Very tasty food, just takes a little longer

The quality of the food was exceptionally good, but we had to wait over 70 minutes for it.

We had dinner there on a Friday. Sat outside and were not served/ignored despite waving/hand signals. After 15 minutes we were able to wave a gentleman over to us and asked for the card. After another 15 minutes this arrived and we were able to order drinks. These came quickly. We had gyros gratinated twice with fries. The food was really not good and tasted like offal. We would never eat there again. Great location, but lousy service for high prices!

Restaurant visit on September 14th, 2024 at 6:15 p.m.!! Never again 😁!!. We had to wait 30 minutes to get drinks. wait🤪. After asking twice (skewers were on the grill), our food came after 1 hour and 50 minutes. The food was still luke warm!! The boss wanted to treat us to coffee. No apology, no friendliness towards paying guests!!! We left the location without a bill. So, never again!!!

Never again! Waited 80 (Eighty!) minutes for the food. When the first of us wanted to go without food, we finally got the food we had been waiting for. In the meantime, no more drinks were delivered. Service was unfriendly, there was no apology or compensation. My gyros were not fresh, but warmed in the oven and therefore naturally dry. You can't go back here. The price is quite high for the whole thing.

We waited about 90 minutes for our food. The food was good, but that was it. There are better places in town. Not recommended

We were there with a small group of six people; 5 stars in every respect for food, service, ambience, timing etc.

A Greek restaurant near the spa park. We were there shortly before 6 p.m. and had to wait until 7:30 p.m. for our food. In the meantime we had pointed out to a service person that our waiting time was already very long and that we were waiting for our food. She wanted to check the kitchen, but didn't give us any feedback. After an estimated 20 minutes we spoke to another waitress and told her that we had already asked for the food. She then informed us that it wouldn't be long. We received our food at 7:30 p.m. The chicken gyro was greasy. The potato chips were delicious. When we finished eating, I asked for the bill, noting that I would like to reduce it by 20% due to the long wait. The service staff showed no insight or understanding. On the contrary: “The waiting times are normal”. Even after further argument, there wasn't even an apology or anything like that. She then left the table with the words: "You can get an ouzo, nothing more." A short time later she brought the bill and at that point we tried to point out to her that this was absolutely not customer-friendly. Nothing really came back to that. At the end she wanted to bring us a coffee but we decided not to. Conclusion: I cannot recommend this restaurant. I don't think it's usual to wait over an hour and saying it's normal doesn't make it any better. The food was still heavy in the stomach and caused problems afterwards!

It could have been so nice, but... First things first: the cards came quickly, the order was taken quickly and the drinks and salad were also on the table quite quickly. And then you had to wait. The food from the other tables came in a different order to the guests' arrival or their orders. The whole thing was coupled with unmotivated service that could hardly be described as unfriendly. There was no attempt at all to pretend to be there for the guest. The food was still ok. The contact grill did a good job. The fries were really bad! Sustainability does not mean significantly exceeding the recommended period of use of frying fat. The criticism was either ignored or ignored - I couldn't tell. The prices are almost ridiculously expensive. EUR 19 for a bifteki (big and good) with fries (bad)!?! The places outside are nice, inside they are calmly modern. All in all, a unique experience, in every sense of the word.

As other guests have already described, the delivery of the food takes a long time, even though there wasn't much going on. We waited over an hour until the food finally came. But it was very good. The weak point here is the service and the organization. Even the espresso took forever and was simply forgotten twice. As far as the long waiting times are concerned: Even if there is only one cook in the kitchen, this can be communicated and we as guests then understand this. And if it takes too long, you give the guests an ouzo and apologize. No problem at all. But the owner, who was completely resistant to advice, couldn't and didn't want to imagine that you could give the guests an ouzo. But apparently she doesn't need any tips because the restaurant was full the next evening. So from her point of view: everything is great 😁😁😁

We were there with a group of young people. We were able to place an order after 20 minutes, and the food arrived after an incredible 1 hour and 45 minutes! It tasted mediocre and was partly cold. A big disappointment that we found such a bad Greek restaurant.

Wenn man etwa bestellen möchte, muss man schon mehrfach als Bittsteller nachfragen und dann doch noch über 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten.

