Great vibe, service and food. 12 courses were too many, after the 6th there was only one bite of each to taste, which is such a shame because every course was absolutely delicious, just too well-intentioned. Price/performance 60€+20€shots for 12 is unbelievably on the level. Cocktail shot accompaniment was perfectly coordinated. Always my pleasure!

I'm a little surprised at the many good reviews this restaurant receives. There were two of us today and we had hummus and Korean chicken. Both were average at best. The same applies to the waitresses. I can't understand all the great reviews. However, I'll be back to see if I just ate the wrong thing on the wrong day.

The atmosphere was fantastic! While the food and bread were a bit on the greasy side for my preference, the presentation was excellent, and the service was impressively quick. Location good.

Love the concept of the place. Came here for dinner and ordered a very tasty spicy margarita and very delicious fish & chips, the portion was also enormous, couldn't finish it all by myself. I also tried the Korean chicken, also very good and the Halloumi fries which I would definitely recommend. A place I would definitely come back!

Honestly the place is nice the atmosphere too, but the service is so bad that it makes it not make a difference. The waitresses act as if you don’t deserve to be talked to 😅 Like one waitress legit didn’t look at us in the eyes while taking our order.

The vibe is right. Paradoxically, everyone is welcome, yet it also feels exclusive in that the community is unapologetically tolerant and diverse. I adored this place for weekend drinks and will be back.

Great food and great atmosphere 👌🏻!

We made reservations for 35 people and were very pleasantly surprised at how well the evening went with such a large group, really great! We had two long tables and with the QR code payment system everyone could order (from €10) themselves and pay directly on their cell phone. This saved us from having to do tedious accounting at the end, thank you very much for that! A few times we had to ask about missing dishes or drinks, but given the size of the group that was ok. Food wasn't cheap, but very tasty. Ambiance cool, a bit loud. Staff very helpful and friendly. It was a great evening, thank you! ☺️🙏

Seating options are great and very variable. The food was very tasty, from starter to main course and dessert. Choice between three cuisines offers something for every appetite.

The food was not good despite my expectations since everyone loves the place and it’s fairly pricey for NK: everything was too salty, not enough other flavors, Bao buns were terrible. Guess it’s too hyped. Service was nice at least.

I had a halloumi salad which was excellent! Great portion size and really delicious! The accompanying garlic bread could have done with some salt, but otherwise it was really all very delicious. The alcohol free “Tante Emma” cocktail is weird, but the alcohol free Spritz is nice. The staff were extremely attentive and patient even when we were there with a big group of 10. The bar area is also nice. Thanks for a great evening!

Very cool atmosphere, the food and bread were bit too greasy for my taste but very nice presentation and fast service! Portion sizes were great! 😊 Note that they will kick you out after 1:45 hours 😅 Were seated in the dining area wich was’t the most comfortable compared to the bar / lounge? Will definitely come back for the cocktails and the atmosphere!

Great athmoaphere but food was disapointing

The concept with three different kitchens is great, you sit in a nicely designed guest room with cozy lighting. The food was pretty good - truffle fries, chicken with Waldorf salad, pulpo. Great! Unfortunately the service is really bad. The concept is little or not explained at all, nobody “sells” the really good products and takes the guests by the hand. This has nothing to do with “typical Berlin” and is simply not appropriate. Cutlery is not adjusted to the number of guests, so some of us had to reorder individual items several times. There were five of us and we ordered bread & olives - three half slices came. When we pointed out a broken bowl, the employee just shrugged her shoulders. When we wanted to order our main courses, we were told: “You haven't had a main course yet? Actually, you have to leave soon. A maximum of 90 minutes!” For example, we would have liked to have known that when we made the reservation or, at the latest, when we entered the restaurant. We were still very entertained by the stupidity of the employees. It was really wonderfully unprofessional - you wouldn't believe it. But, as I said: food great.

Unfortunately it is a smoking café. The drinks were okay, and while the ambiance is nice, the seating isn't particularly comfortable. The cleanliness of the toilets could also be better.

