Pablos Tapas Restaurant in Karlsruhe

So I meet the owner's son Pablo, his name is Beltran and he's very friendly.

For dinner with 9 people, service completely overwhelmed, tapas all came individually 1.5 hours apart. Some that were ordered didn't come at all. Drinks took 30 minutes and only half came in the second round. Not everyone at the table even got a bill. Another person at the table didn't get a main course.

What's going on here? We are still looking for explanations. It took an incredibly long time for our food or individual drinks to arrive. Longer than can be good with all understanding. Then comes the food and in some cases it wasn't even good. One of us didn't have a proper seat. Mix-ups, half-dead fries and then half of them were forgotten.

Authentic and very good. Nice wine selection. Definitely come back next time you visit Karlsruhe.

Paella is highly recommended. Unfortunately, the tapas only came gradually. Very unfortunate. Reservations are absolutely necessary.

We came to this restaurant through recommendation and was a bit disappointed with the experience. The service was slow. We ordered tapas and waited over 2hours for the tortilla because they told us the right process had to be followed to have a „good“ tortilla and when it arrived… the presentation wasnt even good, and the taste, nothing to be remembered by. Most of the dishes did not even arrive warm, some dishes were tasty but the majority average. Would not come back, not worth the price-value relation

Recently had dinner here with friends. We haven't been there for a long time, it was just great to enjoy the delicious tapas again! And Creme Catalane as a dessert is a must 😊 we'll be back!

We had a seat at the bar, which we knew was perfectly fine when we made the reservation. The menus, as well as the coffee machine, make a very finished and dingy impression. Taking the order was pretty quick, but a lot of things weren't available today (gambas, bacon-wrapped dates, the last wheat beer, and there was no bread at the next table anymore, so we were lucky). The food also came very quickly. The tapas ranged from very good (piementos, potatoes with salsa, the cheese platter) to well, I don't have to have it again (Albondigas) to that was really bad (extremely greasy pepper sausage, chicken wings charred, the meat fried hard). Since we couldn't manage everything, we asked to pack up the rest. We received packaging and were allowed to pack it ourselves 😂 Payment is only possible with an EC card, credit cards, no matter which ones, do not work on the card reader. The Pablos couldn't win us over as repeat offenders, which is a shame.

Thank you very much for the great evening with you. We ate very well and laughed a lot. We'll definitely be back.

Large card and sufficient quality. Unfortunately the portions of the tapas are very small. For the main courses you have to pay extra for side dishes, as €20-30 is too expensive just for a piece of meat or fish.

We (4 people) were there with two voucher blocks. It was only in the restaurant that we found out that these only apply to tapas. So I chose something from the tapas selection - one dish was pointed out as being freshly prepared and therefore taking a little longer. Ok, but two people getting their tapas 1.5 hours (!!!) before the other two is an absolute “no go”. If we hadn't asked, nothing would have happened for a long time. The fried peppers that came with an order also came considerably later. The restaurant itself is small and the atmosphere is relatively boring. You were constantly exposed to the draft when the door opened; With the outside temperature of 2 degrees it was "so cold" even though the table was in the middle of the restaurant. After entering the restaurant, I noticed an unpleasant “toilet smell”. The request for payment had to be repeated four times, but at some point we were finally able to pay the bill (we even ran out of thermal rolls for the cash register). All you can say is “once and never again,” especially since the prices aren’t exactly low.

Were here for the first time and can't understand the bad reviews. Service was super nice, we got a table with a reservation and the food was extremely tasty. We'd love to come back. Authentic Spanish food is served here.

Wir haben einen schönen Abend in gemütlicher Atmosphäre mit einem aufmerksamem, freundlichen Service verbracht. Alle bestellten Tapas waren lecker und frisch.

