Excellent in every way. I highly recommend it!

What a find! Delicious food, great service in a pretty leafy outdoor eating area. We had the crunchy and colourful salad in a delicious vinaigrette dressing. We shared the grilled chops and sea bream. Both dishes came with a generous plate of tasty side vegetables. Our wait staff was charming and upsold me to a delicious glass of wine. The entire meal was just what two jetlagged people needed. Thank you!

Excellent food and great service.

Went by chance because it was close to the Stadel museum, was surprised at how great it was. As a tourist was getting fed up with all the schnitzel, then had their delicious baby calamari dish… it was so good. The savory stuffing, I can’t help remembering… Staff was friendly as well. I’m just taking out one star from atmosphere because it was extremely hot that day and even in their shaded area, I felt kind of warm. It helped with me chugging down a whole large beer though

This evening we dined at the Parthenon and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The surf and turf platter, in particular, was simply delicious, truly captivating in its flavor and beautifully presented. However, the service was disappointing. During the meal, the service was rather halfhearted, but the real low point came when we paid: Apparently, our tip wasn't "sufficient" – in any case, we weren't even given a farewell afterwards. That was a real shame and left a bitter aftertaste. We live in Japan, where tipping is considered an insult because people there take pride in doing their work conscientiously and honorably – regardless of any extra bonus. In this sense, it's sad to see that these days, it's often not the choice of restaurant or appreciation for the cuisine that counts, but rather the amount of tipping. We spent over €220 – that should really speak for itself. Unfortunately, the latter impression overshadowed the evening.

Beautiful terrace and beautifully designed outdoor area. The mixed appetizer consisted of just various creams or spreads. That was a bit disappointing. The fish was well-cooked and plentiful. Side dishes were potatoes and vegetables, as always. A bit boring and uninspired. The side salad, however, was very good and large. Dessert was great and very tasty. The Greek coffee was top-notch. All in all, a typical Greek restaurant with good food, a nice atmosphere, and good service. You can't go wrong.

It was delicious, the atmosphere was good, everything was good. After looking around the art gallery, I went to the nearest one and it was an excellent choice.

This Greek restaurant was a real discovery for me. The menu is varied and well thought out - it's easy to find something to suit your taste, be it fish, meat or vegetarian dishes. I was especially pleasantly surprised by the harmony of flavors: everything is perfectly balanced in spices and sauces, without going overboard. The dishes are served fresh and beautifully decorated, everything looks appetizing and really tasty. The atmosphere in the establishment is cozy and conducive to a leisurely, pleasant dinner. I will definitely come back again - I want to try even more from this menu and just enjoy high-quality, solid cuisine.

Today I had the veal liver from the lunch menu. When I ordered, I asked about the side dishes, as they were only listed as general options. I was told baked potato or rice. The dish only came with vegetables. I asked the waiter, who wanted to know. In the end, there was no answer; just the bill with no discount, no apology, or anything else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

We went to the restaurant for the first time last night as it was recommended to us by friends. The food, the ambience and the service were really excellent! We mostly had fish, which was delicious, and the starters and desserts were also great. We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful experience in the Greek restaurant Parthenon Last Saturday I had the pleasure of dining at Parthenon Restaurant with my partner - and it was simply wonderful. I chose the Loup de Mer and it was an absolute dream: tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned - a taste experience that I won't soon forget. My partner tried the octopus and he was also completely impressed. The waiter's recommendation of the wine was a hit - it complemented the meal perfectly. The service? Simply outstanding! So attentive, friendly and warm - you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. An unforgettable evening with excellent food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for this great experience.

I can only rate the service. As a child, I dropped a water glass here and broke it, whereupon the waitress scolded me loudly. Since then my family has said we'll never go there again and we're not. I still remember how hard I cried and was afraid of the woman.

The staff was super friendly and attentive, a real highlight of the evening. The food was also really tasty, especially the octopus dishes – highly recommended! The calamari was a bit greasier, but still good. Perhaps a touch more spices would have intensified the taste of some dishes. The only small point of criticism was the noise in the restaurant. It was quite crowded and therefore a bit noisy, but that also speaks to how popular the place is. All in all a great experience – we would love to come back! ♥️

The food was very tasty and the lady who served us was very friendly. However, I have something to complain about and for that reason I will no longer visit this place. We ordered our food and ate it comfortably. After our meal we ordered our coffee. We had been sitting in the restaurant for exactly 2 hours and I hadn't finished my coffee when we were asked to pay because the next guests were already waiting. This is an outrage, especially since we ordered our coffee after dinner and didn't even finish it. We weren't told at the start that we would have to get up after 2 hours. We weren't the only ones asked to do this either. I expect appropriate service from a restaurant like this and it was anything but fine.

