbread mousse with ice cream. Both highly recommended. As always, everything was prepared very appetizingly. Attentive service, everything with a feel-good factor. Vegetarians are also well catered for and tasty.

Food was alright. The pumpkin soup was a tad too sour for my taste. Otherwise the meat selection was fine. However the waitress was very rude to us. When we mentioned that we had a reservation she replied with “so what?”She proceeded to take our order normally then out of nowhere she said that we were being rude and that she would not serve us if we continued being rude. We were very confused and she just left. Came back later after a long time with our food acting like nothing happened. Such a shame that a good place was ruined by an attitude. You have been warned.

Cenone di capodanno prenotato con mesi di anticipo in quanto era l’unico locale rimasto a prendere prenotazioni. Accoglienza e servizio super, la grigliata mista ottima. Ambiente tranquillo, camerieri col sorriso nonostante la sera di capodanno. Possibilità di scegliere dal menu classico alla carta o da quello speciale di capodanno. Per non parlare della birra. MALA EXPERIENCIA Nunca me han tratado tan mal en un restaurante. Fui a cenar con mi novio, nos sentaron y nos trajeron los menús (que a mi parecer son confusos) ; una vez que habíamos elegido, la camarera (de origen asiático) llegó para tomar nuestro pedido, nos trajeron la bebida y luego llegó el Schnitzel, lástima que habíamos pedido dos (uno cada uno, de hecho no habíamos pedido nada más) le señalamos esto a la camarera que de inmediato respondió mal diciendo que era culpa nuestra y ella había entendido correctamente, no pedimos uno segundo y decidimos dividir ese, la camarera volvió a la mesa preguntándonos si habíamos querido un plato vacío, no ser local y no hablar bien el idioma pedimos repetir educadamente y lo hicimos con calma, se enojó y volvió gritándome casi tirando el plato, le pedí que se calmara porque seguía jurándonos, toda la gente se detuvo a mirar, seguía gritando. Ni siquiera recibimos una disculpa, pagamos y nos fuimos. Recomiendo encarecidamente revisar el personal y la camarera para cambiar de trabajo. Nunca volveré, lo desaconsejo encarecidamente.

BAD EXPERIENCE I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant. I went to dinner with my boyfriend, they sat us down and brought the menus (which in my opinion are confusing); once we had chosen, the waitress (of Asian origin) arrived to take our order, the drink was brought to us and then the Schnitzel arrived, too bad that we had ordered two (one each, in fact we hadn't ordered anything else) we pointed this out to the waitress who immediately replied badly saying that it was our fault and she had understood correctly, we did not order a second one and we decided to divide that one, the waitress returned to the table asking us if we had wanted an empty plate, not being local and not speaking the language well we asked to repeat politely and we did it calmly, she got angry and came back screaming almost throwing the plate at me, I asked her to calm down because she kept swearing at us, all the people stopped to look, she kept screaming. We didn't even receive an apology, we paid and left. I highly recommend reviewing the staff and the waitress to change jobs. I will never go back, I strongly advise against it.

Solid beer but no atmosphere despite Munich being pretty busy everywhere else. We paid €50 or so to do curling (pre-booked) only to show up and see it’s empty, a plastic rink, and with no service staff coming out to check on us. Went to another bar after where it was buzzing with real ice for the curling and a more attentive staff. Good spot overall to warm up with beer and no chaos (December).

Dinner at the Paulaner brewery: very good veal cutlet and potatoes. Sweet enough. I recommend it for anyone coming to Munich

Wonderful brewery with tradition! The menu offers something for everyone with classic and traditional Bavarian specialties. Great service and great ambience.

Wir hatten uns auf ein bayrisches, gemütliches Mittagessen nach dem Kino gefreut. War leider ein Reinfall. Ich habe in meinem ganzen Leben noch nie so miserable Maultaschen gegessen. Mir war sogar hinterher schlecht. Auch das andere Essen war durchschnittlich. Obwohl das Restaurant nur halb voll war, dauerte der Service ewig. Hier waren wir früher viel zufriedener.

Zum Essen leider nicht zu empfehlen. Die Kasspätzle waren unterdurchschnittlich. Das Fleischgericht war abgesehen von den Beilagen gut. Das Spezialbier war sehr gut. Also besser nur zum Trinken dorthin gehen

We ordered our Christmas duck here plus red cabbage and sauce. First of all, the price was reasonable. The time we saved on the stove was worth it to us. The staff was nice, quick and :) funny when picking up, as the stress was easier for them. The duck was cooked well and the instructions were simple and understandable. Sauce and red cabbage (and I still think it's red cabbage) were awesome. We now have a plan to go to the tavern as well, as we hadn't had this on our radar yet. Thanks again for the great service.