Hier ist eine überarbeitete Version deiner Restaurantbewertung: Leider war mein Besuch in diesem Restaurant enttäuschend. Zunächst bestellte ich ein Bier, aber der Kellner wusste nicht einmal, welche Marke er servierte. Als das Pils schließlich kam, war es offensichtlich das erste, das an diesem Tag verkauft wurde – abgestanden und ungenießbar. Als Vorspeise hatte ich die Boquerones en vinagre, die jedoch durchaus gut waren und ansprechend serviert wurden. Danach bestellte ich die Croquetas de Pollo, die leider eine Enttäuschung waren. Sie schmeckten wie eine geschmacklose Mehlpampe, schlecht gewürzt. Die Beilage bestand aus einem Salatschnipsel, dessen Inneres offensichtlich verwelkt war. Ich wies den Wirt darauf hin, doch seine Antwort war unbefriedigend: „Man kann die Bällchen so oder so machen.“ Auf die Bemerkung zum Salat meinte er nur, dass es nicht weiter schlimm sei, aber dennoch ärgerlich. Es gab auch keine nachträgliche Aufmerksamkeit wie etwa ein Kaffee oder ähnliches, der Service ließ insgesamt zu wünschen übrig. Zum Abschluss gab es die Rechnung – und wie erwartet, war ein Tinto Wein aufgeführt, den ich weder bestellt noch getrunken hatte, für 6,10€. Ein eher unangenehmer Versuch, etwas hinzuzufügen, das nicht bestellt wurde. Leider kann ich das Restaurant nicht empfehlen und werde dort selbst nicht mehr einkehren. Auch wenn ich es versäumt habe, Fotos zu machen, kann ich sagen, dass das Erlebnis alles andere als zufriedenstellend war.

I ordered a dish with dates and bacon, but it smelled strongly of other meats or fried foods from the oil. It seemed like the oil was either not clean or the dish was over fried as it was quite dark. Unfortunately, the sangria also had a strong water taste. A year ago I was very happy with the restaurant, but when I visited again I was disappointed.

Nice table in the corner, friendly service. Almost all tapas were very salty, dates wrapped in bacon were very crispy and very little for the money. Payment by credit card or cash was not possible, only EC card was possible after trying all cards.

Leider kann ich keine Bewertung über das Essen schreiben, aber über die Art und Weise, wie man mit Gästen umgeht. Wir hatten Donnerstags via Internet einen Tisch für den Sonntag Abend reserviert. Da keine Bestätigung kam, versuchten wir es via Telefon am Freitag. Gar kein Problem, sagte man uns, geht in Ordnung . Am Samstag wurden wir dann Abends angerufen, das sie uns den Tisch nicht geben können, da sie geschlossen haben!? So etwas geht gar nicht. Frechheit. Wir werden bestimmt nicht mehr in so ein Restaurant gehen.

Had tapas and paella as the main course. The dishes were very tasty. Service was friendly and quick. Try the Pimientos de Padrón (tapas). Gladly again!

So first of all, that was the worst thing we've experienced so far in terms of food, location and service. But everything from the beginning. We made a reservation on December 28th for 9 people. When the first of us arrived we were assigned a set table for six and a small side table for two!? Find the error. But okay, since there were only 8 of us, we gathered around the table for 6. A bit cozy but it works. The food/drinks were consumed relatively quickly. Drinks came, but the water glasses were anything but clean. So here too, since not everyone wanted water, it was sorted out. The food I ordered (price performance incomprehensible) came drop by drop so that the first ones were already finished before I was the last to get the food and had to eat alone. About the location: In my opinion, a bit dingy and the sanitary facilities are horrible. So we definitely won't go there again.

Unfortunately, the mixed reviews are true. We made reservations for three people. So when we came there was no table available... After guests left, the three of us got a table in the corner that would have been too small for two people... Plates were dirty, cutlery was carelessly placed in the middle of the table. Even the menus were totally broken and dirty... We then left without eating there.

Today again at Pablos! Since we didn't have a reservation, we were there at 6:15 p.m. The restaurant was half empty and the misery began. First of all: you still sit in a nice atmosphere. The food is still good, maybe a little too much oil. But really good. Thanks! The service was appalling. When we shouted loudly after 20 minutes, we at least received a card. And things continued at this pace. We decided quickly - but what's the point if no one looks at us for a long time? The food actually came quite quickly. Oh, and at some point, almost surprisingly, my glass of wine arrived. Of course the misery continued until payment was made. I didn't look closely at the clock - but half an hour after we asked for the bill (not that easy when no one is looking at you), it came. It got funny towards the end. At the next table, a guest who was also slightly irritated asked whether they made their own mineral water in this house. And whether there would be wine to order that was already ready and didn't need to mature. A positive thing to mention is that the three people in service don't exude any hassle. They were calm itself. That is important in these hectic times.

Very tasty food, great atmosphere

We (4 people) expected more. The service was not customer-oriented, there were no drinks or there were not enough of them. The tapas we ordered didn't come in the right order and one order was forgotten, another was delivered incorrectly... the only bright spot was the wine even though we... Lack had to change. Maybe the dishes on the menu would have been a better choice. Whether we come back a second time...

