I think I have rarely been so disappointed and angry at the same time. I am organizing a Christmas party for our company on January 4th. should take place. I announced this in Paula at the beginning/mid of October. On November 15th I was called and asked if everything was still there and running smoothly, whereupon I replied in the affirmative and said that I would be in touch again at the end of the year to coordinate the details (time and number of people). When I wanted to do this today, I was informed that the bowling alley we wanted to use was already taken. Thank you very much for the fact that I now have to quickly look for a new location for 14 people. I was really happy to try you and your food, but now I've probably lost the desire forever!!!

Unfortunately I had the wrong beer 🍺. Was a cyclist, not Mauritius, what a shame The meal, pork schnitzel gratinated with champions and cheese, served with fried potatoes, was presented carelessly and without amputation. Sand like a blob of the 🐄 on the plate. No raw vegetable side dish as a colorful highlight on the plate. Fried potatoes were salty. Couldn't finish these. And then there’s the waiting time for food. 80 minutes is clearly too long. Not recommended.

It was a very good restaurant meal 10/10 the sauce was very good there could have been a little more sauce otherwise everything was perfect The tomato mozzarella platter only had mozzarella balls, but for the price you should upgrade to 2 balls Drinks 8/10 Cola was only available at 0.33l, that should be upgraded and I ordered 1l of beer and only got 0.5l but everything was good on the bill A great freshly made pretzel was warm and only €1 top

I celebrated my birthday here. I had lunch with my family and everyone was pleasantly surprised - it tasted very good. The atmosphere was great, as was the staff, and we can only recommend it!

Gute Lage in der Innenstadt und gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Die weiblichen Servicekräfte waren alle sehr freundlich, sympathisch und zuvorkommend, während die männliche Servicekraft laut herumgebrüllt hat, nicht zugehört hat und mir, wen wundert's, dann auch prompt das falsche Getränk gebracht hat... Aber okay. 😉 Das Essen war reichlich und lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passte.

Very nice restaurant with nice service and a chef who knows his craft. We ate delicious schnitzel in different variations. Both were very good. But Schäufele and Haxe are also recommended. We always enjoy coming here.

Good restaurant. Unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users, as the toilets can only be reached via stairs and you have to overcome a step at the entrance.

Wir waren zu einem Geschäftsessen mit ausschließlich englischsprechenden Teilnehmern dort. Der Service hat sofort reagiert, eine englische Karte und auch die Beantwortung englischer Fragen war kein Problem. In Zwickau leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit... Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut, die Preise sind der zentralen Lage angepasst und von daher ok. Man war sehr geduldig mit uns, wir waren die letzten Gäste und kommen bestimmt wieder!

A very rustic restaurant with excellent food in a lovely Bavarian flair. The service is top and the atmosphere is cozy. The price remained on the ground despite large and very tasty portions. Very friendly staff and prompt service. Any time. And a clear recommendation for future visitors or guests.

I tried to book a table there online, then called again two hours later and was told that the reservation was not possible. When I asked why I didn't get an answer, my colleague couldn't give an answer. She spoke very badly, I don't know if she was German

Quaint pub in the heart of Zwickau

Quaint brewery-style restaurant. Good home cooking in the Franconian style. Food was good and plentiful. Very reasonably priced for my taste. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Food came quickly and was tasty. What is on the menu is on the plate. If you're hoping for a side salad or something, you're out of luck. It didn't bother me. But it was good that we had reserved. Unfortunately, many had to leave again.

The ambience is rustic, Bavarian that fits, the service is also very friendly and fast, but I had farmer's breakfast and I'm a farmer's breakfast fanatic☝️ but that was really not good...just potatoes and egg, without onion, sausage and unfortunately also pretty bland, Well, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone here, but I also have to say that everyone who sat at the table with me was happy with their food, they also ordered pork knuckle and rösti with salmon, so I'll try something different next time.

Dieser Ort ist vielen nicht bekannt oder bewusst. Da es aber echt einen Besuch wert ist, ist es für mich ein Geheimtipp in Zwickau

Es ist nicht immer einfach einen Tisch zu ergattern, aber das spricht schon für sich. Wenn man dann das Glück hat einen Tisch zu bekommen, kann man sich auf tolle Speisen, leckeres Bier und sympathisches Personal freuen.

Schönes Ambiente leider lauter Dielenboden jedesmal wenn Kellner in Küche raus und rein wird es laut. Essenspreis ist gehoben aber gute Qualität.

