the photos from the menu do not match the dishes we ordered, the khinkali were not fresh and looked bad, the service was also not very good. Overall, I do not recommend this place If you want really enjoy Georgian cuisine

If you are looking for a Georgian restaurant in the vicinity of Leipzig, Halle, Dresden, you will not find a better one. The environment, the dishes and the prices are acceptable, and you will properly warm up the guests to Georgian cuisine. It is better to reserve seats in advance. Parking is available in front if you are lucky.

The visit to the restaurant was my first time eating Georgian food. The menu has a large selection of delicious dishes, which are very hearty but incredibly well made. Unfortunately I didn't make it to the desserts, but I'll try them on the next visit. The service staff was very nice and helpful. I can only recommend the restaurant!

Decent food, but unfortunately without a frame of reference, hard to judge better. Good portions though and satisfying. A bit slow service, but friendly. Prices on the higher end, but it's everywhere these days, and worth giving it a try nonetheless.

We were in Georgia at the beginning of May and were already missing the food, so we decided to eat at Gemrieli Restaurant. And: it was very tasty and we didn't notice any differences to the local Georgian cuisine. We even found the Khinkali a little better than in Tbilisi. It was very delicious. The four of us paid 135€ with 2 main courses, 4 khinkali, 1 salad, 1 khachapuri, 2 bottles of white wine and 4 chacha. I agree on that. The service was very nice and competent. It was very busy on Saturday evening. I made a reservation online 2 weeks in advance, which worked well. Thanks for the evening! The only negative: the pork in the Ojakhuri wasn't the best, it was a bit tough.

The name of the Georgian restaurant is probably wrong. It is better to call it Russian-Ukrainian!!! Aggressive service staff.. and the owner is a tactless woman who, upon receiving a remark, instead of taking care of improving the service, turns to aggression and insults the guests!! Kill me, you immigrants who miss Georgia like me, there is nothing Georgian 🥹

There is Russian, Ukrainian environment, food, zero service, zero, I do not recommend it👎.

Since I have family in Georgia, I am relatively familiar with Georgian cuisine. Before I placed my order, I heard that the waitress was talking to her colleague in Russian, so I ordered in Russian. But when I did that, the waitress became extremely rude and immediately switched to German, as if I had personally attacked her. She also irritably corrected my correct Georgian pronunciation from the courts and translated it into German. I felt rather uncomfortable with such service. However, the food was delicious.

We were with a boyfriend on Saturday evening. We waited for the order for an hour and a half! As a result, we were given an order, but not all of it. Lyulya kebab, they just didn't make it, because of the large number of orders and a broken grill. I would recommend recruiting more employees, as there is demand, but not to serve everyone who wants to do it efficiently. For Saturday evening, I suggest going to another place.

Everything was perfect! The taste of the food over here let me think back of the food in Georgia. Take the Khinkhali and the Skhmeruli + the Saperavi hauswein & Chacha and you will have a really complete good night! It was our first time eating in a Georgian restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Very friendly and courteous service in a cozy and very clean atmosphere. The food was very good and you really can't complain about that... The service was friendly but inattentive, dirty glasses had been collecting on the counter for more than 2 hours... no one came to the table to ask if you wanted something else to drink you had to go to the bar… Food great, service unfortunately not.

Last night we were at Gemrieli with 4 people. Everything was ordered at once - 4 drinks, 3 x starters and 4 x main courses with 2 side dishes (fries & Georgian fried potatoes). The drinks came after 30 minutes, the starters after 60 minutes. We were able to accept the very long waiting time at the time because the restaurant was relatively full. The waitress constantly ran (she really ran) around the restaurant throughout our stay and was visibly overwhelmed. 2 main courses arrived after 90 minutes - unfortunately without the side dishes ordered! After 10 minutes I asked the bar attendant about the side dishes, her response was she asks. The fried potatoes were then brought to the table. Shortly afterwards the second main course came but the second side dish of fries was still missing. We asked at the bar again and the fries came, but no apology - my main course was already cold at the time because I had to wait 15 minutes for the side dish and ask twice! We ate and our 4th order was a long time coming. During the entire stay, the waitress didn't come to our table once to take any additional drink orders. Everyone was finished except for our fourth person at the table. We went back to the bar and asked for the bill, saying that a main course we had ordered was missing and that it would be taken off the bill. Shortly afterwards the lady from the bar came and explained the lack of the last main course by saying that our table was too small! Absolutely cheeky to argue with such an “apology” after all the questions and problems. When I asked There was NO response to any concessions regarding the price or wanting to give something on the house. The food tasted very good, but of course it wasn't particularly nice for us to eat, while a hungry person has to stay at the table! We have never experienced anything like this, we were stunned and absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!

