We were passing through from Brussels to Berlin, with a stopover in Bielefeld. After a brief search, we came across this small but fine restaurant and decided to eat there. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the owner! Since we're from Berlin, we quickly struck up a conversation with the owner, which was very relaxed and pleasant. Now for the food: super delicious, very generous portions, and very reasonable prices! If we ever come to Bielefeld again, perhaps for a Hertha Berlin away game, I definitely know where I'll be eating. Thank you so much for the lovely evening! The food was OK. But we noticed that the owner is planning to take the gyro off the menu. I don't know if that's a good idea for a Greek restaurant. The waitress was really nice. The owner spoke to everyone personally but not to our table. I found that a bit strange. And then he called out very loudly across the beer garden in Greek or something because someone he knew was coming to eat. The volume was really unpleasant. Otherwise I find the atmosphere very nice and cozy. With the greeting from the kitchen I would have preferred tzatziki to beetroot. I don't know if I'll eat there again.

There were eight of us there, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered from the entire menu, so I have to say, the price/performance ratio was EXCELLENT! If you feel truly comfortable, that's how customer service should be. No problems with parking, although there are plenty around the shop. You definitely have to try the baked gyro, it's a dream. We'll definitely be back.

We were there as a couple, the food was ok, but nothing special and unfortunately well above the acceptable price. The employees were very nice. The worst thing was the atmosphere, we sat at a table that was much too small and was bought at a hardware store and was actually intended for the garden. He wobbled and stood in a small corner. The toilets urgently need to be renovated. Next time we'll go to another Greek restaurant.

Nice restaurant, the current owners have changed and invested a lot. Service good, food great.

A place that modestly calls itself "Ariston", -the best-, should do more for service and food than it currently does. The amount of food was quite manageable. The taste too. The boss was throwing around rounds of ouzo. Strange behavior. The appetizer we ordered didn't come. We were there with five people. There was a loud argument while paying. Especially from the boss. He should work on his impulse control. Diplomacy is not one of his strengths. It was about the annoying topic of card payments. Which wasn't possible. The settlement in cash was awkward. There is still a lot of room for improvement. . . to the "Ariston".

Das nicht mit Karte bezahlt werden kann wurde bei der telefonischen Reservierung nicht mitgeteilt. Es wurde eine bestellte Vorspeise nicht serviert, Getränke wurden nach Bestellung falsch serviert ( statt 2 mal Apfelschorle 2 Gin Tonic ) und abgerechnet. Service musste für Getränke mehrfach angesprochen werden. Insgesamt ein sehr unerfreulicher Abend. Nie wieder Ariston.🤬

All in all a successful evening. We found out that the boss is planning a kind of Christmas market in the garden for December. Lighting, fireplace, mulled wine, soft music... etc. We are very excited to see how it turns out and will definitely be there. A visit to the restaurant is always worth it anyway.

It's been a long time since I've experienced such unfriendly staff and owners as here!! We were greeted warmly and the drinks were ordered promptly. When it came to choosing the food, the drama began. My companion can't and doesn't want to eat a lot of meat, so we asked that a little less meat and more side dishes be served. This should also ensure that the good meat does not have to be thrown away on our part. Our request to the waiter was immediately rejected. After further questions about this, we were told we should either take what it said on the menu or not. After another heated discussion with the owner in the beer garden in front of all the guests, we left again because we didn't feel welcome here. That was the last time we entered this restaurant. It's a shame because we come from the neighborhood and like to support nearby restaurants instead of driving downtown. Unfortunately the staff managed to prevent us from coming back!

Yesterday we wanted to order a normal gyro plate because our companion couldn't eat the gratinated one. What followed were insults from the boss himself, in front of all the guests! Never again !!! Omitting ingredients is not possible!

I was there with a group of 12 people. Food was ok. We had a lovely evening. When I was the last person in this group to pay 41.90 euros, I first gave the boss 40 euros and then another 2 euros. Then the boss said that there were still 40 euros missing. The 40 euros that the boss still had in his hand were from a man who suddenly stood next to me. Apparently he wanted to have changed 50 euros. An argument broke out. My companion could testify that the 40 euros were from me. The boss apologized loudly. Then I said that the boss could buy my group a round of ouzo for his misconduct. He didn't do it with a loud reason: Germany is expensive! I then said that it was the first and last time I was in this restaurant. I've never experienced anything like that! It seemed very suspicious to me.

We went to this wonderful restaurant for the first time today with a friend and her boyfriend because it was recommended to her and she also raved about it. We were completely surprised, small but nice, great atmosphere, the host, the boss, greeted you personally, and of course his employees too, a very friendly, courteous, attentive staff... I haven't seen an employee setting the table with gloves in ages or forgotten cutlery is a big plus. The menu offers a wide selection of starters, main courses and desserts as well as drinks... We order different dishes and were very surprised at how delicious they were The food was a fantastic combination for the tongue and the palate. Hard-working staff, very nice and the innkeeper always warmly welcomed the guests. As you can see in the pictures, the ambience is rather non-Greek and too hardware-style for me personally, but that's a matter of taste. When it comes to food, you can say that we tried two standards: gyros gratinated and gyro plate. Somehow the gratin was missing from the pan. The gyros on the plate weren't crispy but had a long lasting taste in the mouth. The greeting from the kitchen was very promising and really tasty. I didn't know the white wine spritzer either. It was served with ice and a slice of lemon. All in all, nice for people in the neighborhood but I wouldn't come back for that.

I was there for the first time yesterday with my wife and we were REALLY overwhelmed. We felt totally welcome, the employees and the boss are simply personable, extremely friendly and welcoming. The meal was a pleasure, bite for bite. We got an appetizer on the house and even a dessert on the house. Everything is homemade and you can taste it. It was just so delicious and we will probably make this our regular restaurant. If you want to enjoy DELICIOUS GREEK cuisine, this is the right place. Thank you for the evening.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort ,hatten uns das Essen richtig toll vorgestellt mit lecker Salat wie mann es von anderen Griechen kennt.wir waren negativ von den Preisen überrascht wir hatten zwei zaziki bestellt der Preis für sechs Euro fünfzig war der erste Witz schmeckte nur salzig und für das Geld nicht viel,zu den Hauptgerichten gab es noch nicht mal Salat also bestellte ich mir Gurken mit Schafskäse . Ich dachte mir wie teuer das wohl jetzt extra kosten würde. Haupt Speise ging so. Werden da aber nicht mehr hingehen. Insel Samos war viel besser.
