Essen war sehr lecker und mehr als ausreichend, Personal war leider etwas unfreundlich, aber es war auch viel los und sehr heiß. Wir kommen auf jedenfall mal wieder

Essen war sehr lecker, Bedienung war trotz des heißen Wetters sehr nett und man mußte nicht lange auf Bestellungen warten. Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Team.

Das Ambiente und die Lage sind toll. Das Personal war leider etwas schlecht gelaunt und wortkarg. Das Essen war okay, aber nicht richtig super. Alles in allem gibt es hier Luft nach oben.

Es war ein sehr gut abgestimmtes Arrangement: Bedienung sehr unfreundlich, Essen kam ewig nicht,Salat war extrem fettig (kein Olivenöl oder so) und die beiden sehr sehr kleinen Weißbrotscheiben waren alt und total angebrannt. Sorry, Bruschetta für 8:40 € (!) geht anders. Es war ein Testessen und ich komme definitiv niemals wieder.

Wir waren zum Abendessen in der Parkschänke und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt und die Qualität war hervorragend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Wir wurden schnell bedient und es wurde regelmäßig nach uns geschaut, sodass wir uns jederzeit gut betreut gefühlt haben. Restaurant mit schöner Terrasse,freundlicher Bedienung und lecker essen. Kleine übersichtliche Speisekarte auf der für jeden etwas dabei ist. Für Radwanderer oder Spaziergänger ein Imbiss vorhanden wenn man eine kleine Pause machen möchte.👍

Wir waren zum Muttertag Mittagessen. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit, nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen und schönes Ambiente.

Wir waren letzte Woche 2mal essen. Sehr unfreundlicher, arrogante Servicemitarbeiter. Hund unerwünscht.

Wir sind langjährige Gäste Ihres Restaurants und waren bislang stets zufrieden. Umso befremdlicher und inakzeptabler war unser letzter Besuch. Trotz unserer Gruppengröße (vier Erwachsene, fünf Kinder und ein Baby) wurde uns keinerlei Unterstützung angeboten. Stattdessen wurden wir aufgefordert, uns eigenständig um Sitzplätze zu kümmern – ein Vorgehen, das weder gastfreundlich noch angemessen ist. Besonders gravierend war jedoch das Verhalten der zuständigen Bedienung. Diese begegnete uns von Beginn an in einem unhöflichen, herablassenden und respektlosen Ton. Sie war sehr überfordert mit ihre Arbeit! Ein stark verschmutzter Tisch wurde zunächst nicht gereinigt. Als dies schließlich doch geschah, erfolgte dies wortlos, begleitet von einer unangemessenen Bemerkung. Die Speisekarten wurden uns achtlos auf den Tisch geschmissen, bevor sich die Mitarbeiterin ohne weitere Kommunikation entfernte. Ein solches Verhalten ist absolut untragbar und entspricht in keiner Weise den Standards, die wir von Ihrem Haus erwarten. Dass auch andere Gäste diese Situation wahrgenommen haben, unterstreicht die Unprofessionalität zusätzlich. Wir erwarten eine Stellungnahme zu diesem Vorfall sowie Maßnahmen, die sicherstellen, dass sich ein derartiges Verhalten nicht wiederholt.

Wir haben hier letztes Jahr im Mai unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und können sagen, dass das Team der Parkschänke einen maßgeblichen Anteil daran hatte, dass wir eine Traumhochzeit erleben durften. Der große Saal ist super für eine größere Gesellschaft, das Essen lecker, die Kinder können im Park spielen und man kann eine Hüpfburg aufstellen. So sind auch die Eltern entspannt :) Die Abstimmung vorher lief auch sehr gut und man hat im Vorfeld bei der Hochzeitsmesse die Möglichkeit alles detailliert anzusehen und abzustimmen. Klare Empfehlung :)

Tolles Essen, war wirklich überrascht.

Ich mag die Schänke als historische Gaststube total gerne. Leider schmeckt mir das Essen überhaupt nicht, egal wie oft ich schon da war.Für diese gehobenen Preise ist die Qualität eher durchschnittlich.