Interesting and good food. Variety from other cuisines. Usually with garlic too. The restaurant has a special charm thanks to the wood-panelled walls and the wooden columns in the room.

I had dinner at Gemrieli with my family a few days ago. Everyone thought it was great! The interior is quaint and rustic, the outside seating is quiet and beautiful to look at. The service was friendly & polite. The food itself was very tasty. The store was full, so there were longer waiting times. But that's to be expected :) we'd love to come back.

Our family enjoyed the food excellently. The number 1 "Pchali Mix" was also our number 1. The meat skewers as the main course were also very well seasoned and grilled. I can't compare the prices. I've never had Georgian food. Admittedly it's not cheap but it was worth it to us. We'll definitely come back again.

The place is good, I definitely recommend visiting it! There are Russian-speaking waiters, which is a big plus. Very pleasant and unobtrusive Georgian music sounds in the background. Wine, God, what a delicious wine, you can come and sit just for it))) and so, only one thing upset me a little, I ordered trout fish (it turned out to be rotten)(((but I have no luck with this fish in any cafe/restaurant, everywhere they probably don’t know how to store it and it quickly disappears. But, I I didn’t pay for it, they allowed me))) And so, the place is definitely beautiful, family-friendly, sincere, the only thing I could do is watch real Georgian dances and listen to live songs (I think then there would definitely be no end to visitors))))) I sincerely wish you prosperity, many visitors and only success! Thank you)))

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the food. All dishes were over-seasoned with too much garlic and coriander. Due to the large amount of coriander, I would also question the authenticity of the food. Unfortunately one of our main courses arrived 30 minutes late and the intermediate courses were served after the main courses. To be clear: 3 out of 4 main courses came after an hour (which is acceptable, but still long), the fourth came after 90 minutes, which is clearly too long. The whole thing ended up being really expensive (example: €24 for a yeast dough in the shape of a pizza topped with minced meat and a layer of yeast dough on top), so unfortunately I can't make a recommendation here. Therefore the price-performance ratio is absolutely out of the question. Addendum to the owner's answer: there was nothing on the menu about garlic and coriander. It's not about the fact that the food is heavily seasoned, it's about the fact that ALL of our main courses tasted exactly the same, like garlic and coriander. There was so much garlic in the starters that you could hardly taste any of the actual vegetables. Even if this was supposed to be authentic, everything was monotonous. Therefore, in terms of taste, I cannot make any recommendations for the German palate.

We had a wonderful experience at the Georgian restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The selection of Georgian dishes was impressive and every dish we ordered was deliciously prepared and authentic. We were particularly impressed by the variety of entrees and unique flavor combinations we were offered. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and the presentation of the dishes was attractive. We will definitely come back to enjoy more of Georgian cuisine and recommend this charming restaurant.

Today was our first time at the restaurant. Very nice staff, especially the girl administrator. All the dishes were at the highest level, it was impossible to stop eating - so delicious! The kebabs are the most delicious I've eaten in the city. I think I will definitely come again

Very nice, authentic place. I really liked the food and ordered all three khachapuri. It's simply amazing. The waiters are friendly. We were there on a Sunday, came in for lunch around 3 p.m., didn’t make a reservation, and we were very lucky to have a table. In general, you need to reserve a table; everything was booked and reserved for the evening. We will definitely visit again when we are in Leipzig. I recommend! Good luck and prosperity to this restaurant! Yes, also, there is Georgian music in the background, it’s very nice that it’s not loud, you can talk. And the music is good and nice, it’s not loud. Had Georgian food for the first time. The taste was very tasty, even if you have to be careful with some dishes. E.g. The cream sauce is cold, which is intended and is on the menu in Georgian. We didn't know, but it still tasted good. Maybe not everyone will like it. However, Georgian water is absolutely not recommended, as one might think it has been chlorinated. Of course, the restaurant itself is of no use and is a matter of taste. Khinkali and veal were very tasty.

