We came for the NYE and we had dinner at Ouzo restaurant. It was the best choice we could make. Grilled meat cooked to the perfection, fish as well. Everything we ordered was delicious including the homemade galaktoboureko dessert which was on the house (Greek hospitality!) .,Very friendly and professional staff and quick service. Pity we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the live music. We will definitely come back!

My friend's starter, everything was breaded and fried! 👎👎👎 The main course: Schnitzel with hollandaise sauce gratinated and fries ordered as an extra small side salad for €6.90 which was as big as a main salad. There wasn't much meat in it and what little schnitzel there was was drowned in the hollandaise sauce. Taste was okay. Starter: Tzatziki & small pizza rolls = super tasty 👍👍 Main course: Gyros with large fries (steakhouse fries) and tzatziki. The small dollop of tzatziki that came with the gyro wasn't enough, so I ordered another tzatziki appetizer to go with it. Both were really tasty. 👍👍 The service was terribly bad. We were able to order drinks. Then nothing happened for about 30 minutes until I went to the waiter for the order. Then something was missing and finally I had to go to the counter to pay. That also took quite some time.

Price/performance not given at all. The meat was very soggy and definitely too small a portion for the price. The owner very nice. But that was it.

A Greek restaurant as you wish. Great friendly service paired with fast Greek cuisine, plus an appropriate price/performance ratio. It's not the operator's fault that I don't like flashing Christmas lights. Conclusion, everything is good - I would like to come back.

Very tasty food. Price/performance is okay. The service was very nice, but a bit inattentive, so that the table next to us and ours were each served a dish with the wrong side dish (once fries, instead of rice and once the wrong sauce). In both cases, the right dish was served without any problems or discussions and very quickly and friendly. Absolute recommendation and if we are in the area again, we will be happy to come back.

But I felt like I was at home. But eating was a slap in the face.

We became aware of this restaurant through a voucher booklet. There is a terrace outside, which is also heated and can be used in autumn/winter. The welcome was very warm from the restaurant owner... You immediately feel welcome, as if you had been a guest here for years. Service here actually deserves ten stars... I hardly know it at all. Food was prepared quite quickly and served very friendly. Before the main course we ordered pizza rolls. Optionally without filling, otherwise with cheese filling or ham/cheese filling. Main course was also fantastic. Had rump steak and it was exactly how I wanted it. Thanks to the cook Laura. That was brilliant. At the end there was of course... ouzo. We will definitely come here again. By the way, in addition to Greek dishes, there is good home-style food, schnitzel, etc., and there is also pizza. Thanks to the entire team at Ouzo Taverne. It's somewhere between a restaurant and a snack bar. But the food was good and the host was great. We had a very nice evening there.

The staff at the shop are incredibly friendly and always in a good mood, they simply appreciate returning guests and know that the service is almost as important as the food itself. The food is fresh and tasty, the portions are typically Greek so you will definitely be full. The ambience is pleasant even if the shop is quite full in the evenings, I like the shop with all my heart. We always enjoy coming and love the typical Greek hospitality. The saganaki and the gyros in particular are very worthwhile.

Absolutely recommended! The gyros in the restaurant are simply fantastic – tender, flavorful and grilled to perfection. The portions are generous and the service is super friendly. If you love Greek food, you should definitely stop by here. We'll definitely be back!

The waiter was very friendly, but after you ordered, you were basically "processed." It took a long time before you could pay. The food was good and the portion was quite strong. I couldn't finish it. The price is a bit higher than that of other Greeks tick higher, but the ambience is very nice. We would like to try it again

Were there for the first time. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The food is delicious. Nice terrace to sit on. I can highly recommend it. We were very satisfied. Prices are reasonable. All in all very good.

Lunch on the terrace, unfortunately only opens from 1 p.m., should perhaps be reconsidered for Sundays and public holidays. Tzatziki and coleslaw were quite tasteless, a little more seasoning would have been good. Otherwise very good taste and quick service. The atmosphere was far from a Greek taverna, but it was clean. Would love to come back.

Very tasty food and cozy atmosphere.

We were visiting from New York for the Euro Cup and had an amazing meal. The host was very friendly and the all the fish were grilled to perfection. We loved the octopus, fried calamari and branzino. The homemade bread was outstanding. The restaurant is located in a very quiet neighborhood and the outdoors seating was lovely. Highly recommend it.

We were in the “Taverne Ouzo” for the first time on June 8th, 2024 with 7 people. Starting with the extremely friendly and humorous staff (and owner) through the selection and quality of the food to the (super delicious) "Ouzo on the house", we had a very, very nice evening. Pampered all around and reasonable waiting times for drinks and food. The term "tavern" is appropriate and describes exactly what you can expect... ...and that's a lot!!! We would like to thank you for the lovely evening and say.... See you soon!!!

I ate a gyros there completely, at the beginning I was a bit amazed at how coarsely or thickly cut the gyros were. I've never seen gyros in this shape before, I admit it, the first thing I thought of was pan gyros but it was freshly cut and... Super tasty, fries were good, only the side salad could have been a little bigger. My wife had fish and was happy too.

