Pallas Gyros in Weiden i.d.OPf.

I would never step a foot into this place ever again the last few times I went they didn’t want me to be there and they even told me to go somewhere else I was like WTH and I went over again today they’re open and they told me to go back in 20 minutes man this places look racist and if you are not from the area it seems your not welcome. It’s been my third time that I have the same issue and today was the last time. It so different from the costa place better Greek food and more welcome atmosphere. What a shame

Meat, whether gyros or bifteki, was far too salty, a touch of tasteless rice and fries didn't go well with it, the place was highly praised to us, but we were very disappointed, prices were also high, it didn't match the price/performance ratio

Unfortunately it is only partially suitable for vegetarians, as meat is very annoying.

Leider ein sehr schlechtes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. 6,50 für drei Scheiben getoastetes Weißbrot mit Knoblauchbutter sind einfach zuviel. Ebenso 7,50 für 0,75 Mineralwasser. Salat mit 2 Scampi und 2 kleinen Tintenfischchen für 16,50 ebenfalls. Zwei Lachsfilets mit geronnener Sahnesoße für 20,00, naja, in München gibt man sich hier mehr Mühe. Die Tische stehen in der Freifläche so eng beieinander, dass man von einem rauchfreien Restaurant nicht sprechen kann, wenn am Nebentisch geraucht wird. Hier versucht man wohl die Coronaausfälle mit aller Gewalt zu kompensieren.

Fish platter always tastes good at a Greek restaurant. But what has fries lost here and not a little. There are enough good Greek side dishes.

Very unfriendly waiter. We were there at the Germany game, the waiter basically stood in front of us and didn't leave. He brought in another waiter to reinforce him. Friendliness was zero, which is why we decided not to place any further orders. Never again

We had dinner there with friends. The dishes we ordered were something to behold even before eating. The food was typically Greek and we enjoyed it. The portion sizes were good and very good value for money. Unfortunately, as a vegetarian, I am often disappointed by the choice of dishes, which is why I deducted one star. We didn't pre-order our dishes, but they were served after a short wait. The service staff were excellent, came to the table to reorder and were always friendly. Every single member of the staff was very child-friendly and treated the little mouse who accompanied us in a friendly and welcome manner. There are enough high chairs for children. The guest room refers to an indoor area and an outdoor area. Parasol offer large umbrellas. A clean and hygienic toilet is available indoors. I didn't notice a changing option - but I can imagine it being possible upon request.

The taste of the food is rather average. The portions have become smaller. The prices are too high for that. 17.00 euros for a gyro is already announced. Prices and services no longer match

I would like to report on the visit to Pallas in the Upper Palatinate. Seven days ago! Food tasted very artificial. You could literally smell the flavor enhancers... The hours after eating were hell for my partner and I. A sleepless night with cramps, endless thirst and digestive problems. The rice was dripping with fat (and I thought rice would be a healthier option than fries...) and the saganaki also looked like it came from a ready-made package. Not a highlight in terms of taste either. Unfortunately it's definitely not worth a visit!!! We will also warmly recommend that our friends give Pallas a wide berth!

This evening we visited the Pallas restaurant in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate. No matter what we ordered, everything tasted terrible. We even had to pay €5.98 for the Ouzo drink offered. We have never had such bad Greek food. The food is an insult to the Greek people.

We ate at Pallas twice during our time in Weiden. Each time we had an excellent meal. We sat outside on the terrace which was wonderful for watching life go by. The service as 10/10, charming staff, excellent food and drink. There is nothing to say negative about this place. I was wonderful and we would return!

The food was very good, but the salad with honey balsamic dressing was too oily and therefore not so good without pita, but the chicken breast salad is great 👍

We were eating in a medium-sized group, unfortunately the portions are relatively small but comparatively expensive. The taste is okay, but not outstanding.

As a Greek, I am very disappointed and will never go there again. The boss isn't really friendly like the Greeks are. Before our order came, we asked if we could sit at the table next to us (there were 2 women there before) and got the answer: No, the table is for 3 people. Food was very salty and prices are very high for the portion. Not recommendable

We were in Weiden for the first time yesterday and then discovered this fantastic Greek restaurant. What can I say except that everything was more than perfect. If you want a real feeling like in the tavernas in Greece then "Pallas" is the right place for you. And the fact that the restaurant owner and his team are really great people is a big bonus. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who goes to Weiden or is of course from Weiden and the surrounding area. Many thanks to the great team “Pallas”.

In the middle of the pretty city center of Weiden. Very nice Greek family, food highly recommended. And the atmosphere brought back holiday memories for us.

Food was O.K. but nothing to rave about.

Service is quick and friendly. Lamb fillet isn't bad, rosemary potatoes and salad aren't that great.

Very good Greek food and fast service. In summer you can spend time outside in the beautiful old town. Inside it is a bit winding and narrow.