We were in the restaurant for the first time. I had the oval bread filled with cheese and egg. It was outstanding. My husband had chicken with garlic sauce. His chicken was a little greasy, meaning the skin was a little greasy and not as crispy as we are used to. But the taste was good. The cuisine is just different, you have to get involved. The service was very pleasant and friendly. We'll definitely go there again.

Incredibly delicious food, without exception from starter to dessert. The waiter was so friendly. The restaurant was completely full, so we made sure we were forgotten every now and then - but that seems to happen sometimes too. It's easy to draw attention to yourself and then people respond in a very friendly manner, but that can probably be improved. Otherwise everything is great, it is also very comfortable. Especially when we better reserve.

We came without a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the waitress. The rooms look very classic and pleasant. After we ordered the food, however, came the big disappointment. The records we received did not correspond at all to what was posted on the internet (see photos). There were no walnuts in the pkhali, so it tasted like nothing. The main course was completely unpeppered and unsalted and instead of a sauce, the chicken (with skin and cartilage) was simply served on the table in cream (with a few leaves of coriander and pomegranate). Compared to other Georgian restaurants, it was really a disaster - and the same price. Of course, we refrained from tipping and would not recommend this shop to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic and high-quality Georgian cuisine. The only thing that was really edible was kchachapuri (for €18). Overall a very disappointing evening.

A nice evening with friends. The waiter also very kindly explained to us how to eat classic Georgian food. The food was delicious and we shared a lot. Then there was even authentic Georgian music.

Luckily we had reservations! Went to Gemrieli on a Saturday and it was very well attended! The food was amazing and extremely plentiful! Price-performance ratio is really great! A Georgian band also played live music, which may seem a bit strange for European tastes, but if you want it authentic, you'll get your money's worth at Gemrieli! We'd love to come back!

Leider wurden wir enttäuscht, das Restaurant ist eigentlich sehr schön und es herrscht auch eine angenehme Atmosphäre, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist aber absolut nicht gegeben. Die Speisen sind schlicht ohne jede Raffinesse Portionen eher klein zu Preisen wo man eher mit wesentlich mehr rechnen dürfte. Am Ende gab es noch zu wenig WechselGeld ca 20€ wurden einfach vergessen. Eine Entschuldigung blieb aus kein Espresso oder ähnliches passiert einfach ist ja kein Problem.

Nichts Besonderes. Das Essen ist okay, aber mehr nicht, hat mich nich vom Hocker gerissen. Die Bedienung war ziemlich unaufmerksam (v.a. einer der zwei Herren, die unseren Tisch bedienten). Ambiente geht so, ab schon schönere Lokale gesehen. Laut, wenn es voll ist. Relativ hohe Preise, Inflation hin oder her.

I love this place. I grew up with Georgian food, and having a restaurant like this in town is very important for me. I have been 6 or 7 times, and the food was amazing every time. All the things we've tried there tasted amazing. The only complaint from me: if I am paying you 18 [!] euros for 5 pieces of pork shashlik, a couple of pieces of potato would be nice...

Ich liebe georgisches Essen, daher konnte man eigentlich nicht so viel falsch machen. Aber wir bekamen alle Speisen gleichzeitig bis auf Khinkali. Darauf warteten wir mit Sicherheit über eine halbe Stunde. Als ich den Kellner darauf ansprach und fragte, ob sie es vergessen hätten, verneinte er. Und 5 min später waren sie auf dem Tisch. So drängt sich der Verdacht, es wurde doch vergessen. Es erfolgte auch keine Entschuldigung. Ansonsten war es ganz lecker, aber wir würden wohl nicht nochmal kommen.

Super! Wir waren als Paar am letzten Samstag hier (zum ersten Mal georgisch) Essen. Sehr schönes Ambiente, sehr leckeres Essen, insgesamt sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Sehr sehr gern wieder. Ein klitzekleiner Wunsch, schön wäre, wenn das Personal ein wenig zu der doch in D noch relativ unbekannten Küche erzählen könnte. Danke für den angenehmen Abend, wir waren dann doch 3,5h da.

Wir waren zum ersten mal dort und wurden auch nicht enttäuscht. Das essen war hervorragend zubereitet.

