Wir haben uns mit ca. 25 Personen kurzfristig angemeldet. Die Bedingungen war sehr freundlich und auf zack. Auch das Essen wurde allseits gelobt... wirklich empfehlenswert

Essen war nicht schlecht, Portionen recht klein, dafür sehr teuer. Auch hier wurden die negativen Bewertungen gelöscht, und das waren nicht wenige. So kommt das Restaurant auf 4,8 Punkte im Durchschnitt. So geht’s auch. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen

Super toll, waren begeistert, die Einrichtung ist nicht so toll, aber Rest ist wow, leider ist die Karte kleiner geworden und vegane Gerichte wurden gestrichen... doch der Service ist nach wie vor supi...

Gut bürgerliche Speisen und freundlicher,zuvorkommender Service.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit einem tollen Essen. Klassische Küche neu und modern interpretiert. Sehr freundlicher Service in gepflegtem und gemütlichen Ambiente.

Ein sauberes Restaurant, in dem man gut essen kann. Es gibt viele Spargelgerichte, hausgemachte Pasta, eine Auswahl an Fleisch- und Fischgerichten sowie deutlich gekennzeichnete vegetarische und vegane Optionen. Ich kann es empfehlen.

Es würde lange dauern, ein Restaurant wie dieses in der Bodenseeregion zu finden. Das Essen ist köstlich und preiswert. Deutsche Küche ist in Deutschland mittlerweile eine Seltenheit. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir sind nach längerer "Abstinenz" mal wieder Mittagessen im Schwanenstüble. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top, die Qualität des Essens hervorragend. Auf der Wochenkarte war eine Rinderroulade mit selbergemachten Nudeln und Rotkraut. Das war die beste Rinderroulade, die ich in einem Restaurant jemals gegessen hatte! Fleischqualität und Zubereitung absolut 1+! Auch die Rinderfiletstreifen in Pfeffersauce mit selbstgemachten Nudel waren ein Genuss! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Gut bürgerliche Küche und freundliches Personal

Hervorragend gegessen! Das Steak war ein Gedicht, der Teller ein Kunstwerk und der Service außergewöhnlich gut. Da kommt man gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit 6 Leute beim Essen. Das Restaurant war nicht voll. Von den 6 Gerichten war bei 3 das Fleisch nicht richtig pariert. Was auch gesagt wurde und man konnte es teilweise nicht essen. Die Bedienung hat es dem Koch (Chef) gesagt,was zu sehen war,da er die meiste Zeit in der Türe zur Küche stand. Entweder er beobachtete die Gäste oder war mit seinem Handy beschäftigt. Reaktion von Ihm gab es keine, dafür einen Schnaps aufs Haus. Dafür Danke. Alles in allem, oder mein Fazit, Eher Schwierig. Wobei ich es im Sommer deutlich besser erlebt habe, muss man auch sagen,und da war voll. Draußen jedenfalls.

Mit der Familie haben wir dort sehr lecker gegessen. Die Empfehlung des Chefs anstatt Rumpsteak das Rib-Eye-Steak zu nehmen war sehr gut, auf dem Punkt gebraten, sehr angenehm gewürzt, Butterbrot. Perfekt. Die Kinder waren mit Spätzle und Bratensosse sehr zufrieden und auch die Maultaschen und das Filet-Pfännle ist sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder. 😉

Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen dort . Geschmacklich war es sehr lecker . Leider kamen zum Zwiebelrostbraten , die Beilagen 10 min später . Geschmacklich aber sehr gut. Für Vegetarier stehen nicht nur Käsespätzle ( wie sonst überall) sondern auch Polentaschnitten mit Gemüse ( sehr lecker ) gern mit etwas mehr Gemüse ;-) …… und auch Salatplatten sind möglich …. Das Personal ist super nett und aufmerksam. Der neue Chef noch etwas „menschenscheu“ wir hätten uns gewünscht das er uns begrüßt …. Vielleicht ist das nicht überall üblich aber doch sehr schön und auch beliebt. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Essen , nettes Personal ….

My grandson, 4.5 years old, was there for a birthday dinner and came home hungry. He had packed his food, but it was unidentifiable – mush with schnitzel and inedible. Children know best what tastes good and what doesn't. Sad.