The best Greek in the area! Great location, usually with live music by local musicians in the restaurant alley. You feel like you're on vacation. The service is very friendly and the food always tastes very good! Price performance is also right. Even when there is a lot going on, waiting times are announced by the service. Guests with dogs are also welcome.

Unfortunately, our visit was characterized by long waiting times. Drinks took 20-30 minutes to arrive after ordering and food took a full 1 hour and 45 minutes. The side salad was served 20 minutes before the actual dish. In addition, after 20 minutes the waitress had to ask what we had ordered

We were there with a group. The service was nice. The gyro was ok, nothing special, but at €18.50 it was the most expensive we've ever had. The moussaka came in a baking dish and was unfortunately very greasy and black on top. €19.50. A glass (cheaper) of Demestica €7 and a bottle of water €8.50. Sorry, dear restaurateurs, if you continue to constantly raise prices, we'll stay at home.

The food was definitely okay. Unfortunately that was it. The whole service was a complete disaster. Everything is totally disorganized. The starter came with the main course and a total wait of an hour for the food is not necessarily the norm. This is how you ruin a good restaurant if the service is bad.

We ate dishes 62 & 64 and were very disappointed with both. The Giros was chicken and wasn't cooked through. The skewer was hard and dry. The tzatziki was the best.

Our visit to the restaurant was an absolute failure. Long waiting times. The food didn't make a good impression. The service responded 0 to constructive criticism. The starter (Mese plate) looked like something from the wholesale shelf. The salad was “rounded off” with the well-known thick balsamic cream dressing like in the 70s… unfortunately no fresh yogurt dressing. We continued with the Crete platter for 2 people. The meat didn't seem to be of high quality and was very wobbly. The icing on the cake was the scalloped potatoes... which were advertised as a house specialty and which we ordered specifically. These turned out to be potatoes drowned in mayonnaise and baked with cheese…. Not edible for our taste. We had 2/3 of the main course returned and expressed our displeasure, but our comments about the grievances were dismissed with the hint that the regular customers would like it that way. There was also no discount despite the complaint. We were there for the first and last time.

Had dinner there with friends today for my birthday. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. We can recommend the restaurant.

I can't understand the bad reviews. I travel around a lot for work and always like to stop at a Greek restaurant. I thought the gyros with the fries and the tzatziki were very good. I didn't miss anything. The service was friendly and attentive. If possible I will come here again.

Went there for dinner in the evening in a small group. We had already reserved a table in advance and that was a good thing as the restaurant was well attended. I was assigned a table straight away at reception and had no stress when ordering. The dishes aren't huge but you'll definitely feel full. Quality comes before quantity here and that's a good thing. Service is also very good and we were also given one or two ouzos.

Came in first and left last. Had to wait 40 minutes for an iced coffee. It only came after asking 4 times. Other table companions had already finished for a long time

A lot of things are just not right like many people here don't like the restaurant. People should eat somewhere else. We didn't have to wait long. The service was very nice, even though the restaurant was very busy. And we got our drinks quickly too. The meal didn't take very long either. In the meantime you can have a chat. But people can hardly do that anymore, they prefer to complain. At the end the food tasted very good and there was also a second Quzo. Please keep it up.

I give it 5 stars for the ambience. But unfortunately that alone is not enough! The service was friendly, but the organization was a disaster. The food, well, what can I say. The meat was too dry, the fries too dark and also dry. The vegetarian pan was not what it said on the menu! It wasn't a vegetarian mixed stir fry, just green beans with burnt potato slices. A small slice of eggplant and no broad beans. The sheep cheese was tasteless. Unfortunately very very disappointing! I told the service about this and the young lady came back from the kitchen totally upset! The kitchen can't handle constructive criticism!! We won't be coming back and won't recommend you!!

Ordered food there and came with several black hairs on top. There was hair even on the bread. Went back and got the dish we ordered again with even more hair on it. One waitress (presumably the boss) reacted cheekily and rudely. Came to the table and just made a questioning hand gesture, to which I replied that there was hair on it again. There was no response or apology, just an eye roll. The other waitress was very friendly and empathetic (thanks), but she couldn't eat anything there and never again.

