I ate there for the first time yesterday with my son, and we must say this restaurant is highly recommended. The meat was delicious (perfectly mildly seasoned for me, but my son's could have used a bit more spice; that's a matter of personal taste). We were both very pleased with the quality—large portions—and the extremely friendly staff. Pleasant Greek music plays in the background, which doesn't disturb our conversation at all. The interior is very neat, and the beautiful Greek columns make it very authentic and cozy. We will definitely be back for more enjoyable meals in the future. At the end, we couldn't miss the ouzo, which was politely offered to us. 👌 We were very satisfied.

Friendly service. The food: The food arrived shortly after ordering. Great! Right? But the gyros and pork steak were lukewarm. Consequently, the steak was almost impossible to cut with a knife. Complaints were also heard from the next table. Given the price, I wouldn't be coming back!

If you have celiac disease, this is not a good place to go. The waiter didn't take me seriously at all, refused to check with the kitchen whether a dish was truly gluten-free, and then spent the whole evening making bad and rude jokes about my food intolerance. It was a really unpleasant experience, and I won't be coming back.

I spontaneously decided to stop in today on my mother-in-law's recommendation and was very pleasantly surprised. I can highly recommend it. The food was plentiful, delicious, and fairly priced. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

We were a group of 10 and ate there after visiting the Christmas market. The restaurant was naturally full, but the wait for our food was reasonable. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was very attentive. We would definitely eat there again.

There's no such thing as a long meal. A starter, a main course, and within an hour we were out the door again. The food was excellent, though.

We were there. The waitress and waitresses were really friendly - you can't say anything about that. About the food - but! The meat on the Acropolis platter was really inedible. Tough, and even the knife wouldn't cut through it. The gyro, however, was very tasty - thin, hardly any fat, and perfectly edible. The garlic potato slices were also quite tasty. Now for the downsides: We almost fell over - €7.50 for a bottle of water (0.75l). That was the most expensive water we've ever drunk. Absolutely unacceptable! It's already on the level of Milan prices. We wouldn't order it again. About the coziness: Well, you have to like it. Everything is quite dark! We've seen different things in Greece. It's a shame, really... Conclusion: The food was okay, and the price was also reasonable (except for the water). Will we come back? Probably not...

First visit to Palladion and I was immediately won over!!! Attractive design!!! Beautiful area, next to the Dom Aachen! Wonderful service from professionals with warm hearts! Delicious, tasty, filling food! Amazing dessert! I recommend it to all of you!!! I will definitely choose it again!!! I will never eat here again. A restaurant is a place where you offer food and service. The food is okay, but the service is extremely rude. I agree with the reviews by Jurriaan de Graaf and Maaike Valé in these reviews. A waiter is extremely rude and refuses to bring my food to my table, so I have to sit somewhere else. The two days before, I had eaten at the same table. I was already seated, my drink was finished, the food was already on the table, and he demanded that I move. He hadn't asked me. I'm going to the Greek café Ouzeria now. Good food and waiters who know what service is all about.

Too bad, the otherwise delicious garlic potatoes were barely cooked and still a bit pale. The bifteki and gyros were okay, though I've had better meals elsewhere. The salad, however, was far from Greek. Lots of curly lettuce, one tomato, no cucumber, and drenched in a dressing that tasted a bit like honey mustard? We paid after one drink. Not something we'll be returning. The staff was friendly, though.

This is an excellent spot to get some of the local atmosphere; they have a terrific outside dining place with view of the surroundings. Staff is also very nice and helpfull. That being said, the food was not so great. I got the rump steak, and it was pretty tough to cut and chew; not what I expected. Seasoning and side dishes were OK. So there is room for improvement, and then this would be the go-back-spot right away.

Amin is a very good waiter and never forgets what was ordered. I am very satisfied and recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent, and the chef is fantastic.

Not far from the cathedral, this restaurant offers fresh and balanced dishes. The welcome is warm, and the servers are very helpful and attentive. I ate a delicious goat cheese salad on the terrace, accompanied by ouzo, a strong and delicate aniseed aperitif.

