Gutes Essen und sehr guter Service mit guter Gastlichkeit. Die Vorspeisen sind sehr gut. Und die Hauptspeisen sind sehr genussreich. Die Desserts sind ebenso schmackhaft.

Hervorragende griechische Küche und toller und aufmerksamer Service. Waren mit unserer Tochter und dem Enkel dort zum Abendessen und sind gut gesättigt wieder nach Hause gefahren. Der Kellner war noch so nett und hat von uns Fotos gemacht. Das Giros mit Käse überbacken und der Schweinefiletspiess in Metaxa Sahne Sauce war einfach köstlich. Trotz gut gefülltem Restaurant war es nicht zu laut und man konnte sich noch gut unterhalten. Danke für den schönen Abend!

Among friends in a foreign country, that is the best way to describe the welcome and the incredibly warm service. We reserved a table here while on vacation because of the good reviews. We received a very warm welcome and it continued like that the whole evening. An incredibly warm service that you would want anywhere. Our special thanks go to the whole family, especially Spyro. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy. I would describe the cleanliness as exemplary. The toilets have everything you could want, including hooks for women's jackets or handbags. The food is authentically Greek, super tasty and not even the souvlaki were dry, as is often the case. Everything here was perfect, juicy and really delicious. We would like to have a restaurant like this where we live. There is nothing to improve here, just stay as you are. Thanks!

We ordered takeaway this evening. We were able to pick up the order very quickly. All the employees were very friendly and there was a very pleasant atmosphere when picking up the food. We had gyros, suflaki, steak and fillet each with rice and salad. The portion size and price are completely acceptable. Very tasty in taste. We are very happy to give *****

Unfortunately, you are not welcome as an individual in this restaurant. They are probably hoping for several paying guests at the tables that are not yet occupied.

I have rarely been greeted so warmly in a restaurant without making a reservation. The service leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, the food is fantastic. Not too much, not too little seasoned, rarely good quality meat and the tastiest tzatziki in the world. The price-performance ratio is second to none. Really worth a visit.

Great modern and cozy restaurant. Even though we arrived shortly before 9 p.m. and the kitchen closes at 9 p.m., we were warmly welcomed and given something to eat. The food was really delicious and the service was super friendly. If I am in Bad Pyrmont again I will definitely come back.

After a long time we ate here again, so far everything was good, then we took gyros without anything with us, a complete menu with rice, salad... was more than outrageous. That was our last visit to this restaurant..

We have been going to Alexander on and off for over 30 years. And for us he was always the Greek in Bad Pyrmont who offered the best quality for the money. So the price-performance ratio was right. Unfortunately it's no longer as good as it was before the price increase, it's a shame that the quality and quantity also suffer. In addition, some of the food was already cold, but that didn't particularly bother the waiter. Speaking of the waiters, they are all extremely (excessively) friendly and funny, but they don't deal well with criticism. Another point of criticism concerns the pricing. We don't actually know any Greeks where you have to pay extra for tzatziki or for certain dishes. Because having to pay €5 for a dollop of tzatziki is more than sporty, in my opinion it's even a rip-off.🤷 In any case, we'll avoid Alexander for now.

Exceptionally good food and very friendly, good-humoured, dog-friendly service staff. Better than expected. Good location, enough space inside and outside. Short waiting times. All in all, worth repeating. Highly recommended.

We had to wait a long time until one of the many waitresses came to us and took our order. The staff was totally overwhelmed as they were very busy outside. Unfortunately the food was a disaster because it was cold, really cold! The neighboring table also complained about this in the service. When the waitress later asked us if everything was OK, I said that the food was cold and didn't taste good. The waiter didn't really respond, quickly disappeared without apologizing and later sent his colleague to pay us. Here, too, there was no response and we returned to our accommodation dissatisfied. This place is ticked off for us. What a shame actually!

