Patras-Grill in Herzogenrath

Habe heute Essen bestellt für 17 Uhr die Lieferung kam über eine halbe zu spät . Nach einer telefonischen Rücksprache wurde mir nur mitgeteilt das der Fahrer unterwegs sei . Also kundenorientiert geht anders , wenn ich Essen zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt bestelle hätte ich auch gerne eine pünktliche Lieferung . Das Essen war lecker aber durch die verspätete Lieferung nur 3 Sterne

Ich habe dort schon mehrmals Essen/Pitabrot geholt und es war immer lecker und preiswert. Die Angestellten waren auch jedes Mal sehr freundlich.

Ich hatte ein köstliches Essen! Leckerer Gyros-Salat mit Feta, Oliven und grünen Paprika in einer köstlichen Soße 👌👌👌

Wir waren hier das 1x Essen da wir auf Facebook schöne Angebote - große Platten /guter Preis gesehen hatten. Ein gemütlich heimelig eingerichtetes kleines Lokal. Sehr sauber. Hat mir gut gefallen. Tisch hatten wir Vorbestellt. Freundliche Bedienung. Wir hatten die Spartaplatte für 2 Personen. Salat und Fritten incl 59.90€. Da ich diese Platte vorher bei Facebook gesehen hatte, sollte die es sein. Es wurde aber nicht so wie ich gesehen hatte eine große Platte serviert, sondern alles auf Einzelteller. Ansonsten war es so wie beschrieben. Das Essen war sehr lecker und top gewürzt - was ich persönlich richtig klasse finde, da ich nicht nachwürzen möchte-. Man musste schon gut drücken um alles aufzubekommen. Preis fand ich persönlich für die Platte etwas teuer. Aber es gibt viele andere preislich gute Gerichte. Auf's Essen haben wir nicht lange warten müssen. Es hat sich gelohnt das Lokal auszuprobieren. Mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal.

Ich habe heute zum ersten Mal hier Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Ich war überrascht; es ist ein kleines Restaurant, aber mir fiel besonders auf, wie sauber es dort war und wie freundlich die Mitarbeiter waren! Das Essen war köstlich, und die Portionen waren riesig! Vor allem das Gyros war sehr zart und schmackhaft, nicht trocken wie anderswo! Alles in allem kann ich Patras Grill wärmstens empfehlen; egal ob zum Mitnehmen oder vor Ort essen!

Leider eine totale Enttäuschung, besonders da die guten Online-Bewertungen viel mehr versprochen haben. • Gyros: War zwar knusprig, aber geschmacklich absolut fad – da fehlt jede Würze. Die Konkurrenz in der Umgebung bekommt das deutlich besser hin. • Pizza: Ein absoluter Reinfall. Die Pizza ist definitiv nicht selbstgemacht, sondern ein industrielles Fertigprodukt. Der Boden hat sogar noch das typische Punktmuster der Fabrik-Backbleche auf der Unterseite. • Soße: Statt einer vernünftigen Tomatensoße schmeckt es eher nach billigem, purerem Tomatenmark, was den Gesamteindruck noch verschlimmert. Wir haben uns hier mehr erhofft und werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen. Keine Empfehlung!

Das Essen war köstlich, das Personal freundlich.

Gerade zum letzten Mal bestellt, 2 verschiedene Pommes und die Soße vergessen. Manches Fleisch vom Gyros schwarz manches rosa Oder weiß.

Ich warte 2 Stunden auf den Lieferdienst für ein Produkt das nicht verfügbar ist. Wenn keine Bratwurst da ist eine eine Bratrolle als Currywurst zu verkaufen. Geht man so mit Kunden um. Ruft bitte an und sagt sowas, wer soll denn so satt werden ?

Essen super lecker, sehr nettes Team und das Gyros wirklich unglaublich frisch. Kann das Restaurant jedem empfehlen den Qualität und Gastfreundschaft wichtig ist. Komme immer wieder!

Köstliches griechisches Essen, freundlicher Service.

Das Essen war köstlich und die Bedienung freundlich. Die Wartezeit war allerdings recht lang, besonders wenn man hungrig ist. Wir haben 50 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet, obwohl nur eine Familie da war, es war also nicht viel los. Sie bieten auch einen Lieferservice an, und die Lieferanten kamen und gingen ständig. Meiner Meinung nach ist dieses Grillhaus eher auf Lieferservice als auf Restaurantbesuche ausgerichtet, daher die lange Wartezeit.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen und guter Service.

Wir haben hier 2025 im Rahmen eines Sozialangebots gegessen. Das Essen war von guter Qualität und die Portionen waren sehr großzügig. Wir saßen bei schönem Wetter draußen auf der Straße. Kostenlose Parkplätze befinden sich gleich um die Ecke.

Essen war sehr lecker. Jede Sorte Fleisch war perfekt zubereitet. Griechischer Salat war top. Gyros nicht zu fettig. Gerne wieder.

The quality has deteriorated significantly. I would advise against ordering from them; I've waited ages several times, the portions are tiny, and the fries are cold and soggy. It's unacceptable for the high price. I've never eaten there, so I can't comment on that...

Everything looked and tasted heavenly, including the warm chocolate lava cake with ice cream and strawberry sauce, mmmm. 2 years ago; Amazing Fantastic Exceeding the mark of very good. Both in terms of hygiene; Disinfecting the toilet seat and separate hand sanitizer. Everything 100% more than perfect. Getting fresh sauce to take home in the to-go bag automatically; how sweet. Definitely worth a visit again and again. Friendly, hardworking people.

