Paparazzi in Augsburg

I visited the restaurant on the afternoon of January 30, 2025, for coffee and cake. The food on offer is good. The price/performance ratio is good. Unfortunately, the behavior of the service staff is a bit odd. They aren't particularly friendly, to say the least, and they blame this on a lack of staff. Their favorite phrase is "immediately" if you want to order or pay. In my case, this "immediately" took almost half an hour twice, even though it wasn't particularly busy. One of my orders was passed on to a colleague, which meant even more waiting time. Regular customers with accounts simply had their booking receipts placed on the table without further comment. There was no question of whether the bookings were correct and whether the guests agreed to them. That day, I was reminded of the service staff in restaurants in the former GDR. No customer focus whatsoever, no need to be particularly friendly. Simply a real shame.

The food was very salty and otherwise tasted really bad. I tried pretty much everything. The texture was strange, and the buffet didn't seem particularly fresh. Furthermore, the restaurant had a dirty feel; the chairs had stains and the freshly cooked plates weren't dried properly. I absolutely can't recommend it.

The prices for beer and wheat €3 are ok for me. Turkish TV is only shown in the restaurant. The food is supposed to be really good, as people report. The beer garden with its 3 beautiful chestnut trees is quiet and cozy.

It was a very great evening with great service and great pizzas. The bowling alley is simple and plain but everything worked and was clean and well maintained.

The kellerbier was good as was the weissbier, service prompt. It's starkbier time and there was no Dopplebock, VERY disappointing...it should be available.