We were really looking forward to this evening at Pablos to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our food, even though there were only two people in the restaurant next to us. In addition, the meat for both main meals we ordered was very dry and the fried potatoes we ordered were swimming in fat. We expected more for the price. We won't come back.

Als Spanier sollte man wissen wie eine Paella gemacht wird und wie sie schmecken sollte. Paella war total trocken. Sehr wenig Fisch,Fleisch und Gemüse. Der Geschmack eine Katastrophe. Die Paella wurde mit Sicherheit nicht frisch zubereitet sondern im Ofen warm gemacht. Das erklärt auch warum die Tinten Fischringe so hart waren und das Fleisch und der Reis so trocken. Die Tapas waren soweit ok. Der Service nett aber auch nicht der beste. Hatten Alioli wo eigentlich Brot dazu gehört. War leider nicht so. Das Brot wird am Ende berechnet. Das Lokal selber ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet aber leider reicht das am Ende nicht aus um das Lokal nochmals zu besuchen. Preisleistung stimmt leider nicht. Schade.

I can't really understand the good comments, for me it was rather disappointing. The tortiallas were not fresh and had no taste, other dishes were far too fatty (because they were fried). But the service was nice and accommodating.

Unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant war eine große Enttäuschung. Wir waren drei Paare mit zwei Kindern und hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Leider ließ der Service stark zu wünschen übrig. Das Essen kam nicht zeitgleich. Immer nur einzelne Gerichte wurden gebracht, was besonders frustrierend war. Wir hatten eine Paella für zwei Personen bestellt und mussten fast zwei Stunden (ca. 1:40h) darauf warten. In der Zwischenzeit hatten unsere Freunde bereits ihre Gerichte erhalten und gegessen. Ein Paar aus unserer Gruppe hatte sogar schon gezahlt und sich verabschiedet, während wir noch auf unser Essen warteten. Als wir die Bedienung darauf ansprachen, wurde der Chef gerufen, der sich als völlig inkompetent und unprofessionell entpuppte. Laut und unfreundlich weigerte er sich, unsere berechtigte Beschwerde ernst zu nehmen. Anstatt das Problem zu lösen, nahm er einfach die Paella-Pfanne vom Tisch und erklärte, wir müssten dafür nicht zahlen, was die Situation nur weiter eskalierte und absolut inakzeptabel war. Daraufhin haben wir für das andere Essen gezahlt und sind schnell gegangen. Insgesamt war der Service unprofessionell, und die Unfreundlichkeit des Chefs hat den Abend ruiniert. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen und werde dort nicht wieder hingehen.

Our visit to this restaurant was a big disappointment. We were three couples with two children and were looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. The food didn't come at the same time. Only individual dishes were brought, which was particularly frustrating. We ordered paella for two people and had to wait almost two hours (approx. 1:40h) for it. Meanwhile, our friends had already received and eaten their dishes. A couple in our group had even paid and said goodbye while we were still waiting for our food. When we asked the waitress about it, the boss was called, who turned out to be completely incompetent and unprofessional. Loud and unfriendly, he refused to take our legitimate complaint seriously. Instead of resolving the issue, he simply took the paella pan off the table and stated we didn't have to pay for it, which only further escalated the situation and was completely unacceptable. We then paid for the other meal and left quickly. Overall, the service was unprofessional, and the boss's rudeness ruined the evening. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not go there again.

Cute restaurant, very friendly service staff, but very quickly overwhelmed which leads to very long waiting times, especially for drinks. The price is very high and what leads to a high star deduction for us is the unqualified owner (unfriendly, no appreciation) and the stomach problems a few hours after our visit.

Very disappointing! We had booked a table for our 20 birthday guests. This was confirmed both by telephone and email. We arrive on site, unfortunately no one is able to speak to us in German or English or show us our table. We wait patiently, but there is total chaos around us. All of the small plates were very enjoyable! The menu has a great amount of variety, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The location and atmosphere are also quite lovely - especially when you can sit outside and enjoy the nice weather.

I've always enjoyed going to this restaurant, even though it's not exactly cheap. I even promoted it and told my friends that we had to go to Pablo's. We were therefore really looking forward to an extensive tapas evening for the three of us and made a reservation four weeks in advance. Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed: instead of a nice place to spend a summer day outside, we were put in the darkest corner, right next to a barking dog and an area that looked like a storage area. There were several empty tables for two on the side of the street - it probably wouldn't have taken much effort to plan the seats better. When we asked for a better seat, the staff seemed rather annoyed. We were also not offered to put the tables together as this was declined due to the supposedly limited space. We decided to go without eating as I don't want to spend my money next to a barking dog and no ambience. I give 3 stars for the positive experiences I have had on previous visits. It's a shame because we expected more.

