Das Essen war super lecker und frisch. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Jorgo , er war einfach klasse und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ein Juwel der Stadt, mit griechischem Flair und perfekter Lage. Die Vorspeise ließ mich den Duft des Meeres riechen, und der Hauptgang erinnerte mich an meine Reisen.

Leckere griechische Spezialitäten!

Mein Lieblingsgrieche in Frankfurt. Das Ambiente ist toll. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die gegrillte Meeresfrüchteplatte und das gegrillte Gemüse. Das Steak war nur mittelmäßig, daher würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Der Auberginenauflauf war eine echte Enttäuschung. Er entsprach überhaupt nicht meinen Erwartungen an griechisches Essen. Das Restaurant ist zwar sehr großzügig mit dem Hackfleisch, aber die Aubergine war zu fest und nicht weich und zart. Ob Familienessen, Abendessen mit Freunden oder Geschäftsessen – dieses Restaurant ist eine gute Wahl.

Alles war sehr gut, das Essen war hervorragend, die Atmosphäre und der Service sorgten für ein sehr angenehmes Gefühl.

Das Essen war fantastisch, die Portionen perfekt und alles wunderschön angerichtet. Der Kellner war überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, was den Besuch noch angenehmer machte. Am 14.02.2026 waren wir zu viert im Restaurant Parthenon in Frankfurt essen und mussten leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung machen. Bereits zu Beginn gab es Probleme mit unserer Reservierung. Uns wurde zunächst ein Tisch zugewiesen, den ich im Vorfeld ausdrücklich ausgeschlossen hatte. In meiner schriftlichen Reservierung hatte ich klar einen Tisch im Fensterbereich in der Ecke gewünscht. Erst nach erneutem Hinweis wurde uns schließlich ein entsprechender Tisch zugeteilt. Leider war dieser Tisch nicht ordnungsgemäß vorbereitet – es fehlten Besteck sowie Servietten. Wir mussten zunächst darauf warten, dass der Tisch vollständig eingedeckt wird. Ein gelungener Start sieht anders aus. Zum Ende des Abends wollten wir die Rechnung begleichen. Der Kellner reagierte jedoch äußerst unangemessen auf das von uns gegebene Trinkgeld. Er zeigte sich sichtbar unzufrieden, verzögerte die Bezahlung und äußerte sich in einer frechen und respektlosen Art darüber, dass ihm das Trinkgeld zu gering sei. Dieses Verhalten ist absolut unangebracht. Wir haben ihm klar mitgeteilt, dass wir diese Haltung nicht akzeptieren. Nach solchen Äußerungen hätte er eigentlich gar kein Trinkgeld verdient, dennoch haben wir nachgegeben und den Betrag erhöht. Besonders bedauerlich ist, dass nichts mehr vom früheren Flair und dem respektvollen Umgang übrig ist. Zu Zeiten des damaligen Chefkellners Jorgo war der Service aufmerksam, professionell und auf einem ganz anderen Niveau. Ich selbst bin seit über 30 Jahren Gast in diesem Restaurant gewesen sowohl privat mit der Familie als auch mit internationalen Geschäftspartnern. Von dieser Qualität ist durch die neue Besetzung leider kaum noch etwas vorhanden. Fazit: Für uns war dies der letzte Besuch. Ein respektvoller Umgang mit Gästen sollte selbstverständlich sein – hier ist davon leider nichts mehr zu spüren.

Immer wieder hervorragendes Essen und Service

Sehr gutes Essen. Ausreichend Personal,welches im Grunde immer präsent ist, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein, immer freundlich immer diskret. Leere Teller werden zügig abgeräumt. Gute Akustik. Trotz der vielen Gäste und der Gespräche,war es nicht hallig. Die Nähe zum jeweiligen Nebentisch ist angenehm. Trotz der Nähe hat man ein gutes Gefühl der Privatheit. Also insgesamt ein sehr guter Eindruck. Ich war das erste Mal dort und werde öfter kommen.

Es liegt ganz in der Nähe des Museums, hat ein wunderschönes Ambiente und serviert köstliches Essen.

Wirklich etwas,,anders", aber überragend. Nicht ganz,,billig" und jeden Euro wert.

So lecker, wir kommen immer wieder. Allerdings nicht die typisch griechische Küche mit einfachen Gerichten wie Gyros Metaxa, sondern eher ein gehobenes griechisches Menü.

