Palladion.Gr in Aachen

Ich wollte bei der Hitze (36C°) erst mal etwas trinken. Fehlanzeige wurde nicht bedient und weiter geschickt. Getränke nur mit Speisen. Finde ich ich unerhört Nun werde ich das Essen leider nicht mehr probieren schade.

Viel zu laut und zu stickig.Das Essen war gut.Ich komme ganz sicher nicht mehr dahin.Gemütlich Essen gehen ist in meinen Augen etwas anderes.Massenabfertigung zu überhöhten Preisen.Nein Danke.Die Kellner waren höflich,aber gestresst.

Ein typischer Touristenort. Schnell essen und schnell wieder verschwinden. Keine Atmosphäre, keine Gemütlichkeit. Das Personal sitzt auf der anderen Straßenseite. Weitergehen.

Leider war Souvlaki so hart wie die Sohle eines alten Schuhs.... Schade. Nicht zu empfehlen

Wir waren heute zu zweit dort essen und haben das Mittagsmenü genommen . Das Essen war hervorragend und die Metaxasauce war super lecker. Das Essen krönte ein Tiramisu und zum Abschluss ein Limoncello. Die Kellner waren sehr freundlich und das Essen kam sehr schnell.

Unfreundliches Personal. Normalerweise ist es Gang und Gäbe dass man beim Griechen einen Ouzo vor dem Essen bekommt dafür gab es kein Trinkgeld. Personal hat sich über die Frage nach einem Bewirtungsbeleg beschwert und wir waren seiner Aussage nach unsympatisch.

Schlechte Portionen, freche Bedienung

Das schlechteste Abendessen seit Langem – alles war in der Mikrowelle aufgewärmt und einfach nur widerlich.

Es war ein toller Abend für unsere Gruppe ( 17) Personen. Und das Personal hat, obwohl es bei uns öfters laut war, immer höflich und professionell bedient. Die Speisen waren durchweg sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist toll, vor alles liegt das Lokal sehr zentral zum Markt, Dom und Rathaus. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wie auch schon die letzten 8 Jahre

Nicht besonders. Wir waren vor anderthalb Jahren schon Mal hier und waren sehr angetan. Leider hat das Essen an Qualität und Quantität echt abgenommen. Das Fleisch war mit Knorpel und Glibber durchzogen. Noch ein Restaurant in Aachen, in das man nicht mehr gehen kann. Wir lagen bei knapp 60€ für zwei überraschend kleine Hauptgerichte und zwei Säfte (0,2l)….

Das Ambiente ist gehobenen und das Essen sehr gut. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte, alles war lecker. Das Restaurant ist für Aachen sehr groß, aber das ist kein Nachteil. Das Personal hat alles im Griff und ist sehr freundlich.

Ich habe schon bei vielen Griechen einen Gyros Teller gegessen aber diese ...... eine 12 von 10 Das Fleisch sowas von zart. Es zerging im Mund. Die Pommes auf dem Punkt. Die Beilagen richtig lecker. Personal und Inhaber sehr nett. Wenn ihr also mal in Aachen seid, nix wie hin :-)

5 Sterne – Absolut bombastisch! ​Das Palladion ist ohne Zweifel das beste griechische Restaurant in Aachen. Das Essen war der Hammer (siehe Video!), die Getränke perfekt und die Herzlichkeit des gesamten Teams – von der Chefin bis zur Bedienung – ist trotz vollem Haus unübertroffen. Wer hier nicht zufrieden nach Hause geht, ist wohl generell mit dem Leben unzufrieden; wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ich habe dort während meines Besuchs zum Aachener Karneval zu Mittag gegessen. Das Lokal war fabelhaft, der Service sogar noch besser und das Essen einfach himmlisch. 10/10

Ambiente sieht von außen sowie innen Vielversprechend aus . Leider ist das Essen schlecht, es schmeckt nach altem und nicht richtig zubereitet sondern einfach in den ofen geworfen. Die Preis des Restaurants sind leider auch viel zu teuer.

Das Ambiente ist ok, das Essen war auch ok, aber die gelieferte Menge von Tzaziki war sehr klein und bei einer Nachbestellung für zu wenig servierten Portion von dieser Gyros-Zutat, 6,50€ zu verlangen, grenzt schon an einer Unverschämtheit. Ich werde diese Lokalität meiden, denn da bekommt man das Gefühl, dass man über den Tisch gezogen wird.