Excellent service, delicious food, reasonable prices. Portions are huge, especially compared to Dutch standards 😅 So don't order too many appetizers (although they are also very tasty).

Don't let yourself fooled by the location, the food was amazingly good. Even my Greek friend said that it's one of the best gyros he had outside Greece The menu is not 100% Greek traditional but that doesn't make it bad . P.S. I'm writing this while eating the leftovers from yesterday stuffed in a home-made durum and it still tastes very good

I heard positive things about the Patras Grill in Herzogenrath from my brother. He'd also heard several times that the snack bar was supposed to be good. So we both went there (for the first time). We were really impressed. By the way, that was a week ago. And I'm still writing a review, it speaks for itself. I can only recommend the snack bar to anyone who likes gyros and isn't keen on Ali's meat skewer doner.

Ordered from Patras today, paid a total of €38.40. I ordered a Patras dish that was on special offer, reduced from €20 to €15. I understand why now, because the price I got for that was absolutely ridiculous. So, no more for me. Too bad.

Horrible. You can forget about the delivery service (via Lieferando). That's probably it, Patras. If you can't do delivery, you shouldn't. Today was by far the worst delivery ever. Delivery time was almost two hours, more than twice as long as advertised, and the food was old and cold by then. Soft, soggy fries, a tiny amount of hard meat, and thick chunks of onion. They call it a Patras platter there. I threw it away. I call it garbage. What ever happened to Patras? No star.

No, the meat skewers were 1x1 cm squares, warmed over, and therefore hard. The rice was unsalted, and each bowl of rice came with 2 tablespoons of sauce. A shame for the money.

Very disappointing! We ordered food, but it wasn't delivered at first. The first time we called, communication was very difficult, but we were assured the food was on its way. After a long wait, we still hadn't received it – and when we called again, we discovered the restaurant had been closed for over 30 minutes! The money is gone, no food, no response – absolutely unprofessional. Never again! Zero stars!

Had to wait almost 2 hours for lukewarm to cold food. I think fries were old fries that had been heated up in the microwave. The gyros were still somewhat edible, but the quality of the gyros was much, much better other times. The portions were very small for the amount you pay.

Service absolutely bad! The two of us were there on a Friday around 3:30 p.m. and the shop was empty. We waited a really long time for 2 pita, even though only one other table was occupied after us. We then paid €12.20 too much because the tables were swapped. There were only two tables occupied in total... Makes you wonder how this can happen? After we checked in detail at home how much we had to pay, we called and were told it was ONLY €6-7. No, it was €12.20! When we wanted to collect the money, we were initially only given €10. A mistake can happen sometimes, but that's a joke and no longer a mistake. Thank you very much, we will not be entering this store again!

In Herzogenrath you are not exactly spoiled when it comes to restaurants and cafés. Eating a gyro here is always a good decision. The delivery took a relatively long time and the information in the app was incorrect regarding the delivery time.

Sie war einfach lecker, der Preis super und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das kann ich einfach nur empfehlen, auch für Familien - das Essen ist erschwinglich und wirklich köstlich und die Atmosphäre stimmt. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

I visited Herzogenrath from Düsseldorf today and became aware of this shop. It was really incredibly good. As soon as you walk in you see a really well designed room, everything is clean and incredibly decorative, even decorated to match the season (Christmas). It immediately invites you to have a cozy meal here. I received a very friendly and warm welcome from the boss, asked for a mixed grill plate and got a huge surprise. A full pan with all different types of meat, where everything at the table was even sizzling, with fries, salad, tzatziki. It doesn't get any fresher. Really everything I ate was incredibly tasty and went well together. Regarding the gyros, I can say that this was one of the best gyros that I have ever eaten and I have already been through many stores. It was crispy and super seasoned, no limp bits of fat, so it was perfect. I would order this again and again. The portion was more than enough and the price was completely reasonable. The boss is very committed and interested in his customers, he responds to them and makes sure that everything is perfect, he is open and friendly towards everyone. The whole team at the store (I saw probably 6 or 7 people) were really very friendly and you immediately got into a nice conversation with many of them, which made me very happy because it was my first time here. I can only recommend everyone to eat here if you are in the area. It's even worth coming here from a little further away. I would come here again on a tour of the area. I actually wanted to avoid this review because this isn't a restaurant that I'll usually see again. However, given the circumstances, I can no longer avoid it. In general, I am happy to pay higher prices for corresponding quality. However, the prices here are generally quite high, which of course increases my expectations for food. The first time I got gyros out of necessity as my actual gyros friend was on holiday, unfortunately that was the first disappointment. Portion is incredibly small and unfortunately the meat is not good either. The artificial over-seasoning of the meat didn't help ensure that the quality was sufficient for me. The consistency was also very questionable. The second time I went to the restaurant was because friends of mine chose exactly this restaurant. I thought to myself, I don't want to be a spoilsport, I knew I definitely wasn't ordering gyros and I thought I'd try the grill plate. Unfortunately not good either. The fries were soggy and unfortunately the meat was just okay. The price has to be right but so too does the quality. And with the prices already significantly increased, I simply expect more. Furthermore, the waiting time was quite long. I also don't know if we were forgotten in the meantime, as orders seemed to be coming out endlessly. Maybe you should just take the customer's criticism to heart and not insist that you are an imposed 5 star restaurant. However, the staff here was very friendly.

Diarrhea and stomach problems every time after eating. Delivery is catastrophically stated as 1 hour plus, despite still not being there after 2 hours. If you ask, you will only be complained about and you should be patient.
