Pasta Factory in Berlin

A nice little Italian restaurant that's still run by an Italian couple with love and care. Unfortunately, this results in incredibly long waits. We had to wait over an hour and 20 minutes for our main course. However, the service was good, gave us free drinks, and apologized profusely for the inconvenience. Regarding the Cabonara, it should be mentioned that there were too many bacon bits and they were far too dry, which is very typical for Italy. I would have preferred finer bacon and more sauce. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a relaxed meal, but the staff were still there with heart and passion ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed our dinner at Pasta Factory a lot and I can only recommend. Before I get to the food I want to highlight the very cozy ambience. The place has a vibe of elevated Italian cuisine in a very simple local environment. Just the place you would want to come back again and again to try out all the variety of the delicious pastas. Which in our case were impeccable and left us looking forward for the next visit. The fresh ingredients, outstanding variety, the friendly service, everything was up to a standard. 10/10.

We go here regularly, it is simply delicious with a large selection of different pasta dishes. ❤️ The tiramisu is also super delicious! There's even pistachio tiramisu too!

According to the internet they open at 5 p.m., if you enter the restaurant at 5:03 p.m. you are sent out again in sub-zero temperatures and told that they won't open for 10 minutes.

Great food, extremely friendly and skilled chef. Great italian wines and tiramisu. That night we had a bad service experience with a seasonal co-worker, But beside that highly recommended.

The food is very tasty and there is a good selection. Unfortunately very unfriendly, very bad service.

The pasta tastes really wonderful and the portions were filling. We had carbonara and salsicia sage. The red wine was also very tasty. The service was perfect and friendly. It's best to make a reservation for a weekend evening. We sat close to the entrance. The kitchen is very stuffy there. But that wasn't a problem either, you can open the door every now and then to ventilate.

We drank something and our friend ate there, we sat down for dinner for almost twenty minutes, we were about to get up anyway, but the worker lady suddenly came and said loudly you can’t sit without eating something, she said: “You can go without paying for the food now”. She was so rude and disrespectful that other tables were also shocked, she expelled us from the place. I definitely don’t recommend you to go there, and honestly it was an empty place anyway, there were 6 tables, and just two of them were occupied, a place that expelling their customers… and there was no misunderstanding.

The business owner was very rude, she definitely doesn't know how to talk to customers and they post fake comments, I definitely don't recommend this place, it's a big disappointment.

Good pasta but we asked for some extra Parmesan and they were not happy about it. When the bill came we realised that they charged us an espresso shot (2 euros) and they said it was for the extra parmesan we requested 😂😂

The food is bomb! Noodles are cooked to perfection. The truffle pesto tasted great. Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately the service was bad, the workers don’t really understand English or German and they were unfriendly as if they don't feel happy working there... On top of that I got a dirty fork and pasta with Burrata tasted like nothing somehow, the sauce was not good, the taste was not intense enough but the noodles were fresh which I liked.

Decent, the ingredients seem fine. The chef on the day oversalted the food, I know pancetta is salty. But you balance that out with the rest of the ingredients.

Honestly, one of the best places to eat pasta. As an Italian, it is sometimes difficult to find a place where you can eat pasta properly. Tiramisu, antipasti and pasta were really good. Grazie mille per la cena ✨

Excellent choice of pasta, very well cooked as you can see directly in the restaurant room. My “Cacio e pepe” were perfect, the beef ragu pasta and alla carbonara (with guanciale) were also very good, the mozarella was fresh. The menu is focused and controlled. Red wine (Nero d'Avola) deserves to be chilled a little before tasting. Cross your fingers for space 🤞

This will probably be the best pasta I've had so far. Fresh pasta - very good, but the sauce fascinated me even more: really perfectly seasoned and incredibly well balanced flavors (or how to say it in a clever way). Absolutely excellent and a nice shop with great service! Highly recommended and really good for the prices (around €14-17 for a main course)! Can also recommend for special occasions. I think everyone will be happy!

Cooked with love at the highest level - great types of pasta, delicious textures, sophisticated sauces. We recommend! Service is also great and always friendly.

super cute pasta spot, freshly made pasta served very al denté! my friend got the carbonara and it was delicious but very thick and rich, so found it hard to finish. the shrimp lemon pasta was super fresh, highly recommend.

Incredibly delicious fresh pasta! Great ingredients, everything a la minute and al dente! From the starter to the main course to the dessert, it's simply incredibly delicious! And finally, original tiramisu (without cream!). We will definitely come back on our next trip to Berlin!

The pasta is homemade. Simple authentic Italian pasta which is delicious. Actually the carbonara was the best one I have ever tried. The service staff was friendly but looked to be a bit lost at times and there was delay in the serving of the food. The atmosphere was good but nothing super fancy (doesn’t have to be). Excellent place to visit that I would wholeheartedly recommend. Better to reserve for weekends because there seem to be some long queues pretty often.

Eine absolute Katastrophe. Das Essen war zufriedenstellend, aber der Umgang mit den Kunden ist eine reine Zumutung. Die Dame hinter dem Tresen, hat uns regelrecht angeschrien, weil wir, während unseren 3 stündigen Aufenthalt, ein einziges Mal aufgestanden sind, um eine Zigarette zu rauchen. „Wir seien anstrengend“ hieß es. Ich kann diesen Ort absolut nicht empfehlen. Gute Pasta gibt es in Berlin wie Sand am Meer. Definitiv keinen Besuch wert.