I know there are so many reviews that say the staff is rude, but I thought, surely they won't be rude to US! WRONG. I write this because the kitchens work hard to turn out delicious food and the wait staff was attentive. We drank wine, ordered from all 3 kitchens, and enjoyed it all very much. What went awry? We arrived 10 minutes late. It was early, 18:30, the place wasn't busy and we were sat with a warning that we could only say 90 minutes, now 70. That seemed short. OK. We ordered (takes a while and dishes don't come out all at once) and were eating when we were told by the hostess that we would need to leave in 20 minutes, they needed our table. We looked around to a half-empty restaurant, no line at the door and nobody sitting at the bar waiting. No problem, I flagged someone down to pay our bill before finishing our food. The hostess came by AGAIN and said, "you need to pay your bill", I NICELY shared that we had. She turned and left. Only to come back AGAIN at exactly 20:00 and say, "You need to leave, I need your table." We stood up and exited. Nobody was waiting. Not a single person at the bar. Loads of tables. This experience with the hostess was among the most unkind and such a poor public representation of queer culture. The management needs to re-think their hostess situation, unless she is the management, then I guess just take this place off your list. Far too many excellent restaurants in Berlin to tolerate this crap.

Very nice restaurant with 3 different cuisines (Thai, Cypriot and Sicilian). We had a peach and halloumi salad with delicious homemade bread fried with oil and herbs and an apricot and goat cheese salad. The service was very good and the staff were very helpful if you had any questions. They weren't annoyed when we asked about the dishes from the neighboring tables. We also had a blood orange liqueur drink, but unfortunately it was way too sour because the lemon/lime? was far too dominant. But all in all it was a nice evening with delicious food. We'll be back.

The quality of the food is deteriorating...in spite of being a n overhyped place with often unfriendly stuff, I keep coming back because of the food. But last two times, the food was mediocre...so Paolo Pinkel, I hope there won't be 3rd strike

Awww. I loved this place until they were totally jerks. The food was so good. We were greeted warmly and sat and received food service. We were warned 20 minutes prior to our reservation time expiring. No problem. We paid and were still finishing our wine. The second 8P struck, the hostess asked us to leave as the next party was waiting. We looked around and there were about 20 people in the entire restaurant. We left promptly, of course, and saw zero people waiting in the bar or anywhere. It felt like we were singled out and mocked and forced to leave. And we had really felt like it was a great experience until then. Left feeling terrible. Who leaves feeling sad after dining? Well, the guests at Paolo Pinkel.

I was there the night the bouncer harassed guests and I can fully confirm everything! The food was actually very good and I would rate the dishes as good value for money. However, you have to be lucky with both the plates and the waiters; My roast beef sandwich was missing cheese, my buddy's exact same order had hardly any truffle mayo. During service there was a nice waitress (short, with curly hair), the other was rather snotty and later smoked in the immediate vicinity of the food and my pregnant friend. And yes, the bouncer didn't work at all. Food 4/5 Price 4/5 Ambience 3/5 Service 3/5 Door 1/5

The Asian dumplings are absolutely tasteless and probably also frozen goods. Dipped in the soy sauce then totally over salted. The price for this heap of tastelessness is far too high. It's very uncomfortable to sit and eat, like in a canteen, and it's also far too loud for conversation. Super annoying that as a German you have to speak English in Germany to order something. Absolute hipster shop. Lots of men in the women's toilet and a group of people in the large disabled toilet. Despite a smoking lounge at the back, people also smoke at the front of the bar (e.g. the blonde bartender). That was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I absolutely can't understand the hype!

I love the Paolo Pinkel Restaurant & its bar. The Cypriot cuisine tastes best in the restaurant. Very delicious! Unfortunately the portions feel like they are getting smaller and smaller, which is a bit of a shame. The service is often very good, depending on who is serving. Some employees are not particularly motivated and unfortunately it sometimes shows. Nevertheless, a really nice shop with a cool atmosphere. I really enjoy going here. The drinks are super tasty, especially the Spicy Margarita tastes really good!