Very tasty food in a higher price range. For starters, tzatziki with olives and bread, very tasty and authentic. The gyros with chicken too. I had the fish duo of sea bass and sea bream. There was also a small portion of rice and vegetables. Unfortunately I discovered a hair in it. Still, the taste is very good so far.

Veal gyros were more of a kind of schnitzel and were quite tough and had lots of tendons, the potato chips were cold and no longer crispy. It was very disappointing.

Just off the Main River walk in Saxon area across the river… this area was spared from WW 2 bombing… nice architecture .We split a salmon filet with veggies and rice which was plentiful for two… Salmon was flavorful and cooked to perfection… house wine was also very good… highly recommend…

Not worthy of a Greek restaurant

The dining establishment, while aesthetically pleasing, failed to provide adequate service. After waiting for an unacceptable duration of 18 minutes without receiving any attention from the staff, we made the decision to depart the premises. The reason for this treatment remains unclear, and it is uncertain whether it was due to my race ( black) or another undisclosed factor. Notably, there was a complete absence of eye contact from the staff throughout the entire experience.

The restaurant looks good and is comfortable. The negative thing is the noise, it's difficult to talk with the friends close to you. The food taste very good, but the selection of greek food Is limited. Half of the menu is about German food.

Wir hatten für unseren Hochzeitstag einen Tisch reserviert. Reservierung war problemlos. Wir wurden persönlich an unseren Tisch gebracht und wurden auch sofort bedient. Wir bestellten eine Flasche Wasser und ich trank noch einen Aperol Spritz zum Einstieg. Zum Essen bestellten wir als Vorspeise einmal Oliven in Öl und einen Feta mit Tomaten, Öl und Oliven im Ofen gebacken. Dazu wurde frisches (noch warmes) Weißbrot serviert (ein Gedicht). Als Hauptspeise aßen wir den Seeteufel und das Zicklein im Ofen geschmort. Jeweils mit Beilagen (Kartoffeln aus dem Ofen und Gemüse) Beides hat hervorragend geschmeckt, das Zicklein war eine Sensation. Das Fleisch fiel vom Knochen, genau so wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. - Der Service war anfangs sehr aufmerksam, aber als dann nach ca. einer halben Stunde das Restaurant für einen Dienstag Abend für meine Begriffe sehr voll wurde, waren die Servicekräfte doch etwas überfordert. Das war zumindest unser Eindruck. Das war wohl der Grund, weshalb wir mehrmals auf uns aufmerksam machen mussten, um weitere Getränke zu bestellen oder bis der Tisch abgeräumt wurde. Dies soll nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt sein. Denn wir hatten das Gefühl, dass sie an diesem Abend selbst nicht mit so einem vollen Haus gerechnet haben (war wohl wegen der Platz 1 Bewertung in Frankfurt geht aus) und deswegen völlig überfordert waren. - Sei es drum, wir haben sehr gut gegessen und einen schönen Abend gehabt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder...

The service was good, the food was nice even though it was a bit salty (for me personally). However, since the restaurant is in the city center, it's a bit pricey for Mediterranean foods.

Have eaten here many times but I feel the quality has really suffered as of late...the Surf and Turf was poor quality, small cuts and overpriced. Perhaps just a bad day however so I'll visit again and adjust my review accordingly.

During my visit to the Greek restaurant Partheon in Frankfurt, I was particularly impressed by the quality of the fish dishes. The service was excellent and the staff very attentive. A special highlight is the terrace, which invites you to sit comfortably outside in summer. A great tip for anyone who wants to eat authentic Greek food in Frankfurt. Highly recommended!

The ambience was nice and everything was very clean and tidy. In my opinion, however, the prices are way too overpriced for this meal. Meat was average. Unfortunately fish wasn't that good. The side dishes included a spoonful of rice, two potatoes and a few vegetables. No salad. I find the prices questionable. I've definitely eaten cheaper and better Greek food.

I forgot to take a photo of the most delicious dish, because it looked so tasty and we couldn’t wait to taste it. However, the fried feta cheese on the photo is also really good! Definitely would recommend to try the Minced meat cutlet with feta cheese filling. It’s just shockingly good! This place is amazing and the service is especially great.

The best Greek in Frankfurt for decades

Grilled vegetables are great. Appetizers are successful. Grilled squid is very delicious. I ate the best sole fish I've ever eaten in my life here. A nice meal accompanied by a nice Turkish raki. The waiter was the same when I came here 10 years ago, I was very pleased to see him again. My only wish is that they expand their raki varieties a little.

There were five of us eating. Unfortunately the service was very slow and inattentive; You almost had to beg to get new drinks and the bill. The fish platter was a joke for this price...starters and main courses tasted good to the rest, but weren't a revelation either. No risk of repetition!

