A very unusual, pleasant place with delicious food and friendly service 😊!

I prefer browsing through physical menus to looking at digital ones, because I already have my phone in my hand too much. :)

I love the listening room. There's always great music playing and the acoustics are sensational. You can have a great conversation and feel like you're in a living room where super friendly people serve drinks and food.

A great experience that I would gladly repeat.

The bowling alley is small, so you have your own space while bowling. The food was excellent. Getting such high-quality food combined with a bowling alley is definitely something special. There's a self-service refrigerator in the bowling alley area, which works perfectly.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

I love Owls. It's a really great place. The chef is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, and the food is always delicious. They offer high-quality drinks and a nice bowling alley. It can get a bit noisy at times, but it's not that big and gets crowded when it's busy. The back room is a bit quieter. There's a nice play area and good sound system. It's simply one of the better places in the west. The selection of homemade lemonades and non-alcoholic drinks could be improved, or at least as refined and curated as the alcoholic selection.

The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bowl was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. Friends of ours were at OWLs for the first time and loved it. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Exceptional acoustics, excellent food

A great location, and the menu is quite different from the usual fare. The food was okay, but it could have been warmer. The service is very good, and the drinks selection is decent. If you like jazz playing in the background, this is the place for you; it wasn't really our taste in music 😉. All in all, it was good, and we had a nice evening.

I quickly drove by on Sunday, went in, and had a really good meal. Not your average, run-of-the-mill menu, but something truly special. Delicious!

Always a great living room experience. The music could be more varied.

I can't actually give a star because I can't rate the restaurant. But in order to upload this review, I unfortunately have to. No offense, but I'm just writing what happened. My girlfriend wanted a chicken dish. Unfortunately, chicken wasn't available that Sunday evening. They offered us the meatball dish instead, which was apparently very spicy. My girlfriend, who doesn't like spicy food or certain spices, wanted to try the meatballs first. This seemed to be a problem. Afterward, we unfortunately had to leave the restaurant.

The service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. We had a lovely evening.

Highly recommended restaurant/bar/lounge. In addition to the truly delicious dishes on the menu, there are weekly specials and a great selection of drinks.

The best bar in Bielefeld! My wife and I came last night to check out the Listening Room, as the concept sounded very interesting to us. What we discovered was more interesting than we could have imagined. A really cool concept, delicious food, and really good drinks. I'll be coming here more often in the future :)

Yesterday, I went to OWLs Bar in Bielefeld with a friend – and we had a truly wonderful evening. The bar is decorated with such attention to detail that you immediately feel at home. You can tell that a lot of heart has gone into it. We were particularly impressed by the Listening Room – incredibly cozy, great acoustics for long conversations, the perfect atmosphere to sit and enjoy the evening. What really stood out, though, was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. No rush, no stress – just relaxed and incredibly welcoming. Bottom line: If you're looking for a special place to unwind in Bielefeld, this is the place. Absolutely recommended!

The staff are extremely accommodating and the food was excellent.

It's always nice to be here. The chairs could use some cushioning, as they get uncomfortable after a longer stay. I think the beer prices are too high. I often go to the south of Germany, where the prices are 15-25% cheaper. It's nice to have an extra drink. Nice weekend.

We're thrilled with the vegan options. The vegan Bochum poutine, in particular, was so delicious! We'll be back 😊

Casual atmosphere, great menu, really nice staff! We had a fun evening in the bowling alley here with a group of 10. Because the bar/restaurant extends over several rooms, it almost has a shared shared party feel. I'm a fan!

The special type of music creates a pleasant atmosphere to feel good. You can have a relaxed conversation. In addition to meat, the Mediterranean/Oriental menu also offers a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The employees are without exception super friendly. I give it 5 stars without reservation!

Celebrated your birthday at the bowling alley! The train was made available to us especially outside of regular opening hours. The ambience is great! Really comfortable! Everything you need is there and the staff is super nice!

Very relaxed atmosphere, cool location. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the menu didn't say anything was spicy... For someone who doesn't like it or can't tolerate it, it's fatal.

We were at OWLs for the first time yesterday and we were immediately impressed across the board. The ambience invites you to feel right at home. The service is friendly, courteous and just as inviting as the interior design and decoration. A selection of many different dishes is enhanced by a few special features (tip: the fantastic Nepalese potato salad). For the main course there was Asian pork belly in a sweet and spicy sauce, both of a quality and with a wonderful taste that I have never eaten in a restaurant before. The evening was rounded off with an SNES, which was not only freely accessible but also provided a good dose of nostalgia. Thank you for the fantastic evening, we will be back. :)

Been here twice within a week (the first time by chance). Great team, very tasty food in great variations. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere and the volume were very pleasant in the listening room, so that the two of us were able to have a good conversation. However, I cannot recommend my bowl. There were 2 large pieces of broccoli in there, raw so to speak, and the sauce went like this.