The Pallas is pretty darn good. I ate here a couple times while in Weiden.

Very quiet and pleasant to eat. Unfortunately there are a lot of small steps and it is very dark. Rather unsuitable for severely visually impaired people like me. But the food is so delicious. I was there with my family and everyone enjoyed it.

Top restaurant. Top Greek. Large selection of food. Great boss. Great terrace in summer. I'm a regular. Absolutely recommended👍

The food was good, but nothing exceptional. I ordered Gyros Special. Of course the prices etc. rise, but for these 17 euros there was really very little on the plate, a shame.. Service and ambience were great.

Must have the mushrooms 🍄 ! They are a delicious appetizer and the lamb is awesome. They had outdoor seating with fire 🔥 places that kept the area nice a warm on a cold night. Which was amazing!

This place is just the greatest...get the warm Feta from the appetizer menu...absolutely a must. The staff and atmosphere are best in Weiden.

Dieses griechische Restaurant kann ich nur empfehlen. Sehr schnelle und aufmerksame Bedienung. Sehr guter Salat. Vor allem das Dressing super lecker. Ich muss euch dafür loben. Das Hauptgericht auch sehr sehr gut. Die Kalamari nicht wie Gummi sondern sehr lecker und weich. Rundum ein perfektes Lokal. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Danke an die Belegschaft und an die Küche. Wir hatten reserviert und hatten auch einen schönen Platz im Freien. Leider war das Fleisch überhaupt nicht gut. Sorry, vielleicht Reste von gestern und in der Mikrowelle heiß gemacht. Es war mein Geburtstag und ich lag danach mit Magenschmerzen und Durchfall zu Hause. Sorry, wir kommen nicht mehr wieder!

Wir waren zufällig in der Stadt und gingen in das Pallas. Die Aussenterasse war um 17 Uhr voll besetzt, Also setzten wir uns an einen der letzten beiden Tische. Sehr freundliches Personal, xchnell und sehr aufmerksam. Zur Vorspeise bestellten wir gebratene Saitlinge, Dann einen Griech. Bauernsalat und einen Med. Salat mit gebr. Tintenfisch. Was soll ich sagen. Super lecker die Pilze, der Tintenfisch sensationell gebraten. Weich, nicht überwürzt, lecker! Gibt's ausgesprochen selten in der Gastronomie. Sehr sehr gut!

Gyros und Kalamaris einfach genial - Pommes so lala - Salat okay Service sehr gut

Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker wir haben gerne dort bestellt doch plötzlich sind die Portionen so klein, (Reisportion 2 Gabeln voll) Vorher schaffte man die Portion gerade so und jetzt hat man noch Hunger danach. Wir haben wirklich schon oft bestellt aber die Portionen haben sich schon auffällig verkleinert. Schade dafür.

Richtig gutes Essen und Getränke

Sehr gutes Essen, ausgezeichnete Bedienung. Leider habe ich kein Foto von den Calamaris (sind in dem Restaurant "Tuben"), kann aber die Calamaris besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Aber auch die Fleischgerichte wie Suvlaki & Suzuki sind sehr gut.

Not bad restaurant, delicious food, fairly fast service. But it was not dog-friendly enough, which upset me: my pomeranian spitz was not allowed to sit next to me on a chair, so he had to lie on the floor at the feet of visitors and waiters. This totally upset me.

Speisen werden immer kleiner und schlechter

Wir sind langjährige Stammgäste. Das Pallas ist ein griechisches Lokal der Superlative. Die Speisen und Getränke sind vom Feinsten, das Ambiente ist einzigartig. Der Service ist unübertrefflich. Wir empfehlen das Pallas besten Gewissens weiter.

Das Essen und der Service war recht gut, Doradenfilet mit Rosmarinkartöffelchen und Grillgemüse, hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Was mir gar nicht gefiel, war die Situation draußen unter dem dunklen Zeltdach zu sitzen, das fand ich bedrückend. Vielleicht mal in ein helleres Zeltdach investieren, da auch das jetzige Zeltdach schon recht ramponiert aussah.

Ausserordentlich guter Service und Essen

Was soll man bei einem so guten Essen und Personal sagen. Einfach da fühlt man sich mega gut untergebracht. Und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Viel Liebe zum Detail. Danke an das Team

The gyro was Sri fly average. Dry, not enough sauce. The price for a gyro is extremely high. I would not reccomend you buy here

Schön ist es im Außenbereich vor dem Lokal. Freundliche Kellner versorgten uns mit Radler, einem guten Gyros Kalamiri Teller und dem Korfu Teller. Man bemerkt die Massenabfertigung und so blieb das Gyros mit wenig Salz auf dem Teller und die Korfuplatte war ein eher lauwarmes Essen. Es fehlte uns etwas im Detail und am Finish, den das Essen war geschmacklich richtig gut, große Portionen, preislich super fair.. Wir testen das wieder.
