Great place for authentic Italian food. I'd go back anytime.

A good classic Italian with great prices, friendly service and your standard comfort food. I came to this city tired and irritated from parking and hunger and left a happy fulfilled man.

I've been going here for 20 years and was here again today with my family. It was delicious, as always. I recommend the Salmone al Ricard dish.

Fantastic Italian food! We ordered soup, pasta, pizza, salad and main course with meat. Everything was amazing, especially pasta and main course (big portion). Prices - very affordable.

The pizza was really delicious. Very thin and crispy. The service was fast, and the food arrived quickly.

Simple (and) good. We've been coming here regularly for almost three decades. The selection and service have remained virtually consistent over the years—never change a winning team. If you're looking for simply good Italian food at still very reasonable prices, this is the place for you.

We went for dinner and were delighted. The food was very good, everything had an authentic flavor, well cooked, and served perfectly. We ordered pasta and calzzone, and nothing went wrong. We also tried the pizza, and it was a great choice: thin, crispy crust with a good balance of flavors. But the best part was the service. The waiters, who were Italian, were super friendly to us. Since we're Spanish, we understood each other immediately, and everything was very easy and pleasant. They made us feel at home, with that warm, family-like atmosphere that we appreciated. We would definitely return. Great atmosphere, good food, and friendly people serving us.

The ambiance is okay, but typically Italian. The pizzas are okay, but not world-class. The service is fast and friendly.

There were two of us there, and I fondly remembered the past. The chef that Friday evening was not in a good mood at all. The pizza was okay, but could have had a bit more flavor. My turkey with spaghetti in orange sauce was a complete failure; no attention was paid to the turkey while it was roasting, and the sauce wasn't seasoned. Very thin. The spaghetti next door was a waste. The tiramisu wasn't homemade, it was very creamy - even if you order it from an outside source, there are better ones. My companion has Italian and French roots: there, the saying was rightly non, impossibile. Let's consider it a complete outlier, hence 3 stars. So as not to spoil the evening, I didn't mention it. But I'm open to contacting someone; the sales were fine.

There's still the Italian restaurant around the corner with classic cuisine like Mom's. Traditional restaurant with rustic-friendly service at affordable prices.

Delicious food at a very fair price. The restaurant is a little cramped when it is busy, but it is nevertheless nicely decorated. Authentic store that I have been to several times and the quality has been consistent. Recommended

A very cozy traditional Italian restaurant. The food is made with a lot of love and always tastes very good. Definitely worth a visit. Penne Arrabiata and pretty much all types of pizza are recommended.

You can't complain about the prices.

The shop looks inconspicuous, but the staff was extremely friendly and the food was incredibly tasty. Very authentic Italian

I always meet there for a business lunch with a valued colleague from my training. The service is quick and tidy. The food is technically okay for the price. However, the dining room could be a little nicer. it is clean and furnished according to needs. The feel-good factor is still missing. Otherwise, I like to go there again and again 👍

The restaurant is always busy and there is a reason for that. The service is super good and authentically Italian. The food and drinks are always delivered correctly (despite special requests) and in a reasonable time despite being busy. It was very fine and absolutely affordable. The team has always been the same and it shows. No misunderstandings, pleasant atmosphere and good food with good service.

Wir waren gestern hier zu dritt Pizza essen. Meine Wenigkeit mit Frau und mein Freund Armin. Hat eigentlich gut geschmeckt. heute morgen um 5 das böse Erwachsen. Magenschmerzen und Durchfall. Meine Frau das Gleiche. Späterer Anruf beim Kumpel. Das Gleiche. Das stimmt wohl was in der Küche nicht

Ich war dort eingeladen kann also über den Preis nichts sagen. Die Pizza die ich hatte war mit frischem Lachs und Spinat und hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war trotz viel Betrieb sehr nett und immer aufmerksam. 👍

Einfach immer wieder schön, dass sich Authentizität über Jahrzehnte auszahlt und man sich dort sehr gut aufgehoben fühlt. Ein schöner Abend, Danke dafür und gerne wieder, wenn ich mal wieder in Saarbrücken bin. 🥂🍾

Traditioneller Italiener . Küche gut . Preis Leistung stimmen. Hin gehen und gut italienisch essen.. Punkt.