Es ist ein gemütliches Restaurant, sehr freundliche ,höfliche Bedienung und sehr gutes Essen. Der Wein war ausgezeichnet. Wenn wir wieder mal nach Aachen kommen, werden wir bestimmt wieder einkehren.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Gyros war sehr gut 👍. Das Fleisch war ein bißchen zu trocken. Ist aber zu empfehlen.

I ate there for the first time yesterday with my son, and we must say this restaurant is highly recommended. The meat was delicious (perfectly mildly seasoned for me, but my son's could have used a bit more spice; that's a matter of personal taste). We were both very pleased with the quality—large portions—and the extremely friendly staff. Pleasant Greek music plays in the background, which doesn't disturb our conversation at all. The interior is very neat, and the beautiful Greek columns make it very authentic and cozy. We will definitely be back for more enjoyable meals in the future. At the end, we couldn't miss the ouzo, which was politely offered to us. 👌 We were very satisfied.

Friendly service. The food: The food arrived shortly after ordering. Great! Right? But the gyros and pork steak were lukewarm. Consequently, the steak was almost impossible to cut with a knife. Complaints were also heard from the next table. Given the price, I wouldn't be coming back!

If you have celiac disease, this is not a good place to go. The waiter didn't take me seriously at all, refused to check with the kitchen whether a dish was truly gluten-free, and then spent the whole evening making bad and rude jokes about my food intolerance. It was a really unpleasant experience, and I won't be coming back.

I spontaneously decided to stop in today on my mother-in-law's recommendation and was very pleasantly surprised. I can highly recommend it. The food was plentiful, delicious, and fairly priced. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

This afternoon I had a delicious Zeusplatter, as always, just as delicious. And friendly service. Every time I'm in Aachen, I come here for dinner.

We were a group of 10 and ate there after visiting the Christmas market. The restaurant was naturally full, but the wait for our food was reasonable. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was very attentive. We would definitely eat there again.

There's no such thing as a long meal. A starter, a main course, and within an hour we were out the door again. The food was excellent, though.

We were there. The waitress and waitresses were really friendly - you can't say anything about that. About the food - but! The meat on the Acropolis platter was really inedible. Tough, and even the knife wouldn't cut through it. The gyro, however, was very tasty - thin, hardly any fat, and perfectly edible. The garlic potato slices were also quite tasty. Now for the downsides: We almost fell over - €7.50 for a bottle of water (0.75l). That was the most expensive water we've ever drunk. Absolutely unacceptable! It's already on the level of Milan prices. We wouldn't order it again. About the coziness: Well, you have to like it. Everything is quite dark! We've seen different things in Greece. It's a shame, really... Conclusion: The food was okay, and the price was also reasonable (except for the water). Will we come back? Probably not...

First visit to Palladion and I was immediately won over!!! Attractive design!!! Beautiful area, next to the Dom Aachen! Wonderful service from professionals with warm hearts! Delicious, tasty, filling food! Amazing dessert! I recommend it to all of you!!! I will definitely choose it again!!! Super-friendly service and excellent attention to my gluten-free diet. The octopus was the tastiest I've ever eaten (no photo, I finished it too quickly 😉) and the Greek meat dish was also delicious. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended restaurant with delicious food and very attentive, friendly, and even funny staff (or rather, the boss?). The portions were large, the salad fresh, and the meat delicious. A pleasant atmosphere with Greek music in the background. Very good value for money, and ouzo is free for everyone. That makes eating out even more fun!

I will never eat here again. A restaurant is a place where you offer food and service. The food is okay, but the service is extremely rude. I agree with the reviews by Jurriaan de Graaf and Maaike Valé in these reviews. A waiter is extremely rude and refuses to bring my food to my table, so I have to sit somewhere else. The two days before, I had eaten at the same table. I was already seated, my drink was finished, the food was already on the table, and he demanded that I move. He hadn't asked me. I'm going to the Greek café Ouzeria now. Good food and waiters who know what service is all about.

Too bad, the otherwise delicious garlic potatoes were barely cooked and still a bit pale. The bifteki and gyros were okay, though I've had better meals elsewhere. The salad, however, was far from Greek. Lots of curly lettuce, one tomato, no cucumber, and drenched in a dressing that tasted a bit like honey mustard? We paid after one drink. Not something we'll be returning. The staff was friendly, though.

This is an excellent spot to get some of the local atmosphere; they have a terrific outside dining place with view of the surroundings. Staff is also very nice and helpfull. That being said, the food was not so great. I got the rump steak, and it was pretty tough to cut and chew; not what I expected. Seasoning and side dishes were OK. So there is room for improvement, and then this would be the go-back-spot right away.

Amin is a very good waiter and never forgets what was ordered. I am very satisfied and recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent, and the chef is fantastic.