Sehr zu empfehlendes Restaurant. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gemütlich gestaltet,nicht zu aufdringlich hell 😀 - für mich perfekt. Wer noch nie georgisch gegessen hat, sollte sich vorher ein wenig belesen, da einige sehr klein klingende Speisen sich als sehr sättigend heraus stellten. 😁 Alles in Allem waren wir sehr zufrieden , werden wieder kommen 😎

Все хорошо но что то последний визит мой меня не обрадовал мясо ужасное было в шашлыке или вы его передержали в морозилке или она пропадала и вы решили много маринада добавить и подать людям с девизом НЕ УЗНАЮТ, хинкали тоже не обрадовали, а вот хачапури у вас шикарное даже скажу лучше в Лейпциге. Скоро приеду к вам ещё раз я в надежде что у вас будут изменения в еде что я описал.

Ich hatte vorerst ein wenig Angst als Vegetarierin hier nichts zu finden, wurde aber super positiv überrascht. Besonders der Pchali Mix hat mich umgehauen. Man hat wirklich die Frische der Zutaten geschmeckt und auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat meiner Meinung nach gepasst. Zur Authentizität kann ich persönlich nichts sagen, aber russische Freunde meinerseits waren auch sehr überzeugt vom Essen. Man musste teils etwas länger auf das Essen warten, da es wirklich gut besucht war (Reservieren lohnt sich), aber das hat nicht wirklich gestört. 10/10, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Abbiamo preso una paella per 2 persone, buonissima. Bel locale. Staff gentilissimo e cordiale, un saluto speciale al cuoco di origini italiane. Prezzi nella norma.

Restaurant à la décoration un peu surannées dans le quartier de Leipzig. Côté cuisine, c’est assez inégal. Un filet de bacalhau bien cuit, goûteux et accompagné d’un riz parfumé. Mais par contre, la paella (mixte) est franchement moyenne, le riz est trop cuit, les ailes de poulet étaient petites et peu goûteuses et globalement on ne garde pas une bonne impression de ce plat. Service agréable.

Das Essen ist Top, aber der Service lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben hier sehr leckerer und authentische Tapas gegessen. Pulpo a la Gallega Alioli von Pan Albondigas Patatas Bravas Alles war von sehr guter Qualität und bisher die besten Tapas, die ich in Leipzig gegessen habe. Die Preise sind auch völlig in Ordnung dafür. Leider war der Service nicht gut. Man hatte nicht das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Die Bedienung war sehr wortkarg und wenig zuvorkommend.

Generell war der zuvorkommende, kleine Gruß aus der Küche nett gemeint. Die Tapas ok, jedoch im Leipziger Vergleich etwas teuerer. Doch das beim „guten Spanier“ das Alioli (ohne Brot) nachordern 3,00€ kostet -unverschämt. Auf die Frage hin weshalb dies in der Rechnung extra aufgeführt wird, folgende Antwort vom Service: „das Brot sei eine Zusatzgabe des Hauses” - trotz der Karte „alioli con pan“- etwas lächerlich? Weshalb an einem Freitagabend um 22:00 bei laufendem Restaurantbetrieb dann der Staubsauger angeworfen und die Küche lautstark gereinigt wird, ist auch sehr fraglich... gutes Bestehen!

Dieses Restaurant hat weit mehr als 5 Sterne verdient! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Das Essen war echt super lecker !!! Echt ein Gaumenschmaus ! Wir waren zu dritt dar und haben uns das Restaurant ausgesucht ! Der Hinterhof ist wirklich super gemütlich! Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln! Das Patio del Sol ist ein nettes kleines spanisches Restaurant in Plagwitz. Es gibt leckere originale spanische Tapas, gute preisgerechte Paella und leckere spanische Weine und Biere. Wir saßen in dem schönen Innenhof und hatten eine freundliche Bedienung. Einziges kleines Manko sind fehlende vegetarische Hauptspeisen und sowohl Tapas sowie im Besonderen Salate sind für ihre Größe zu teuer.

