McDonald's in Erkner

I've eaten there several times, and this was the third time something was wrong with the food. My friend and I felt incredibly sick shortly after eating. The next day, I wanted to eat a leftover burger, and again I felt sick after just one bite. The staff isn't very friendly, and you can barely understand them when they wish you bon appétit (if they even do). Furthermore, the restaurant isn't very clean, especially the restrooms, which I find very dirty. Overall, I think McDonald's definitely needs improvement.

The slowest branch I know! Two ice creams took 15 minutes!

Forget about that place...with a larger order at the McDrive, something is always missing...out of three Cokes, two have the wrong mix and don't taste like Coke but just like water...and milkshakes are completely unavailable, and have been for over a year.

A very fast order and very clean, unlike others.

The food is okay. McDonald's is McDonald's, but for a restaurant of this chain, this branch is quite good. I deducted two stars for the food because occasionally you get the wrong order, and sometimes it's already very cold. But the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The staff is where this branch really shines.

Well, I think Mc's is great, and I think Mc's likes me too, because last time I ordered 20 chicken nuggets with a Coke, I actually got 24 nuggets. A big thanks to whoever put them in my mouth. That's happened to me twice now. I'll definitely be back, awesome place.

A small but nice branch with an outdoor area and no McCafé. It's a great place to stop for a while. My kids like it, too.

Once and never again. A low-class McDonald's. Long wait for food even though the place wasn't crowded. Everything was dirty and uncleaned. I didn't even bother to use the restroom.

A cozy little branch in the heart of Erkner. The food was excellent, except for a small mistake in my order. However, the friendly manager immediately noticed it and promptly replaced it. The restrooms were also clean and well-maintained.

No wheelchair access. Unfriendly staff. The outside tables were wet, even though the rain had stopped for at least five hours and the waitresses had time due to the low number of customers. The clerk said, "We don't usually have ice cream at this time," and continued, "The clerk ignored us, and we will never go to this strange company again."

Unfortunately I have to deduct 2 points because there was no Mac Rib and no Fish Mac, but the service employee was very nice and recommended Cheese and Chilli 🍔 and I agreed to that.

If you want to order here, I recommend taking a day off work. A 15-minute wait for two small burgers is not uncommon, and one of the two burgers was already in the bag and thus got nice and cold in that 15 minutes. I don't want to know how long you have to wait for a larger order. The employees sometimes walk around like zombies. Unfortunately, it often seems as if the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. If the place were at least packed, I would even be understanding, but not when it's completely empty. On top of that, there are huge language barriers because some of the employees can hardly speak German. The quality of the food unfortunately also varies greatly. I would like it if this place would perhaps review and optimize its processes and also make sure to employ staff who don't require Google Translate every time. However, I fear that in the end everything will stay the same.

Today, on August 13, 2025, at 9:02 PM, I ordered and paid for two regular cheeseburgers at the McDonald's Drive-Thru. After about a 30-minute wait, I didn't receive any cheeseburgers. I had to leave urgently for my shift, and the company is at the same location. Thanks for nothing, absolutely low performance. I will strongly advise my company not to visit this branch again. After all, we have about 150 employees who work in the immediate vicinity of this branch and have also visited it during their breaks. That's a good way to scare away customers.

A disaster. The food is swapped around, you can't even call it fast food, the salad is old, and the organization is terrible. Unfortunately, it only gets worse with each visit.

Well, where do you start? They haven't been able to get milkshakes for months, but today I wanted Coke Zero, which didn't work either. Very, very slow staff. Even when the store is relatively empty, the food sometimes takes up to 30 minutes to arrive. Like today, for example. Conclusion: Make compromises if you want everything that's standard at other stores. Do you have enough time?: definitely!!!!

Full, but tasty and friendly service

These days, no matter which McDonald's you go to, it's like Russian roulette when it comes to what you get. At Happy Meal, you start with water and apple spritzer. The burgers are cold, and the wait is okay.

Never again. I ordered a Big Mac without cheese. What did I get? With cheese? Cold fries and not even a napkin. I also saw someone with a cigarette in their hand. When they called him, they didn't even clean their hands.

Unfortunately, the milkshake machine is often broken.

A burger (6.99€) was not packed. I only checked at home. I will never do that again and from now on I will always check on site.

A resounding NO! I wiped the table myself; it was completely filthy. But the waitress at the counter willingly gave me a rag. There were no shakes at all; apparently, the shake machine was broken (and it was summer, no less). Overall, this McDonald's gives off a rather dingy impression. The floor is completely filthy, the restrooms are dirty, and much more (see photos).

I wanted the orca because it was still in the toy window. I got a smurf. If you have other toys you should also change the ones in the window. I'm disappointed. I actually like eating there but I'm disappointed.

Happy Meal with Playmobil Animals It's not clear before purchase that the animals are no longer there. It's difficult to explain that to a child.

Quite an outdated McD, they don't have any new products, the wrap was missing the sauce I ordered, the flurry ice cream with double caramel was half and the caramel was just spit out. Sorry, but I wouldn't expect this in Germany.

Experience at McDonald's – unfortunately disappointing Unfortunately, I've had several bad experiences at this branch. Orders are incomplete – products are regularly forgotten. The quality of the food also leaves a lot to be desired: often sloppy, squashed, and visually unappealing. Furthermore, communication with the staff is sometimes difficult, as hardly anyone speaks German well. Overall, it's a shame, because McDonald's can actually be much better.

