We had dinner here and also hosted a party. The restaurant is moderately loud and busy, and the friendly faces and conversations create a southern European atmosphere. The food is good... the pizza is excellent.

As soon as you step into this restaurant, you feel like you've arrived in the heart of Italy. Especially in the evening, the ambiance unfolds its very special charm—warm, inviting, and homey. You can immediately sense that the food is cooked with heart and prepared with genuine passion. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive; you instantly feel welcome and cared for. No matter what dish you order, it's always a culinary delight. After several visits, I can only say: everything here is perfect, from the atmosphere to the last bite. A little corner of Italy that warms the heart. ❤️

I'm honestly a fan of Pane e Vino 😊 I've been there several times, and it's always been really good and delicious. Occasionally, I'll just stop by for a glass of wine. So, I highly recommend it to everyone.

We visited Pane e Vino for the first time with five people. It was wonderful, with a great atmosphere and very friendly service. The food was freshly prepared and very, very tasty. Everything was just perfect. We were thrilled and can highly recommend it. A big thank you to the entire staff.

Well, it won't be my favorite Italian restaurant. The kitchen was a bit overwhelmed with 17 dishes.

Price and performance are right. Unfortunately, you sometimes have to wait a bit for the waiter (when it's busy).

We've been to Pane Vino a few times, but we're always a bit annoyed by the service. This time, however, was a disaster. We sat for 1.5 hours waiting for our food. Apparently, they forgot to pass it on to the kitchen. We were then assured we'd get it immediately, and we waited another half hour. Then we left, without our food. Meanwhile, all the waiters and chefs sat around relaxed. No one came to ask for drinks or anything else. We didn't receive much of an apology either. I would have considered a refund for the drinks appropriate. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

We were there on July 13th with six people. The weather was nice and we sat outside. It was very pleasant. At first, ordering went smoothly. But after we were halfway through the meal, no one was interested in ordering drinks anymore, and we had to finish our meal, thirsty. The pizza was delicious. Unfortunately, as the food arrived, we were attacked by dozens of flies. But the restaurant can't be blamed for that, as it's located next to a horse stable. However, it did seriously dampen our enjoyment of the meal.

The food is great, you can eat outside and inside.

Four of us were there. The two of us ordered salmon fillet with rosemary potatoes, but we got greasy fried potatoes. When we asked why they didn't have any rosemary potatoes, the answer was: "We don't have any today." A good restaurant says that before the food arrives. We would have ordered something else. Otherwise, the food was very tasty, but still a reason for us not to return. What a shame!

A place to feel at home, the host is warm...you immediately feel welcome! And all the staff are very attentive...you feel like you're in Italy...fantastic.

Very small indoor area, early reservation is required here. An outdoor area is added in summer. Typical Italian cuisine, which, in addition to the main menu, also offers an additional menu (table) with changing dishes. It can get quite loud at rush hour. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended, the food is outstanding and cannot be compared to a standard pizzeria.

The food is always very tasty and the waiting time for it is always more than OK in my opinion. The only thing is that somehow you don't have a waiter responsible for your place, but always someone who is in the "area". That's why it sometimes takes a while until you can order something. But that's also possible if you draw a little attention to yourself.

Pizza and steak tasted good. Unfortunately, the beef sauce tasted like a simple gravy and not like a sage and white wine sauce. Drinks were forgotten several times. Very unfortunate.

The food was quite good so far. The service too. However, anyone hoping to find a large selection of wines, as the name suggests, will be disappointed. There's a red one and a white one, that's it! For me, the red primitive would only go into the red cabbage and not into the glass.

Very nice atmosphere, but the welcome of an older female cyclist didn't seem to please the machismo of the (Turkish employees). I ordered the classic Bruschetta Pommedore and red wine and tap water. The tomatoes weren't entirely fresh and were slightly sour, spread on bread that was too thin, dry and slightly burnt. No garlic, salt, pepper, oil or vinegar on the table, this had to be ordered additionally with grumbling. No selection of open wines, which was also inferior. A tap water order with the wine was ignored and repeatedly refused. Only bottled water is available. Normal Italian friendliness here rather fake and trimmed for profit. Too bad Never w

The food was tasty and looked good. We had salmon, bruschetta, mixed salad, pizza and lasagna. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the food. As soon as it was served, there were flies everywhere that we literally had to fight against. Our hands constantly waved over our plates while the other hand quickly shoveled food into our mouths. The self-rotating fly swatters were no help. Maybe if we had gotten 20 of them. There were actually countless flies that had attacked the food and some of them no longer wanted to fly/jump away from the food and plate. We would have liked to have had dessert. But when we went to the toilets where dozens of flies flew towards us, we decided to change the location and visited a very nice ice cream parlor in Rheinhausen.