Ich war heute Abend essen mit mein ehemalige meister und seine Frau ,ich muss leider sagen, dass ich sehr enttäuscht bin. Die Kellnerin hat mit mir als Ausländer wirklich respektlos und unprofessionell umgegangen. Das macht das Restaurant für internationale Mitbürger leider nicht empfehlenswert. Es war insgesamt eine enttäuschende Erfahrung, und ich werde nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Schöne Ecke vom Limbach, schönes Bayerisches Restaurant mit gutem Service. Vermutet man nicht direkt in der Ecke von Deutschland. Es gibt auch Maßbier. Das Essen ist sehr Lecker - die Rippchen sind sehr zart und die BBQ-Soße ist super. Die Bedienung könnte aufmerksamer sein, ich wurde öfters ignoriert. Dennoch Empfehlenswert.

Wir waren Samstag Abend zu dritt essen. Wir hatten reserviert. Die Gaststätte war komplett ausgebucht. Der Service war hervorragend. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und trotz des vollen Gastraums schnell bedient. Das Personal war jederzeit aufmerksam. Wir hatten alle Schnitzel mit Spargel bestellt und es war ausgezeichnet. Das Schnitzel war zart und hatte eine schöne knusprige Panade, auch der Spargel war von sehr guter Qualität. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Super für große Veranstaltungen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vorallem die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Die Martinsgans war sehr lecker

Schönes Restaurant mit angenehmen Ambiente. Die Speisen sind saisonal angepasst. Die Lage ist perfekt, da man danach auf den Spielplatz, in den Tierpark, oder einfach in den Park gehen kann.

Leider war der Service völlig überfordert und hat uns die meiste Zeit vot leeren Gläsern hocken lassen. Kein bisschen aufmerksam oder zuvorkommend. Das Essen 2ar ok, aber nicht so toll. Das Zwiebelfleisch Medium wobei es nicht so gewollt war und bei Schwein auch nicht so normal ist.

Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir hier einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider entsprach die Qualität des Essens nicht den Preisen auf der Karte.

Unsere Organisation hat hier ihre Jahreshauptversammlung abgehalten. Wir waren etwa 20 bis 30 Personen. Wir wurden schnell und gut bedient. Das Bier ist ausgezeichnet. Das dunkle Bier ist phänomenal und wärmt an kalten Tagen wunderbar. Ich empfehle die Schweinerippchen. Es ist manchmal etwas laut. Das Lokal liegt direkt neben dem Zoo. Die Preise sind für deutsche Verhältnisse eher hoch.

Preis-Leistung passt Essen schmeckt

Waren zu einer Hochzeit in der Schänke. Ambiente im Park und den großen Fenstern finde ich sehr gut. Service war auch gut. Ich fand das Essen bei den Preisen nicht gut. Schnitzel vom Kalb mit Kartoffeln und ein kleiner Gurkensalat. Die Panade war nicht gut der Gurkensalat ebenfalls nicht und das Fleisch zäh. Schokoküchlein mit flüssigem Kern war gut aber die Mangostücke dazu waren vergoren 🤮. Parkplätze direkt am Haus sind kostenlos. E Ladestation kostet viel zu viel. Dann besser bei Lidl oder Kaufland um die Ecke aufladen

Alles lief super. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Es ist alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Super Lecker 😋 zum Tollen Preis!!!

Auf dem Heimweg vom Urlaub haben wir spontan entschieden, hier zu essen. An einem Wochentag außerordentlich gut besucht. Trotzdem haben wir einen Tisch für 2 Personen bekommen und wurden freundlich bedient. Auf Nachfrage war auch eine Seniorenportion möglich, was uns entgegen kam. Essen war freundlich und preiswert, hier kann man die Einkehr nur empfehlen 👍

Trotz vieler Pfingstgäste flotte, nette Bedienung, Super Essen und ein schönes Getränk. Apfelsaft und Eis haben sehr gut geschmeckt und die Suhrhaxe war absolute Spitze. Immer wieder. Lang, lang ist es her. Heute bekommt man ohne Voranmeldung zum Mittagstisch am Sonntag keinen Platz. Aussichtslos !!! Egal ob 11:30 oder 13:00 Uhr. Alles bestellt, obwohl viele Tische leer sind. Schade, aber Limbach hat noch mehrere Gaststätten.

