Yet another new owner, hence another new review. We went there for Sunday brunch last weekend. Everything seemed rather disorganized, the staff somewhat unmotivated and slightly annoyed. There was plenty of food, mostly cold and served on platters. Unfortunately, everything was on tables that had absolutely no refrigeration, which struck us as odd. I enjoyed the food overall, but unfortunately, my stomach didn't tolerate it well, and even the next day I felt like I'd eaten rocks. The new ambiance also made me feel more cramped than before. A shame!

We ate there on a Friday evening. The food was really good, the steak and schnitzel were excellent quality and a good size. The service was absolutely top-notch and very motivated. The other staff members were also very friendly. All in all, we'd definitely go back.

We were a small group today who wanted to play some darts. We were very happy. The beer was delicious and the cocktails even better… we even got some tasty snacks… Top service and highly recommended. We had nice chats with the owners, they were incredibly friendly… I hope for many more enjoyable evenings ☺️

We had a truly wonderful evening at the Paris-Rom steakhouse in Erkner. The exceptional hospitality of the entire team deserves special mention – we felt welcome from the very first moment. Despite a temporary staff shortage in the kitchen (only two chefs on duty), the wait times were surprisingly short. The situation was explained to us openly and kindly, and we found the slight delay perfectly understandable and acceptable. The food itself was a real highlight. The meat, in particular, was superbly prepared – juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The other dishes were also of high quality and completely won us over. Overall, a very successful experience that we highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday today. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was delicious, and the service was very warm and welcoming. We would definitely recommend it. We've found a new favorite restaurant! 😍

The food was simply delicious, and the price-performance ratio was excellent. There was plenty of very good food on the plate. The service was also fantastic. I was there with my wife, child, and in-laws, and we all agree we'll be telling our friends about this restaurant. All in all, considering the service, the food, and the value for money, this is our new insider tip in Erkner.

Good value for money, friendly staff, the food is good, just be careful with the stir-fries – they're all served with rice, and I also ordered croquettes on the side 🤷 Being able to read properly is definitely an advantage... but recommended 😉

I was there with my family, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food didn't take long to arrive. The pepper steak, cooked medium-rare, was very juicy and lived up to its promise. The sweet potato fries were also very crispy and delicious. The service was very polite and lived up to the principle that the customer is king. Overall, very good.

Beautifully decorated and clean venue with good food at fair prices. Highly recommended for a great night of football on Sky. It wasn't crowded, nor were there any unpleasant fans. It will be our new regular spot for sporting events. Very friendly and relaxed staff who enjoy their work. 😊

Delicious food, but you have to allow plenty of time. The service is nice, but sometimes takes quite a while.

This was our fifth time here. First of all, I have to say: The boss and his wife try their best and are always in a good mood – but it's not for those on a tight budget! We were satisfied four times, but today the kitchen must have been in a bad mood. There were eight of us there → Reception and first drink order: great. Starter ordered: great. And then it began: • We said we would order the main course in five minutes – after about 25 minutes, the "boss" arrived (there were five tables occupied in the entire dining room, so it wasn't stressful). • Main courses ordered, including the 400g beef fillet, which costs just under €48. The fillet was ordered "English" – but what arrived was, well, let's put it this way: "like it came out of the fridge." The internal temperature was around 25°C. So, back to the kitchen to continue cooking. After five minutes, it was back again – center cut – no change. So back to the kitchen, with the request to see if a core temperature gauge was available → no response. The answer was that achieving a warm core is difficult!!! Excuse me, how??? So if I call myself a steakhouse, I either have a feeling or use tools to achieve an internal temperature of approximately 51°C (120°F) ("English"). The steak was okay after the second time – more on the well-done side – and had therefore lost about half of its original weight. The rest of the table, seven people, had already finished their meals. On the subject of burgers: okay, the patties seem to be homemade, but the flavor is so bland – they could have used a bit of seasoning (for the second time, the double cheeseburger). 2 small slices of cucumber on top, I missed a lettuce leaf, or it was so small that it wasn't visible. All this for €19, well, there's still room for improvement. Afterward, we got a little exercise playing darts and billiards. Tables: sticky and dirty. Darts machines: loaded with broken tips. Okay, at least the billiards were free. Cocktails were ordered for €11 each. Next disappointment: no idea if the glasses had been washed in the deep fryer, but they smelled of meat. Conclusion: We thought the steakhouse would be a good alternative to Erkner – but it was a pity. It seems as if the initial euphoria has vanished. We'll continue to go to our regular restaurant and turn our backs on the steakhouse. Everyone knows that the restaurant business is difficult – but if I do, then I have to maintain a certain standard if I pursue such a pricing policy (yes, of course, cost of goods, rent/lease, salaries, and additional costs have to be taken into account), but only with quality can I build a repeat customer base.