We welcomed with a nice plate of salad, it was good as I expected, but the main dish was too salty, I couldn’t understand the taste of chicken but salt! The prices were too high for this quality. I’m not sure if it’s worth it to try!

Today was our second visit to this restaurant... The first time, the ambience just seemed like a blue and white factory hall. A lot has happened, things are looking better. The only thing we noticed was the acoustics in the restaurant, it was fully booked today and you could no longer understand your own words. All the guests spoke even louder to one another in order to be understood. Despite the full tables, the service was still quick and friendly, although friendlier is always possible, but I don't come there for "entertainment", I just want to eat with friends. The food was surprisingly pretty good and fresh. It shouldn't be so easy to judge whether the prices are appropriate, as many factors go into the food, starting with the table linen... to the clean toilet with a changing table for the mothers. But I still have one criticism of the bill: if two main courses are to be served, one as a starter, and then it arrives smaller and without side dishes, I find the price questionable if it stays the same. And now to the guests with only one/two stars: it's not that bad here, because then they would put fast food restaurants on the same level as this restaurant.

Besides the fact that this is a favorite restaurant of Greek cuisine, I was lucky enough to have dinner on New Year's Eve. We were so glad to visit them again because our favorite waiters were working that night. It was the most pleasant experience of the evening! The energy and atmosphere are so pleasant. This was the first time we ordered fillet steak here; before that we had always eaten fish. We were so pleasantly surprised that we want to order again. It was so soft that it tasted like chateaubriand😄👍 Thank you for a pleasant evening. See you soon!

Restaurant in toller Lage, von innen sehr gemütlich und sauber , einladendes Ambiente, schöne Architektur der Räumlichkeiten . Man verweilt sehr gerne und fühlt sich Willkommen in diesem Restaurant. Es war an dem Abend gut besucht und alles reserviert. Trotz, dass wir keine Reservierung hatten, hat man sich um uns gekümmert und wir haben doch einen Tisch bekommen :) Servicekräfte waren stets aufmerksam und trotz viel Arbeit freundlich, waren schnell da, wenn wir unsere Wünsche geäußert haben . Das Essen war qualitativ ausgezeichnet, frisch, geschmacklich habe selten so gut in einem Restaurant gegessen...man hat hat gemerkt, dass es frisch und auf den Punkt zubereitet war. Insgesamt ist dieses Restaurant in Frankfurt nur zu empfehlen ❤

Teuere Speisekarten werden durchaus akzeptiert wenn die Qualität des Essens dies gerechtfertigt. Das war nicht der Fall, zu viel fett, zu Fade der Geschmack. Das war nicht das Hauptproblem. Nur bestimmte Gäste werden gut behandelt (Stammgäste ?) andere werden ignoriert oder mit Arroganz behandelt. Priviligierte Gäste werden schnell bedient und bekommen sogar for free ein Ouzo am Ende , andere müssen einfach bezahlen und zuschauen. Für uns keine echete Griechische Gastfreundschaft. Nie wieder.

Levrek ve somon ızgara harikaydı çok güzel suyunu kaybetmeden pişmişti lezzetliydi. Klasik Yunan salatası ve evyapımı patates yedik güzeldi. Hizmet çok iyi bizi komşu komşu diyerek ağarladı sevgili yunan komşumuz Michael 🙏🏼 tatlı olarak kadayıf yedik ama maalesef kötüydü. Bize uzo ve yunan kahvesi olan frappe ikram ettiler çok güzeldi. Bestes Griechische Restaurant wo ich bisher gegessen habe. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur jedem Empfehlen zu besuchen. Geschmacklich zu schlagen sehe ich als unmöglich an. Vielen Dank geht raus an das ganze Team und natürlich dem Chef. Sehr sympathisch und einfach menschlich. Danke

Hier wird nicht jeder bedient! Obwohl wir mit die ersten Gäste waren und ausdrücklich gefragt haben, ob ein Tisch für fünf! Personen noch frei ist, wurden wir an einen Tisch gesetzt und über 30 min nicht bedient. Während dessen füllten sich 10 Tische, die alle guten Service genoßen und zeitnah Bestellungen aufgenommen bekamen. Nachdem auch gesehene Handzeichen offen und mehrfach ignoriert wurden, sind wir wieder gegangen. Auch das hat niemand vom präsenten Service zum Anlass genommen, in Kommunikation zu treten. Für ein Restaurant, bei dem Hauptgerichte zwischen 21 und 33 Euro kosten und man sich für ein Heimatgefühl rühmt ein völlig indiskutables Verhalten.

