Wir waren hier vor kurzem zum Essen, mit sehr gemischten Eindrücken: Positiv: - Freundliches Personal - Speisen gut gewürzt - Portionsgröße ausreichend Negativ: - Das Souvlaki war totgebraten, dieses Tier musste zweimal sterben - Fettbatzen im Gyros gehören da nicht rein - Uns wurde weder vor noch nach dem Essen ein Ouzo serviert, habe ich noch bei keinem Griechen erlebt - Deutlich zu wenig Zaziki - Eine Beilage falsch - das zweite Getränk wurde vergessen. - Calamaris 08/15 Mit sehr viel Wohlwollen 3 Sterne. Wenn man versucht, seinen guten Ruf mit Gewalt zu verspielen - Konkurrenz gibt es genug.

Das Essen war okay, eine deutsche Interpretation der griechischen Küche. Der Service war unterirdisch. Wir warteten über 20 Minuten auf die Getränke und weitere 45 Minuten auf die Rechnung. Überteuerte deutsch-griechische Küche – das war definitiv das erste und letzte Mal.

Erster Besuch, wegen des vollen Lokals hohe Erwartungen gehabt – leider enttäuscht. 15 Minuten gewartet, bis jemand die Bestellung aufgenommen hat, danach nochmal ca. 30 Minuten aufs Essen. Service insgesamt kaum präsent. Zudem war es sehr laut im Restaurant. Essen (Hähnchenfilet mit Gemüse und Pommes) enttäuschend: wenig Fleisch, viel Beilage und sehr trocken. Insgesamt 2 von 5 Sternen

Das beste Essen der Stadt, bester Service und immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Absolut empfehlenswert! Probieren Sie unbedingt den Weißwein (Techni Alpias).

Schade um das Geld. Bei den mit Feta überbackenen Scampi fehlte der Feta. Über 10€ für vier trockene und nach nichts schmeckende Scampi zu verlangen, ist einfach nur dreist. Zaziki und Gyrospizza schmecken auch nicht. Wir werden hier nicht mehr bestellen.

Ich war nicht begeistert. Auf meinem Teller stand Steak, Spieß und Gyrosfleisch. Alles außer dem Gyrosfleisch war aber aus Schweinefleisch. Der Reis war hart und nicht gar. Die Tzatziki-Sauce hingegen war lecker. Der Service war gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nur das Essen war eine große Enttäuschung. Ich war auf Empfehlung dort, aber es hat mir nicht gefallen.

Waren heute zu dritt zum Mittagessen dort. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und uns wurde ein Tisch im Nebenraum angeboten, den wir sehr gerne annahmen. Wir waren vom Essen absolut begeistert. Große Portionen, wir waren papp satt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und werden es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die nette Begrüßung und das hervorragende Essen.

Sehr gutes Essen und schnelle Bedienung. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Bestellung war schnell am Tisch obwohl immer wieder Essen für Zuhause ausgegeben wurde. Wir sind begeistert und gehen bestimmt wieder hier hin.

Mit 5 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag zum Mittagessen dort gewesen. Haben ca. 2-3 Wochen vorher reserviert (was man an einem Feiertag sowieso überall sollte). Wurden freundlich empfangen und zum Platz geführt. Ein Kinderstuhl für den Jüngsten stand auch zur Verfügung. Die Bedienung war stehts freundlich und aufmerksam obwohl wirklich viel los war. Alle Bestellungen wurden korrekt verteilt. Die Portionen waren mehr wie ausreichend und wirklich sehr sehr gut. Unserer Meinung nach das beste Gyros der Umgebung. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis top. Immer wieder gern.

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr guter Service, Preis-Leistung absolut wert!

Der Grieche lässt in allen Punkten zu wünschen übrig. Wir haben eine Platte für 2 auf drei erweitern lassen, bekamen einen Spieß mehr und es wurden 28€ mehr berechnet - Preis-Leistung ist leider echt sehr frech. Trotz sehr guter Lage in Punkto Essen nicht zu empfehlen. Eigentlich schade…

Als ich hier aß, zahlte ich in Euro und wartete auf das Wechselgeld. Stattdessen sagte er „Danke“ und nahm mein Wechselgeld als Trinkgeld. Es waren ungefähr 10 Euro Wechselgeld für eine einzelne Mahlzeit. Frustriert nahm er an, ich würde Trinkgeld geben, nur weil ich kein Deutscher bin.