The food was excellent. I had a fillet steak with fries, herb butter, and fried onions, which was impressive in both taste and quality – a clear five stars. Only the wait for the food was a bit long, which is why I'm giving it four stars overall.

Today, October 4, 2025, I ordered the 400g beef fillet steak in English – and what arrived? A piece of meat that was ice-cold inside. I then went to the counter, where there wasn't a single server to be seen, only the chef, who barely spoke German. I explained to him that the steak was cold. He took my plate, I sat down again – and five minutes later, the same steak came back – still cold! So I went back to the front, and this time a server was there. She actually said the chef had already said I "would be back anyway" because it's "difficult" to get a warm center in an English steak. Seriously? I asked for a core temperature gauge – no answer. I then made it clear that I wouldn't eat cold meat. I was then offered the steak to be cooked medium. I agreed – and had to wait another 10 minutes. The steak finally arrived warm – but unfortunately, everyone else at the table had already finished. So I was left to eat alone. At almost €50 for 400g, I expect a perfectly prepared steak and no excuses like "there's no other way." A cold steak isn't an English steak, it's simply poorly done. (Missed the job?) After dinner, we wanted to play some darts and billiards – but that was also a joke. The chairs look like they've come from an old East German pub, the dart machines are littered with broken plastic tips, and the pool table is in terrible condition, almost empty of chalk and everything is worn. As if that weren't enough, we ordered cocktails – the Fruit Colada smelled of meat (yes, really!) and didn't taste as good either. Almost €11 for a three-quarters full glass of red wine – that's just disgusting. And the best part: In other reviews, you read that guests received at least a 50% discount for such a disaster. Here? Not even a word about that. Bottom line: The place was really good at first, but today was just embarrassing, unprofessional, and disappointing. I won't be coming back for a while.

Thank you for the wonderful, family-friendly time with you. Big praise for the food and your prices; everything is simply unbeatable. Keep up the good work. There's something for everyone: fish lovers, meat lovers, and even the little ones. If you're still not full despite the generous portions, just enjoy dessert.

I'd rather not give it any stars at all. The service was absolutely terrible. It wasn't until we got to the restaurant that no one came to take our order after half an hour. I would have understood if it had been busy, but it wasn't. Perhaps the service staff weren't communicating well. One person brings the menu, another serves drinks, and that's about it. We paid for our drinks and went to another restaurant where the service was much better.

We were there yesterday. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very cozy; we really enjoyed it. We received a friendly welcome and service. The food was delicious. You can even watch the chef cook the food, which was really cool. All in all, it was excellent, and we'll definitely be back 👍🏻

We were here again after a long time. We waited 95 minutes for the food, which was cold. We waited 45 minutes for a non-alcoholic drink. The complaints of all the guests were ignored. Instead, the friends of a so-called waitress, who are always served first, insulted other guests, whose patience eventually ran out. I've never experienced anything like this before. The price-performance ratio for the food could be improved. We're looking into whether we can watch football somewhere else. We've now been waiting for 20 minutes to pay. A non-alcoholic cocktail costs €11.50 here. Mint, lime juice, and lemonade... a gin and tonic costs €8.50... crazy, I unfortunately didn't notice, the cocktail costs between €5 and €6 everywhere, now €23 for two, which is outrageous.