We ate here twice during our vacation. The food was amazing. The apple fritters are a must-try. The service was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Even our dog was taken care of. A well-deserved 5 stars.

We spontaneously got a table without a reservation and received very friendly and prompt service, even though the restaurant was almost full. For starters, we had pumpkin soup and a mixed salad – both delicious. The main courses (Cordon Bleu and Zurich-style schnitzel) were perfectly seasoned and freshly prepared. The chef even came to our table because he was so pleased with our praise. We were very satisfied and will be back again in the next few days.

We ate here five times within a week. In addition to the excellent food, we also have to mention the excellent service and the ambiance. If we go on another camping holiday, we will of course stay here again and enjoy the food again.

I ordered a takeaway, Jägerschnitzel with croquettes, and I got spaetzle with medallions. Of course, I didn't check until I got home and only then noticed the mistake. So, I'm rating this meal. The entire meal was too salty, both the spaetzle and the sauce. The meat was quite dry. The flavor itself was okay, but if it's too salty, it just doesn't taste good. €22 for this is unfortunately not justified. Therefore, I can only give this meal 2 stars.

Delicious food in the heart of town

We stumbled upon the Schwanenstüble by chance and were absolutely thrilled. We had the Maultaschen (ravioli) with salad and the Cordon Bleu. Both were well-seasoned and very tasty. When the food is this good, I'm happy to pay the price. I highly recommend it.

The food is to die for and the attention to detail is evident not only in the food but also in the service. The team was attentive without being intrusive and met all of our requests. A big compliment to the kitchen - they work here with passion! I can't wait to come back!"

But hello!!!!! After the first five bites of meat on my Swabian plate and a small piece of my wife's steak, I couldn't hold myself any longer and had to go into the kitchen to thank the chef for the absolutely incredibly good food!!!!!! Simply awesome!!!!!

Heard a lot about the legendary onion roast, tested it and found it to be excellent. The meat is of good quality, deliciously seasoned, the sauce rounds off the enjoyment, and the fried onions perfectly refine the dish. The homemade spaetzle is buttery tender. The wild garlic cream soup also tasted excellent. Gladly again!

There were three of us and our large dog there on Sunday without a reservation. The restaurant was full, but a very friendly server still managed to get us a small table. The food was wonderful, the service was really great, and I definitely recommend it. The dog even got a bowl of fresh water. We'd happily go back 👍🏻.

Family celebration in the Schwanenstüble: wonderfully sunny late summer day. The large glass/window front allowed the heat to build up in the guest room. Food: The taste was very good - but my pork loins could have been fried a little longer. Excellent salad with a great dressing, very good, harmonious dessert. Fast, attentive and friendly service. Nice atmosphere, clean toilets. Parking spaces nearby are rare as it is centrally located on the market square. Beautiful, large outdoor space. We will be back - highly recommended.

Yesterday I ate at Schwanenstüble for the first time. The service is normal average. My meatloaf was outstanding. The meat was juicy, the sauce was well seasoned and the spaetzle was great. The price-performance ratio is completely fine for me. I will gladly come again.

The onion roast is so delicious and good, I don't think it can be topped!!!! ........ A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but very nicely decorated inside! reservation would be appropriate as it is always full.

We are in Markdorf at the Wirthshof and spontaneously asked for a table on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. - it wasn't a problem. Nice welcome, the boss and the service were quick, the food was delicious. Great diverse selection. Very child-friendly - extra glasses and cutlery! We would come back at any time!

We went to Schwanenstüble for dinner today, I would give it 4.5 stars. The service was good, although the restaurant was full. The menu is extensive, there is something for everyone, including current asparagus dishes. The drinks came quickly and the order was taken quickly. We had the onion roast and the Swabian plate, both tasted very good, but unfortunately neither was really hot anymore. The spaetzle is very good, the onion roast was unfortunately well done, I ordered it medium rare, it's a shame... All in all, we would come back, the food is really good, and the prices are absolutely OK.

We are passing through and spontaneously went to the Schwanenstüble today. Even without a reservation we got a table. We were served very friendly. We don't have high standards either. The main thing is friendly. Dinner consisted of Swabian Maultaschen with leaf and potato salad and Gordon Bleu with fries. Both were very tasty and plentiful. The only thing that bothered us was the noise level. It wasn't like that from the start.....only later when the restaurant was full. We then paid quickly and then left again. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and come back even if we didn't live so far away.