Not far from the cathedral, this restaurant offers fresh and balanced dishes. The welcome is warm, and the servers are very helpful and attentive. I ate a delicious goat cheese salad on the terrace, accompanied by ouzo, a strong and delicate aniseed aperitif.

Palladion in Aachen I've often walked past this Greek restaurant and thought to myself, "Man, I absolutely have to eat here sometime - the smells are so good - it'll be a feast for my palate." Last night, Saturday, July 5, 2025, I went there with three friends. I had reserved a table for four people, but secretly hoped to get a seat outside (the outside seats are understandably not reserved). The restaurant offers outdoor dining on both sides of Schmiedstraße, but only the outdoor area directly in front of the restaurant is covered by an awning. The only woman in our hungry group who pays attention to such details (me and the two other friends - I wouldn't have noticed) wanted to dine under cover, but all the tables were occupied. Two men from the restaurant (possibly one of the men was the management) responded immediately and offered us their table, where both were sitting comfortably, engrossed in conversation. "Thank you so much for your help!" Impressed by this very friendly gesture and having just sat down, we began a "guest wellness program" that we all enjoyed immensely. The exceptionally attentive staff looked after us with the utmost care! Amazing! We all enjoyed the food very much, and the portion sizes were decent. What we ate: Calamari salad, mixed salad, gyro plate, bifteki and Zeus platter, espresso, and non-alcoholic drinks. A clear recommendation for anyone who enjoys Greek delicacies; you can eat very well here. In addition to the culinary delights, we were impressed by the truly hospitable service. At the end, we were treated to an ouzo for everyone, all around excellent! Cared for with attention – our satisfaction was clearly the focus. The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable for a dining experience of this standard. It was a great evening with you – we'll be back!

Super tasty, friendly staff and great vibe! That’s what to expect from a Great Greek Restaurant!

We were out and about a lot on a hot summer day and just wanted to sit down in a restaurant for a drink and a quick breather. So we sat down in this restaurant, politely ordered drinks, and even used the restroom for a bit – nothing out of the ordinary. When we then said that we just wanted a drink, the waiter brusquely remarked, "We're not a cafeteria, we're a restaurant" – in a rude tone that, to be honest, really offended us. We were friendly and respectful, not wanting to be a burden to anyone. Apparently, however, they weren't interested in keeping us as guests. We paid for our drinks and left the restaurant. It's a shame – especially on a hot day, some hospitality would have been nice. This makes you feel rather unwelcome as a guest.

Very nice restaurant with plenty of seating. Stylishly decorated. Staff are courteous, friendly despite the hustle and bustle, and very helpful. I feel the food is prepared with a lot of love because, as the saying goes, "it's what you see."

We ordered two medium rump steaks, but received each two very dry pieces of meat that looked more like two slices of Bistec sandwiched together. Disappointing in both taste and quality. The waiter apologized, but we were still charged the full prize. For that price, you'd definitely expect better quality of meat and properly cooked as asked.

The food (main courses) here is really good. I think it's a shame that their desserts aren't better. We tried several desserts here (tiramisu, one with custard and one with quinces), but they were all not really good.

No long waiting times, service staff are always there immediately if you need something. The food is very tasty! The ambience is a bit old, but it is TOP clean and well maintained! Very pleasant restaurant in the center of Aachen. There was a little confusion about the reservation upon arrival, but this was quickly resolved. Greek culture flowed through the interior, as if through the food. Their "lamb counter", being an assortment of lamb meat dishes, was not to be missed. The accompanying garlic potatoes, tzatziki and salad were also very tasty. Definitely worth a visit!

That was probably our last visit. As usual, we ate pork medallion with pepper sauce. What a disappointment! The medallions were the thickness of a schnitzel and were well fried/grilled. It's a shame... they used to be juicy grilled, slightly pink on the inside and of course with the thickness to match. We told the waiter this with a note to tell the boss. Probably didn't happen. The boss is always out and about in the restaurant, but didn't come to our table.

I can definitely recommend the restaurant. It's not the "typical" Greek restaurant, as you can't just enjoy the classic dishes such as the grilled plate. We were in Aachen for 2 days and usually change restaurants on a city trip. The food here was so tasty that we made another reservation the following day. The baked dishes and the salad that comes with them are particularly recommended. The dressing is to die for! It is advisable to go out to eat a little earlier so that you can escape the noise of the guests. The restaurant is very busy.

The meat was not juicy, overcooked and downright dry. The salad was minimal with some curly lettuce and too much “yellow goo”. The service was very quick and friendly and the atmosphere was quite okay.