Wir haben auf der Durchreise spontan entschieden, dass wir in der Parkschänke zu Mittag Essen gehen und sind positiv überrascht worden. Obwohl wir erst am Nachmittag dort waren, wurde uns die sehr leckere Tagesempfehlung innerhalb kurzer Zeit serviert. Das Ambiente ist zwar schlicht, aber alles war sehr sauber, insbesondere die Toiletten. Vorteilhaft ist die Nähe zum schönen Stadtpark und dem Tierpark. Falls wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir gerne vorbei. Klare Weiterempfehlung:)

Gemütliches bayerisches Ambiente, leckeres Bier, nette Bedienung und schmackhafte sächsische und bayerische Gerichte!

Waren zum Weinfest und es war super.

Wir waren für eine Hochzeitsfeier mit 35 Gästen im Café Seeblick, ein Teil der Parkschänke. Es wurde alles sehr gut organisiert und unsere Wünsche standen dabei immer im Vordergrund. Der Service war zuvorkommend, jedoch nicht aufdringlich. Unser im Vorfeld ausgesuchtes Buffet ist bei den Gästen sehr gut angekommen, es war sehr lecker. Die Räumlichkeit war für uns perfekt. Eine integrierte Bar, ein nicht quadratischer Raum, eine wunderschöne Terrasse und der Zugang zum Park. Einfach schön. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war top. Vielen Dank an das Team, der Tag war so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben :-)

Spontan am Samstag Nachmittag einen Platz zum Kaffeetrinken bekommen. Bestellung kam schnell. Essen und Getränke waren in Ordnung.

If you're looking for good food, this is the place to be. Excellent food, friendly staff, and a quiet location are just the thing for a few pleasant hours with friends and family.

The food and atmosphere are truly fantastic. The service staff were friendly and courteous throughout. Unfortunately, taking the order and billing took an extremely long time, and there were also minor mix-ups. It would be advisable to digitalize the processes – using a tablet for ordering, for example, is faster and tends to be more error-free. But we'd still be happy to come back.

Food very tasty, varied and imaginative

Where should I begin? We had lunch at the Parkschenke and we found it terrible. My wife had a chicken salad, and it was quite okay, except for the bread bowl, which we didn't think was so good. Otherwise, the salad was okay. My Wiener Schnitzel wasn't a Wiener Schnitzel. It wasn't good; it was dry and tough, with more breading than meat. A Wiener Schnitzel is supposed to be thin, but that wasn't the case. It was much too thick for a schnitzel, and the potatoes weren't that fresh either. The service was very unfriendly and sloppy. It's like that in itself, but we definitely won't eat there again.

Very nice restaurant located near a beautiful park and zoo. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. I'd be happy to come back.

We've been to the parking lockers in Limbach-Oberfrohna several times. The staff and the food are all excellent. The surrounding area, with its small pond and park, is also highly recommended. The American Zoo is right next door.

Very nice restaurant, beautifully situated in the park. Eight of us met there. Almost all of the food was only lukewarm when served, but it tasted good. Only one person ordered veal schnitzel, which was tough and hard, for whatever reason. The service was often not seen for a long time. I don't really know if I'd want to eat there again. The ambiance was very nice.

We went to the Children's Day celebration in the city park yesterday, and due to the weather, we decided to have an early dinner at the Parkschänke. Getting a table wasn't a problem; there were plenty of spaces. We have two children: a 4-year-old daughter and a 11-week-old son. We had a table in a corner right by a door. Because of the children, we obviously had a stroller for the baby (or rather, a queridoo). The waitress asked us to please put the stroller outside. There was enough space at the table, it didn't bother the neighboring table, and we weren't sitting in the middle of the room. My husband then politely asked again if we could leave the stroller in the corner, but there was no way in. To be honest, that made us lose our appetite. We had ordered something for our eldest daughter, but we just wanted to leave. I find it more than questionable that you're not allowed to bring a stroller, or probably a pram, inside. Our son is 11 weeks old, so we had to hold him the whole time and couldn't put him down, neither to sleep nor when we wanted to eat. You do have to put a small baby down sometimes, of course. We've been to the Parkschänke many times and have always been satisfied with the food, but the service really leaves a lot to be desired. Even when we were there recently for a wedding, where everything was really great, the service was the only thing that wasn't up to scratch. Inflexible and sometimes snippy, you got the impression that you weren't "in the mood" or weren't wanted. The stroller issue is a reason for me not to come back; in other restaurants, they're happy to help you find a table, and it's not a problem at all. Of course, it's clear and logical for us that the stroller or buggy shouldn't be in the way, but in this case, it really wouldn't have bothered anyone. By the way, the waitress said, "She couldn't do that because there's no room if someone in a wheelchair arrives." In that case, they could have responded individually.