Alteingesessenes Restaurant mit beständiger Qualität und freundlichem Personal

Schnuckelig Trattoria mit ein paar Spezialitäten auf der Karte, zum Beispiel gebackenen Sardinen o. Ä. Sehr nettes, bissel schrulliges Personal. An den sanitären Anlagen sollte mal was auf den heutigen Stand gebracht werden. Kleiner Nachtrag: Ich hab schon oft, aber noch nie so leckeres Vitello tonato genossen. Und der Pizzateig ist erste Sahne.

Super für den Mittagstisch. Preise immer noch absolut OK. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Chef bedient hier selbst. Hab nach 3 Jahren wieder hier gegessen und es schmeckt immer noch genau so gut. Parmesan kommt an den Tisch und kann selbst gelöffelt werden bis zum abwinken. So muss das sein.

Gute italienische Gerichte seit fast 30 Jahren Einfach, reichlich, heiß,schmackhaft und günstig. Service ohne jeglichen Mangel. Aufmerksames Team. Ambiente , ordentlich,sauber und offen. Je nach Gästen,hat man das Gefühl in Italien zu sein.

The best Italian Restaurant in Europe I have ever found in a long time. The food will come rather promptly and you’ll never be kept waiting longer than 15mins. The price is most reasonable, for instance almost all pasta fit in the range of €9-10 always served with bread, with a variety of choices (unlike other restaurants you’d pay €15 or €16 for) The two waiters who are nice old men, keep good attention to every guest in the restaurant and will not ignore you when you need them like many other waiters do. I was staying in Saarbrücken for 2 weeks and had my dinner ever other night. I liked it that much.

Uriges Lokal - man fühlt sich wie in Italien. superleckere Pizza, sehr freundliche Bedienung - wir kommen gerne wieder

Nach über 20 Besuchen, die meist ähnlich abliefen, erlaube ich mir eine Bewertung. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis bzgl. des Essens ist wirklich gut. Der Service ist flott und korrekt. Insofern alles gut. Was fehlt ist Freundlichkeit. Sicher an dem einen oder anderen Tisch flammt diese auf, meist bei Bekannten. Ansonsten 08/15 bis fast unfreundlich. Schade eigentlich. Irgendwie gefällt mir das Restaurant und wie gesagt, das Essen ist wirklich ok. Aber ein Wohlfühlfaktor stellte sich nur bedingt ein. Heute mein letztes Mal. Wünsche dem Traditionsrestaurant aufrichtig alles Gute für die Zukunft.

War ein sehr gutes Essen mit gutem Personal. Das Ambiente ist sehr modern und leider etwas laut.

Die Pizza ist einfach super! toll gebacken klasse im Geschmack. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Gibt bessere, gibt schlechtere. Man macht aber nichts falsch damit dort essen zu gehen, Preis/Leistung passt.

Gutes und schnelles Essen. Aber eine 0,5l Apfelschorle für 5€ finde ich zu teuer.

Ein einfaches, bodenständiges italienisches Lokal. Meeresfrüchte-Risotto (10 EUR) gut und angemessene Portion. Bier (0,5 l Bitburger) mit 5 EUR ziemlich teuer.

Eine der wenigen authentischen Italiener, seit 35 Jahren, die es noch gibt. Fein, nett, angenehm. Bruschetta mit Sardellen, Pizza Diavolo. So muss das sein! Auch anderes.

Kleines aber feines italienisches Restaurant mit familiärem Ambiente, bodenständiger u. leckerer Speisen- u. Getränkeauswahl ohne Schnickschnack. Mein persönliches "Highlight" sind die Crespelle ;) Auch wenn es etwas abgelegen liegt, empfiehlt sich eine Tischreservierung ...

Sehr angenehmes Restaurant. Man wird höflich bedient, und sogar mein kleiner Hund wurde mit Leckereien versorgt. 👍👍👍

Alteingesessener gemütlicher Italiener. Ehrliches Essen ohne viel Tamtam. Beachtenswert war der Traffic, die Tische waren noch nicht richtig leer, da kamen schon neue Gäste.
