I didn't think there was something so cool in Bielefeld. Great service. Food diverse. And blown away by the ambience. Simply great

Extraordinary, it couldn't be better. Unique experience with the finest music on a hi-end system that you can enjoy on soft sofas. And the boss looks like Moby (or Chris von Deylen from the band Schiller).

A dream for every audiophile! Well thought out and comfortably furnished. You immediately feel at home here and can enjoy delicious drinks with great music. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment for me. There were Dürüm chips with a hummus-mint dip. You could only imagine the Dürüm note in the very salty chips; the dip tasted very bland. Afterwards there was the mezze platter. This was apparently largely made up of the other starters. This resulted in an incongruous combination (Peking soup, falafel, tomato pesto, South American potato salad, etc.). Unfortunately, apart from the one delicious falafel and the meatball, everything tasted very bland or much too salty. In addition, and unfortunately this was the breaking point, all the dishes were (very) spicy! Unfortunately there was neither a note on the menu nor a note from the waiter. So unfortunately the plate went back. I was not offered an alternative. All in all, a great evening if you look at it as a bar visit. From a culinary point of view, the restaurant's potential can certainly be raised to a much higher level. Until then, I'd love to come here for a few drinks and look forward to seeing the concept establish itself successfully in the long term!

I was surprised with a visit to OWLs and can only say good things. Great atmosphere, extremely attentive staff, top drinks (both non-alcoholic and with alcohol) and extremely well-seasoned dishes. I can happily recommend it.

A great place to have a relaxing evening with great food. The sound and ambience in the listening bar were really special. The service and the delicious food also left nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back!

We spontaneously got a seat in the back area and were greeted in a very friendly manner and escorted to the seat. The quiet ambience, accompanied by melodious music, made you feel like you were in your own living room. The offerings on the menu left nothing to be desired, especially for vegans. Both the bowl and the poutine surprised us very positively. The service was also really pleasant and friendly. A 10/10 visit!

The table we had was a little awkwardly facing the entrance door and was therefore a bit drafty. Otherwise nice atmosphere and attentive service. Food was ok. Lots of meatless dishes. Parking situation is catastrophic in the evening, but public transport is right outside the door.

We were in the listening room. One of the most beautiful places for conversations and a delicious meal. There is better acoustics and good music nowhere. Thank you for this great meeting place. Please don't change anything!!!!

Unique bar in Bielefeld, highly recommended!

Very nice restaurant! “Unfortunately” we had to eat in the listening room because there was no space left in the restaurant. The coffee table was very narrow but not intended for eating.. The food itself was really delicious! The menu is very complicated at first glance, but after a few minutes we had decided. The selection is huge and really very good. The food itself was very good and I can only recommend it. Unfortunately we are only in the area for a short time on business, but we would be happy to come again when we are here again. Service was great!

Cozy and stylish, with super friendly service and very tasty food. I found the portion a bit too small (pita) and the two friends I was there with felt the same way about other dishes. But that shouldn't be a reason to complain, just a tip to order an appetizer if you're very hungry. I would absolutely recommend OWLs and look forward to my next visit! :)

Sensationelles Konzept mit Großstadtflair ! Wer den Klang einer hochwertigsten Musikanlage noch nie gehört hat, der sollte unbedingt in den Listening-Room vom OWL‘s ! Ein Abend, der alle Sinne berührt hat. Insbesondere die Ohren und die Geschmackssinne, weil das Essen ebenfalls top war. Der Service war sehr extrem aufmerksam.

We've been there a few times now and will definitely come back. The staff and owners are always super friendly and attentive. The design of the rooms simply invites you to feel comfortable, whether it is a restaurant or a listening room. A great place, especially for people born after 2000. If you really want to enjoy the peace and quiet while eating, you also have to reserve a table in the listening room. I didn't know and made a reservation at the restaurant. Unfortunately there were two groups there bowling that evening. There was nothing left with communication. The food itself was quick and quite good. Unfortunately, I'm not that into coriander and it was just everywhere. Anyone who feels the same should mention it when ordering, because coriander is not on the menu. Nevertheless, the restaurant is worth a visit.

Our favorite bar in Bielefeld. Great ambience, not just for hi-fi fans and lovers of good music. Very attentive and friendly service, excellent selection of drinks and spirits, not the usual monotony. Delicious food - also vegetarian - at reasonable prices. All around great location with inspiring sound and playlists for music lovers. Small beer garden, bowling alley, hi-fi advice and sales (by appointment) and a beautiful guest room as a listening room with a living room feel - stylish and cozy. It's best to reserve online!

Really nice, cozy shop in the west of Bielefeld. Very special and cool with the orientation (eating, listening to music, playing, bowling). Food very tasty and people nice.