Were here in a larger group to celebrate a birthday. Super friendly and warm service! The food was very tasty, had goat cheese in a bacon coat and a schnitzel with asparagus. The portions were a bit too big for me personally, so unfortunately I couldn't eat any more dessert. Highly recommended restaurant.

Ideal for celebrations, the Parkschänke has separate rooms for this, also with a disco and dance ambience. The surrounding park is beautiful.

Absolutely great. Very nice atmosphere. A very good card. The dishes are very well prepared and presented. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The price-performance ratio cannot be beat. Actually a star deduction because of the lack of declaration of the allergens, but the staff takes care of it and finds a solution.

Today we were at Tierpark Amerika and wanted to go to the Parkschänke snack bar afterwards. Since there was a flea market at im.patk at the same time, there were a lot of guests there. However, the Parkschänke staff was completely overwhelmed and not prepared for this event!!!! We waited 45 minutes for some fries and wieners! impudence. Organize better!!! Not recommended.

The food is extremely good! The Parkschänke is one of the best restaurants in Limbach. See nice service. We especially think the location is very nice. The city park, zoo and the sauna landscape are practically right next to it. Ideal for a trip followed by or before a visit to the Parkschänke.

I found the interior dark, although nicely decorated. We were there at 2 p.m., and unfortunately they didn't serve lunch, but they did have a snack menu. The service seemed overwhelmed with our group of 14 people, even though we had made a reservation.

A wonderful place to switch off and linger. Great cuisine. The spinach dumpling, the Wiener Schnitzel, which we had, was better than in Vorarlberg. The atmosphere is friendly. Great atmosphere, friendly service team. chapó😄 that's how gastronomy works Thank you very much for the wonderful food

We were disappointed, the service was totally snippy, you had the feeling that everything had to happen quickly so that the table was free again. The food was disappointingly bad for the money, the veal schnitzel was tough as usual. The rose on the table is rotting in the vase. Not even for the supposedly "high standard" a white tablecloth for the sticky and scratched table! Conclusion: Not again!

We went to the “Etiquette Evening” and found it very nice. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and quick.

Went to the Parkschenke again in December for lunch. The food is very well prepared. And we were satisfied too. Unfortunately, no pictures were lost. Until December every year.

My husband and I ate here for the second time today. Very friendly service and the food is super tasty. The Parkschänke is highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

On January 25th, 2025, as on January 20th, 2024, we were guests at the New Year's Ball of the Christoph Böhm Dance School in the beautiful hall of the Parkschänke L/O. But first things first: When we arrived to greet us with a glass of champagne, we found a beautifully prepared and decorated hall, which gradually filled up to the last seat (including the gallery). So there was enough to do for the Parkschänke service team, who were on standby, and after the start and welcome of the ball evening by the head of the Limbach-Oberfrohna dance school, Christoph Böhm, they really had their hands full as the evening progressed to look after the almost 230 ball guests at a high level of service. It was a pleasure to watch the ladies and gentlemen at work, everything ran like clockwork and the boss of the house, Mr. Lindner, was at their head and also led his service team in practical terms..... !! The 3-course menu was very, very tasty, the warm portion was really and truly more than warm (at this point a big compliment to the kitchen!!) and the individual courses were served to each table in no time at all and the dirty dishes were at the end of the feast Removed in no time. Not once did a piece of cutlery fall to the floor or did the contents of a glass spill out where they shouldn't have belonged. We would like to thank every single member of the fast service team for their great effort that evening. The musical accompaniment by the band "Happy Feeling" created truly happy feelings for the dancers and guests and made this New Year's ball truly an unforgettable experience. We are already looking forward to 2026 and would love to come back......

