Wir wurden sehr nett bedient an einem Sommerabend im Garten des Restaurants, haben uns bei leckerem Essen und freundlichen Leuten wohl gefühlt

Ich weiß nicht, was da passiert ist. Kein Ouzo zur Begrüßung, mind. 20 Min. gewartet bis wir die Karte bekamen. Dann wieder halbe Stunde ehe die Getränke kamen. Dann endlich Essenbestellung. Dann kommt das Essen auf einem übersichtlichen Teller, kein Reis mehr verfügbar😒, kein Zaziki. Dann nur noch Barzahlung und wieder kein Ouzo. So schlecht, im Moment nicht zu empfehlen. Schade, wir waren sonst gern da.

Ich würde sogar einen 6. Stern vergeben wenn es den gäbe.. man merkt, hier wird mit liebe gekocht und das schmeckt man auch und super nette Inhaber. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder:)

Was für ein schöner Ort! Der Besitzer war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Atmosphäre warm und einladend. Das Essen war so köstlich, dass ich ganz vergessen habe, ein Foto davon zu machen, weil ich es so sehr genießen wollte. Der Käsekuchen war süß mit säuerlichen Beeren, der Lachs perfekt gegart und herrlich saftig, die Ariston-Platte mit dem perfekt gewürzten Fleisch ein Genuss; ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Selten so eine katastrophale Erfahrung gemacht – dieses Restaurant ist wirklich eine absolute Zumutung. Schon von Anfang an lief alles schief: Wir haben falsches Essen bekommen, mussten fast eine Stunde (!) auf unsere Getränke warten und unsere Bestellung wurde so oft vergessen, dass wir mehrfach daran erinnern mussten. Man hatte permanent das Gefühl, dass dort absolut niemand den Überblick hat. Der absolute Tiefpunkt: Ein Hauptgericht wurde komplett vergessen und kam erst, als alle anderen längst fertig waren. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war der Appetit natürlich schon komplett weg. Und selbst dann waren einige Gerichte auch noch falsch – also nicht nur verspätet, sondern auch noch fehlerhaft. Besonders unangenehm war die Situation mit der Köchin: Sie hat sich im Gespräch mehrfach verheddert und sich dabei im Grunde selbst verraten, dass intern völliges Chaos herrscht und Bestellungen scheinbar gar nicht richtig weitergegeben werden. Das hat den ohnehin schlechten Eindruck nur noch verstärkt. Der einzige Lichtblick war ein Kellner, der zumindest freundlich und bemüht war – aber selbst er konnte das komplette Durcheinander nicht retten. Die Frau aus der Küche hat dann jegliche Kritik komplett abgeblockt, keinerlei Einsicht gezeigt und ist einfach gegangen. So ein Verhalten ist an Unprofessionalität kaum zu überbieten. Insgesamt wirkt der ganze Laden schlecht organisiert, überfordert und absolut nicht kritikfähig. Wer hier essen geht, braucht vor allem eins: sehr viel Geduld – und starke Nerven. Definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Yes, it was very nice and tasty there. Very friendly everyone. You just feel good. Top. I got it on July 10th. Took a bifteki dish and gyros there. Guys, what a dream! So delicious. That was 1A ***** 10* out of a possible 5*. 👍👍👍

Wir sind mehrmals vorbeigefahren an dem Restaurant und jetzt war die Zeit gekommen. Es lohnt sich hier vorbeizukommen! Es sieht vielleicht von außen nicht so interessant aus aber innen drin ist es modern, gemütlich und man fühlt sich hier echt wohl! Der Inhaber hat uns beim Reingehen schon sehr freundlich begrüßt und die Bedienung macht einen guten Job! Wir haben das Restaurant mit Cityfor2 unter der Woche besucht und wir kommen wieder!

Ich kann garnicht anders, als die Bestbewertung abzugeben. Absolut wunderbares Essen, von der Vorspeise bis hin zum Dessert. Extrem freundlicher, zuvorkommender und sympathischer Service plus gemeinsamer Ouzo sowie nette Unterhaltung mit dem Inhaber. Perfekt für einen Abend mit Freunden und Familie. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und sind wunderbar zufrieden und satt nach Hause gegangen. Jederzeit wieder :)

Wir waren mit 4 Personen im Restaurant und rundum zufrieden. Ambiente ist sehr schön, so dass man sich von Anfang an wohlfühlt. Die Speisekarten sind ausführlich und hochwertig. Das Essen war lecker. Es gab aufgebackenes Brot und Dips vorab. Wunderbar sind die überbackenen Bifteki. Kartenzahlung war zumindest an unserem Abend nicht möglich. Parkplatz etwas matschig. Aber eine absolute Empfehlung.

Das Ariston Restaurant in Bielefeld ist ein Highlight für alle, die griechische Küche und Lebensfreude lieben. Lecker u. v. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis total ok. Update 11/2025: Feste Einrichtung in Oldentrup. So lecker. Toller Service. Es ist einfach nur angenehm hier zu sitzen und zu speisen. Im Sommer im auch Garten. Gastfreundliche Betreuung. Ob Leber, Lamm oder Fisch. Tolle Kombinationen. Und das selten zu bekommene Warsteiner ist immer auf dem Punkt gezapft und gekühlt. Perfekt. Netter Besitzer m. super freundlichem Personal. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Würdiger Nachfolger im hervorragenden griechischem Restaurants. Update2024: Wir kommen immer noch sehr gerne wieder. Die Metaxa Sauce ist ein Träumchen. Und die Weinkarte ist sehr erlesen. Hier wird Atmosphäre gelebt.

