A great hotel with a fantastic and friendly team.

We spent a short break at the beautiful Park Hotel in Bergen from October 7th to 10th, 2025. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly and accommodating receptionist. The standard double room was perfectly adequate for short and slightly longer stays when the weather wasn't great. We were even able to borrow a small kettle, free of charge, to make coffee and/or tea. Service as you would always wish for! The bathroom was super nice with what we considered a huge shower cubicle with a rain shower. Ideal for couples! The bed was also very comfortable at 180x200. Either the mattresses were purchased too soft, or they're past their best... in our opinion, they're replaceable. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, was a dream and left nothing to be desired for our idea of ​​a perfect breakfast. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys breakfast, or just enjoys eating in general. The fully automatic coffee machine delivers fresh coffee in every imaginable variety. Juices and many types of tea were also available. The foyer is truly inviting, with plenty of space, drinks service, and very comfortable seating. The terrace, garden, and outdoor pool are also guaranteed to be very enjoyable in summer when the weather is nice. We would have liked to extend our stay, but unfortunately, work-related reasons prevented it. We recommend the Parkhotel without hesitation!

Very good staff, the rooms were very neat and clean, nothing was missing, the reception was extremely competent, and breakfast was unfortunately very full due to the number of bookings. However, it would be nice to either relocate the coffee machine or install a second one to prevent the queue from reaching everywhere in the middle of the buffet. The parking service was great 👍

If you're looking for a centrally located hotel with a very high standard on Rügen, this is the place for you. Whether you're going to Rahlswiek, the Schbe in the north, or Binz/Göhren in the south, everything is easily accessible. A small criticism: The pillows aren't down, as is the case in many hotels.

Fine hotel...great breakfast buffet

The entire club, 52 seniors, had a wonderful stay and time at Parkhotel Ruegen. Kudos to all the staff, who, despite the busy schedule—sometimes seven buses full of guests—always served us with a smile. The breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. Everyone was very satisfied. Beautiful hotel, very comfortable beds, and a buffet dinner and breakfast with something for everyone. After our late return from the Störtebeker performance in Ralswiek, our various drink requests were fulfilled in the hotel lobby.

Until recently, I recommended this hotel. Central location on the island, perfect for attending the Störtebeker plays by public bus (the best way!), great breakfast. The restaurant is also good if you don't want to venture out into Bergen. Unfortunately, management has eliminated the bar and the Friday dance and had the brilliant idea of ​​charging €5 per night for the previously free parking. Although the rooms are currently being renovated bit by bit and a small pool even opened in August, I can no longer recommend it 😪 We were truly disappointed by this decision. Now the hotel is just one of many – interchangeable. Such a shame...

Whenever I travel to Rügen for work, I stay here. I find this comfortable and good hotel. The room quality is high. The reception is open 24 hours. The breakfast is very good and the selection is extensive. Being in the East, there's something for every taste. Another good thing is that breakfast is available from 6:30 a.m. Especially if you're on the road a lot for work, like me.

We stayed one night with our dog (+18€), the hotel was reasonably priced, clean, friendly staff, parking at the hotel for 5€. Breakfast was good.

Down-to-earth 4-star hotel; unfortunately, no air conditioning or insect screens. Rooms generally fine, everything provided. Unfortunately, no air conditioning, so in the summer at least the rooms in the left wing heat up. Unfortunately, no insect screens on the windows either; if you arrive in the evening in the summer and air out the room to let in some cool air, mosquitoes will come into the room...

I stayed at the Parkhotel Rügen and was completely satisfied. The hotel is modern, very well-maintained, and quietly located. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need – especially the bed was super comfortable. I was particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. You immediately feel welcome. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious – there really is something for everyone. The evening restaurant was also a good choice, albeit a bit more expensive. The small wellness area with sauna offers a pleasant way to relax after a day on the island. And thanks to its central location in Bergen, the hotel is a perfect starting point for excursions in all directions. I would come back anytime and can highly recommend the Parkhotel Rügen.