Great food, and good service but the atmosphere and smell in the restaurant was terrible.

I had passed by this place everyday and wanted to try it many times but it was impossible to just walk in. It's super full all the time so be sure to reserve a table. We ordered some pasta and also appetizers. As i was so hyped to visit it finally, i got a bit disappointed with the food, it could be the over anticipation. The handmade pasta quality was very good. But i would like to try more dishes as a benefit of the doubt.

Absolute empfehlung! Super authentischer und leckerer Laden. Das Ragout mit chili ist mega lecker, perfekte schärfe und der Parmesan ist auch extrem gut. Die Nudeln sind selbstgemacht und schmecken perfekt! Auf empfehlung des sehr freundlichen Personals haben wir auch ein Tiramisu gegessen. Es war eins der besten was wir je gegessen haben und die portionsgröße ist perfekt für einen Nachtisch.

Von vorne bis hinten ein toller Besuch! Das Restaurant ist eher klein und gemütlich, trotzdem kam das Essen relativ schnell auf den Tisch. Ind geschmeckt hat es wirklich klasse. Was man mit Nudeln nicht alles machen kann... Der Wein tat sein Übriges.

Really amazing Restaurant! The Pasta is sooo good. Went there two times just to get the same noodles again 'cause it's honestly kind of addicting. And pricing for those noodles is honestly really fair despite being on the upper cost. Also loved the server there, he provided very good service :) Pro Tip: Get the Tiramisu afterwards! The Pistachio one slaps!

This pasta place in Kreuzberg is a real gem! 💎 The homemade pasta and sauces are insanely good. I tried the arrabiata - so fresh and flavorful. The tiramisu was also made in-house and melted in my mouth. 🤤 The staff is super friendly too. I found this spot through Reddit and I'm so glad I tried it.

Bad service, good fresh pasta. We didn’t even get plates for our shared appetizers, cutlery was thrown onto our table, plates/glasses were never cleared so I just had to put them on another table. I noticed other tables received better service on all of those fronts for whatever reason which I suspect is based on who we were, the waitress just didn’t think we deserved the same treatment. The spicy carbonara was a bit salty and disappointing, but everyone generally loved their pasta.

Die Carbonara sind hier besonders herausragend. Die beste Carbonara welche ich je hatte. Die Carbonara in diesem Restaurant, ist nach wie vor wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Aber ich ziehe 3 Sterne ab, warum? Wegen dem Mann, welcher wohl der Chef-Kellner ist. Ich war 4 mal bis jetzt in diesem Restaurant, 3 mal war er anwesend. Die 3 mal an denen er mich bedient hatte haben mir meinen Restaurantbesuch so sehr verdorben, das ich dorthin erstmal nicht mehr zum essen gehen möchte, trotz der super leckeren Carbonara. Klar könntet jetzt der Leser dieser Rezession sich denken was will er den? Wegen einem Kellner nicht mehr in ein Restaurant gehen? Ja, ich bin mir seiner Art und Weiße einfach sehr unzufrieden. Darf ja jeder selbst entscheiden ob jemand Anstoß nimmt oder nicht. Warum gehe ich nicht mehr? Der Kellner ist meist alleine somit ist die Chance das er dich bedient eigentlich sehr groß. Er vergisst regelmäßig teile der Bestellung (von 3 mal dort Essen mit ihm als Bedienung, hat er 3 mal was vergessen, von Getränken bis hin zu mehreren Hauptgerichten). Zugegeben, er hat sich entschuldigt und Rabatt gegeben aber mich stört es einfach, dass er immer etwas vergisst. Der Kellner ist sehr nett, aber unheimlich unruhig. Wenn er an dir vorbeiläuft hat man immer das Gefühl er wäre spät dran und versucht noch die Ringbahn zu erwischen. Der nächste Punkt ist etwas was mich letztlich dazu bewegt hat meine Rezession abzuändern. Nicht mal in einer Imbissbude wird jemand mit Reservierung an einen Tisch gesetzt an dem nicht mal ansatzweise genug Platz ist. Hier in dem Fall mit Reservierung Tage vorher, wurden wir zu 6 an 2 kleine Bistro-Tisch gesetzt. An so einem Tisch sitzt man zu zweit. Danach war es bei mir erstmal vorbei mit diesem Laden. Ich möchte noch feststellen ich nehme es diesem Kellner nicht übel aber für mich ist es eben wirklich unpassend in ein Restaurant zu gehen bei Preisen von ca. 28 Euro Pro Person und so einen Service zu bekommen. Nachtrag: Nachdem der Inhaber, ich gehe davon aus es ist der Schlechte Kellner der hier antwortet, der die Rezensenten hier beleidigt, habe ich die Wertung auf 1 Stern herabgesetzt. Die Carbonara ist noch immer super aber der Service nicht. Da der Kellner sich dazu herablässt die Leute zu teils zu beleidigen in den Rezessionen frage ich mich was mit ihm nicht stimmt? Als Gastronom hat man die Kritik der Gäste zu akzeptieren und diese nicht zu beschimpfen. Dies sagt aber bereits alles über den Verfasser aus. Ich bin der Meinung ich habe meinen Kritikpunkt Sachlich vorgetragen ohne beleidigend zu werden oder unverschämt wie der Inhaber. Danke für ihre Aufmerksamkeit.