Wir besuchen seit Jahren regelmäßig als Paar, aber auch mit unterschiedlichen Freunden, auch mit Kollegen, das Restaurant Patio del Sol an der Weißenfelser Str. in Leipzig. Trotz der unzähligen Male, die wir dort gegessen haben, war jedes Mal großartig; was sonst anderswo nicht immer so selbstverständlich ist. Ein ganz besonderer Höhepunkt war es am Sa. den 03.08.19 als wir dort eine „Paella mixta“ mit Freunden gegessen haben, eine Art Paella, die ich selbst seit über vierzig Jahren zubereite, sie war bei Patio del Sol die beste, die ich – inklusive in Spanien – gegessen haben. Das betrifft sowohl die Qualität als auch die großzügigen Inhalte. Vorher hatten wir Tapas, die waren alle köstlich, ganz besonders la “Carne de Toro” Calamares a la andaluza con aioli Gambas al ajillo Chorizo al vino tinto Carne de Toro al vino tinto Alles begleitet mit einer Flasche des wunderbaren Rotwein“ Coto de Imaz Hier stimmt alles, nach wie vor das Preisleistungsverhältnis und die Qualitätsbeständigkeit. Ein goßen Lon an den Chef und an den Koch sowie an das freundliche Personal. Schön wäre es, wenn auf der Home Page von Patio del Sol mehr Bilder von den Speisen gäbe. Ich war bereits zum wiederholten Male im Patio del Sol, es ist inzwischen mein Lieblingsspanier in der Stadt. Die historischen Räume des Restaurants sind sehr gemütlich und toll erhalten / restauriert worden. Das Essen (Tapas) und die Weine haben bisher immer hervorragend geschmeckt, besonders die frische, selbstgemachte Alloli ist ein Traum. Der Service ist gut, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Rundum ein schöner Abend und ein Restaurant, welches ich nur empfehlen kann.

Die Location ist toll, alleine deswegen sollte man mal hier gewesen sein. Die Weine und das Bier (es gibt spanisches Weizen!) saren auch top. Thema Tapas: nicht schlecht, haben wir aber alles schon mal besser gegessen. Dabei sind sie nicht schlecht, nur eben nicht toll. Wobei wir aber auch nciht wirklich sagen können, woran das lag. Aber eben nicht das Geschmackserlebniss, das Tapas brauchen. Ein Biss und geil...Vielelicht lag es aber auch an uns...von daher werden wir es auf jeden Fall noch mal testen und ich werde berichten. Das sollte niemanden abhalten es selbst zu probiere, schon wegen des Ambientes undde Weizenbiers :-))

Das ist die mit Abstand beste Paella die ich in meinen 24 Jahren Leben gegessen habe, und dabei war ich schon so ziemlich überall wo Spanisch gesprochen wird :D die Bedienung ist unfassbar zuvorkommend, schnell, nett und professionell. Die Weinempfehlung war auf den Punkt genau fantastisch. Das Lokal ist elegant eingerichtet und wir haben etwas über die denkmalgeschützten Räumlichkeiten erfahren die im 19. JH gebaut wurden. Die wandbemalungen sind Original restauriert und atemberaubend wenn man sie sich genauer ansieht. Wir waren sehr glücklich - kann ich für alles empfehlen - romantischer Abend zu zweit, betriebliches Essen oder Familienfeier. Preis/Leistung auch super. Wir kommen wieder:)

Mit gesamt 8 Personen hatten wir uns für den Einklang in die Silvesternacht für das Patio del Sol entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Bei der Reservierung gab es im Nachgang noch eine Änderung und man versuchte sehr engagiert für uns alles möglich zu machen. Vom Empfang, über den Service bis zu diesem tollen Essen - großartig! Das sehr ansprechendes Ambiente, die authentische Küche mit einigen Spezialität en sorgten für einen wirklich schönen Abend. Absolut empfehlenswert: die Schweinebäckchen und die frittierte Milch! Aber auch die Tapas, die Salate und Fischgerichte waren einfach wunderbar! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen & vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

Ein sehr schönes und uriges Restaurant in einem recht alten Gebäude mit romantischem Ambiente. Wenn man in die Straße einbiegt, in der sich das Restaurant befindet, erwartet man zunächst nicht ein so schönes Restaurant. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam. =) Obwohl weder der Inhaber noch die Bedienungen spanischer Herkunft sind, waren die Tapas sehr authentisch und köstlich.

Sehr freundliches Personal und die Speisen sind top. Gut gewürzt. Die Tapas machen satt. Wir hätten zu zweit 6 Tapas und schafften unsere Hauptspeise nicht. Alles rund und auf jedem Fall wieder ein Besuch wert.👍