Man denkt man sitzt in einem bayerischen Lokal...nur das Personal ist noch freundlicher, selbst wenn das Lokal voll ist. Sogar eine gemütliche Skaterunde ist willkommen. Die Speisekarte bietet für Jeden, der deftige und bayrische Essen mag, etwas. Natürlich sind die Biere vom Paulaner Hell bis Weißbier im Angebot. Gerne wieder...

Ein voller 5 Sterne Abend. Angefangen von der äußerst netten Bedienung bis zum wirklich leckeren und ausreichenden Essen bis hin zum gemütlichen Ambiente. Hier versteht man noch was unter Gastfreundlichkeit. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es im Parkhaus beim Puppentheater oder auf dem kleinen Parkplatz am alten Steinweg. Kleiner Tipp, reserviert vorher einen Tisch, diese Gaststätte ist nicht ohne Grund sehr beliebt ;-)

Lecker Bier, lecker Wein und es gab auch einen leckeren glutenfreien Auflauf für mich. Der Service war super nett und aufmerksam und das tolle Wetter rundete unseren Aufenthalt ab. Das Leben ist schön 🤩

Das Essen war gut aber die Bedienung müsste einheitliche Bekleidung tragen und natürlich muss auch bayrisches Essen zur Verfügung stehen. Deswegen geht man ja auch dahin. Es gab keine Schweinshaxe, Sauerbraten, Roulade und der Hausschnaps war auch alle. Das passt einfach nicht.

Tolles Essen, nette Menschen, schönes, uriges Ambiente. Schon oft dort gewesen, jetzt erst zum Mittagessen für unsere Hochzeit und wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Visited this bar on my most recent trip to Zwickau. Large bar in the main square with decent beer. Although I didn't eat here (I'd already eaten!), the food looked delicious. Nice atmosphere. I will return next time in Zwickau, probably for a meal as well!

Leckeres Essen, große Portionen, freundliche Bedienung und gute Lage. Hier kann man gut essen und trinken und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Wir kommen wieder!

Der Geschmack hat uns leider nicht überzeugt!

Das Bier ist hier noch bezahlbar weil der Michi ein geiler Typ ist.

Service war klasse, aber das Essen hat uns leider nicht ganz überzeugt. Gut war die Tomatensuppe, denn diese war selbstgemacht und sehr aromatisch. Der Koch scheint aber bei den Bratkartoffeln leider verliebt gewesen zu sein, die Champignons waren nicht frisch und eine schöne Garnitur hat auch gefehlt.

Sehr schöner Biergarten im Herzen von Zwickau. Ein paar mehr Tische wären natürlich toll, gerade wenn Hochsaison ist.

Unterirdischer Kartoffelsalat, offensichtlich aus dem Eimer, der jetzt nach 3 Stunden durchschlagenden Erfolg zeigt. Also alles andere als frisch und hausgemacht.

Ate at Paula whilst on business. The staff are friendly and there was plenty of them. The Snitzel was nice as was the weiss beer.

I cannot give a review of the food as we never got to eat. When addressing the member of staff present to ask if one of the tables was free, the only reply was: no, reserved, in an unfriendly tone. It also seemed that the hospitality and vocabulary was exhausted at that time as the staff member turned on her heel and swiftly walked away. Seemed completely uninterested in perhaps offering another table. The food might be good, but we never got to experience it, as the staff is definately not.

Wir hatten eine Geburtstagsfeier nachzuholen , also ab in die Stadt zur "Paula" zum Reservieren (06.05.2022) . Schon an diesen Tag wurden wir sehr zu unserer Zufriedenheit bedient und bekocht . Ein Blick in die Speisekarte und uns war klar hier kann man noch mit einem etwas schmaleren Portemonnaie einkehren und für jeden Geschmack ist was dabei . Also reserviert und gefeiert (14.05.2022) . Alles super . Freundliche Bedienung . Alle sind satt geworden , geschmeckt hat es allen . Wir kommen gerne wieder . Vielen ,vielen Dank nochmal ans Servicepersonal und an alle in der Küche , Ihr habt alle einen guten Job gemacht . Auf WIEDERSEHEN !!!

One of the best restaurants in the city. Awesome location in the hearth of the city, high quality service, super friendly personal, delicious dishes of classical German cuisine. The waitresses are talking English and you would find menu in three different languages. Very nice atmosphere in general. Definitely must visit!

It had been a while since I had visited a German restaurant. For a Saturday it was pretty empty, so we were allowed to pick a nice, big table for the two of us. The order was taken promptly and the drinks came first - in huge glasses. The dish was a quite big serving of very, very tasty pork with Semmelknödel and Sauerkraut. My buddy had a big serving as well and enjoyed it quite a bit too. Staff was friendly and without a smile, which is quite normal, and they were quick too. Would go there again to get my fill of Baverian food :)