We have been going to the Schwanenstüble regularly for years. And there is a reason for that. A reliable, consistently high quality of food with very friendly and pleasant service. It doesn't matter whether the Schwanenstüble has just a few guests or is fully occupied in the interior and on the terrace. Prices have gone up a bit, but that's the case everywhere. If the quality is like this, then it's worth it to us. Thanks and keep it up.

Honest, good home cooking. The potato salad was particularly great.

The Schwanenstüble is right on the market square and there is plenty of parking space. There were four of us and of course we had reserved. The food was excellent and the portions were large enough. We had kale, meatloaf and 2x Reichenauer salad with fried mushrooms. The prices for these delicious meals were totally reasonable. The service was very friendly and everything went well. We will definitely come back here. Thank you.

Very nice here! The food is of a great standard, very tasty. For example, the venison steak with red cabbage, mushrooms and spaetzle, a culinary delight 😋. The salad dressing is also to die for. The staff is absolutely accommodating and very nice. Even though it was pretty full, the food was on the table quickly. We'd love to come back!

Ein sehr schönes, Bodenständig, herzliches und Urgemütliches Restaurant. In diesem Restaurant das Servicepersonal, so zu benennen wäre eine Untertreibung. Sie sind wahre Gastgeber mit Herz und Seele dabei. Fantastisch ist die Küche, ich war sehr überzeugt von deren Handwerklichen Geschick, meinen Gaumenfreuden waren entzückt von den Spätzle und deren Wild auf dem Punkt. Danke Gern wieder.

Lage: Im Herzen von Markdorf gelegen, direkt am Marktplatz (?). Es gibt einige Parkplaetze direkt vor und hinter dem Restaurant. Location: Es gibt eine schöne kleine Terrasse direkt vor dem Restaurant auf der man im Sommer sicherlich schön sitzen kann. Das Design im Inneren hat meinem persönlichen Geschmack nicht entsprochen, was aber nicht heissen soll, dass es anderen nicht gut gefallen kann. Mir wars nur etwas zu viel helles Holz. Aber eigentlich der Kathegorie "unwichtig" zuzuordnen. Alles war gepflegt und sauber. Auch die Toiletten. Service: Super freundlich. Ich mag es sehr, wenn man mit dee Servicekraft etwas "shakern" kann. Gutes Auge fuer leere Gläser und "fertiges" Geschirr. Essen: Was soll ich sagen? HAMMER. Es gibt gut buergerliche Kueche in allen Variationen in schickem Design. Nicht zu uebertrieben aber fern von Standard. Wir hatten von Cordon Bleu über Kaesespaetzle, Hackbraten und Schnitzel bis zu Maultaschen alles am Tisch. Ausnahmslos alles war sehr, sehr. sehr lecker. Lange nicht mehr SO solide gut gegessen. Auch die Desserts waren grandios. Die Portionsgroessen waren perfekt. Preise: Absolut angemessen für die gebotene Qualität. Fazit: Leider bin ich nicht von hier, sonst waere ich in diesem Restaurant sicherlich Stammgast. Eins ist aber sicher: wenn ich wieder hier bin, dann werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Also an Alle: hin da und genießen!!!

Kenne Familie Öxle schon seit Jahrzehnten, bin immer mit allen Zufrieden gewesen und kann das Schwanenstüble nur allen empfehlen ( aber lasst mir ein Plätzchen frei 😉).

Beste Zürcher Geschnetzeltes außerhalb der Schweiz! Für manche ist das Ambiente etwas altmodisch. Wenn ich aber 16 GM Punkte Hausmannskost essen will, bin ich da richtig und draußen im Sommer sowieso.

Sind spontan da hin gegangen. Haben keinen Tisch mehr bekommen es war alles belegt. War für uns kein Grund zu gehen wir haben uns draußen hin gesetzt obwohl das Wetter nicht schön war man hat alles getan um es uns so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Wir bekamen eine Decke, Sitzkissen und man machte uns den Heitzstraller an 😀 mehr Service geht nicht. Alle waren sehr bemüht und super freundlich. Essen war einfach mega. Macht weiter so.

Danke an die sehr freundliche Bedienung, dass unser Junggesellinnenabschied hier gratis auf die Toilette gehen durfte!