Wir waren heute zu fünft zum Essen da und es hat einfach alles gepasst. Der Chef war zuvorkommend, freundlich und lustig. Das Essen war sehr lecker.

Ein Grieche wie Pallas war wirklich einmalig – das Essen war köstlich, die Qualität hervorragend. Das Zaziki schmeckte hausgemacht, und selbst der Beilagensalat war mit Peperoni liebevoll zubereitet. Leider hat sich das in letzter Zeit stark verändert: Die Portionen sind deutlich kleiner geworden, während die Preise stark gestiegen sind. Auch die Qualität scheint nachgelassen zu haben. Mein Wunsch an den Eigentümer: Bitte kehren Sie zur früheren Qualität und Großzügigkeit zurück. Sie haben mit Ihrem Restaurant eine wunderbare Tradition geschaffen – es wäre schade, wenn diese verloren ginge.

Bitte geänderte Öffnungszeiten auch hier ändern.Standen gestern 14.30h vor verschlossenen Türen. Es wurde uns gesagt erst ab 16h wieder offen. Dumm gelaufen wenn man sich auf die Angaben im Netz verlässt .

Essen war gut und schnell aber der Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Nach dem Essen wurde spät abgeräumt und trotz leerer Gläser nichts mehr zu trinken angeboten. Zum krönenden Abschluss wollte der Kellner beim kassieren noch um 15 € bescheissen.

Grau / Koller : Wir hatten Pitas vegetarisch / Gyros , Tomatenreis , Salat nachhaus liefern lassen . Auf eine sehr freundliche , koole (und witzige ;) Übergabe der schön old school eingepackten Speisen folgte ein ebenso wirklich tolles , authentisches Mahl , welches richtig Spass machte , und Bock auf mehr davon . Wir sind wieder voll bei Pallas angekommen , wenn das Essen so toll bleibt ! Danke ! Der Bestellvorgang am Telefon war übrigens sehr angenehm , da der Herr absolut umgänglich , nachsichtig und humorvoll den Auftrag entgegennahm . Wir bestellen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder .

Wenn man keine Stammkundschaft oder bekannt in dem Restaurant ist, wird man nicht gerade freundlich oder überschwenglich behandelt, auch wenn man das gleiche Geld bezahlt. Die Tische sind "dauer" reserviert und man bekommt das Gefühl vermittelt, dass man ihn gnädigerweise für ca 1 Stunde benutzen kann und eigentlich gar nicht erwünscht ist. Allein der Ouzo aufs Haus nach dem Bezahlen ist lobenswert. Das Essen schmeckt trotz alledem sehr gut.

Sehr unfreundliches Personal, nicht essbare Abendessen - Riesenkalmar statt gegrillte Kalamari, nicht zu Ende gegrillt.

Had a reservation for 7, was seated immediately, drinks were fairly quick, but then we were forgotten/overlooked when it came time for ordering and paying. That being said, the food came quickly. Meat items were a little on the dry side but the portions were large. My favorite thing was the two calamari rings that came with the Hercules pita. They were tender and fresh. They took credit card, which was a relief.

The three of us only had a small table with bar stools. Unfortunately, the warm starter was served directly with the main course, so the small table was completely overcrowded. After we tried to put our main course on the table next to us, which was of course empty, the waiter simply put it back, making it impossible to enjoy a leisurely meal. We simply put the starter – luckily it was just sakanaki – on the main course plate. It was more expensive than other Greek restaurants in the area. The taste was absolutely top-notch, so the value for money was right for us. However, since the service and the ambiance in general weren't convincing, we're giving it a solid 3 stars.

I had a lovely evening there with my family. The atmosphere is great; you can even sit comfortably outside. The food was incredibly delicious. Everyone at the table was happy with what they ordered. There's plenty of choice, and there's something for everyone. The service was also good; someone was always checking in to see if we needed anything else. There are also more than enough parking spaces nearby, making the restaurant easy to reach.

Very good food, friendly and helpful English speaking service, quite popular and busy but they will arrange a place for everyone.