You will be warmly welcomed and have a free choice of seats with a view of the riding arena. The service is very friendly and attentive. Both the starter, main course and dessert were served quickly. Luckily we didn't have to wait long 😅 This was our first time there and we immediately felt familiar and welcome. We will come back 🤗

Food quite good. Ambiance also good. But once again an underground service. When we first ordered the food (salmon), we were told after 15 that it was no longer there. Then waited over an hour for the food. After requesting, the pizza suddenly arrived in 5 minutes, which, according to the waitress, had unfortunately been in the oven for too long. You could have kindly let me know and maybe a little sorry. Drinks were empty for at least 15 minutes, even though 5!! various waiters walked past us. Only got some after ordering. Then we were finished and wanted to have the pizza packed up, which we didn't get back. We wanted to pay and had to wait another 20 minutes before we went in to pay. Other guests behind us had already complained because they had been waiting for the card for 20 minutes. The boss actually only cared about his regular guests. Even in between, no “everything is good” or anything that belongs to a well-run restaurant. It's a shame that the service doesn't match the food. That was good as always. But today was the last time we were there. And others too...service totally drags down the overall rating

Always delicious. Great team with a very nice boss. Very nice outdoor area. You can enjoy the sun in the beer garden. There is always something going on here. Father's Day, dancing into May, etc. Rino does everything for his guests 😁.

Great pizzas and very tasty pasta at a fair price. The portions are barely manageable. Service and friendliness 1a. The portion of pizza rolls at the reception and the small grappa at the end round off the visit here. We'll definitely be back, promise

Saltimbocca Alla Romana without sage and Parma ham - where can you get something like that? In addition, the dishes were pretty carelessly prepared. We were also annoyed by the dim lighting in the room and the battery-powered table lamps that didn't work. The friendly service made up for it somewhat.

By far the best Italian in the Ruhr area. Food like from another planet... The owner - just a dream. Perfect service, brilliant food and fantastic wine. The soul doesn't need anything more!

Essen war lecker, relativ günstig. Ambiente gut, ein minimal flackerndes Licht sowie eine nicht richtig funktionierende Tischlampe stören meiner Meinung nach trotzdem leicht.

Es passiert mir sehr selten, dass ich mich in einem Restaurant nicht wohl fühle, hier ist es so. Mir ist es zu laut, wenn es gut besucht ist und auch der Service könnte aufmerksamer sein. Soll heißen, wenn man fertig mit essen ist dauert es etwas lang bis man als Gast wieder wahrgenommen wird. Und beim Essen war ich sehr überrascht, dass es zum Saltimbocca nur Nudeln als Beilage gab und kein Salat oder Gemüse.

Nettes Restaurant in liebevoll gestalteter Location. Das Restarant befindet sich innerhalb einer Reithalle. Diese Tatsache macht einen Besuch schon zu einem Event macht. Die Sitzplätze draußen sind direkt an einem Waldstück gelegen und sehr idyllisch. Das Personal ist sehr nett und engagiert. Die angebotenen Speisen sind typisch italienisch und qualitativ gut zu einem für die Qualität schon fast zu günstigen Preis. Vor allem der Nachtisch hat uns wirklich beeindruckt! Empfehlenswert!

Kann es gar nicht beurteilen, war aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht dort. Meine Freunde sind begeistert.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit ausreichend Personal. Echt zuvorkommend und schnell. Essen war mega gut. Getränke bestens und schnell am Tisch(nicht wenig getrunken) Fahre ich garantiert wieder mit Leuten hin.

Wir haben kurzfristig reserviert und draußen einen Tisch bekommen. Der Service war schnell, jedoch hatten wir das Gefühl, daß mit zweierlei Maß gemessen wurde....manche Gäste bekamen Brot vorweg(wir nicht), manche einen Absacker aufs Haus (wir wiederum nicht 🤔) . Es war sehr voll und dafür war der Service in Ordnung und das Essen lecker. Aber zum wiederholten Mal haben wir den Eindruck, daß soviele Gäste wie irgend möglich bewirtet werden sollen....es werden zusätzliche Tische aufgestellt.....was ein bisschen zu Lasten der Aufmerksamkeit der Kellner geht, alles wirkt ein bisschen hektisch und unangenehm unruhig....

Beim reinkommen wird man gemustert. Sehr arroganter Laden, niemals würde ich da essen.

Da es ländlich liegt, eine Pferdereithalle, sowie Pferdekoppeln ansässig sind, muss man bei der Aussengastronomie rechnen, dass man natürlich zu dieser Zeit mit Fliegen und Wespen zu rechnen hat. Die Preise waren zu anderen Lokalen sehr angenehm.

Nach der Arbeit schnell was essen und einen für uns neuen Italiener in der Nähe ausprobieren, war das Motto. Ergebnis war, da müssen wir dringend noch mal in Ruhe hin. Wir haben nur draußen gegessen und über das Ambiente im Lokal kann ich (noch) nichts sagen. Draußen sitzt man schön, ein wenig stören die Autos drum herum, aber andererseits kann man direkt mit dem Auto vorfahren 🤷‍♀️. Der Service war schnell und sehr freundlich. Mein Saltimbocca war hervorragend und auch das Nudelgericht von der Tageskarte hat meinem Mann gut geschmeckt. Beide Nachtischvarianten war sehr lecker und hübsch serviert. Fazit wie schon geschrieben: Da müssen wir bald mit mehr Ruhe hin und bei Wein das Essen noch mehr genießen!