The food is quite expensive. If it was still good, I wouldn't care. Dear people, don't eat there. It doesn't taste like anything. It's super greasy. Spices are probably not used and there is no salt either. Save yourself the money. The service is very good and friendly and I felt sorry for the waitress, she would have liked to sink into the ground.

My husband and I spontaneously went out for dinner today. Both dishes from the oven were burnt on top. Mine particularly black which led to a complaint and return. Then I ordered something else The dishes are expensive and the expectations are correspondingly high. But what you get is not up to par. The salad was mini and carelessly put together Dishes in quality not recommended. The toilets dirty, the floors in the ladies room and the stairs up to the toilets dirty. We will not visit this restaurant again in the future.

I waited for this Strudel for an hour and a half, a lot of people didn’t have time to serve, there were two waiters for everyone, to place an order they also waited 30 minutes, in general you don’t need to go there hungry!!!! The atmosphere is good but the service leaves much to be desired.

The wrong dishes were constantly brought to the tables. The service is completely overwhelmed. The ambience is very nice, but not clean. It hasn't been cleaned in a while. There were crumbs and old napkins under our table. No different in the toilets and no more paper towels. Something like that shouldn't happen! We definitely won't be coming back! Price/performance is not right here at all. There's definitely a better restaurant just around the corner!

Spoiled evening!! It took 20 minutes for the drink to be absorbed. Another colleague appeared after another 1/4 hour and picked up the food. He asked what you wanted to drink with your meal. I then explained, that we had already ordered the drinks. After 10 minutes he came back and explained that he had to take the drinks again. There was no explanation or apology. After another wait of about 8 minutes, the drinks arrived. Half of the dishes arrived 50 minutes later and the rest 10 minutes later. The beef liver was more like liver goulash, totally burnt and dry. The onions excelled The liver was long, 9/10ths were black. No attention was paid to the liver and no more was eaten. The appetite was gone and a comment was not possible because the service had stopped work. The young boss came to excavate and the situation was explained to her. There was no reaction and she left without a word with the used plates. The bill came and the damaged beef liver was charged for. After we pointed this out to the waiter, he said he couldn't do it. When we explained that we would no longer visit the Greek restaurant, he explained as we left the restaurant that no one would be forced to go there To eat locally. Since you can't give 0 stars, it was given 1 but it wasn't justified.

Eating here is a disaster. We arrived at 6:20 p.m. and had to wait 20-30 minutes until we could order. This was no different for the other guests, if not longer. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting the food was served, for others the waiting time was even longer and every time they said “The food is coming soon, I’ll ask” The portion is very puny for the price. The food is too salty and the salad is sour, giving you a stomach ache. Customers are served the wrong food after a very, very long wait. It's worth the price zero. And when you bring it up, the waiter argues with you and speaks to you with the words "I swear" "brother" and is not able to talk to you rationally. If possible I would even offer 0 stars.

It was a disaster having to wait over an hour for the drinks and another hour and a half for the food. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Extremely long waiting times for the service staff. The food was very mediocre. Not recommended at all.

The gyros in Metaxa sauce was swimming in fat, the sauce didn't taste like anything except cream. The mixed salad was brought carelessly much later and was covered with a cheap yogurt sauce. The complaint only came from service, I'll pass it on and I didn't hear or see anyone else. After a good 1/4 hour and three attempts, I still hadn't been given the bill. But as an honest citizen you pay anyway. I can now walk past this restaurant without knowing.

Food nothing special for a restaurant rather bad. Very long waiting times of 1 1/2 hours for the food to arrive even though the restaurant wasn't full. Then the toilet was a disaster, see photo. Thank God I was there after dinner otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat another bite. The only thing that was okay here is the staff, they were very nice.

We were there again today after a long time. New Year's Eve, as expected, it was full, the table was there and available at the promised time. The food was very tasty, the staff was friendly but understandably stressed, the restaurant was full = longer waiting time = was to be expected, everything was good and great. The prices and portions are largely reasonable, but in my opinion they are too high for side dishes and sauces. Good Greek food. Large selection of typical Greek dishes, with the usual "mixed plates/platters". Great weather and ambience, in the middle of the oldest pedestrian zone in the world (350 years). Friendly staff, fast service, the prices are fair for both the drinks and the food. Everything okay. Gladly again at any time.