The best Greek restaurant I know, with a super friendly owner and a friendly team. The food is excellent and the location is top-notch. Definitely recommend it 😊👍🏼

Very tasty food. Friendly service. Excellent lamb. Comfortable chairs. A little more dressing on the salad would have been nice, but it was delicious. I'd go back anytime.

I got the food delivered to my Home, it took about 50 minutes to arrive, but it was expected since it was a Saturday and there it always takes long. I ordered kalamari and they were a bit overcooked. I got two Slouvaki pita, they were alright. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw, the zaziki was good and the pita was perfect, but one of the Slouvaki was dry and the other was perfect. The gyros was alright, a bit dry though, with zaziki mixed good, the fries were alright and I'm not a fan of the rice. But i would definitely order again and probably will.

This wannabe boss taking orders outside is completely out of place! I approached him and wanted a table for six people, and then he was so rude! Not another cent in this place!

If I could I would give 0 stars, very antisocial behavior from the waiters, you have to eat something or you'll be thrown out, not recommended, they did the same to a few others.

Sunday around 3:00 p.m. Several tables outside were reserved, so the three of us sat at an unreserved table. Since 3:00 p.m. was neither time for lunch nor dinner, we just wanted a drink and maybe a small dessert. Unfortunately, an unfriendly waiter asked us to leave because we didn't want to eat. As I said, there was still plenty of space, so we went to a neighboring restaurant. On our way back, about 60 minutes later, those seats were still free. I definitely don't recommend such an unfriendly restaurant as this.

Pricey, relative to the quantity. Gyros dry and tough, salad barely any dressing. There are definitely better ones.

Good food, but like real Greek food has a lot of fat. The staff is friendly and you can definitely find a place for you and your girlfriend and staff will be happy to help you

Unfortunately I wasn't satisfied. The food was cold and the fries were very soggy. When I pointed this out, I was just told I would tell the chef and that was it, and I wouldn't get any more feedback about it.

We ate in the formerly good restaurant several times, unfortunately the last three times were very negative and we will not go there again from now on. Starting with the service, which seems very bored, the food is at the table within minutes and can therefore hardly be fresh but rather kept warm until someone orders it, as well as the prices being way too expensive for the quality/quantity is not appropriate here. Glass had a lipstick mark from the guest in front of it, minced steak was burnt black, plates were overloaded with the cheapest, very salty French fries, raw onion rings instead of well-fried ones, pork fillet was completely dry, squid rings like chewing gum. Two out of four dishes ordered went back to the kitchen as they were not edible and should not have been served to any guest In every small tavern in and outside of Greece an ouzo is offered, which is widely seen as a symbol of conviviality, friendship and the good life. Here we were neither asked whether we would like one nor whether we would like to order/drink more. As a Greek I cannot recommend this restaurant, this one is far from typical, fresh, healthy Greek food and hospitality, luckily there are many great restaurants with delicious Greek cuisine and great service in Weiden.

This is a great place to eat. I have been here twice now, and both times were very delightful. The food is amazing. I tried something different each time I visited. It had a relaxing ambiance. The service was great and if you like oozo, you get a free shot at the end. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It's ok but it used to be much better

The food was okay. The service was very friendly and attentive, except for the manager himself. He's more interested in his regulars, those he knows and who are "better off the top." Unfortunately, we've noticed this a few times. It's a shame. He walked past us several times and saw that our glasses were empty, but made no attempt to ask if we wanted anything else. With the regulars, however, he immediately ran off. And as I said, this unfortunately wasn't the first time we've been treated like this.

The quality of the food is excellent in all options! In an absolutely warm, friendly, polite and hospitable environment. The organized and close-knit team of specialized and experienced staff that collaborates in a unique fraternal atmosphere offer the highest quality of each dish to satisfy even the most demanding visitor. The owners, Mrs. Chrysoula and Mr. Alexandros, with the unlimited kindness and courtesy that overwhelms them, their main concern is that each visitor enjoys their food and has a good time! 5 stars is the least that can characterize the experience of your visit... I highly recommend it!!!

I would never step a foot into this place ever again the last few times I went they didn’t want me to be there and they even told me to go somewhere else I was like WTH and I went over again today they’re open and they told me to go back in 20 minutes man this places look racist and if you are not from the area it seems your not welcome. It’s been my third time that I have the same issue and today was the last time. It so different from the costa place better Greek food and more welcome atmosphere. What a shame

Unfortunately it is only partially suitable for vegetarians, as meat is very annoying.