We were there yesterday and unfortunately I was already disappointed. The service took good care of us, but only brought the second glass of wine when we asked. But: friendly effort. We organized the menu ourselves. However, they stuck. Regarding the tapas: unfortunately disappointed. Dates wrapped in bacon: unfortunately the bacon is not crispy. Tortilla: unfortunately burned at the bottom, potatoes tasted as if the tortilla had been prepared, stored in the refrigerator and then heated again (then too hot). Chicken croquettes: were ok Pimientos del Padron: also fried, stored and probably heated in the microwave, as it is too hot and the peel and fruit are very soft. Huevos rotos: (it was called differently on the menu) unfortunately oversalted and dry. All in all, it's a shame because there are few opportunities in Durlach to "go out for a leisurely stroll". Please give it some gas and we'll come back.

It was probably a lot of bad luck for us, but: If you have to get a menu yourself from the other table... If drinks are stated to be larger on the menu than in reality... If the drinks take more than half an hour to reach the table because we are forced to reorder several times... If the ingredients listed on the menu are missing from the plate and are only delivered after a complaint has been made... If the Spanish paella is very dry and tasteless... ...then you know that the restaurant has a quality problem and you won't be coming back.

Das war für uns der angenehmste Ort in Karlsruhe. Umgebung nett. Wir waren schon recht hungrig, die Tapas kamen auch schnell, waren offensichtlich frisch zubereitet, eine schöne Auswahl und alle wohlschmeckend.

The meat in the paella was totally dry and seasonless - it seems to me it was from last week. My tip, which came 20 minutes after my meal, unfortunately I couldn't eat it because it was inedible. It was simply outrageous to charge so much money for this quality. Patatas bravas like they came from the microwave, mushrooms definitely from the freezer and paella that just wasn't seasoned at all. Plus everything took forever. For a 10 euro dish that might have been acceptable, but definitely not for that price. And in the end you weren't even full.

After a lot of deliberation (we had made a reservation last time and still couldn't get a place), we made a reservation here again for our anniversary and were really looking forward to it; this time the place worked out. The service person was friendly and tried hard, but apparently unfortunately alone, he probably had to serve and tap, which meant that it took longer when you ordered drinks. It would be good if there was someone inside to prepare the drinks. We ordered different tapas, unfortunately they didn't all come together, but one after the other, because according to the service person there are 2 people in the kitchen and one only does certain things and the other does the other things, which seemed strange to us we ordered 2 different patata (potatoes) and one came at the very beginning and the other at the end. We would have liked to have everything on the table together and started eating together, as each of us chose a part of the tapas, if we had waited until everything was on the table then the first things would have been cold. I was also a bit disappointed with the meat (zorza), there were 4 pieces of pork (roasted too long for my taste) and potatoes underneath (this is not on the menu), we would have liked to have skipped the potatoes since we had already ordered potatoes I personally found 4 pieces of pork a bit little. All in all, we probably won't come back anytime soon, but will try to find another tapas restaurant.

Very nicely decorated restaurant. A bit tight in some places. Reservation is definitely recommended, especially on weekends. Toilets are in the basement. A narrow staircase leads down. There are also two steps to overcome at the entrance. Staff very friendly. Drinks were picked up quickly. Unfortunately, half of the drinks first came after almost 20 minutes and only after requesting. The same with food. Some got their food and the others had to wait another almost 25 minutes. We were also not asked again if we would like another drink. The floors could be cleaned more often. We had come straight to the opening and they were visibly dirty. On the way to the toilet you can smell the smell of a cold dog. The toilets could use a refresh.

Really disappointing, service is extremely slow, 2/4 people of my group allready finished after the two other dishes arrived. The quality of the dishes is not good, it was a disappointing and bad experience ! —- Update : We did notify you that 2/4 people where still waiting on there food (30 min).., and we send food back (that came back the same way: burned). Also I notified you that you could leave the drinks that we where waiting on (after 20 min) because we finish our diner. Also when I go to pay you, I notified you again that we were not satisfied at all, and you only say “I understand”. Maybe we were the only customer that was not happy … but I doubt it.

We chose this restaurant because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately we cannot confirm these good reviews. Initially there was only one employee who took care of both the service and the kitchen. The prawns were overcooked and after 45 minutes of waiting for bread we finally gave up and decided to leave the restaurant. At some point another waitress came along and both employees were nice and helpful. When we paid we were offered bread, but by then we were already at the counter and finished eating.