Zum ersten Mal hier gelandet, da unser Stammgrieche in Sachsenhausen gerade in der Heimat in Urlaub weilt, und die Erfahrung, die wir hier machten, war sehr zwiespältig. Positiv: das (eher hochpreisige) Fischgericht war ausgezeichnet und die Atmosphäre im Außenbereich des Lokals, wo wir Platz fanden, sehr schön. Negativ: Der Service ließ ewig auf sich warten, ob zu Beginn, bis die Speisekarte kam; zum Ende, um die Rechnung ordern zu können, oder dazwischen, um eine Bestellung aufgeben zu können oder zu erleben, dass die leeren Teller mal abgeräumt werden. Das war aber nicht bei allen Tischen der Fall, einige wurden mit deutlich mehr Service und Aufmerksamkeit bedacht, und an ein paar Tischen fanden die Kellner auch Zeit, längere Unterhaltungen mit den (wahrscheinlich Stamm-) Gästen zu führen, während ein paar andere Tische in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft (eben auch unserer) keines Blickes gewürdigt wurden. Wo es dann mal schnell zuging im Service, war es widerum viel zu schnell: Vorspeise und Hauptgang wurden fast zeitgleich gebracht. Alles in allem: trotz gutem Essen und schöner Atmosphäre wird mich das Parthenon nicht wiedersehen. Lokale mit einer wahrnehmbaren Zweiklassengesellschaft im Service mag ich generell nicht, und für ein Lokal dieser Preisklasse war die Serviceleistung nach meinem Empfinden absolut unprofessionell. Wie es besser geht, können die Betreiber sich gerne mal zum Beispiel in der Gastronomie des Hotels Frankfurter Hof abschauen, wo nach unseren mehrfachen Erfahrungen jeder Gast die gleiche zuvorkommende und freundliche Aufmerksamkeit des Service erfährt. Und den Hauptgang fast zeitgleich mit der Vorspeise zu bringen geht gar nicht, schon überhaupt nicht in einer Lokalität dieser Preisklasse. Sorry, definitiv keine Empfehlung von mir für das Parthenon.

Wir waren das erste Mal dort und freuten uns noch einen Tisch zu finden. Leider mussten wir dann erst mal geduldig auf die Karten warten, welche wir erhielten, als wir sehr aktiv auf uns aufmerksam machten. Ok, es war voll. Da sahen wir zunächst darüber hinweg. Leider mussten wir dann auch ewig darauf warten, endlich bestellen zu dürfen. Tische mit offenbar Stammgästen wurden immer wieder sehr bevorzugt bedient. Als Gast kann ich erwarten auch anständig bedient zu werden, wenn ich das erste Mal in ein Lokal komme. Nachdem wir dann endlich bestellen durften, kam die Vorspeise rasch. Leider auch die Hauptgerichte, kaum das wir mit der Vorspeise, welche auch eine gehobene Preisklasse hat, begonnen hatten. In einen Lokal dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich einen vernünftigen Zeitabstand zwischen den Gängen. Ich möchte das Essen genießen und nicht genötigt werden, es herunter schlingen zu müssen. Sowas geht gar nicht. Der Fisch im Hauptgericht war sehr gut. Das Giros leider das völlige Gegenteil. Ich habe noch NIE bei einen Griechen Pfannengiros serviert bekommen. Dafür brauche ich nicht essen gehen, das mach ich mir zu Haus selber und sogar besser. Die Kritik prallt bei der Bedienung leider ab. Im übrigen mussten wir sehr lange nach dem Essen auf eine Bedienung warten und wieder sehr aktiv nach dieser Fragen. Bis zum Schluss wurden die Stammgäste übrigens extrem bevorzugt. Alles in allen: Kein Lokal was man empfehlen kann.

Romantisch im Regen gesessen unter dem Vordach. Das Essen war lecker. Bifteki. Alles in allem ein schönes Restaurant, wären da nicht die Preise.

L’insalata greca non è come l’insalata italiana, con un piatto ci può far cena tutta la famiglia 😅 Questo è il ricordo bello che mi è rimasto impresso nella mente… ma non abbiamo mangiato solo l’insalata eh… insomma siamo usciti dal ristorante che rotolavamo felici e soddisfatti. Il personale è molto amichevole, il servizio e tempi 🔝 Bravi, peccato solo per l’orario di chiusura (23.00), saremo rimasti ancora qualche oretta spiluccando varie specialità greche 😋 Consigliato si!!!! Selten so frisch und gut beim Griechen gegessen. Nicht günstig, aber Top Qualität, also Preis-Leistung stimmt allemal. Sehr schöne Terrasse, obwohl nah an der Straße sehr ruhig. Service freundlich und schnell. Portionen reichlich, gut geeignet zu teilen. Gute Weinkarte. Absolute Empfehlung