Leider ein sehr schlechtes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. 6,50 für drei Scheiben getoastetes Weißbrot mit Knoblauchbutter sind einfach zuviel. Ebenso 7,50 für 0,75 Mineralwasser. Salat mit 2 Scampi und 2 kleinen Tintenfischchen für 16,50 ebenfalls. Zwei Lachsfilets mit geronnener Sahnesoße für 20,00, naja, in München gibt man sich hier mehr Mühe. Die Tische stehen in der Freifläche so eng beieinander, dass man von einem rauchfreien Restaurant nicht sprechen kann, wenn am Nebentisch geraucht wird. Hier versucht man wohl die Coronaausfälle mit aller Gewalt zu kompensieren.

Fish platter always tastes good at a Greek restaurant. But what has fries lost here and not a little. There are enough good Greek side dishes.

Very unfriendly waiter. We were there at the Germany game, the waiter basically stood in front of us and didn't leave. He brought in another waiter to reinforce him. Friendliness was zero, which is why we decided not to place any further orders. Never again

We had dinner there with friends. The dishes we ordered were something to behold even before eating. The food was typically Greek and we enjoyed it. The portion sizes were good and very good value for money. Unfortunately, as a vegetarian, I am often disappointed by the choice of dishes, which is why I deducted one star. We didn't pre-order our dishes, but they were served after a short wait. The service staff were excellent, came to the table to reorder and were always friendly. Every single member of the staff was very child-friendly and treated the little mouse who accompanied us in a friendly and welcome manner. There are enough high chairs for children. The guest room refers to an indoor area and an outdoor area. Parasol offer large umbrellas. A clean and hygienic toilet is available indoors. I didn't notice a changing option - but I can imagine it being possible upon request.

I would like to report on the visit to Pallas in the Upper Palatinate. Seven days ago! Food tasted very artificial. You could literally smell the flavor enhancers... The hours after eating were hell for my partner and I. A sleepless night with cramps, endless thirst and digestive problems. The rice was dripping with fat (and I thought rice would be a healthier option than fries...) and the saganaki also looked like it came from a ready-made package. Not a highlight in terms of taste either. Unfortunately it's definitely not worth a visit!!! We will also warmly recommend that our friends give Pallas a wide berth!

This evening we visited the Pallas restaurant in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate. No matter what we ordered, everything tasted terrible. We even had to pay €5.98 for the Ouzo drink offered. We have never had such bad Greek food. The food is an insult to the Greek people.

We ate at Pallas twice during our time in Weiden. Each time we had an excellent meal. We sat outside on the terrace which was wonderful for watching life go by. The service as 10/10, charming staff, excellent food and drink. There is nothing to say negative about this place. I was wonderful and we would return!

The food was very good, but the salad with honey balsamic dressing was too oily and therefore not so good without pita, but the chicken breast salad is great 👍

As a Greek, I am very disappointed and will never go there again. The boss isn't really friendly like the Greeks are. Before our order came, we asked if we could sit at the table next to us (there were 2 women there before) and got the answer: No, the table is for 3 people. We were in Weiden for the first time yesterday and then discovered this fantastic Greek restaurant. What can I say except that everything was more than perfect. If you want a real feeling like in the tavernas in Greece then "Pallas" is the right place for you. And the fact that the restaurant owner and his team are really great people is a big bonus. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who goes to Weiden or is of course from Weiden and the surrounding area. Many thanks to the great team “Pallas”.

In the middle of the pretty city center of Weiden. Very nice Greek family, food highly recommended. And the atmosphere brought back holiday memories for us.

Food was O.K. but nothing to rave about.

Service is quick and friendly. Lamb fillet isn't bad, rosemary potatoes and salad aren't that great.

Very good Greek food and fast service. In summer you can spend time outside in the beautiful old town. Inside it is a bit winding and narrow.

The Pallas is pretty darn good. I ate here a couple times while in Weiden.

Very quiet and pleasant to eat. Unfortunately there are a lot of small steps and it is very dark. Rather unsuitable for severely visually impaired people like me. But the food is so delicious. I was there with my family and everyone enjoyed it.

Top restaurant. Top Greek. Large selection of food. Great boss. Great terrace in summer. I'm a regular. Absolutely recommended👍