The last time I was there was about 40 years ago. Unrecognizable. Just great .

Unfortunately I can't recommend it! Had dinner with several people. We were given small laminated cards that only listed prices for drinks. When we asked, we were told there was still food from the normal menu, but we were only given it orally. The food took a long time and to be honest the quality wasn't good. The duck dishes were dry and tough, as was the hare leg and the roast venison was extremely thin, tough and dry slices. The amount of portions, well, no one was full. We saw the prices for the bill. Wow, absolutely not justified. Very very expensive for the small portions. Only the ice cream was delicious and beautifully presented. We were there years ago for our son's baptism. Unfortunately nothing has changed! Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the second chance either. I'm sorry! Our service staff was friendly and accommodating! That's my personal opinion!

So after reading the very mixed reviews here, I had no idea what to expect here. But my birthday guests were very enthusiastic about the ambience and the food was also very tasty 😋👍 Almost everyone had something different and apart from the fact that my food wasn't quite as hot anymore (which I didn't think was so bad since I don't like it when it's too hot is for eating 😁). There's absolutely nothing you can say against the staff, my comment about the temperature wasn't answered unnervingly and everyone was very friendly 👌 and despite the fact that it was quite busy today, you didn't notice it at all, really good service 👍 The bad reviews are probably because you just had a bad day (it can happen, something can always go wrong, nobody is perfect) and since I saw that you still responded to every revision, I have the same feeling that the criticism reaches you and that you really make an effort 👍 In any case, my visit today was very nice and you now know my impressions 🤗

The food tasted good. Unfortunately there was nothing green on the plates, not a piece of lettuce, cucumber or tomato.

We celebrated our wedding in the Parkschänke in October. The day itself was great, the food was delicious and the process was always well discussed - thank you for that! The service could certainly have been a little more present, and orders were sometimes forgotten and only came after repeated requests - but since we billed based on consumption and, if necessary, there was also the option of getting a drink directly at the bar, this shouldn't be our biggest concern be a point of criticism. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the "preparation" for our big day... we had hoped for a little more. In personal conversations and in response to specific questions, reference was often made to the event folder - okay, then we could have watched it alone at home. We were told several times that the room we wanted was too big for the number of guests we had, which dampened our joy and made us unsure. But luckily we didn't let that put us off, because it was perfect for us and had enough space for the kids and for dancing! We also had to wait a long time for the final offer - probably due to problems with the email program. Which isn't so crazy in principle, the technology doesn't always work. But to notice this error and send us the offer again, because it had already been written, it took over a week and several calls from us, in which we also asked directly whether something had gone wrong with the email. However, this was initially denied. This was quite a burden, especially in the stressful last few weeks before the wedding, and left us very unsettled. Things discussed in the preliminary conversation weren't listed in the offer... so we had to make phone calls/write emails again... but everything was a bit cumbersome and felt stressful for us.

Today, after a hike, we went to the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. A table occupied. Rest empty. Everything would be reserved. When we asked that we would just have a quick drink, the answer came: We can't stack the guests! Also had a glass of water at the counter. Very nice!

Were there after lunch, there is a snack menu from 2 p.m. No problem at all, but even though the restaurant was almost empty, we were assigned a table close to the counter in the middle of the passage area. Only after repeated requests were we allowed to sit at a table for two slightly out of the way. Unfortunately, two of the dishes on the snack menu were not available, but we found alternatives. The food was very tasty. The service was very cool and the dining room didn't feel very comfortable.

The only restaurant that still offers lunch on weekdays in Limbach Oberfrohna and the surrounding area. Wonderful food, top service. We felt very comfortable.

This is the fifth or sixth time we have eaten here and it is always a pleasure. In the kitchen you know how to cook and the service is always very friendly. Really recommended!

A rustic atmosphere, very tasty food and a courteous and friendly staff. We are always satisfied and leave the restaurant with a very good feeling.