Good hotel. Not exactly cheap, but it's a 4-star hotel. There were three of us, all with a child. Probably not the target audience; it was mostly people over 60. I had a school event there over 20 years ago and always wanted to stay there. It was nice and quiet. There were small snacks in the room, including for the child. Ample parking. Breakfast was good; basically everything you need was there. We would have liked gluten-free bread, but we didn't ask—maybe they could have provided some. The Wi-Fi was very good. The TV program was good, too, which was also good for the child. My only criticism was the very light curtains, which made sleeping in almost impossible in the summer. And air conditioning? It would probably be good in the summer. And the door handle in the bathroom is very old, and the door doesn't close properly. That was a shame. Otherwise, I can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

The bathroom lacks hooks or shelves for storing toiletries or hanging a toiletry bag. Otherwise, the room was very nice. The service team had trouble reserving bicycles. However, the staff member responded quickly and offered a discount. The hotel is centrally located on Rügen, making everything easy and quick to reach. It was a pleasant stay; the staff were consistently friendly, the breakfast buffet plentiful, and worth repeating.

Large hotel with good organization, quick check-in. Dinner times are allocated for the different tour groups, so there's no waiting or line-ups at the buffet. The selection is extensive and good. The hotel room is fine, but the carpet is stained. I don't understand why a modern hotel doesn't have a floor that can be mopped; it would be much more hygienic.

We highly recommend this place. The hotel is beautiful and we'd love to come back.

Good hotel in a convenient location for exploring Rügen and the surrounding area. Staff in all departments are very friendly. Breakfast is excellent, with everything you need (sausages, cereal, fruit, yogurt, a selection of pastries, etc., and a variety of coffees). Rooms are spacious and clean. All in all, highly recommended.

I was there for 3 days with my girlfriend and we also ate there in the morning. There was an employee Mrs Meyer who was very unfriendly to us. She asked if she could take the plates with her in an extremely rude tone and also made fun of several employees near us.

Settlement at the reception upon departure: In connection with the settlement - the reception wanted payment for breakfast and parking. We presented papers where the stay was all inclusive. It was discussed. The papers were not good enough. The person/man wanted a message in his language - and not in Danish, which he did not understand??? (NB It was easy to read: Parking 0.00. Breakfast included. - Shown with index finger on the document) After some discussion back and forth - and pointing out the conditions on our paper material - the receptionist accepted our Danish document!!!!! We were aware that he was trying to demand an extra payment from us!!!!! We were also aware that he could definitely see on his own PC that everything had been paid...... Otherwise there is 'something' blatantly wrong with your IT system. We DO NOT APPRECIATE that kind of treatment of customers!!!!! That is the reason why we are not giving a better rating.

The hotel is a 4-star, and the services and prices reflect this. I didn't like the fact that you have to pay extra for parking. The rooms are fine, and the service is very good. The location is quite close to a busy street, but the rooms at the back, facing the park, are very quiet. There is only one elevator for the three floors, each with approximately 50 rooms. As long as it works, everything is fine. Short waits are not a problem. The hotel also offers a wellness center and sauna, and cultural performances are also offered from time to time.

The telephone reservation was quick and easy. On the day of arrival, we arrived at the agreed time and were able to go straight to our room. It was clean, well-equipped, and there was a little surprise on the bed for our daughter, a very nice gesture. The young woman who was on duty at the reception every morning was extremely accommodating and friendly. A big thank you for assisting with a personal emergency. That's what I imagine a good receptionist to be. The breakfast was amazing every morning. There was more than enough selection and quantity. Of course, if I didn't go to breakfast until midday, there wouldn't be enough selection and quantity. You should be a bit realistic here. Personally, I found the price/performance ratio to be very good. All in all, it was an excellent stay.

We have been here several times for a short vacation and have always been very satisfied. Beautiful rooms and delicious breakfast with a large selection. Parking spaces directly at the house, otherwise always free, now 5 euros per night. But that's still ok. Bergen itself is not that interesting, but other places on the Baltic Sea can be reached relatively quickly by car. We would love to come back...

Painters were working everywhere in the foyer, wallpaper was being torn off, filled and various other work was being done. Everything on the 3rd floor was covered with foil and work was carried out until 7 p.m. The bar wasn't even open. I think things like this should have been told to us before the start of the trip. I wanted to speak to the hotel management three times, but they were never available. Great hotel, everything is really right...just in Bergen...not on the Baltic Sea.