Gestern Abend ganz spontan das Restaurant besucht und ich kann nur sagen alles richtig gemacht! Ohne Reservierung wurden wir vom Chef freundlich empfangen und bekamen einen Tisch! Das Ambiente passend zur Weihnachtszeit dekoriert! Innerhalb kürzester Zeit kamen die Getränke und auch unsere bestellten Vorspeisen zusätzlich ein Gruß aus der Küche bestehend aus 2 Dips mit leckerem Brot. Die Hauptgerichte waren ebenfalls sehr gut sowohl vom Geschmack her als auch von den Portionen! Schade das dieses Restaurant nicht in unserer Nähe liegt! Alles in allem ein gelungener Besuch!!! Four of us went out to eat. From moussaka to gyros, souvlaki, chicken breast in lemon sauce, and souvlaki rolls filled with feta cheese, they had it all. The service was friendly, attentive, and prompt, from the moment we greeted us to the moment we left. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely eat there again. Top-notch service. Very nice restaurant - friendly and excellent service and delicious food. They say you can tell how clean a restaurant is by its toilets, and these were absolutely fine! They're a bit older (you can tell by the "puke bowl" - that's not a thing anymore these days), but everything is very well-maintained and clean. We were passing through from Brussels to Berlin, with a stopover in Bielefeld. After a brief search, we came across this small but fine restaurant and decided to eat there. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the owner! Since we're from Berlin, we quickly struck up a conversation with the owner, which was very relaxed and pleasant. Now for the food: super delicious, very generous portions, and very reasonable prices! If we ever come to Bielefeld again, perhaps for a Hertha Berlin away game, I definitely know where I'll be eating. Thank you so much for the lovely evening! The food was OK. But we noticed that the owner is planning to take the gyro off the menu. I don't know if that's a good idea for a Greek restaurant. The waitress was really nice. The owner spoke to everyone personally but not to our table. I found that a bit strange. And then he called out very loudly across the beer garden in Greek or something because someone he knew was coming to eat. The volume was really unpleasant. Otherwise I find the atmosphere very nice and cozy. With the greeting from the kitchen I would have preferred tzatziki to beetroot. I don't know if I'll eat there again.

There were eight of us there, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered from the entire menu, so I have to say, the price/performance ratio was EXCELLENT! If you feel truly comfortable, that's how customer service should be. No problems with parking, although there are plenty around the shop. You definitely have to try the baked gyro, it's a dream. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice family business with authentic food. The food arrived on time despite the restaurant being very busy and was very good. The lamb chops are highly recommended; they were of excellent quality.

We were there as a couple, the food was ok, but nothing special and unfortunately well above the acceptable price. The employees were very nice. The worst thing was the atmosphere, we sat at a table that was much too small and was bought at a hardware store and was actually intended for the garden. He wobbled and stood in a small corner. The toilets urgently need to be renovated. Next time we'll go to another Greek restaurant.

Card payment was refused with the common excuse, only from so and so much. But everyone now knows that card payments are possible from just one cent. The order was canceled by the store because of this. Incredible. It is better not to enter any sales into the cash register. That's a board. In addition, an extremely large number of dubious fake reports. Quite funny.

I tried to explain to him that unfortunately it wasn't possible to pay by card that evening. They didn't want to hear that and shouted throughout the store. As a boss, I tried to explain to you what you didn't want to hear. Their friends who were at the table with them were very happy and also apologized for their behavior. A place that modestly calls itself "Ariston", -the best-, should do more for service and food than it currently does. The amount of food was quite manageable. The taste too. The boss was throwing around rounds of ouzo. Strange behavior. The appetizer we ordered didn't come. We were there with five people. There was a loud argument while paying. Especially from the boss. He should work on his impulse control. Diplomacy is not one of his strengths. It was about the annoying topic of card payments. Which wasn't possible. The settlement in cash was awkward. There is still a lot of room for improvement. . . to the "Ariston".

Das nicht mit Karte bezahlt werden kann wurde bei der telefonischen Reservierung nicht mitgeteilt. Es wurde eine bestellte Vorspeise nicht serviert, Getränke wurden nach Bestellung falsch serviert ( statt 2 mal Apfelschorle 2 Gin Tonic ) und abgerechnet. Service musste für Getränke mehrfach angesprochen werden. Insgesamt ein sehr unerfreulicher Abend. Nie wieder Ariston.🤬

We received a super friendly welcome. Food and drinks were quickly selected and ordered. We were immediately impressed by the quality and taste. It was soooo delicious. Not overloaded. A tiny flaw. Nevertheless, as on the first visit, a warm welcome. The order was taken quickly. The “greetings from the kitchen” is simply delicious. But then: thunderstorms and rain. The owner, you have to experience it to be believed, stayed really cool. The guests were quickly distributed into the interior of the restaurant with a smile. All of us with a smile and a good mood. The food, what can I say, was absolutely tasty, just like on the first visit. There was even a little serenade for one guest, the birthday child. You can just tell that the guest is in the foreground here and the owner lives this with heart and soul. Families with children are just as welcome here as older ones. As always, the welcome is warm and you immediately feel welcome. The service was, how could it be otherwise, very nice, attentive and always had an open ear. The food just perfect. All in all a successful evening. We found out that the boss is planning a kind of Christmas market in the garden for December. Lighting, fireplace, mulled wine, soft music... etc. We are very excited to see how it turns out and will definitely be there. A visit to the restaurant is always worth it anyway.

I have never met and gotten to know such positive, good-humored and nice people (Greeks, after all)!