The three of us were here last night. We ordered a few dishes from each kitchen. They were nicely prepared and tasted okay. Unfortunately we were a bit lacking in spices. Anyone who likes a more neutral taste is in good hands here. The service was very nice, but only in English.

We were here last night with a large group. The food was quite okay. The sandwiches were tasty but the other things we ordered were ok. Price performance was therefore not that good. But why I'm writing a review is the following reason: the bouncer Unfortunately, we had a few racial comments thrown at us. We were a group of Asians and were allowed to hear “there are Kim and Kim” when we came in. (Allusion to Kim Jong Un ??) It didn't have to be that way. The bouncer also dropped a pot while putting the plants away. He then pushes a person in our group and says, “Why are you doing that??” - but he had nothing to do with it. When we repeated this he suddenly said “it's just kidding” - it wasn't that funny because the waitresses thought it was us. Too bad.☹️

Food drinks and waiters/waitresses are amazing but the door man gets drunks and racist during the night. He was so drunk and destroyed a plant and balmed it on us. We were there for a birthday party and spent 700€…

Unfortunately we didn't like it, the food was cold and not particularly well seasoned.

3 cuisines in one: Italian, Cypriot and Thai. You want something good, but you're not sure what, here you will surely find inspiration and satisfaction for your palate.

3 fantastic cuisines in one place.

What is, on the one hand, a lively trendy bar where you can drink delicious drinks until late, accompanied by techno vibes, is also a diverse restaurant in the evening. The Paolo Pinkel scores points with three different cuisines, which are available in all of them Executions were very successful. The Cypriot cuisine was particularly delicious. The dips are excellent and the bread is very crispy. Highly recommended as a small snack with wine. Of course, it's particularly nice to sit in the large outdoor area when the sun is shining, but it fills up quickly when the weather is good, so it's better to reserve if there are several people.

The cocktails were delicious and so was the food. The service was very nice, although everyone was an English speaker. I think it's nice that there are dishes that are easy to share with the group, so everyone can try something from different cuisines. When it's full in the evening, the acoustics are really bad, that was the only thing I didn't like.

I didn't try the food, but the drinks were excellent, great atmosphere to have some beers, and they made me one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had.

Italian food is great. Focaccia, eggplant, beef tartare all hits.

The restaurant is stylishly furnished. Unfortunately, it was completely overcrowded even at an early hour. You can't meet here for a relaxed meal. Service could only speak English. That's okay, but then at least if you order in English, you should be able to expect the staff to know common grape varieties if you offer high-priced dishes, or to train the staff in this regard. Because of the volume, it was difficult to have a conversation and you just ordered something to complete the ordering process. Service was therefore more like a fast food restaurant like McDonald's. I ate the ceviche there. Portion was very small and was served without any side dishes. Not enough as a main course and not particularly tasty for the price. I can't speak for the other dishes. But the card sounds very good. For a restaurant evening with high-priced dishes, I prefer to choose a quieter restaurant with service staff that is appropriate for the prices.

I would definitely give 5 stars for this place. The mood is good there. It’s queer friendly. People who go there have very cool vibe. I love their style. The Korean food was really good and the service too. To be honest I was shocked that the staff were so kind bc most of the time Berlin staff are not the friendly ones in bars and restaurants. So finally it’s a good reason to tip more!! It’s suitable for groups as they have big tables. Highly recommending it! It’s really one of my fav in this area of Berlin!

Fantastic food. Although somewhat expensive, we loved the flavor and presentation. The space is cool, very Berlin, with a separate room with an art exhibition and also for private events. Main room is non-smoking, second exhibition room also suitable for smokers. Very large bathrooms. There is also ample space outside, there are tables for about 4-5 groups.