We have now been guests at this hotel five times and can recommend it without reservation. We were particularly impressed by the well-thought-out concept of the wellness area: the sauna can be easily switched on and off using the room card and is accessible in the morning. We were even able to activate it before breakfast and use it in a relaxed manner - a real plus! We very much hope that this flexible system will be maintained even after the planned expansion. The charging options for electric vehicles also deserve praise: Instead of excessive kWh prices, you simply book the underground car park and can use one of the two wallboxes - fair and uncomplicated. A small suggestion for improvement concerns the breakfast: There is still some room for improvement in terms of coffee, selection and atmosphere. We are already looking forward to our next stay in mid-May!

We traveled to the Parkhotel again after a few years because we already liked it back then. The impression has now been confirmed, the service is still wonderful and the facilities have even improved (infotainment, sports facilities, sauna). New cycle paths are currently being built around Bergen towards the coast and a pool is being built in the hotel itself. So it certainly won't be our last visit, as the offering is constantly evolving. Thank you for the great time!

Hey everyone, we were at your hotel regularly from March 23rd to 25th and were head over heels and decided to arrive the day before and it worked out smoothly with a different room. We were totally satisfied with both rooms and we will definitely come back. :) The construction site in front of our room was particularly exciting for our son. :D He was thrilled, we're looking forward to when the pool is finished. Get cheap double rooms through HRS Deals. Hotel is temporarily listed there. All in all we were very satisfied. Almost no fish at the breakfast buffet, not even at Easter there was smoked salmon or other smoked fish. Otherwise everything was very good. Parking at the hotel €5 per day or you can park opposite in the large square for free.

Everything was very nicely decorated. Rooms very well equipped, free WiFi everywhere in the hotel. Very friendly service throughout the hotel. We stayed there for 8 days with a bus group. The food was served in buffet form, very varied, although only a few guests dined there in the evening. There is a wellness area with 2 saunas and a steam bath. In 10 minutes you can reach the bus station and the DB train station. From there you can reach several places on Rügen and also Stralsund.

We stayed at your hotel from April 18th to 20th and were on vacation for the first time with my bedridden mother-in-law. Everything worked so well, from booking to departure. We were so fascinated by everything. The breakfast was great and the handicapped accessible room was great. Mom enjoyed it so much and of course my husband and I did too. A pretty good hotel, a bit heavy on metal, but quite decent. It was undergoing renovations when we were there. The food was quite good, as was the breakfast, and the service was friendly. A bit impersonal for my taste, more like a conference room than cozy. But neat and clean...

The first room I got unfortunately had a carpet. Carpets give me the creeps because they never get completely clean. So I asked to be swapped. This happened, but I was on the ground floor next to the parking lot. The room is furnished a bit like grandma's. Unfortunately, you can't make your own coffee in the room. I think you expect a bit more modernity from 4-star hotels. You can't sleep in either. At 5:30 a.m. someone was vacuuming the room next to me and I woke up. When I wanted to test whether the heating in the bathroom was on because I was cold, I burned three fingers because it was so extremely hot, but the room was still cold. At breakfast, they couldn't even tell me whether the rolls were made with wholemeal flour. I'm a bit disappointed. If you pay attention to a healthy diet, you can at least eat eggs and cucumbers, cheese, and yogurt with fruit.

Everything, from check-in to the size and cleanliness of the room to the great breakfast buffet. Our room was quite large, so that you could easily put two suitcases down. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable. The bathroom could also have been used for 2 people. WiFi is available and free. 2 bathrobes for the SPA area were hanging in the wardrobe free of charge. The SPA area could be used free of charge and the saunas were clean. Massages could be booked for a fee. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and was always refilled. The tables used were immediately covered and set again. Parking spaces were plentiful and free. The hotel is in a quiet location at the beginning of Bergen, it was about a 15 minute walk to the CITY. We really enjoyed it and would come back. Unfortunately, DAZN was not available via the WiFi.

Very good hotel, we are in a room that is very suitable for wheelchairs, the bathroom is great, my husband has a lot of space and can use the shower and toilet very well with a wheelchair. Everything in the entire hotel is wheelchair accessible. Very nice and friendly staff. We can only recommend it and would be happy to come back at any time. 👍👍👍👍👍

I like coming to the Parkhotel The staff is always friendly. The rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is good. The only drawback is that there is no poultry sausage at breakfast. More and more people are no longer eating pork. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🤗🍾🎄

Based on the cheapest price (from 99 for a double room) worth recommending. Large clean room. Free parking and the central location on the island make the hotel a great starting point for exploring Rügen by car. The breakfast was okay. Regional ingredients like eggs. The selection of rolls would have been great if they had been fresher. The management should take a look at whether this can still be optimized. The staff was friendly and cheerful. This makes your stay fun! There are also seminar rooms and a spa which we didn't try. The village offers some small shops and restaurants. We can highly recommend Bibo on the market square for dinner or a snack.