The atmosphere was great, even if the music was a bit tiring and annoying at times. Billiards and darts could be played next door, which we definitely want to try! Now for the criticism, and I hope the owner takes it to heart. The food was good in terms of quality, but not tasty. The fried potatoes were bland, and the fried onions tasted simply awful. The meat was good, but the stuff on top (no idea what that was supposed to be?) just didn't taste good at all. Perhaps, given the price of the meat, they should spend a few euros on better steak pepper. Unfortunately, the beans with onions tasted of almost nothing... the garlic bread before was okay. But €5 for what felt like four slices of ready-made garlic bread was a bit steep. As I said, the ambiance and everything was good, but the food was very bland and, in my opinion, not worth the relatively high prices. I think I'll give it another try and try the Tex-Mex. (Perhaps a smaller menu would make sense.) Oh, and one more thing: since the windows were open all evening, all the insects fled into the restaurant at dusk. We left quickly because we were constantly being bitten. So, insect traps would have been appropriate here, as well as closing the windows and doors in good time.

Unfortunately, today was a complete disappointment. We didn't make it to dinner, so I can't rate it. Poor service, excessive wait time, dirty cutlery. After we finally got all our drinks after about 45 minutes, after asking several times, we decided to go to another restaurant for dinner. Too bad, today was a complete disaster. A little tip: one more server might be helpful. Or skip the cocktails if you don't have the right staff.

We spontaneously visited the restaurant with friends on August 7, 2025. The first impression was fine, but it quickly became clear that the outdoor area was unkempt and at times dangerous for children. Even inside, the owner's children ran unhindered through the kitchen and dining room, which is questionable from a hygiene perspective. After quickly ordering drinks, we had to wait a long time to order food. We were told that there might be delays due to a larger group – which would be understandable if the service still seemed organized. The appetizers arrived quickly and were okay. However, only one of three plates was cleared afterward, and we waited a very long time again. In total, it took over 90 minutes for the main course to arrive – and unfortunately, it was cold. Appetizer plates were still on the table when served. The dishes themselves were disappointing: The Erkner Grill Plate featured different meats than those listed on the menu, the potatoes and ribs were cold, and the meat was not cooked to a precise degree. My beef skewer was tough, full of tendons, and also cold – and I had to get my own cutlery. We spoke to the owner directly, who offered us a 50% discount. Unfortunately, the wait staff didn't know about this when we paid – they had to consult us first, which again took time. We waited outside for another 30 minutes for a bill. At the end, we gave them our contact details and asked for the bill to be sent later. Conclusion: Friendly owner, but serious deficiencies in organization, service, and cuisine. We hope that this will be urgently improved – the potential is there.

I had beef, lamb, and pork steaks, and all were very good. My companion had fish and was also impressed. Our conclusion: The food and drinks were very good. The service was incredibly friendly. On Sunday (July 20, 2025), three of us spontaneously visited the restaurant around 5:30 p.m. and received a very warm welcome and service. The food was delicious, more than plentiful, and served promptly. Everything was very fresh, and we highly recommend the restaurant. The staff seemed relaxed, seemed to enjoy their work, and were very accommodating. Everything seemed very clean. We give the service 6 out of 5 stars.

We're surprised by some of the reviews here. If we were having a bad day, then all three of us were unlucky at the same time: 1. The waitress didn't notice us for a long time and had to be approached by my wife. The second waitress had a pretty bad hangover. Both were nice and accommodating, though. 2. All the drinks were moderately cold, and unfortunately, the Spezi wasn't. 3. The food was a disaster. I had the grill plate. The pork fillet was nice and thick. The chef still managed to make it extremely dry. The beef was flabby and also dry. The lamb was okay. The fried potatoes were mushy and the onions weren't cooked well. My family had the burgers. They were probably pre-made patties. They left a lot of water on the plate. Overall, they weren't tasty. Although we really appreciated the restaurant under the previous owner, we won't be returning! Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the restaurant.