Terrible experience. We were there in a big group, spending more than 500€. The waiter treated us very bad and finally forced me to pay one meal nobody took. Despite the explanations and the proofs, they refused to refund me. If a restaurant is not willing to listen to their customers, it doesn't deserve a visit

A group of 8 people (2 families with small children) arrived yesterday at the place with a reservation having a big smiles in our faces because the adults are big fans of Paulaner beers ,expecting nothing but the best!!! At the entrance a very friendly,with a big smile reception welcomed us and indicated in which table to sit. A few minutes later another waitress came and gave us the menus. After a few minutes she came back with a smile in her face and asked if we are ready to order and she was very helpful with us to place the order , 8 different plates , drinks and salad! The drinks arrived a few minutes later and a couple of minutes after the salad without any plates to use!? We were waiting for the plates but no luck! We decided to call a different waiter because our waitress seemed occupied and asked for some plates! Our waitress then came with an attitude and indicated that we are going to have plates when our main plates arrive and that by mistake the salad arrived earlier !!!??? Politely answered that until then and since the salad is on the table to bring us plates to start eating and she left shouting that we are not polite and we are rude!!!!??? One of our group answered that we are not rude although we can be if she continues with this attitude!!! As a conclusion we believe that it was an not a representative service of the place but certainly it was an very bad experience!!! Also the space of the place is very big without heating and the kids and the women of our families were feeling cold and for that reason uncomfortable!!! The toilets was not clean and there was a very bad smell !!! The food was nice but not excellent with a very small portion and the salad was for 4 and not for 8 people so by this the price seems expensive !!! Bottom line it’s not bad to be polite and make your customers feel comfortable and leave with a smile!!!! Certainly we left with a question…. Is this the Paulaner’s hospitality????

Food (we were there on December 25th at 7 p.m.) came incredibly quickly, under 20 minutes. Portions were manageable, tasted ok, unfortunately almost all of the dishes (there were nine of us) were not really warm/hot. We gave some of the food back and it was warmed up, the result was a little better, cooked really fresh and hot and served tastes different... Price/performance not in balance

Big place but only a few bathrooms. Friendly service and clean. I had the pork which was very tender and tasty. The spaetzle made from egg noodles were nice and cheesy.

Christmas party impression: This could be better. At the reception there was mulled wine, which was at most lukewarm. Extremely loud inside, it was hardly possible to have a conversation. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food was quite ok. However, there was food combining. A large pan with meat and sausage, plus a dollop of red cabbage (for 7 people, well). and one dumpling for everyone. The sauce...came a quarter of an hour later. By then the dumplings had run out. They came again 3/4 hours later. If this had been better organized, the food could have been quite usable. Too bad.

We had the pleasure dining here, and we must say the service was exceptional. The lady attending to us was incredibly nice, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Her warm demeanor added to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend visiting this place for not just the delicious food, but also the fantastic service.

I took a group of 32 people, the service was very bad in 2 hours with a reservation of 2 dishes and dessert per person, the dessert never arrived, we got up to leave without the dessert because they didn't bring it to us and since they wanted to charge for the drinks there they did They paid attention to us, in fact, they closed the door to the room so as not to let us leave without paying for the drinks. Very bad service, at least with my group.

The service was very bad, we were a group of 31 people, we had dinner arranged, and they served us so slowly that we had to leave until the desserts because the bus had a pick-up time. He told the waiter and he did not listen to reason, alluding that he had a lot of people in the restaurant and did not have more staff. We had to leave the desserts. Disappointing experience We were in the restaurant with a group of 30 people and were looking forward to a lovely evening. The food was tasty, but unfortunately not worth the price. The portions were very small and not enough, so we all had to go somewhere else to eat afterwards. The service was particularly disappointing. When we asked if our driver could eat with us, he refused in a very rude manner. Overall the staff was not friendly and we didn't feel welcome. Conclusion: The food was little for a lot of money and the service left a lot to be desired. We won't be coming back.

Arrived early and seated immediately. Beers were amazing... But they are my favorites. Grilled sausage was very good and so was the pumpkin soup. Treated very well by all staff. Great experience!