Palladion in Aachen I've often walked past this Greek restaurant and thought to myself, "Man, I absolutely have to eat here sometime - the smells are so good - it'll be a feast for my palate." Last night, Saturday, July 5, 2025, I went there with three friends. I had reserved a table for four people, but secretly hoped to get a seat outside (the outside seats are understandably not reserved). The restaurant offers outdoor dining on both sides of Schmiedstraße, but only the outdoor area directly in front of the restaurant is covered by an awning. The only woman in our hungry group who pays attention to such details (me and the two other friends - I wouldn't have noticed) wanted to dine under cover, but all the tables were occupied. Two men from the restaurant (possibly one of the men was the management) responded immediately and offered us their table, where both were sitting comfortably, engrossed in conversation. "Thank you so much for your help!" Impressed by this very friendly gesture and having just sat down, we began a "guest wellness program" that we all enjoyed immensely. The exceptionally attentive staff looked after us with the utmost care! Amazing! We all enjoyed the food very much, and the portion sizes were decent. What we ate: Calamari salad, mixed salad, gyro plate, bifteki and Zeus platter, espresso, and non-alcoholic drinks. A clear recommendation for anyone who enjoys Greek delicacies; you can eat very well here. In addition to the culinary delights, we were impressed by the truly hospitable service. At the end, we were treated to an ouzo for everyone, all around excellent! Cared for with attention – our satisfaction was clearly the focus. The price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable for a dining experience of this standard. It was a great evening with you – we'll be back!

Super tasty, friendly staff and great vibe! That’s what to expect from a Great Greek Restaurant!

We were out and about a lot on a hot summer day and just wanted to sit down in a restaurant for a drink and a quick breather. So we sat down in this restaurant, politely ordered drinks, and even used the restroom for a bit – nothing out of the ordinary. When we then said that we just wanted a drink, the waiter brusquely remarked, "We're not a cafeteria, we're a restaurant" – in a rude tone that, to be honest, really offended us. We were friendly and respectful, not wanting to be a burden to anyone. Apparently, however, they weren't interested in keeping us as guests. We paid for our drinks and left the restaurant. It's a shame – especially on a hot day, some hospitality would have been nice. This makes you feel rather unwelcome as a guest.

Very nice restaurant with plenty of seating. Stylishly decorated. Staff are courteous, friendly despite the hustle and bustle, and very helpful. I feel the food is prepared with a lot of love because, as the saying goes, "it's what you see."

We ordered two medium rump steaks, but received each two very dry pieces of meat that looked more like two slices of Bistec sandwiched together. Disappointing in both taste and quality. The waiter apologized, but we were still charged the full prize. For that price, you'd definitely expect better quality of meat and properly cooked as asked.

No long waiting times, service staff are always there immediately if you need something. The food is very tasty! The ambience is a bit old, but it is TOP clean and well maintained! Very pleasant restaurant in the center of Aachen. There was a little confusion about the reservation upon arrival, but this was quickly resolved. Greek culture flowed through the interior, as if through the food. Their "lamb counter", being an assortment of lamb meat dishes, was not to be missed. The accompanying garlic potatoes, tzatziki and salad were also very tasty. Definitely worth a visit!

That was probably our last visit. As usual, we ate pork medallion with pepper sauce. What a disappointment! The medallions were the thickness of a schnitzel and were well fried/grilled. It's a shame... they used to be juicy grilled, slightly pink on the inside and of course with the thickness to match. We told the waiter this with a note to tell the boss. Probably didn't happen. The boss is always out and about in the restaurant, but didn't come to our table.

I can definitely recommend the restaurant. It's not the "typical" Greek restaurant, as you can't just enjoy the classic dishes such as the grilled plate. We were in Aachen for 2 days and usually change restaurants on a city trip. The food here was so tasty that we made another reservation the following day. The baked dishes and the salad that comes with them are particularly recommended. The dressing is to die for! It is advisable to go out to eat a little earlier so that you can escape the noise of the guests. The restaurant is very busy.