4 stars in the GDR level West Standard at most 3 stars. No luggage rack in the room, no table waste bin. The coffee was terrible, the breakfast buffet was loveless as was the evening buffet. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean but 1980s. The highlight coffee pot on the table from the 80s. There is a coffee machine but the coffee was even thinner. Ok for one night, not recommended for a longer period of time.

You come into a bright, friendly lobby and are greeted very kindly and attentively. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of space for clothes in the closets. The bathroom is also very large. Breakfast includes a selection of rolls, bread, croissants, cereals, juice and much more. The extensive offerings also continue at dinner. We ate there ala carte and each time we were served a very tasty meal with large portions. We were thrilled every time. The service in the restaurant, whether at breakfast or dinner, was also attentive and friendly. On the last evening, it was my wife's birthday, the table was festively set for us. Thanks again for that. We would be happy to come back.

I always enjoy visiting the hotel: the rooms are comparatively cheap (with flexibility in terms of time) and very clean. Unfortunately, it's also quite noisy overall - you should have earplugs with you. The wellness area is well maintained and fortunately most guests adhere to the sauna rules. Unfortunately, the service at breakfast needs improvement: on 2 out of 3 days I returned from the buffet and the breakfast I had started had been cleared away. Please explain to the staff what crossed cutlery means.

Girls' weekend on Rügen in a nice, well-located hotel! You can start many wonderful activities from here! The rooms are furnished as standard and the welcome gift is a nice touch! The breakfast buffet is sufficient, but I think serving canned fruit for the muesli buffet is a no-go for a 4 star. The dinner in the form of a menu was very tasty and the staff was friendly and very attentive! The wellness area is still very expandable!!! Very carelessly furnished. The wellness area looks like a waiting room, very cold, there is no music to relax, water is available from plastic cups (and that's 4 stars)...unfortunately the saunas go out after a while and then you have to wait until they are ready for operation again, I can understand that for cost reasons, but it's not very nice for relaxation. Please redesign the wellness area and we'll come back!

Older (not yet renovated) but spacious and very clean room. Very friendly staff everywhere. Wellness area with Finnish sauna (80 degrees - could be a little more) and steam bath. Loungers available, including bathrobes and towels. Access to the outside possible. Fitness room well equipped, a bit older but functional. Good breakfast with enough choice and attentive service. In just a few minutes you can walk to the center of Bergen, there is a large parking lot. We'd love to come back.

I can't point out anything that was really good. Unfortunately, it started quite unpleasantly. After a 6 hour drive we wanted to move around Enter our room at 2:30 p.m. (arrival stated at 3 p.m.). Unfortunately it wasn't finished at that time. That means we had to kill time for another half hour. The room was quite good so far. However, all the wood is no longer up to date. Unfortunately, the bathroom trash can was still full from the previous ones. The beds are large and comfortable. Unfortunately, the breakfast was more than disappointing. Firstly, there wasn't a single set table, we had to organize the cutlery etc. ourselves. Unfortunately, at 9 a.m. a lot of things were no longer in stock or only leftovers could be found on the plates. That didn't change even after we were there for half an hour. Our overall conclusion is therefore rather mediocre.

We felt very comfortable. Employees in all areas were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were great and the wellness area was also very good. We had to cancel our trip after 3 days because my husband got sick. Unfortunately there was no refund (that was the only negative point)

Our room was newly renovated and featured a hotel tablet. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom (with a tub-shower) was satisfactory. The location was good, the “center” was within walking distance. There were two bus stops in the immediate vicinity. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

I'm totally disappointed 😞 about the service in the hotel!!!! We wanted to celebrate our wedding there next year and the rooms were available for the date after consultation!!! Should an offer be made to us after a personal conversation!!! 12 days later they say the rooms are not free!! Even though the offer was supposedly already written!!😒🤔 My guess is that a larger group has registered and is preferred!!! Very bad service!!!!