I went to the restaurant with my family today for lunch, we placed the ordered at 13:50. The food arrived 14:25 (35min waiting with a child!) The food was good but the portion was very small (€27 euros for the portion on the photo). We tried to order more drinks (we called the waiter 4 times…. When he finally showed up we ordered more drinks and it never arrived!!

The service is horrible. Me and my wife asked for a table and we waited for more than 20min for a waiter to come. Three waiters looked at us and ignored us, they passed by and went to other tables. there were only 4 tables (counting ours). I had to stand up and ask if I could buy a beer and I got yelled at, telling me that they take orders at the table. The only reason why I am giving them a star is because the beer was good.

Quality very very worn out! No dark beer!! no beer on the menu! Conditions with major errors and unfriendly. 1/4 pork knuckle a mini portion!, hardly enough to fill you up. 1/2 duck for 34 euros!! but not really much! Kaiserschmarn mediocre. I felt unwelcome there. Everybody sounded passive-aggressive. I don't know if that's just an impression, but it felt like they were also annoyed that me and my friends were not German speakers. The beer was good, but I could not evaluate the food there, because I left after one beer.

Very nice place and very good food. However, the menu is deliberately unclear regarding the plate of various Munich meats. It is said that it must be ordered by at least 2 people and that the cost per person is €26.50. By ordering two portions you imagine having to pay €53. At the checkout, however, the bitter surprise: 4 portions marked and the cost doubled. Who knows how many tourists have stumbled upon this clever trick. P.s. the 0.75 liter bottle of carbonated water for €7.50 cannot be seen...

The service is just disgusting! This should be criminalized in Germany! We just came to have a good time together and the waiter not only mixed up the order and brought a different beer even though we told him several times, but also staged an inter-ethnic provocation. Instead of taking our order, the waiter started asking us where we were from. And when he found out that one of our guests was from Ukraine, he showed us pictures of the Russian imperial flag and a picture of himself with Putin, who had been recognized as a war criminal in Germany. This is outrageous! The manager simply apologized and said that of course the waiter was in the wrong, but in my opinion he should be fired or even fined for sedition based on Section 130 of the Criminal Code.

Very tasty food, very friendly staff, a bit noisy due to large groups

Wiener schnitzl with undercooked potatoes 31 EUR. The guy who was serving was very non-welcoming, brings food without any kind gesture, I say thank you, he says nothing. When the bill arrives, he suddenly becomes kind. But he gives me the bill and says the tip is not included, will you give tip? Absolutely not. Its not only rude behaviour from the start, but the moment of cornering at the end I also found aggressive. I certainly will not be returning here.

Their website shows brewery tour, when we get here, they said only for 10 people only, which is 240 dollars, so we just decided to seat down have lunch, they give me a regular menu has English written on it, so we order from it, end up other table has their lunch different than us, to found out they have lunch menu seating on the table and all in German, and is half of what I am paying. I won't come here again just because they purposely discriminate English speaking tourist. My bill is close to 70 euro, 2 meal and one beer. Their lunch menu is 13 dollars each item, my fried pork is 19 euro...

The roast pork didn't quite meet my expectations, the lemon shandy was very good. Overall ok.

For a simple roast pork with mini dumplings €17 and coleslaw €3.50 it's outrageous to ask for the whole thing to be lukewarm. The beer was good. We won't come back...

Very nice brewery atmosphere! Well-kept and cozy, as a visitor to Munich would like, but not too geared towards tourists. Great service and very fast service! Be sure to try the “Rote Wilma” beer! During the meal, one person was mistakenly served the wrong dish, but the "alternative" was also delicious, so we didn't have to accept the exchange offer - and in addition to many apologies, we also got a free espresso. Gladly again!

After at least 20 minutes in line - in German beer bars it is normal to wait for a table whether it is under the scorching sun or in the cold snowy winter, even for more than 20 minutes - we managed to get a table for 4. One of the worst dining experiences of my life. This review was from a few weeks ago when we were on a family trip to Munich for opening weekend of Oktoberfest. We decided to go here one night for dinner, made reservations in advance. We were nothing but nice, patient, and courteous to the staff. Our waiter was a complete jerk. Not sure if he just didn't like us cause we were American, or what his deal was. But we sat for over two hours and we're served drinks once, and never received our food. They kept accidentally brining us other people's food for us to say it wasn't ours. Other parties that come after us and sat by us were served their food within 20 minutes. It was ridiculous, finally a staff member told us the kitchen never got our order and told us we wouldn't have to pay for the round of beer we got if we wanted to leave . So we did, the waiter notices this and follows us out angry, and ends up getting in a screaming match with the other staff. What a joke, we didn't deserve to get treated like that. Really unfortunate. Avoid this place.