Ein ausgezeichneter Edel-Grieche mit stilvollem, gehobenen Ambiente. Sehr große Auswahl an frischem Fisch und erstklassigen Fleisch. Das Essen war von der Qualität und geschmacklich ganz hervorragend. Die Preise sind zwar recht hoch, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis insgesamt ist für Frankfurter Verhältnisse absolut in Ordnung. Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen.

Wenn Sie Fernweh nach Griechenland haben, aber nicht fliegen möchten … dann ist dies Ihre nächste Reise der Extraklasse! Was für ein unglaubliches Essen! Ich war nun schon zum zweiten Mal im Parthenon und habe seit meinem Besuch in Athen kein so gutes griechisches Essen mehr genossen – das Essen ist einfach umwerfend. Wir waren zu sechst und haben Oktopus, Lamm, Rind, Schwein und Hähnchen probiert – allesamt hervorragende Gerichte. Wenn Sie das Glück haben, von George bedient zu werden, erwartet Sie ein fantastisches kulinarisches Erlebnis! Vielen Dank für die wundervolle Zeit, wir freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Gyros aus Kalbfleisch war eher so eine Art Geschnezeltes und ziemlich zäh und mit vielen Sehnen, die Kartoffelchips waren kalt und nicht mehr knusprig. Es war sehr enttäuschend.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and I wanted to invite a Greek friend to dinner so I found this place. Food quality was very good but still did not justify the price paid. Apparently, this is a an upscale Greek restaurant but it is possible to dine at some others for half or less. Food is recommended but not good value. Also, the waiter asked if I could pay cash🤭

A restaurant where the atmosphere, service, and food are all equally excellent. The restaurant has an elegant, well-decorated interior. With the greek music playing quietly in the background, the atmosphere is comfortable and high class. George served me and my girlfriend with the highest level of hospitality and care we have thus far experienced. The lamb rack was sublime.

What a find! Delicious food, great service in a pretty leafy outdoor eating area. We had the crunchy and colourful salad in a delicious vinaigrette dressing. We shared the grilled chops and sea bream. Both dishes came with a generous plate of tasty side vegetables. Our wait staff was charming and upsold me to a delicious glass of wine. The entire meal was just what two jetlagged people needed. Thank you!

Excellent food and great service.

Went by chance because it was close to the Stadel museum, was surprised at how great it was. As a tourist was getting fed up with all the schnitzel, then had their delicious baby calamari dish… it was so good. The savory stuffing, I can’t help remembering… Staff was friendly as well. I’m just taking out one star from atmosphere because it was extremely hot that day and even in their shaded area, I felt kind of warm. It helped with me chugging down a whole large beer though

This evening we dined at the Parthenon and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The surf and turf platter, in particular, was simply delicious, truly captivating in its flavor and beautifully presented. However, the service was disappointing. During the meal, the service was rather halfhearted, but the real low point came when we paid: Apparently, our tip wasn't "sufficient" – in any case, we weren't even given a farewell afterwards. That was a real shame and left a bitter aftertaste. We live in Japan, where tipping is considered an insult because people there take pride in doing their work conscientiously and honorably – regardless of any extra bonus. In this sense, it's sad to see that these days, it's often not the choice of restaurant or appreciation for the cuisine that counts, but rather the amount of tipping. We spent over €220 – that should really speak for itself. Unfortunately, the latter impression overshadowed the evening.

Beautiful terrace and beautifully designed outdoor area. The mixed appetizer consisted of just various creams or spreads. That was a bit disappointing. The fish was well-cooked and plentiful. Side dishes were potatoes and vegetables, as always. A bit boring and uninspired. The side salad, however, was very good and large. Dessert was great and very tasty. The Greek coffee was top-notch. All in all, a typical Greek restaurant with good food, a nice atmosphere, and good service. You can't go wrong.

This Greek restaurant was a real discovery for me. The menu is varied and well thought out - it's easy to find something to suit your taste, be it fish, meat or vegetarian dishes. I was especially pleasantly surprised by the harmony of flavors: everything is perfectly balanced in spices and sauces, without going overboard. The dishes are served fresh and beautifully decorated, everything looks appetizing and really tasty. The atmosphere in the establishment is cozy and conducive to a leisurely, pleasant dinner. I will definitely come back again - I want to try even more from this menu and just enjoy high-quality, solid cuisine.

Today I had the veal liver from the lunch menu. When I ordered, I asked about the side dishes, as they were only listed as general options. I was told baked potato or rice. The dish only came with vegetables. I asked the waiter, who wanted to know. In the end, there was no answer; just the bill with no discount, no apology, or anything else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant.

