The price/performance ratio for the doner kebab is poor. Worst doner kebab of 2025. The other dishes look significantly better.

We were quite disappointed with our doner kebab today. The bread wasn't toasted, and the sauce was only on one side. The cucumber and tomato were cut way too big. The meat was just piled on top of the salad and looked overcooked. And they completely forgot the onions... What a shame :(

I ate there yesterday and I'm really disappointed. We ordered two large doner kebab plates and paid a total of €38 for what we received, which is absolutely unjustified. The portions were surprisingly small and could have easily been considered small doner kebab plates. Even worse, however, was the quality of the meat: it consisted mostly of chunks of fat and seemed generally low-quality. We couldn't even eat half of it because it was simply inedible. This is particularly appalling for me because I've been eating there for about 17 years and have always appreciated the place. It's all the more disheartening to see how much the meat quality has deteriorated over the years. For me, it was a very unpleasant and disappointing experience. The price and quality are completely out of proportion, and I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this criticism seriously.

Everything is great, the service quality and the food are really sad, but the only big problem and issue is that Visa Cards are not valid, only the giro card is valid. Currently, almost everyone and every bank in Germany has switched to the Visa system, it would be better if this deficiency is resolved.

I've never experienced such an amazing Turkish restaurant! The service was friendly and attentive, and the food is simply incredible! Not only is the grilled food first-class, but the portions are also enormous—easily enough for two or even three people. I'm thrilled and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! Unfortunately, I don't live in Hanover, but if I'm ever here again, I know exactly where I absolutely have to go!

I had the mixed grill platter and was thrilled. The quality of the meat was outstanding, and everything was cooked to perfection. It was a generous portion. Excellent value for money. I was also very satisfied with the service.

Personally, I rarely eat Turkish food, so unfortunately I can't say much other than the doner kebab: Meat quality: Very good, spicy, high-quality. Bread: Very good. Sauces: Good, some could be a bit more intense. Vegetables: Good quality, tomatoes and cucumbers could be chopped a bit more finely. I'd rate the doner kebab (lamb and chicken) a solid 7/10, although 10/10 is the best "one to rule them all" doner kebab.

The food at Öz Urfa Langenhagen is incredibly delicious. You're greeted very politely, and the team caters to your every need. Especially the best waiter, "Hüseyin." The restaurant should consider itself truly fortunate to have such an outstanding person on its team! As for the food... for me, they offer the freshest and most delicious appetizer, the Ezme/Cacik, before your meal! The Mercimek soup is the best in the entire region, and when I want to eat kebabs in the area, I always come here because the kebabs are excellent. Thank you for an unforgettable taste experience, great service, and for the tea that the lovely waiter Hüseyin brings before you ask for it. Thank you.

Unfortunately, today was abysmally bad!!! I had a doner roll with veal, salad, and tzatziki, and it was extremely tasteless, dry, and I had to spit out several pieces because they contained bacon...and for THAT price! I probably won't be coming back anytime soon...

Excellent Turkish restaurant but does not accept Visa or travel cards

The meat's quality was not that good, and I had a stomach ache afterwards. The only good thing about here was the lentil soup. There were a lot of tables with customers, but only 2 servers were available. They mix orders with tables, which is understandable for this situation, but management should take care of this. That being said, there is no prices written in the menu. This is always a bad sign in my book. The prices are much higher than their equivalents in Turkey, but not even close to the quality of an average restaurant in there. They accept only specific credit cards by the way. I don't think I'd go there again anytime soon unless they change for the better.

The kebab only had one sauce and didn't taste like much. When I was ordering, a man was taking my order and interrupted it without saying anything, as if I wasn't there. I asked if I was going to be served now or the man. The answer was, "I don't understand," "Yes, I don't understand, because you didn't speak German to the man." Just because I'm a German woman, I'll never go into that shop again.

It's a great place. There's really no place to go in Honolulu, so this is a place where you can at least host your guests. The chicken soup is delicious.

Very tasty food of consistently good quality. The mixed meat platter is excellent; we come regularly and have never been disappointed. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything is perfect, and the price-performance ratio is also good. It's a bit higher here than usual. On the downside, the menu no longer lists prices, and you can no longer pay by credit card; only cash or Maestro.

Good restaurant, but there is one problem, namely the lack of Wi-Fi, which is why I am rating the restaurant one star instead of five.

Friendly staff and delicious food. The fact that many (presumably) Turkish people dine there was a testament to the quality. We weren't disappointed. Only the chicken was a bit too fatty for my girlfriend, and my veal doner could have used more tzatziki – but that's probably a matter of personal preference.

The food is good, no question, but what we experienced last night was not pleasant. We were ignored throughout. We said please and thank you after every sentence – we were punished with silence. When paying, we still tipped despite the behavior – no thanks, no nothing. We were so upset that we sat in the car and cried. We won't be coming again.

I was particularly impressed by the Urfa specialties, such as the tender kebabs and spicy mezze. Every bite is a taste experience full of flavor and freshness. The value for money is also absolutely spot on – the quality and taste are worth every cent. If you love Turkish cuisine or just want to try something new, you should definitely visit Öz Urfa! I will definitely be back and highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine and warm service.

Fast, simply uncomplicated. I eat there every time before I fly from Hanover. The value for money is excellent, opening hours are simply great, service is super fast, and there are no waiting times. I'd happily go back!