We spontaneously walked past Alexander the Great and got a nice outside seat. I suspect that doesn't always work. I ordered a grill plate and my wife ordered a salad with chicken breast fillet, both were excellent. There is only one point of criticism and that is the starter salad. Yes, of course, that's complaining at a high level, but it can still be done better. If you compare the price with what we got, this is a top place.⁶

Even though all the tables were occupied and we hadn't made a reservation, we got a table. The food and service was great. We'll definitely come again.

Fantastisk god mat og hyggelig betjening. Første servering av drikke og mat gikk greit. Det ble vel lenge å vente på påfyll med drikke, noe som er forståelig siden det kom mange kunder en periode. Men når man må vente 40 minutter på å betale er det ikke greit. Vi har bedt om å få betalt men ingen respons .

Today there was nothing, we got bad gyros, bit the cartilage 3 times and the meat was better otherwise. Fries came late, too few and not crispy!

We, my wife and I, have been here several times and are always happy to come back. Very nice ambience with Greek sounds in the background. Extensive menu, very professional service (where does that still exist today???) who keep an overview even when the hut is full! The food is always very tasty and tasty. Already on our first visit, we knew we would be back. And just yesterday (Valentine's Day) we were there again... and said to ourselves, we'll be back...

It used to be great, but today it's more of a fast food joint. Metaxa sauce used to be added to many dishes and now you have to pay extra. It doesn't work anymore.

Everything is perfect here for a Greek break. However, without a reservation it is now often difficult to get a place. The team is well-coordinated, attentive and the kitchen is flexible. All typical Greek dishes can be found on the menu

Yesterday we went to “Alexander the Great” in Bad Pyrmont for the first time. Due to the many positive online reviews, we also accepted a longer journey for this visit. The ambience was very appealing and the allocated table near the counter was more than satisfactory. We couldn't quite suppress our initial surprise, as when we ordered drinks we were greeted with a familiarity that I only know from my closest circle of friends and family. During our stay, we unfortunately had to hear that our last name had to be used several times and unmistakably to amuse the entire counter and service staff. Openly laughing at this faux pas, the restaurant staff didn't even seem embarrassed. After I asked them about it, they just tried to hide everything under the guise of "We're all friends." The fake, over-friendly and cynical farewell was just the highlight of the evening anyway. Actually, we just wanted to be good guests in a good restaurant. Due to the very unprofessional treatment of us - no, it was rather rude - positive recommendations and further visits will not take place.

Das Restaurant wurde uns wärmstens empfohlen, aber so toll die Bedienung auch war, geschmacklich war es nur solide. Daran änderten auch die fairen Preise nichts. Verwunderlich war zudem der nicht vorhandene Tzaziki auf den Tellern, den es sonst bei anderen Griechen zumeist reichlich gibt. Ein Hinweis in der Karte wäre hier hilfreich gewesen. Somit war es ein netter Besuch, aber eben auch nicht mehr.

Nie wieder mit Kindern! Meine Tochter (2 Jahre) hatte kurz geweint. Die Kellner, die man sonst nie angetroffen hatte, schlichen plötzlich um uns herum und wollten, dass ich dieses weinende Geschöpf ausstelle. Wir waren das letzte mal dort!

Super Preis Leistung. Tolles Essen, schönes Ambiente und guter Service. Preise super. Man kann sich auch als Erwachsene eine "kleine Portion" bestellen. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Ich war 3 Wochen in der m&i Fachklinik und bin sehr gerne hier zum Essen gegangen. Bedienung und Qualität waren immer top, sehr freundlich und leckere Gerichte.

Super lecker, sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, super nette Bedienung, gerne wieder.schade fanden wir nur ,dass man Tsatzki extra bestellen musste, es gab leider keins bei den Gerichten . Das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau 😔

Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich! Ist ein bissl teurer, aber halt auch kein Imbiss, sondern ein nettes Restaurant. Und ziemlich voll! Das spricht ja immer für den Laden, wenn er viele Besucher bewirten kann. Kann ich bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.