Fries totally soft and inedible. After you speak to the staff, zero insight! You have to pay the full price. Overpriced and the food doesn't taste good at all! Not worth recommending! Unfriendly treatment of customers is also added! :(

A new Greek in Gnadental? He had to be visited immediately. Everything new... terrace, interior, furniture, kitchenette... everything new. Greeted warmly by the boss, we went straight to the menu... lots of delicious things... we have to go here more often. When someone from the staff comes in, they usually go into the kitchen without saying a word. Not in Ouzo, here you wish the guest “bon appetit”… exemplary. Also exemplary: everyone wears a mask, even in the kitchen. I cannot confirm a previous review that alleged smoking in the kitchen. The dishes are well seasoned. The cooking points, except for a piece of pork, are excellent. The beef liver is nice and juicy and not fried to death like elsewhere. We were there for the second time yesterday and will definitely be back… for Ouzo at Ouzo.

I'm here in Neuss on business. Passed by it by chance. Went there in the evening and received a really positive welcome. Everyone was super friendly, the owner and the 2 great women in the kitchen. Beautifully prepared plates. And as the name suggests, there was also ouzo with ice cream on the house. Day 2 was also delicious. When I'm close again I'll take a look again.

I come to Ouzo pretty regularly. We are a group of six to eight people and play card and board games there. The food is delicious and always very plentiful. The service is always quick. The price/performance ratio is good.

Wir haben heute,Abend im Restaurant Ouzo zu Abend gegessen. Der Gyros war sehr lecker, Zaziki und Reis ebenfalls. Meine Freundin war auch zufrieden mit ihrem Lachsgericht. Wir würden wieder dort essen. Bedienung sehr flott und freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Restaurant ist von Außen eher unscheinbar und ein wenig versteckt von der Hauptstraße aus. Vom Innenraum ist die Einrichtung eher unscheinbar und weniger gemütlich. Hier lässt nichts auf ein griechisches Restaurant schließen. Mit einer kleinen Gruppe von Arbeitskollegen haben wir dennoch einen schönen Abend verbracht. Der Chef der Lokalität war sehr freundlich und hatte immer einen witzigen Spruch auf Lager. Das Essen war hervorragend und wurde zügig und heiß serviert. Ich muss schon sagen, einfach Top. Hier stimmt die Qualität und der Preis. Ich werde wiederkommen!

Lecker essen, nette Bedienung, Ambiente na ja...verbesserungswürdig

Das erste mal da gewesen und positiv überrascht worden. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, besonders die Vorspeise „Saganaki“ (Garnelen mit Knoblauch und Feta in Tomatensauce), sollte man probieren.

Kommen öfters und sind immer zufrieden. Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet, Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt. Chef immer guter Laune und freundlich.

Es war wie im Urlaub. Draußen ist es zwar 5 Grad kalt und grau, aber man betritt im Ouzo eine Welt der Freundlichkeit. Mir ging das Herz auf. Es ist außerdem freundlich eingerichtet, Tip Top sauber und man kann sich richtig wohlfühlen. Das Essen ist fantastisch und richtig schön große Portionen…. Wir hatten die Lammkoteletts und die waren echt lecker. Ich bin so begeistert über die Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer. Auf jeden Fall komme ich wieder !!!! und im Frühling u Sommer freue ich mich schon auf die Terrasse. Überglücklich diese „Perle“ gefunden zu haben !!! Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und noch hervorragender bewirtet. Alle drei Teller sahen wunderbar aus und schmeckten erstklassig. Die Portionsgröße ist riesig, der Preis gering. Zum Schluss gab es noch den obligatorischen Ouzo aufs Haus. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis noch. Einer der Top-Griechen die ich kenne.

Richtig gutes Lokal. Hier ist der Name echt Programm. Ein herzensguter Kneiper, der augenscheinlich für seinen Beruf brennt, wird dir einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bereiten. Leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente, faire Preise, super Service. Mehr geht nicht. Gerne wieder!

Wir kommen immer wieder gern hierhin. Der Service ist super und unglaublich freundlich, die Speisen haben eine sehr gute Qualität und auf Nachfrage gibt es auch immer mal etwas außerhalb der Karte. Auch ein besonderes Lob an die Pizza, die Beste im Umkreis nach unserem Geschmack, aber das ist natürlich persönliches Empfinden.

Jeder wird herzlich empfangen. Essen ist mega lecker ! Immer ein Besuch wert!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und sind zufrieden. Wir sind vor allem für das Gyros gekommen. Die Gerichte waren heiß und schön angerichtet. Geschmacklich waren wir uns etwas uneinig. Letztlich kamen wir zu dritt auf eine 7/10 Der Service und Ambiente waren sehr gut 10/10

Das Ouzo kann ich nur bestens empfehlen. Das Essen wird inner frisch zubereitet. Die Portionen sehr groß und super lecker.. Service top und ganz persönlich. Hier ist man gerne Gast und kommt gerne wieder. 5 Sterne plus.

Auf jeden Fall gibt es hier das zweit beste Gyros in Neuss. Der Service und die Bedienung sind echt super. Das Ambiente ist okay, vor Ort zu essen keine schlechte Idee.

Waren spontan hier Essen weil's in der Nähe unseres Hotels war. Unsere Gerichte waren sehr lecker, vor allem aber schick serviert, das gibt es selten. Der Kellner war super sympathisch und humorvoll 🤣. Auf jeden Fall eine gute Empfehlung für alle die gerne griechisch essen.

Ich war jetzt schon sehr oft da und bin rundum sehr zufrieden. Das Essen wird immer frisch gemacht und schmeckt hervorragend. Preis/Leistung stimmt. Ich gehe gerne hin.