Super restaurant you can't go wrong

What I've personally noticed is that when some customers don't eat the bread from the table, it ends up back on the counter. Yesterday, I saw a customer not drink their tea; it was simply poured back into the container. I don't recommend this name.

There were four of us at Öz Urfa, and we each shared a dish between two people. The food was good overall – we particularly loved the lamb: tender, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The menu, however, seemed a bit monotonous to us. While there were many dishes, they were very similar in content, which lacked a bit of variety. The ambiance was fine – clean and well-maintained, but rather plain and lacking in any particular distinctiveness. What we did notice positively, however, was that the staff were very friendly and attentive, which definitely made the visit more pleasant. Overall, a well-rounded experience – not a culinary highlight, but not a disappointment either. Okay for a relaxed evening, especially if you're craving good lamb.

Unlike before, I was disappointed with the food this time. The doner meat was pale; it was cut off before it was even slightly browned. It lacked flavor. Unlike before, I wasn't impressed with the kunefe either. The baked vegetables were OK. We were very satisfied with the service.

As we drove past, the wonderful smell of grilling wafted straight into the car – we couldn't help but turn around and stop by Öz Urfa. And it was definitely the right decision! We ordered the grilled platter for two – simply magnificent! The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. We were served fresh bread with delicious dips beforehand, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive. To top it all off, we were given a free cup of tea. If I'm in the area again, I know exactly where I'll stop. Highly recommended!

Very tasty food. You can get more than just a classic kebab here. The ambiance is a bit disappointing, as you sit outside right in the parking lot, and cars come very close when parking and leaving.

I'm always happy to go back! I absolutely love going to Öz Urfa in Langenhagen – whether with friends for tea and a snack or with family for dinner. I've enjoyed eating at Öz Urfa for years. First at the branch near Steintorviertel. The last few times have been at this restaurant. First of all, it smells wonderfully of grilled meat. You do get smiles at the reception, but that's about all the flavor of this place. The smiles are only fake. The tables are rarely clean; often they just wipe them with a damp cloth. The food tasted OK. Two out of five stars for that. Service and friendliness are nonexistent. After paying, my wife and her friend weren't even said goodbye, even though the three of us had spent almost €100. The worst part is the stomachache afterward. I just wanted to eat grilled meat again. I'm sitting here now with stomach cramps, and my wife has already thrown up several times. Coincidence? No, it wasn't the first time we felt sick after a visit to Oz Urfa. I've learned my lesson. Anyone who thinks/believes the food here is good has truly never eaten high-quality, clean dishes in a fine restaurant. Never. Again. Eat. There.

I always lovingly say, "The best that Hanover and Langenhagen have to offer." No matter what time of day or night, these guys always deliver. Hygiene, speed, and taste are second to none. Many others try to copy them, but I haven't seen anything comparable. I also accidentally dropped a €100 bill from my pocket in the store once. I had left the store long ago, and the waitress ran after me outside to give it back. I love this store!

Doner bread costs 30 to 40 cents, so why should it be old? 8 euros isn't a small amount of money to buy old bread. It's a shame.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this kebab shop. Despite a price of €7.50, I had the impression that inferior meat was used, which was clearly reflected in the taste. The kebab had neither the usual quality nor the typical taste that you would expect from an Urfa kebab, for example. Unfortunately, I enjoyed it so little that I even felt disgusted. I will therefore not visit the restaurant again. As long as cheap meat is used and charges 7.50 euros for it.

You can eat but it's not like it used to be

I recently visited the restaurant and was completely impressed. The ambience is inviting and the quality of the food is second to none. The mixed meat platter in particular impresses with its authentic taste and the freshness of the ingredients. The service is attentive and friendly, which makes the stay even more pleasant. The restaurant also offers a separate area for smokers, which underlines a well thought-out concept. All in all, a culinary highlight that I can warmly recommend.

After the musical we wanted to eat something. Google showed us this place. So spontaneously. Even if the parking spaces were occupied. There are some at the restaurant. An envelope is immediately brought to the table. We ate pide with lamb and pide with mince. We were surprised. Traditionally fresh and harmoniously flavored. Delicate cross on the edge. Finally, a delicious tea. It was a nice meal that we enjoyed half outside.

We are regular guests, but today we were disappointed: Service: slow and inattentive. Grill plate: Lamb chops didn't seem fresh and were burnt. Value for money: too expensive for quality and portion size. Unfortunately there is no comparison to before – we hope for improvement.

Delicious kebab, also a large selection of other dishes. Sample bread and dip first. Very quickly, sat down to enjoy the dip and the food was there.

It's a disgraceful place, they brought something called doner kebab, I've never seen anything so disgusting in my life. The meat was rubbery and hard, I literally struggled. I wouldn't go and eat birdey if they paid more for it. I tried to eat something, left the plate and left.

I can't understand the positive reviews, we were there for iftar last Saturday, it was extremely full, the waiters were unfortunately completely overwhelmed, ordering took forever, the food was cold and uncaring.

I was eating there today with my wife and children. We were greeted by an employee who held the doors open for us, which made a great first impression. The order was taken immediately and within a very short time the food was already at our place. One complaint was that we ordered without cabbage for my wife, but that was a bit overlooked when we ordered. Can happen! We were offered tea, food was high quality and plentiful. At the end there was also lolly for my son, all in all a perfect restaurant 🤝