A good two years ago this was a top address with delicious food, friendly service and a high feel-good factor. Today the complete opposite was the case. We have never had such a bad meal in a Greek restaurant as we did today in Panorama! The result of 5 dishes: The gyros was lukewarm, burnt and totally dry. The fries were cold, unsalted and too hard to eat with a fork. On the skewer, one piece of meat was undercooked and the other piece was tough as leather. The rice was cold. Rice and fries were cold in all dishes. The bifteki tasted bland and was unseasoned, as was the liver. The only thing that was spicy was the prices, which were completely inadequate compared to the service. The service was totally unfriendly and seemed completely uninterested. Feel-good factor also zero points. The drinks came after 30 minutes and the salads followed after 45 minutes, with 1 salad missing. But the salads weren't great and seemed carelessly put together. After 2 hours we threatened to leave the restaurant if we didn't get our food immediately. 15 minutes later this was the case with the result already described. The fries that were complained about were replaced in between with identically bad fries. The waitress seemed indifferent anyway. We were just stunned. Overall rating according to school grades: 6!

Sehr langsame Bedienung und eine Stunde auf 3 Gerichte gewartet. Beim Essen hat auch was gefehlt, dies kam dann nachdem fast alles leer war. Brot war von einer Seite schwarz und die Peperoni verbrannt.

Went on a Saturday around 3 p.m. First the positive The location is excellent and the waiter is very nice. On the negative side, I have to say that the gyro was burnt and the fries weren't in the hairdresser for long. My mother's Acropolis plate had the same problem with the gyros and my mother also found the accompanying rice to be too dry and lacking in flavor. Very disappointed with the food and the ambience and service.

A nice Greek restaurant. Good food with good value for money. Can definitely be recommended.

This was definitely the last time we were there. We had the wrong dish, the Pomeranians weren't cooked through and we had to point out 3 times that things were missing. What I find saddest is that when asked "was everything okay?" We addressed the deficiencies and we were not accommodated in any way, be it not charging for the starter or giving a discount on the entire amount. Unfortunately it just went bad.

The food was quite good so far. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for a drink and an hour for the starter salad. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones and several guests complained. Our proper starters were forgotten, as well as sauces. Unfortunately, the service staff didn't pay any attention to new customers who were standing at the front, so they left the restaurant after a certain time. Really incredibly bad service.

Long waiting time. Then we got burnt baguette as a starter and it had to be discussed that that wasn't possible. But new bread would take time! Salt mill from below totally dirty and unappetizing! Metaxa sauce for the pork fillet very watery, as if it should be extended. Ordering the dish twice in 2023 was significantly better. There are other Greek restaurants to try.

The staff was understaffed and unfriendly. Everything took forever. My food was burnt and dry. We were advised not to have dessert as it would take a long time. The wine I ordered wasn't the right one (sweet instead of dry) and was returned.

The restaurant gets three stars for the really beautiful location and the terrace. Unfortunately, we (with a small child) waited over an hour (despite the restaurant being almost empty) for the food. When asked politely, the waitress said “it just takes that long”. The portions were very small for the high price and some of the meat tasted old and dry. When we pointed this out, the waitress said “okay”.

A few years ago the best Greek in Bad Pyrmont, now the worst. Unfriendly to the point of being impossible, endless waiting times, expensive and the quality is getting worse and worse. It's better to go to Alexander the Great, Olympia or Syrtaki, it's much less frustrating.

Sehr enttäuschend. Lange Wartezeit, Kellner die kein Deutsch konnten und nicht verstanden haben was wir bestellen wollten, wir mussten in der Karte auf die Nummer zeigen. Logischerweise kamen dann teilweise andere Gerichte als ursprünglich gewünscht an den Tisch. Entschuldigung Fehlanzeige. Völlig überteuert. Auf einem Kinderteller für 11 Euro ! lagen 10 Pommes. Die Beschwerde wurde erst ignoriert und dann wurde gesagt bei einem Kinderteller wären nicht mehr Pommes dabei. Personal unfreundlich und man fühlt sich wie ein Störfaktor. Einmal und nie wieder.