Unfortunately, a very long waiting time. The first two of six tapas came very quickly, and the drinks also came fairly quickly. We waited in vain for the remaining tapas. When I asked, the answer was, they're coming soon, but they weren't even ordered in the kitchen!!! Unfortunately the prawns in oil were not cleaned!! An absolute no-go.

For work we ended up in an area unknown to us, looking for dinner (and already tired of the native cuisine). We found Pablos Tapas. In addition to eating incredibly well, without missing the food from home, they gave us exquisite treatment and a degree of trust worthy of mention. Thank you very much Pablo, you saved a compromised moment with great skill and we can only thank you for the detail. We will return, no doubt. All the best

Achtung, dien positiven Bewertungen sind teilweise aus 2015. Da war das Restaurant noch ein reeller, guter Tipp. Inzwischen ist es zu einer Abzocker -Kneipe verkommen. Für genau 10 Stück wirklich kleine Gambas al Aioli (deutlich kleiner als mein kleiner Finger!), werden in einer dünnen Öl -Soße 14,90€ aufgerufen!!!! Ohne Pan/Brot, das dauerte ca. 40 Minuten bis es gebacken war. Gericht musste erneut gewärmt werden. Dann kam der nächste Schreck, denn dafür wurden 2,40 € extra berechnet. Gesamt-Rechnung somit 17,80€. Ich hatte auch noch Boquerones fritos. Als Beilage kam ein klitzekleinen Schälchen mit Aioli , Durchmesser ca. 5cm und Höhe ca. 8mm!!! Vermutlich nicht mehr als ein gut gefüllter Esslöffel. Hintergrund : Eine zusätzliche Bestellung wird damit versucht zu generieren. Mit anderen Worten : Nie wieder, wer abgezockt werden will soll hingehen. Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht -es war einmal...jetzt Abzocker-Lokal pur.

One of the best tapas restaurants I've eaten at. There aren't many tapas restaurants here and most of them don't have the quality of food like Pablos. I realize that not everything can be prepared fresh, but the food at Pablos is consistently delicious. Pablo is a super friendly host who makes the customer feel comfortable. If you haven't eaten here yet, you should definitely take the time and visit Pablos. Reservation is recommended.

The service was friendly and quick, we didn't miss anything and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food, even though there were 8 of us there and the restaurant was full. The prices were right and everything tasted great. We will definitely go there again. We had a lovely evening and are already looking forward to our next visit to Pablos.

Absolutely identical Best Spaniard

Small, quaint restaurant. The design is reminiscent of a rustic Bavarian restaurant, but has been lovingly decorated with Spanish pictures etc.👍 The food was very very tasty! We had 3 starters and 2 main courses. The meat was super juicy and tender, right to the point.👍 The fries were still dripping a bit in frying oil, but were still very tasty. The service is probably debatable. We ordered the drinks, which came super quickly, less than 5 minutes, the starters took almost 30 minutes to arrive. We had bread in between, but no aioli, which only came 15 minutes later. Almost 15 minutes later the starter arrived. Things went quite quickly until the main course. What we think needs to be improved is that it should be ensured that bread and aioli are served together on the table, otherwise you'll end up sitting there with just one basket of bread for a really long time. In between, it would have been nice to be asked if everything was still okay and that the empty plates would be cleared away. Unfortunately you had to ask the waiter to do this. Speaking of waiters, we were asked to please speak Spanish to them, which neither my husband nor I can do. We then agreed to give each other a thumbs up and point to the food. Despite the somewhat unsuccessful service, we will come back.

A fantastic culinary experience! The food in the Spanish restaurant was simply divine - each tapas was a taste experience in itself. The flavors were authentic and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. An absolute must for lovers of Spanish cuisine! 5 Stars!

Irgendwas ist an dem Abend wohl schief gegangen, bei Pablos. Die beiden überaus netten jungen "Kellner" haben sich irgendwie bemüht, hatten aber leider (so unser Eindruck) keinerlei Servier-/Restaurant-/Gastroerfahrung. Hinzu kam, dass die Weine, die wir bestellen wollten, zwar auf der Karte, nicht aber verfügbar waren, und zwar die meisten: "Haben wir nicht. Den haben wir auch nicht. Den auch nicht." Das Essen war alles in Allem ok. Bei den Oliven waren wir dann doch etwas stutzig: statt toller spanischer Oliven gab's die billigen vom Aldi, die aus den Plastiktüten, bei denen die Kerne entfernt wurden, zusammen mit Silberzwiebeln und sauren Gurken. Echt jetzt???