We had dinner there with the family yesterday. The restaurant is centrally located and stylishly furnished. The staff were very nice and the service was excellent. And most importantly: the food was very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful experience in the Greek restaurant Parthenon Last Saturday I had the pleasure of dining at Parthenon Restaurant with my partner - and it was simply wonderful. I chose the Loup de Mer and it was an absolute dream: tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned - a taste experience that I won't soon forget. My partner tried the octopus and he was also completely impressed. The waiter's recommendation of the wine was a hit - it complemented the meal perfectly. The service? Simply outstanding! So attentive, friendly and warm - you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. An unforgettable evening with excellent food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. I can only rate the service. As a child, I dropped a water glass here and broke it, whereupon the waitress scolded me loudly. Since then my family has said we'll never go there again and we're not. I still remember how hard I cried and was afraid of the woman.

The staff was super friendly and attentive, a real highlight of the evening. The food was also really tasty, especially the octopus dishes – highly recommended! The calamari was a bit greasier, but still good. Perhaps a touch more spices would have intensified the taste of some dishes. The only small point of criticism was the noise in the restaurant. It was quite crowded and therefore a bit noisy, but that also speaks to how popular the place is. All in all a great experience – we would love to come back! ♥️

The food was very tasty and the lady who served us was very friendly. However, I have something to complain about and for that reason I will no longer visit this place. We ordered our food and ate it comfortably. After our meal we ordered our coffee. We had been sitting in the restaurant for exactly 2 hours and I hadn't finished my coffee when we were asked to pay because the next guests were already waiting. This is an outrage, especially since we ordered our coffee after dinner and didn't even finish it. We weren't told at the start that we would have to get up after 2 hours. We weren't the only ones asked to do this either. I expect appropriate service from a restaurant like this and it was anything but fine.

Very tasty food in a higher price range. For starters, tzatziki with olives and bread, very tasty and authentic. The gyros with chicken too. I had the fish duo of sea bass and sea bream. There was also a small portion of rice and vegetables. Unfortunately I discovered a hair in it. Still, the taste is very good so far.

Just off the Main River walk in Saxon area across the river… this area was spared from WW 2 bombing… nice architecture .We split a salmon filet with veggies and rice which was plentiful for two… Salmon was flavorful and cooked to perfection… house wine was also very good… highly recommend…

The dining establishment, while aesthetically pleasing, failed to provide adequate service. After waiting for an unacceptable duration of 18 minutes without receiving any attention from the staff, we made the decision to depart the premises. The reason for this treatment remains unclear, and it is uncertain whether it was due to my race ( black) or another undisclosed factor. Notably, there was a complete absence of eye contact from the staff throughout the entire experience.

The restaurant looks good and is comfortable. The negative thing is the noise, it's difficult to talk with the friends close to you. The food taste very good, but the selection of greek food Is limited. Half of the menu is about German food.

Wir hatten für unseren Hochzeitstag einen Tisch reserviert. Reservierung war problemlos. Wir wurden persönlich an unseren Tisch gebracht und wurden auch sofort bedient. Wir bestellten eine Flasche Wasser und ich trank noch einen Aperol Spritz zum Einstieg. Zum Essen bestellten wir als Vorspeise einmal Oliven in Öl und einen Feta mit Tomaten, Öl und Oliven im Ofen gebacken. Dazu wurde frisches (noch warmes) Weißbrot serviert (ein Gedicht). Als Hauptspeise aßen wir den Seeteufel und das Zicklein im Ofen geschmort. Jeweils mit Beilagen (Kartoffeln aus dem Ofen und Gemüse) Beides hat hervorragend geschmeckt, das Zicklein war eine Sensation. Das Fleisch fiel vom Knochen, genau so wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. - Der Service war anfangs sehr aufmerksam, aber als dann nach ca. einer halben Stunde das Restaurant für einen Dienstag Abend für meine Begriffe sehr voll wurde, waren die Servicekräfte doch etwas überfordert. Das war zumindest unser Eindruck. Das war wohl der Grund, weshalb wir mehrmals auf uns aufmerksam machen mussten, um weitere Getränke zu bestellen oder bis der Tisch abgeräumt wurde. Dies soll nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt sein. Denn wir hatten das Gefühl, dass sie an diesem Abend selbst nicht mit so einem vollen Haus gerechnet haben (war wohl wegen der Platz 1 Bewertung in Frankfurt geht aus) und deswegen völlig überfordert waren. - Sei es drum, wir haben sehr gut gegessen und einen schönen Abend gehabt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder...