Wir waren mit 4 kleinen Kindern und 4 Erwachsenen spontan zum Essen Die Bedienung brachte erst nach Aufforderung die Karten !!! Kinderteller 11 Euro für 6 chicken Nuggets mit ein paar Pommes völlig überteuert !!! Das Essen dort ist sehr teuer geworden und gleichzeitig die Portionen kleiner ! Wir gehen dort nicht mehr hin

The Greek restaurant Panorama is located on the main avenue in Bad Pyrmont. You will receive a very warm welcome there. The staff is friendly, competent and approachable. The food tastes excellent and is recommended. The price-performance ratio is ok. It's worth eating there.

The restaurant itself is clean and attractively decorated. The food is OK. Unfortunately, the lady at reception is very dismissive and condescending. The waiter dropped a knife which he then wiped on his pants. There is still room for improvement in terms of friendliness and service. We have experienced Bad Pyrmont differently. We were there with 5 people. With a restaurant that is 45% empty, I expect more.

Ich war vor kurzem dort essen. Es hat lecker geschmeckt ABER... ...Für die Menge fand ich es sehr teuer. ...Die Bedienung war nicht unbedingt freundlich. ...trotz eines ziemlich leeren Lokals mussten wir sehr lange warten. Die Flasche Wasser haben wir nach fast einer halben Stunde und nur nach erneuter Nachfrage bekommen. Das Essen kam erst nach über einer Stunde.

Sehr sehr unfreundliches und genervtes Personal. Nach dem bestellen des Essens und der Nachfrage nach 45 Minuten wann das Essen kommen würde, hieß es 10 Minuten. Dann noch mal 30 Minuten gewartet, dann wurde die Vorspeise und das Hauptgericht auf einmal gebracht. als es um das bezahlen ging, warteten wir wieder und sind dann in das Lokal gegangen, um dort zu bezahlen. Es ging aber nicht nur uns, so waren mehrere Gästen so ,die total genervt und enttäuscht waren

Wir können die vorhergehenden Bewertungen leider nur bestätigen. Keine Empfehlung, trotzdem ist es gut besucht. Vielleicht fehlen die Alternativen, wir waren nur sehr kurz in Bad Pyrmont.

Wir waren gestern, 20.09.23 zum Essen da. Das Schweinefilet war so was von durchgebraten und trocken, man hätte einen Liter Wasser dabei trinken müssen. Der Athen Teller war auch nicht sonderlich. Die Hackfleischrollen waren außen kross und innen total trocken. Beim Schneiden fiel alles schon krümelig auseinander. Nie wieder dahin. Nachdem wir uns beschwert haben kam die volle Rechnung... kein Abzug und vor allem keine Entschuldigung. Das war ein teurer Abend, den wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden.

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend da und das Personal war zu wenig und komplett überfordert. Es wurden Vorspeisen bestellt, aber uns keine Teller gebracht, obwohl wir noch mal extra drauf hingewiesen haben, kamen immer noch keine. Nach ungefähr 2 std. kam dann endlich mal der Salat und jetzt der erste Schock, Irgendwie schmeckte er total vergoren! Wir sagten den Kellner Bescheid und bekam einen neuen, diesmal ohne Möhren und Mais, an dem es wahrscheinlich lag. In der Zwischenzeit verschwand schon die Hälfte der Gäste und man hörte deutlich wie „begeistert“ sie waren. Nach ungefähr 3 std. kam dann endlich mal das Essen nach mehrmaligen Fragen zu uns. Es war durchschnittlich ok. Allerdings waren zwei Gerichte versalzen und mussten wieder zurück. Dafür haben wir jetzt also 3 std gewartet? Da es ein schöner Geburtstag mit der Familie werden sollte, war das ganze natürlich mehr als peinlich. Sie kamen ein auch preislich nicht mal ein bisschen entgegen für diese Blamage. Man wollte uns mit ouzo und Kaffee abspeisen, den man bei so einem Betrag sowieso bei jeden vernünftigen Griechen bekommt. Alles in allen eine Katastrophe!! Es gab aber auch schon Abende zuvor wo alles ok war, aber dieses Mal nicht

Schon lange nicht mehr so einen schlechten Service erlebt. Wir waren zu Fünft dort essen.Es war nicht viel los,trotzdem kamen unsere Speisen erst ca.50 Min.später..nach Bestellung. Während alle schon ihr Essen hatten,musste ich auch meinen Salat noch weitere 15 Min.warten. Es kam nicht mal eine Entschuldigung vom Personal.