Estuvimos bastante agradecidos de conseguir mesa el sábado 21 de septiembre a las 5 : 30 - adentro. La anfitriona era muy amable y nos ayudó a conseguir una mesa para disfrutar de una comida fantástica en el inicio de Oktoberfest. Acabamos de llegar a Munich y queríamos una buena comida alemana. Nuestro hotel recomendó este restaurante y nos quedamos más que impresionados. El lugar estaba lleno de gente disfrutando del Oktoberfest. Gran música y ambiente. Verdaderamente la mejor manera de comenzar nuestro viaje en Munich. Los precios son bastante razonables. La comida y el servicio es excepcional.

Like every year at Oktoberfest, we were here and I have to say that the dishes on offer were OK, but the inability to change a sauce made it seem as if the portions had been prepared, vacuum-sealed and just heated up quickly. I think that would be a shame. This time the Kaiserschmarrn turned out to be a bit firm and dry. I'm also personally missing some variety in the menu, two new, slightly trickier dishes. It feels like it's always the same over the years.

Wir haben uns auf einen schönen Abend in einem Brauhaus gefreut. Der Kellner war mit den wenigen Gästen im Biergarten leider überfordert (ca. 10 Gäste). Mehrfach musste er Bestellungen erfragen oder die Getränke neu aufnehmen. Getränke auf der Karte kannte er nicht und z.B. die 0,5 l Weinschorle wurde nicht geliefert, stattdessen 0.2 l. Wir hatten die Käsespätzle - nicht mehr als ok. 3/5. Und Braumeisterschnitzel - Hilfe? Geschmacklich ok, aber von 4 Seiten war lediglich eine paniert. 2,5/5 Der Service war leider durchweg chaotisch 1/5.

What a nice restaurant it was - 30 years ago! Now a touristy craft brewery with mediocre food, mediocre service and zero charm. I don't think I'll go there anymore.

I went there with my family one evening at the end of August. We ate well and they brought a smaller plate of cutlets than normal for the children. All very good and excellent beer. Too bad about the cost of water which is the same as that of beer and being outside we had bees as unwanted company.

As a real Munich resident, I have to say: just sad... The best thing about the 1/2 haxn was the coleslaw - and it comes from a can... Service was ok, but we also sat right next to the bar…. Too bad!

Everything is tip top! Nice atmosphere outside in the beer garden, nice and quick service staff and really delicious food. Price-performance ratio is right here.

Very rude and incorrect service, the staff makes comments (they changed the table because of the rain) and is rude in response to a reminder that the order (a shot of liqueur) has been taken for 20 minutes. The waiters confuse orders and don’t understand where to take what. The food is average, probably normal for Germany.

We enjoyed a relaxing evening in the biergarten, ordering too much food because there were so many things we wanted to try. The cheese spaetzle was good, but it was the cheese board and the salad with goat cheese in a malt crust that stole the show. So many interesting flavors to combine!

Far exceeded expectations on food. We went on a Tuesday evening for dinner and there was hardly anyone there. We sat in the Biergarten which was relaxing with a baby in hand.

Giovedì sera abbiamo cenato in questa birreria e devo dire che è stata un' ottima cena. L'ambiente è veramente bello ( noi abbiamo cenato in giardino ) e complice forse il fatto che non ci fosse il pienone l'ambiante risultava molto rilassante. Il servizio è stato ottimo come i piatti ordinati, ben presentati, buoni e abbondanti. Per quanto riguarda la birra inutile dire che è ottima. Sicuramente ci ritornerei e lo consiglio !!!