Eating like you're at a good friend's house. We spontaneously went to PRE for dinner today, and everyone was completely satisfied. The steaks were all delicious, offering absolutely fantastic value for money. The new owners are super friendly; we felt like we were at a good friend's house. A bit of billiards in between, all in all, a lovely evening.

Many other cities with more than twice as many residents would love to have a venue like this. Now, even with the new management (April 2025), things aren't getting any worse. Rumors are and were rumors. This makes it all the more important to form your own opinion. My wife and I searched in vain for such a friendly team in Berlin. It would be even better to offer regular salsa and/or dance evenings. 👍👍👍

Today, after a spontaneous bike ride, we landed at the Paris-Rome-Erkner restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and modern the restaurant was. The owner and staff were very friendly. The selection offers something for everyone. The food was delicious and served quickly. Dessert was our highlight. One small point deducted because I found the prices a bit high, for example, for a piece of herb butter (even though it was homemade and super delicious) at €2.90. But all in all, we were very satisfied and will be back on our next bike ride :-)

Everything seems a bit dingy. We went there for brunch and were a bit disappointed. The room where the buffet was set up was dimly lit. You could barely see what was on offer, and there were no signs indicating what the dishes were. There was nothing sweet, no jam, no desserts. We were full, but we won't go back again.

I can't give it a star because we found the doors closed even though we had ordered. That was very annoying.

We were there for the first time in mid-February... it wasn't good, the service was overwhelmed and the food wasn't good. Second attempt at the beginning of May: Service was very nice. BUT: we were alone in the restaurant and had to wait almost 45 minutes for frozen food. The burger was cold and after the first dishes came, we had to wait almost 10 minutes until the children got their food. But the prices were quite high. So attempt number 2 also failed. We won't do this to us a third time. It's a shame, because we really enjoyed staying at the PRE very often.

We were there for brunch today. Price/performance completely OK. and the buffet was sufficient and tasty. We were seated very comfortably and I really have to praise the service. Very friendly and the waitress often came to ask if we needed anything else.

The ambience has lost a lot of its charm since the takeover or since the concept was changed. It now has the charm of a shisha bar and is relatively expensive. It's a shame not to offer card payments in the 21st century, especially at these prices.

We were invited to this restaurant for a birthday. We sat right at the front. It was quite ok. The food was pretty good. I would have liked a few more meatless dishes, but I have to say that the side dishes that you can order additionally are well stocked. So we ate our way through the side dishes and starter menu. It was also more than tasty and sufficient. Going to the toilet was a bit wild. You had to pass a counter where the employees have a small mini table to eat there. That was a bit uncomfortable for me as a guest and would also be an unfavorable place for me if I worked there. All in all, pretty nice. Unfortunately, the pool table was already occupied. Maybe next time 💪

What should I write? Everything was great, nothing to complain about. That's exactly how we imagined it!!!! Normally we just wanted to go out for something to eat and then go home, but we ended up staying there most of the day. First we ordered something to drink and made ourselves comfortable then looked around a bit as it was something different for us, they have a small playground there which is good for the children, they also have a beer garden which was very nice in this hot weather!!! Then they just have a sports room with a pool table and darts to play, that's also the reason why we stayed longer!😅!!! But let's come to the most important thing, the staff was super nice, always a smile 😃 on their faces and the food 🤤 just as we imagined it was simply delicious! By the way, we had a sirloin steak with rosemary potatoes and an entrecote, both of which were really juicy and tender!!!🥩 The cocktails were also delicious. We told the waiter to just surprise us, which he did!🍸! So to sum up, if you want to go out for a delicious meal and be greeted very nicely and served nicely, go right there!👍

Apart from the steaks, you can also taste all the convenience products, frozen burgers, wings, etc. Schnitzel went back to the neighbor. No EC payment only cash in 2025, Nachtigall ick hear you trapsen....., Nice staff, luckily there is an alternative to the Warsteiner, cool König Ludwig light. During public viewing the kitchen is totally overloaded, waiting time up to 1.5 hours at our table.