Unfortunately, disappointing. The fries were cold and obviously not freshly fried – soggy, soft, and lacking any bite. That's unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant, especially since fries are supposed to be a sure bet. Regarding the crispy chicken: I specifically ordered the chili cheese sauce, but I got sweet and sour sauce (on the burger). The taste was completely off and ruined the whole burger. Whether that was inattention or indifference is debatable – but either way, I wouldn't recommend it. Service was fast, but obviously lacking control or care. Conclusion: Fast, yes – but at the expense of quality and precision. When even basics like hot fries and proper sauce don't work, it's no wonder the reputation is so bad.

This place is getting worse every week. This place has nothing to do with fast food, and almost every time they forget to pack something. For the money you spend there, the way the place is run is disrespectful. We're definitely not coming back.

I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant! The case: Three cheeseburgers were ordered at the drive-thru, and they were ready quite quickly. Before I left, I checked the food again out of skepticism. My instincts were correct: all three cheeseburgers were missing a slice of cheese. So I went to the counter and explained the mistake. The only response I got was a simple "Sorry." The finished cheeseburgers were then unwrapped, the missing slice of cheese was added, and everything was carelessly thrown into a new bag. Quality and service at a reputable company are different! Definitely my last visit!!!

I drive past this McDonald's every day and have often wanted to get a milkshake or ice cream – unfortunately, to no avail. They almost never have ice cream or shakes there, and even popular flavors like pistachio or dragon tongue aren't available at all. Even the regular flavors are practically never available. That's really disappointing, especially in summer. The burgers are usually a bit dry. I suspect this is due to the standardized guidelines for how much sauce can be used – but unfortunately, it often tastes a bit bland. Otherwise, the place is okay. Nothing particularly positive, but also nothing catastrophic – if you don't want a shake or ice cream. There would be more potential if the ice cream and shake problem were finally solved.

The staff were very different, they ripped me off again even though I had a receipt, so I wouldn't recommend this shop and the people couldn't speak a word of German and didn't understand me 😡😡

On every visit, the food selection is limited. Ice cream or milkshakes are almost never available. A visit can be very frustrating. We will avoid this branch in the future.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything good about it. It's definitely not worth going there. The fries were cold and the portions were half-baked; the burgers couldn't have been cooked any worse. Cleanliness doesn't get any stars, even though it was relatively quiet. I just thank you for reminding me how bad McDonald's is. Never again...

For months, a lot of the menu has been unavailable here. And as usual at other restaurants, you should always check your takeaway food to make sure it's complete. I won't even mention other minor technical glitches.

Very friendly staff and clean branch

Unfortunately, this restaurant is regularly overwhelmed by the rush of customers. The cleanliness in the seating area needs improvement: the floor is shiny and sticky in some corners. The associated parking space is far too limited during peak times and there are no alternatives nearby. What should be mentioned positively is that the staff themselves are committed and nice.

Received a chicken burger without chicken...I've never experienced that either...

I've already experienced a lot, but a 10 minute wait in the drive with 3 vehicles is unbelievable. The service staff here are completely overwhelmed. There were times when drinks were free as compensation. Furthermore, there have been no desserts for ages, they are always sold out, there are real professionals here.

No! Ordered two portions of NcFlurry today...I was amazed when it was ready. One portion was OK. The second was only 1/3 of the first! When I asked the lady about it, I was told that that was the normal portion...she put too much in the other one...never again Erkner McDonalds

I'm taking the kids to McDonald's...we get home...a burger is missing, 2x fries and sweet and sour sauce for the nuggets...it's just unbelievable...people aren't able to do their work...it's all on the fucking screen...they don't get shit and to make matters worse, no one answers the phone that I can yell at...Train your staff! And get the vouchers ready at Steinicke...I'll be there soon to pick them up...

Actually, it's unnecessary to write a review for McDonald's. Because of my job, I visit the Erkner branch more regularly. The food is the well-known McDonald's fare and there has never been anything to complain about. Fresh preparation. What I find outstanding and motivates me to write a review about McDonald's here is the friendliness of the staff towards the customers and - at least that's how it seems to me - also towards each other. Thank you!

Everything is just average. You often have long waiting times

The food was relatively good but there was an unbelievable waiting time and the staff didn't understand a word of German. Not recommended :(

Food is great, as expected by McD, staff is ok. The newbees do not speak german, though. And the staff works around the pickup-displays, though, it is either switched off or the numbers are visible as pick up candidate right away, though it is not ready yet. Maybe the timings are controlled, so it is a way to avoid it.

I wanted to grab “a quick breakfast” because I still had 20 minutes left. The branch was almost empty and my order consisted of 3 tiny breakfast citizens. After 16 minutes of waiting, my order arrived. For me, who was under pressure to meet deadlines, it was very annoying when you showed up late for appointments because people were busy. As I said, a fast food restaurant works differently. Especially since the slogan “Breakfast is ready” is advertised.

We waited 1 1/2 hours for our food, it looked like it was thrown away. It's not called a "fast food restaurant" for nothing, and if it were an Italian restaurant or something like that, I would understand it. Just not in a “fast food restaurant” Very disappointed. Not recommended!!

The McDonalds is very bad! Every single time I was there, half of the order was forgotten. So I'm paying for something I don't get, great!!! You should definitely check in the store to see if you got everything.

We've been there a few times and the cleanliness is unbearable. When you go there to have breakfast and there's rubbish lying around everywhere outside, the toilets are dirty, the floor is sticky, there's no toilet paper or hand towels, you wonder what it looks like in the kitchen. The milkshake machine is often broken and food is often mixed up. Unfortunately we avoid going there.

Got a Hamburger Royal TS. Wanted it without cheese, they had to correct the order because they put it in wrong (hints bacon on top) and in the end, they gave me this….no meat at all 😡 That pisses me off. We don’t live close. Waste of time to go back. DO 👏🏻BETTER 👏🏻