The meat was not juicy, overcooked and downright dry. The salad was minimal with some curly lettuce and too much “yellow goo”. The service was very quick and friendly and the atmosphere was quite okay.

We had dinner there yesterday and we weren't happy at all. At first everything was good, service was nice, cards and drinks came quickly. There was a mix-up while eating. Someone else had my food and was already starting to eat when the waiter noticed the mistake. The other person got their real food and I was handed the plate I had started. I didn't get a new one. Not an apology at first. Overall, there was extremely little on the plate. Tiganaki pan, actually with mushrooms and peppers. All in all, there wasn't even a whole mushroom in there and a maximum of a quarter of a pepper. More like they both fell in accidentally. The chicken was okay, the sauce was a bit off. Plus 5 croquettes. Wow. This then costs €22.90. I find the few things really outrageous. Because I looked so sad, the waiter brought me another 5 croquettes as an apology. When we wanted dessert, the request for a card was ignored. To pay we had to ask three times and wait forever. It wasn't that crowded at all. When the waiter then collected the money, we waited forever because the EC device was not available. Instead of at least collecting money from those paying in cash, he preferred to run away. I was the last to be cashed in. Then we ran away again. When I was finally able to pay, there were some rude comments and rather bitchy behavior from the waiter. I was reminded, almost offended, that they had brought me croquettes out of the goodness of my heart. I have no idea what suddenly happened, but I didn't feel like tipping anymore for the behavior towards us. All in all, the restaurant was pleasant and the menu was okay. After leaving we went out again looking for something to eat, as I in particular was still extremely hungry. Really bad. I'm not coming back.

Das Ambiente war ansprechend. Das Personal freundlich, trotz vollem Restaurant. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, das Fleisch war etwas trocken. Speisen -und Getränkeauswahl ausreichend vorhanden. Preise waren noch ok, wobei für eine Saftschorle groß man mehr als 6€ zahlt. Das ist schon teuer. An den Toiletten dürfte mal eine Renovierung durchgeführt werden. Auf der Damentoilette, war keine Seife und die Hände musste man sich mit Zewa trocknen.

Die männliche Bedienung war überaus unfreundlich und reagierte bei Fragen sehr schnippig. Rollte mehrfach mit den Augen und stritt sich sogar vor uns Kunden mit einem anderen Kellner und meinte auch einen sarkastischen Spruch Richtung Kunden abzulassen. Dass man bei den hohen Preisen wenigstens eine gewisse Freundlichkeit erwarten kann, auch wenn der Laden durch den Weihnachtsmarkt voll ist, kann man wohl erwarten. Das sich das Trinkgeld zurecht im Bereich des Gefrierpunktes befand, war selbsterklärend. Für große Gruppen müssten Lösungen gefunden werden im Bereich der Akkustik. Man hat im Lokal den Eindruck dass möglichst jeder Zentimeter genutzt werden möchte und so einzelne Plätze sehr unpassend erscheinen. Man sitzt schon sehr eng zu anderen Gästen

Grote zaak, best sfeervol. Zat aardig vol. Eten was prima, bediening snel en correct. Hebben mixdvoorafjes en mix schotel als hoofd to chair genomen. Was genoeg voor ons, en lekker gegeten.

Had dinner in the restaurant with our children last night. Food, service, ambience, everything was great. Everyone was also child-friendly and our boys felt comfortable and noticed.

Estábamos visitando Aquisgrán solo para una parada. La ciudad estaba ocupada y lo que hizo fue el restaurante. Sin embargo, conseguimos una mesa y nos sirvieron rápidamente. Buena elección y bueno para los vegetarianos, también. La comida era preciosa.

The restaurant has Greek written all over on the inside. The service is great and the staff were so friendly. The food was really good and has the right spices with tasty tzatziki working those flavours perfectly together, but it falls a bit short from the authentic Greek food you would get on an island in Greece.