Io e la mia famiglia ci siamo presentati alle 19:00 nel locale, dove ci hanno fatto accomodare mentre il ristorante si riempiva. Abbiamo ordinato da bere e da mangiare, e poco dopo un cameriere ha portato le nostre pietanze, ma per errore le ha servite al tavolo accanto, dove erano seduti altri turisti. Questi, dopo aver discusso tra loro per diversi minuti, si sono resi conto che non erano i loro piatti. Come se non bastasse, hanno anche utilizzato una loro posata su uno dei piatti, destinato al nostro bambino, che conteneva verdure e carne. Noi, a pochi metri di distanza, abbiamo osservato tutta la scena. Nel frattempo, i piatti corretti sono arrivati al tavolo dei turisti. Il cameriere, per "correggere" l'errore, ha semplicemente tolto i piatti sbagliati da sotto il loro naso e li ha portati a noi, come se nulla fosse successo. Anche se i piatti erano esteticamente molto belli, l'esperienza è stata rovinata dalla scortesia, dalla poca professionalità e dalla totale mancanza di volontà di rimediare. Vi assicuro che non metterò mai più piede nei vostri locali. I piatti sono stati rimandati indietro, ho pagato la birra e siamo andati altrove. Tenendo conto che in molti locali la mancia è quasi obbligatoria, il cameriere è stato pessimo: non si è scusato né ha fatto nulla per rimediare all'errore Ho pagato la birra da 1litro e sono qui ultimi 10uero e spicci che vedete da me

Wow! The pig's feet are really delicious, even the skin is delicious. The best thing is the lettuce salad. The vegetables are of good quality and large. The sauce is seasoned just right. The beer brewed in-house is full-bodied and great! The best thing is the attitude of the service staff. The young, tall and thin boy serves so many people. He runs in and out, sweating but still smiling, holding a pile of dishes and cups with both hands, even if he spills drinks on the guests' clothes in the busy process. We quickly helped him wipe his own clothes and clothes with napkins. No one would blame him. For the delicious meals, people couldn’t help but poke their heads into the kitchen before leaving to give the chef a thumbs up!

My family and I arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 PM, where we were seated as the place was filling up. We ordered drinks and food, and shortly after, a waiter brought our dishes, but by mistake, he served them to the table next to us, where other tourists were sitting. After discussing among themselves for several minutes, they realized the dishes were not theirs. To make matters worse, they even used one of their utensils on a dish that was intended for our child, which contained vegetables and meat. We observed the whole scene from just a few meters away. Meanwhile, the correct dishes arrived at the tourists' table. The waiter, in an attempt to "correct" the mistake, simply took the wrong dishes from under their noses and brought them to us as if nothing had happened. Although the dishes were aesthetically pleasing, the experience was ruined by the rudeness, lack of professionalism, and complete unwillingness to make amends. I assure you that I will never set foot in your establishments again. The dishes were sent back, I paid for the beer, and we went elsewhere. Considering that tipping is almost mandatory in many places, the waiter was truly awful: he did not apologize or do anything to rectify the mistake. My family and I showed up at the restaurant at 7pm, where they seated us while the restaurant filled up. We ordered food and drinks, and shortly afterwards a waiter brought our food, but by mistake served it to the next table, where other tourists were sitting. These, after discussing among themselves for several minutes, realized that they were not their dishes. As if that wasn't enough, they also used their own cutlery on one of the plates, intended for our child, which contained vegetables and meat. We, a few meters away, observed the whole scene. Meanwhile, the correct dishes have arrived at the tourists' table. The waiter, to "correct" the mistake, simply took the wrong dishes out from under their noses and brought them to us, as if nothing had happened. Although the dishes were aesthetically very beautiful, the experience was ruined by rudeness, lack of professionalism and the total lack of will to make amends. I assure you that I will never set foot in your premises again. The dishes were sent back, I paid for the beer and we went elsewhere. Taking into account that tipping is almost mandatory in many places, the waiter was terrible: he neither apologized nor did anything to remedy the mistake I paid for the 1 liter beer and here are the last 10 euros and change that you see from me

I always take Paulaner beer with me on vacation.

The spaetzle is something I’ll be thinking about for a long time. It was beyond delicious. Bees were annoying but waiters saw and gave us extra coasters to cover our beer.

Was there for dinner with the family of 6. When we wanted to order a measure, the waiter looked at us strangely. All three measures were filled to the limit (according to web research, 15mm is allowed before the beer police come). When I order a beer, I expect a liter and not even 9dl, even without the beer police! The under cabinet seems to have a system here! Simply not correct!

We had scheduled a visit, we arrived at the place, showed the reservation and the attendant told us to wait. The reservation time passed and nothing. We decided to order lunch. Nobody came to help us. We called about 3 or 4 times. When we finally placed the order, it only came with 3 dishes, although we had ordered 5. We do not recommend this place.