I give it a star because it doesn't leave me any less, they have a guy at the door who offers us entry and the bald man they have at the door just like Luis de la Fuente suddenly says that we can't enter and people are coming in right under our noses,

At the beginning this place had a good start. Then something happened: the staff is very rude, the music is awful, the cocktails are very bad, and most of all the prices are skyrocketed. But you can be sure that, even if you leave a tip, no one will smile at you or say thanks.

We waited long time to get asked for the drinks we wanted, they served some food dishes before than the drinks and drinks came out separately and late. We understand that food is cooked in different kitchens but still some took too long to be out. Portions are small in comparison with price, food is good but we expect more for the prices that are set. We were also approached by the person who is at the door checking people in, who didn’t have a very nice attitude, and she wanted to make us pay right away when we finished eating making us feel she wanted to kick us out. The place is awesome but definitely better places to go in thr city.

Wannabe fine dining experience. Food doesn’t live up to the expectations. Taste of hummus overpowers the lamb 10 fold and when the best part of the dish is bread then something is terribly off.

Top! Insane food concept paired with good drinks and attentive service. You can be served in 3 different directions and simply feel good. We were there with a large group of people from work and were able to have a great meal together. See you soon, I'll definitely be back!

In itself a great restaurant, great cocktails and long drinks. The concept is also great. Unfortunately it is always very crowded (so make a reservation in advance) and very loud. It's hard to have a conversation while eating without speaking really loudly. Due to the three different cuisines, none of the dishes arrive at the same time, which is something you should know in advance. Sometimes the staff is very stressed by the high number of visitors, which is why we occasionally responded to orders, requests and comments with annoyance.

In the evening you can choose from different cuisines and on weekends there is an outstanding breakfast. Contrary to some older reviews, the service is great, everyone is very nice and accommodating. Coffee and cocktails are also excellent, so you can easily spend the whole day here. Especially in a large group you can sit comfortably at a table here, and further up and outside you can also sit very comfortably in smaller groups. Recommendation through and through.

Were there for breakfast on Saturday. very good food, great service and a big recommendation. Because it was so bad, we stayed until the evening menu and also had dinner, which was really just as good as the breakfast.

very Berlin style interior architecture. Lovely beautiful waitress. Wonderful atmosphere. It’s a nice place to meet up with friends. I ordered Phat Thai. Phat Thai could be really delicious. Their Phat Thai is painful to swallow for me personally. It tastes like plain sriracha sauce. I am very looking forward to try more dishes there. Fresh Helles beer is lovely. Pils is a bit bitter. Overall I think it a worth visiting restaurant!

I wrote my master's thesis about places like Paolo Pinkel and their importance in our culture, less as a place for eating and coming together, but rather, as a place to enact a sad0-mas0chistic humiliation ritual that we crave to fill our God-shaped hole. We hate ourselves and each other! We earn money throughout the day so we can waste it in each other's company on things we don't want or need! The world is ending, but dag nab it -- let it end after I finish my meal of Asian-Italian-Peruvian fusion or else I'll friggin' pop off!

This restaurant/Bar is so cute. The drinks were amazing and the food. The vibe is really nice in there. Fantastic staff especially the bar people. Very close to the train station. Outside seating as well as inside seating. The decor is beautiful.

I love the concept of the place, the food is super delicious and it has never failed me. However, I think that the service is not enough for the number of people who go. It can also be very noisy if you want to talk to someone and a little uncomfortable since you share a table with others.

Food is very average, drinks are average but prices are above average. For dining it, it's a pass. Not worth it IMO. There are many better restaurants with the same price point or little higher but much better Atmosphere, vibe and options.

Atmosphere is relaxed and cool, the food from the three kitchens is really tasty and the cocktails and other drinks are very good. The kitchens take orders until relatively late and the bar stays open too. Good for groups because there are (long) large tables.

We always enjoy a lot the food there! It always get very crowded and loud but that doesn’t seem to compromise on service and quality. We love bringing friends from out of town cause it has the Berlin vibes!