Musten sehr lange auf die Speisekarte warten. Die Bedienung hatte keine freundliche Ausstrahlung. Das Essen kam ungefähr 20 Minuten später und es ist sehr lecker, das Essen kann man empfehlen.

Wir waren am 03.09.23 zum goldenen Sonntag in Bad Pyrmont und wollten hier essen. Haben schon Beschwerden am Nachbartisch mitbekommen und uns trotzdem an den Tisch gesetzt. Großer Fehler. Nach 40 Minuten hatten wir noch nicht mal die Vorspeise. Auf Rückfrage keine Erklärung. Gäste, die nach uns gekommen sind, hatten schon Vor- und (!) Hauptspeise. Das geht gar nicht! Jetzt verstehen wir uns, warum das Restaurant das schlechteste am Platz ist!!!

Lieblose unflexible Bedienung die Augenscheinlich keinen Bick hatte. Und das die Gäste im Lokal ihren Lohn bringen sollte unbedingt überdacht werden....

Waren heute zum Abendessen da. Bedienung war netten und freundlich, hatten uns gerade am Tisch platz genommen schon kam die Bedienung. Essen war sehr gut und auch eine große Portion.

Sehr freundlich, Vorspeise und Hauptgang sehr lecker.

Service nicht gerade freundlich und unaufmerksam, Vorspeisen teuer aber lecker. Wie auch schon in anderen Rezessionen beschrieben, ist das Personal alles andere als freundlich. Ich war zweimal da und beide Male wurde irgendwas nicht richtig verstanden und geliefert. Die Krönung: ich fühlte mich als Einzelgast anscheinend nicht ganz willkommen. Ich habe das auch bei anderen beobachtet. Wahrscheinlich einige einzelne Kurgäste. Schade, dass man als Einzelperson nicht vollwertig behandelt wird. Das Gute , das Essen war lecker und das Ambienteistschön. Aber Vorspeisen sind für die Menge sehr teuer.

Sehr sehr lange Wartezeiten bei einem Innensitzplatz (30 Min. Wartezeit bis zur Aufnahme der Getränkebestellung, 1.5 h Wartezeit bis das Essen kam). Auf den Außensitzplätzen deutlich schnellere Bedingungen, wahrscheinlich um die Plätze schnell wieder frei zu bekommen. Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung, zähes Fleisch, das geht bei der Konkurrenz deutlich schmackhafter zu angemessenen Preisen und bei einem Drittel der Wartezeit. Drinnen außerdem sehr hoher Lärmpegel durch laute Musik und offene Raumgestaltung, Gespräche so schwer möglich, für kleine Kinder gab es kein Angebot um die lange Wartezeit zu überbrücken. Wir waren insgesamt fünf Gäste und alle sehr unzufrieden, wir würden hier nicht mehr einkehren.

Zweigeteiltes Urteil. Essen sehr gut, Service und Freundlichkeit sehr verbesserungswürdig! Obwohl das Lokal eigentlich halb leer war, immer sehr lange Wartezeiten. Hauptproblem ist denke ich die Organisation. Beispielsweise kam der Salat zur Vorspeise gleichzeitig mit dem Hauptessen. Wäre akzeptabel gewesen, wenn es zumindest irgendein Kommentar dazu gegeben hätte. Am Nachbartisch kam die Vorspeise sogar erst nachdem her Hauptgang schon gegessen war... Wir sind früher sehr gerne dorthin gegangen. Aber jetzt wird es mindestens eine längere Pause geben!

Leider hatte die Küche wohl keinen guten Tag. Ich esse selten Pommes und freue mich immer, in einem Lokal Frische zu bekommen. Aber diese waren nicht frisch und sehr hart. Meine Fischplatte war deutlich überfritiert. Die Tintenfrischringe und Scampis dunkel und zäh. Das Essen meiner Begleitpersonen ähnlich von der Qualität. Schade. Für mich persönlich war es schade ums Geld. Die Gerichte per se waren aber vom Preis her in Ordnung

Alles dauerte viel zu lang, bis man die Bestellung aufgeben konnte, dann bis das Essen serviert bekam. Ich hatte den Eindruck nicht willkommen zu sein.