There is really only one shop like this in Bielefeld! At first glance, OWLs looks like an inconspicuous little restaurant in the west of Bielefeld. Only the loudspeaker systems on display suggest that this restaurant has more to offer. In addition to great food and drinks (great cocktail menu and skilled bartenders included!), the OWLs is particularly characterized by its ambience. The listening room at the back is somewhat reminiscent of a classic English club and is equipped with a few tables, comfortable furniture and a fantastic music system. It's always great to enjoy the atmosphere there! There is also another room dedicated to music and - attention: highlight - a bowling alley! That and the incredibly friendly, diverse and professional staff at OWLs ensure that a visit is like listening to the chorus of your favorite song and you just want to experience it over and over again.

A high-quality craft beer concept would fit into this cozy atmosphere.

March 30, 2024 Good Friday Today was a pleasant Friday. The best service employee Denis served me today. As always, attentive, funny and accommodating. As always, the vegan food was a 10 out of 10. I'm already looking forward to the next visit. The Owls is an enrichment for the west of Bielefeld! LG T.K.

There were four of us there, even though we had actually reserved for three people. Nevertheless, a place in the listening room could be found without any problems. There is a very relaxed atmosphere here, dimmed lights and calm music, along with the comfortable armchairs and sofas, create a pleasant atmosphere in which you can perfectly enjoy the delicious food. There is also nothing to complain about on our part when it comes to service

The location looks really cool. We must say that the atmosphear was amazing and the waiters very nice. Unfortunately we didn´t like the food. All of the dishes we tried (starters and main dishes) had a fast food flavour and they weren´t tasty at all. Just for drinks should be great but I don´t recommend it to enjoy a dinner.

One of the nicest bars in the city.

Just dined at OWLs; I had the bowl with tempeh and the “Relax” organic red wine from Weingut Bernhard. The bowl was delicious, every bite a new taste highlight — highly recommended! The French fries, stolen from my companion's plate, were also of outstanding quality. I haven't eaten so well in Bielefeld for a long time!

For me, this is currently the tip for everyone who wants to enjoy very good drinks and good sound. Great concept to sit and enjoy in the comfortable armchair of the Listening Bar. If desired, with a very nice chat about high-end hi-fi components. Fine, down-to-earth and original food makes it perfect.

Absolute favorite store! The ambience, staff, sound and food are terrific. Large selection of vegan dishes. You can tell how much love is put into this listening bar! Please continue :)

Fair prices and a nice atmosphere. There was almost no room, but there was still a comfortable couch available for us! Viel Bar & Restaurant, leider wenig Listening Essen und Getränke gut! Super freundlicher Service und Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre, die zu langen Abenden einlädt. Die Anlage hat vermutlich viel Potential, welches uns aber leider vorenthalten wurde. Wir waren an einem Mittwoch dort, welcher getreu dem Motto der Jazz Kissas dem aktiven hören gewidmet sein sollte. Das einzige, was man jedoch aktiv gehört hat, waren die Gespräche der anderen Personen. Die Anlage war sehr, sehr, sehr leise und wurde auch auf mehrfache Nachfrage nur so minimal lauter gestellt, dass man es quasi nicht bemerkt hat. Wirklich schade, denn — wenn man mal kurz aktiv ganz genau gelauscht hat — konnte man wirklich Potential im Klang erkennen. Ich weiß nicht, woran es liegt, aber das kenne ich aus anderen Listening Bars anders und es war leider etwas frustrierend. Man hatte das Gefühl, die ganze Zeit im Porsche, jedoch mit fest angezogener Handbremse, zu fahren. Es hätte eine 10/10 experience werden können. Daher komme ich nochmal wieder und versuche es erneut. Denn vor allem das wirklich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal hat einen tollen Eindruck hinterlassen :)

Das Essen ist wirklich großartig, Service und Atmosphäre ebenfalls ausgesprochen gut. Die Hintergrundmusik ist aufgrund der perfekten Beschallung/Technik nichtmal dann unangenehm, wenn man direkt neben der Box sitzt. Auch die Auswahl der Musik ist stimmungsvoll und passend. Die Preise für das Essen sind, bei spitzen Qualität, absolut günstig. Danke für diese Perle in meiner Nachbarschaft. Unser erster Besuch wird sicher nicht der letzte gewesen sein.

Leider mussten wir irgendwann gehen… wir hätten noch ewig bleiben können. Wir haben gut gegessen, hervorragende Drinks getrunken, einen tollen und herzlichen Service erlebt und uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine außerordentliche Lokation, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail wurde hier ein super Konzept umgesetzt und eine wirklich gemütliche Wohnzimmeratmosphäre geschaffen. Leider wohne ich nicht mehr in der Nähe, sonst würde ich wohl ziemlich oft einkehren. Eine absolute Empfehlung

Super Essen, hervorragende Drinks und ein toller und herzlicher Service! Wir hätten noch ewig sitzen bleiben können, aber irgendwann muss ja leider geschlossen werden. Super gemütliches Ambiente, sowohl im vorderen Teil mit Tischen und Stühlen, als auch im hinteren Wohnzimmer mit den verschiedenen Sesseln und Sofas. Hab ich so noch nie erlebt, einfach super. Vielen Dank an das Team und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder (leider wohnen wir nicht mehr nebenan. Absolute Empfehlung. Hier muss man einfach mal hin!