Fangen wir mit dem positiven an. Atmosphäre klein urig einladend, wir haben zu 8 Tapas bestellt und die waren von sehr gut bis schlecht. Der Pulpo und die Albondegas waren perfekt, die Calamares waren in einer geschmacklosen Panade und fest wie ein Autoreifen traurig war die Paella die hat nach TK Ware geschmeckt das Huhn darin war Butterweich. Die Croquettas waren innen sehr matschig. Der Service war unter aller Sau und der Laden war Anfangs leer nur noch ein Tisch mit 6 Personen, auf das Bier haben wir 25min gewartet obwohl die Damen Ihren Aperol schon nach 5min bekamen. Der Mojito wurde wohl eingeflogen auch der lies 30min auf sich warten. Die Bedienung kam ein einziges Mal ohne Sie zu rufen zum Tisch, Brot kam nach erneutem Anfragen 20min später auch mal. Also im Schnitt ist es sein Geld nicht wert. Wir hatten eine Rechnung von ca. 300€ für die Qualität einfach frech. Wir werden wohl nur noch zu Torro‘s gehen.

Leider enttäuschend. Wasserflecken auf den Gläsern, Service unterirdisch langsam. Haben 15 min gewartet bis die Getränke aufgenommen wurden und weitere 15 min bis diese da waren und der Laden war mit 3 weiteren Tischen besetzte also nicht voll. Haben ewig auf das Brot gewartet und und und…. Essen eher mittelmäßig, alles in allem kann man sich den Besuch sparen. Wer auch immer es dort so toll findet ok Geschmäcker sind verschieden, dennoch es gibt weit aus bessere Läden! Zudem haben die uns vorab 3 mal angerufen um die Reservierung zu bestätigen und haben diese dann falsch vermerkt, hätten wir selbst nicht nochmal nach dem Datum gefragt wäre diese geplatzt.

Hiermit möchte ich Ihnen mitteilen, was uns gestern am 21.3.24 Abend passiert ist. Es war enttäuschend. Wir hatten einen Tisch auf 20 Uhr reserviert um den Geburtstag meiner 81 jährigen Mutter zu feiern. Als wir ankamen, war kein Tisch verfügbar. Am selbigen Tag hatten wir die Reservierung telefonisch bestätigt! Der Herr vom Service war nicht wirklich bemüht um eine Lösung. Auf Nachfrage schlug er vor, am Tresen zu warten, für ca. ne halbe Stunde. Wir sind dann gegangen. So kann man doch nicht mit Gästen umgehen! Nie wieder!

The tapas are a culinary experience. An original Spanish restaurant as you wish. Every time you visit you feel comfortable, receive excellent food and go home with a good feeling. This is how a successful evening should go, the host clearly knows his craft.

Delicious tapas and good wine, what more could you want? We liked it. We will come back.

Unfortunately, the food was almost exclusively very, very disgusting. We also waited half an hour until we could order drinks; during and after the meal, the actually nice service was no longer at the table. The restaurant was not full at this time.

Very friendly hosts, great selection and the tapas were very tasty. The atmosphere is super cozy.

Don't.Eat.Here. Rarely experienced such a failure. Just wondering where the 4.6 stars come from. It started with the reservation. I wasn't called back and didn't get a confirmation. The restaurant cannot be reached by phone on either number. Numbers unknown it said. I went anyway and was grumpily assigned a table by a waiter. Welcome atmosphere zero. When I asked about WiFi, he looked for a key, but there wasn't one. Bad luck. He didn't care either. In other countries people would at least apologize. The restaurant is a dead zone, stupid if you go out to eat without someone accompanying you. Let's get to food. Pulpo a la gallega. Missing whistle, there is better somewhere else. The ham croquettes were ready-made mash from the microwave, and they were delivered to me quite cool. At least, after waiting for a while, I spotted a waitress who even agreed to heat it up again in the microwave. But that didn't make them any more palatable. The wine was described promisingly on the menu, but here too I couldn't find anything that would motivate me to go here again. Let's get to the payment. As is well known, this is a problem in Germany anyway. Three attempts with the Girocard (no, not with the evil credit card ;-) ) didn't work. I wasn't willing to let these people send me to the nearest ATM. They should ensure that you can pay cashless, it works elsewhere too. I gave them my contact details, let's see what happens. People - never again!
