Palm Tree African Restaurant in Stuttgart

I’m giving an honest review so if that’s what you’re looking for keep on reading First and foremost I LOVE the food. Love the flavor of the food and I the atmosphere. They have really good customer service as well which is a plus. HOWEVER I have been here 3 times and I can NEVER seem to get my fufu that I ask and pay for. It’s extremely frustrating because this is not a 1 time thing it’s all the time. Basically giving me what they want instead of what I paid for. Which I find absolutely deplorable giving the fact that I’m spending money with you that I don’t have to. I even tip the cook when I come. I really love the place and like I said I love the atmosphere but giving me what you want as if I’m not going to notice, is insulting to my intelligence. That is the only reason why I gave them two stars and a semi bad review. I have given you guys chance after chance to get it right. So with that being said I will have to part ways with this restaurant. Thank you for all the delicious stews you have given me but I do not feel valued as a customer.

This lovely establishment is a short, 3 min walk from Rosensteinbrücke-not Rosensteinpark station from the U tram. The service, flavors, and music made this a great experience. ***CASH ONLY*** I have no complaints, though only one suggestion. Please put a more noticeable sign in front of the restaurant. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

It was terrible. Waited an hour for the food, the order was specifically vegetarian. There was still meat in the food and it tasted terrible! The supplement was wrapped in plastic wrap. The atmosphere there is also not very inviting. Everything seems old and dusty. I won't go there anymore.

Visited this place with my husband yesterdays and we loved it! The service was A1,so friendly people who advised us on food choice and the food was really good! The Kenyan in me felt home away from home! We watched football,had African Fanta and some authentic “African food “ 😋def worth the one hour drive! We’ll be back!

Okay. This place is the best. As a Nigerian. This women or restaurant is the best hands down in all of the whole Frankfurt and the neighbouring cities. I haven’t tried anywhere else but the Nollywood restaurant in Frankfurt. However, I was looking for something better and well cooked so I drove all the way from Frankfurt to the Palm wine restaurant to try their food in Stuttgart and I wasn’t disappointed. It reminds me of home. She can cook for good. If you are in Frankfurt or around it and wants to eat a good homemade Nigerian or Cameroonian food, drive to Stuttgart and give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. I will be going back there again.

The gentleman came running to bring us a bag that we had forgotten and he came again running to give us the fish that we requested to pack for us. Authentic cuisine. A pleasure to eat something not too modified to adapt it to the premises. Personally, I really liked it...my 14-year-old daughter did too (even if we swapped dishes). Very tasty...a matter of taste but clearly something to try. I highly recommend. To try.

Hungry (after a visit to the Christmas Garden in Wilhelma) we happened upon the Palm Tree Restaurant. Based on recommendations, we ordered and tried 4 different dishes. It was a really new and very tasty experience, something completely different. We really like the music and ambience 🤗 thank you very much

We celebrated a birthday in this restaurant and it was just perfect. The food was very tasty and the staff looked after us very well. We will come back in any case.

The food wasn't tasty and they charged us more than we ordered. And the atmosphere wasn't that good, there was someone who was shouting at us.

Very nice Restaurant food is fresh and delicious and the price is grate affordable it’s very nice atmosphere always happy to be there the Okra soup is on point the days I don’t cook I just go there and I love to go there with friends. That place is worth every star Five star doesn’t do no justice.

Drinks were quick so I'd recommend this as more of a bar than a restaurant. It took over an hour to get our food and they were out of more than half the dishes on the menu

Ótimo almoço. Ambiente aconchegante, pessoal da equipe é super simpático e a comida absolutamente deliciosa. Demorou um pouco pra ficar pronto, mas valeu a pena todo o tempo de espera (e que mostrou que a comida estava realmente sendo feita e não apenas requentada em porções). Há opções de pratos especiais que convém ligar antes para saber a disponibilidade e/ou antecipar o preparo. Vale a pena ouvir as recomendações da equipe. Aceitamos as sugestões e não nos arrependemos de nada. Ótima experiência.

The Eru soup was super! The grilled fish my friend had was so big she couldn't finish it. The price was good too, though the grilled fish seem to have a variable price. I'll be there again when next I'm in Stuttgart or maybe just even drive to Stuttgart just to enjoy a meal there!

Listen .. the fish was absolutely amazing! It was seasoned so well that you didn't need any kind of sauce for it. Speaking of sauce (the little dish in the picture) .. it was SOOO spicy the way I like it. (I'm from Louisiana just so you know my spice level). Oh, they only take cash so come ready with Euros. There are certain dishes you'd have to call a day in advance for them to prepare. So when you call to make a reservation ask if they can have whatever dish you want. I recommend this place!

The food was excellent and true to taste of West African Cuisine. Although they do not accept creat at this time they were very service oriented and accommodating. Plus having access to watch a football match while you eat was fantastic. It terms of space it is comparable to a German restaurant.

Kann als Beilage das pounded yam sehr empfehlen. Wenn ihr eine Abneigung gegen crayfish habt seid vorsichtig beim Auswählen.