Erstmal vorweg: ich habe mir nur die Falafelbox zum mitnehmen geholt, und bin beeindruckt von der schönen Atmosphäre. Scheint endlich mal ein Laden zu sein, in dem gute Musik läuft! Leider war ich von dem Essen to Go etwas enttäuscht. Geschmacklich wirklich super! Aber für 10,50€ habe ich etwas mehr erwartet, als nur Pommes und 4 Falafel mit super wenig Soße. Als die Soßen leer waren, war der Rest des Essens leider dementsprechend trocken. Ein bisschen Salat oder ähnliches wäre auch schön gewesen. Ich kann verstehen dass man fürs Essen vor Ort etwas mehr zahlt, da man ja auch was von dem Service und dem Ambiente hat, aber ich finde bei der 2go Variante müsste der Preis für diese Portion dann angepasst werden. Trotzdem werde ich dem ganzen ne zweite Chance geben und mich mal auf ein Getränk reinsetzen um der Musik zu lauschen. Die teuersten Falafel, die ich jemals gegessen habe, werde ich aber vermutlich nicht nochmal bestellen..

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Ambiente, nettes und aufmerksames Personal und leckere Drinks. Die Musik ist unaufdringlich und in angenehmer Lautstärke bei hoher Qualität.

Super Ambiente, freundliche Mitarbeiter und die Getränke sind sehr lecker. Manche Cocktails sind etwas teurer, aber dafür lohnt es sich.

Toller unaufdringlicher Laden mit interessantem Konzept und Wohnzimmerfeeling im listening room. Die Cocktails und Long Drinks waren ausgezeichnet und auch das Essen wirklich lecker.

Recht spontan und ohne großer Recherche reingestolpert. Zunächst verwunderten die ganzen Akustik Paneele an der Decke und die Disko Kugel. Die Musik war genau richtig und die Drinks waren mit extra Liebe. Erst mit dem klassischen Klogang entdeckte ich die Listening areas mit alten Sofas, GameCube und die Brettspielen. Was für ein Schatz mitten in einer Stadt wie Bielefeld! Ein Ort zum entdecken und dem genießen guter Musik gemeinsam mit anderen. Alles ist mit soviel Liebe und Perfektion ausgestattet worden. Auch das Essen fanden wir super, es gab die Falafel Wraps und sehr netten Service. Die Veranstaltungstechniker hatten halt Bock auf eine Bar, in der man gute Musik hören kann. Mega coole Musikliebhaber und ein mega cooler Ort der als Perle Bielefelds aufsteigen wird. 💕

Das Owls hat mir super gut gefallen. Von super gut gemixten Highballs über eine kleine aber feine Spiritousenauswahl hin zu einer mit unfassbar leckeren Speisenauswahl, die sich immer wieder mal ändert und somit auch für Stammgäste immer wieder etwas Neues zu entdecken bereithält, ist das Owls einfach nur toll! Dazu gibt es eine sehr hochwertige Hintergrundbeschallung denn das Owls ist nicht nur Kneipe/Bar und Restaurant sondern auch ein HiFi-Geschäft, alles was dort an Lautsprechern usw zu sehen und zu hören ist kann man auch kaufen, finde ich je tolle Idee! Auch hat das Owls eine der wenigen Kegelbahnen in der Bielefelder Innenstadt. Ich komme sehr gern wieder!

Das neue diensttägliche Öffnungskonzept lässt nun tiefe Einblicke zu! Das ist sehr gut!

Die Wohnzimmeratmosphäre mit passender Musik und Einrichtung läd absolut ein zum Wohlfühlen. Es macht Spaß, diese location mit allen Räumlichkeiten und zudem tollen drinks und snacks gekrönt von sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern zu entdecken. Gerne wieder! Danke an OWLs--Team

Eine gemütlich eingerichtete Bar mit sehr guten Drinks. Insbesondere der Gin ist immer wieder sehr lecker. Man muss ihn schnell trinken, da er durch das viele Eis sonst verwässert, aber die Gin-Sorten sind toll! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Die Kegelbahn ist alt, aber voll funktionstüchtig und bringt Spaß. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die sehr kleinen Snack-Portionen. Wenn man fast 12 Euro pro Gin bezahlt und für über 3 Euro eine Nussmischung oder Erdnüsse dazu bestellt, dann erwartet man mehr als 10 Nüsse in einem Mini-Schälchen. Auch das kostenlose Mini-Popcorn macht das nicht besser. Erdnüsse und Popcorn sind im Einkauf lächerlich billig. Deshalb könnte hier die Portion gerne mal überdacht werden.