Very nice atmosphere, nice music and incredibly delicious food. The service was also really friendly and courteous, especially the waiter named Agash. I would come back any time!

It was nice and quiet in the listening room with relaxing music in the background. There's a nice surprise waiting for you near the toilets, go explore! The employees were also super friendly :-)

After we had been able to enjoy the great ambience in the listening bar, we decided to go to the restaurant for the first time. It's more comfortable to sit here to eat. The selection, especially of vegetarian/vegan dishes, is large and exceptional. The range of drinks is also interesting. There are different draft beers and always something new to try. Fast, friendly service!

We were in the listening room. One of the most beautiful places for conversations and a delicious meal. There is better acoustics and good music nowhere. Thank you for this great meeting place. Please don't change anything!!!!

Extraordinary, it couldn't be better. Unique experience with the finest music on a hi-end system that you can enjoy on soft sofas. And the boss looks like Moby (or Chris von Deylen from the band Schiller).

I was surprised with a visit to OWLs and can only say good things. Great atmosphere, extremely attentive staff, top drinks (both non-alcoholic and with alcohol) and extremely well-seasoned dishes. I can happily recommend it.

A dream for every audiophile! Well thought out and comfortably furnished. You immediately feel at home here and can enjoy delicious drinks with great music. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment for me. There were Dürüm chips with a hummus-mint dip. You could only imagine the Dürüm note in the very salty chips; the dip tasted very bland. Afterwards there was the mezze platter. This was apparently largely made up of the other starters. This resulted in an incongruous combination (Peking soup, falafel, tomato pesto, South American potato salad, etc.). Unfortunately, apart from the one delicious falafel and the meatball, everything tasted very bland or much too salty. In addition, and unfortunately this was the breaking point, all the dishes were (very) spicy! Unfortunately there was neither a note on the menu nor a note from the waiter. So unfortunately the plate went back. I was not offered an alternative. All in all, a great evening if you look at it as a bar visit. From a culinary point of view, the restaurant's potential can certainly be raised to a much higher level. Until then, I'd love to come here for a few drinks and look forward to seeing the concept establish itself successfully in the long term!

We spontaneously got a seat in the back area and were greeted in a very friendly manner and escorted to the seat. The quiet ambience, accompanied by melodious music, made you feel like you were in your own living room. The offerings on the menu left nothing to be desired, especially for vegans. Both the bowl and the poutine surprised us very positively. The service was also really pleasant and friendly. A 10/10 visit!

Angenehmes Bar. Vielfaltig mit unterschiedlichem Räume und sehr gutes Musikwahl. Einfach hinsetzen, Musikhören, Unterhalten. Wir haben ein Wrap mit Falafel gegessen. Es war total lecker! Sehr gutes Bar!

The table we had was a little awkwardly facing the entrance door and was therefore a bit drafty. Otherwise nice atmosphere and attentive service. Food was ok. Lots of meatless dishes. Parking situation is catastrophic in the evening, but public transport is right outside the door.

Very nice restaurant! “Unfortunately” we had to eat in the listening room because there was no space left in the restaurant. The coffee table was very narrow but not intended for eating.. The food itself was really delicious! The menu is very complicated at first glance, but after a few minutes we had decided. The selection is huge and really very good. The food itself was very good and I can only recommend it. Unfortunately we are only in the area for a short time on business, but we would be happy to come again when we are here again. Service was great!

Cozy and stylish, with super friendly service and very tasty food. I found the portion a bit too small (pita) and the two friends I was there with felt the same way about other dishes. But that shouldn't be a reason to complain, just a tip to order an appetizer if you're very hungry. I would absolutely recommend OWLs and look forward to my next visit! :)

Sensationelles Konzept mit Großstadtflair ! Wer den Klang einer hochwertigsten Musikanlage noch nie gehört hat, der sollte unbedingt in den Listening-Room vom OWL‘s ! Ein Abend, der alle Sinne berührt hat. Insbesondere die Ohren und die Geschmackssinne, weil das Essen ebenfalls top war. Der Service war sehr extrem aufmerksam.

We've been there a few times now and will definitely come back. The staff and owners are always super friendly and attentive. The design of the rooms simply invites you to feel comfortable, whether it is a restaurant or a listening room. Just a nice, relaxed bar where you can enjoy not only great sound but also really good food. And the vegan selection on the menu is extensive and really tasty!

A great place, especially for people born after 2000. If you really want to enjoy the peace and quiet while eating, you also have to reserve a table in the listening room. I didn't know and made a reservation at the restaurant. Unfortunately there were two groups there bowling that evening. There was nothing left with communication. The food itself was quick and quite good. Unfortunately, I'm not that into coriander and it was just everywhere. Anyone who feels the same should mention it when ordering, because coriander is not on the menu. Nevertheless, the restaurant is worth a visit.
