Sweet authentic restaurant with a small menu. Delicious! It's also really comfortable to sit in.

Unfriendly staff, things appear in the bill that you didn't order, the price-performance ratio isn't right, overpriced, menu -> only on a blackboard, in Italian. It feels like only one person can speak German.

A real insider tip for those who love authentic Italian cuisine. Food very tasty and relatively inexpensive (for Munich). The family runs the restaurant accordingly and the service is nice. The ambience is a bit old, but the food and wine list are great!

BE CAREFUL- They seem very nice but if you don’t speak Italian they will rip you off and you can’t pay with card we had to walk to a cash point. After eating, we were not treated like a priority, I think they plan to scam those without Italian language.

You can’t reject people to enter, because YOU have no server/waiter at the entrance that can speak a word of German or English, and understand what you’re saying. The old lady there that works there, didn’t understand what we were asking her and just signaled us to leave. The place was not full (only three tables were occupied) I understand it’s an Italian place and you it to be authentic, but that is not an excuse for such horrible service. Wouldn’t try to go back, when treated with such disrespectful service.

This little piece of Italy in the city has captured my heart!! Osteria Veneta offers authentic Italian dishes that are simply delicious. The atmosphere is charming, the service warm and the pasta al dente. An absolute recommendation for everyone who loves real Italian cuisine!

Once again a top culinary finish to the end of the year and at the same time the best meal of the whole past year. To receive unconditionally and unreservedly for years. The cooking here is always at the highest level.

Very authentic Italian home cook style restaurant hidden in a quiet street with very small menu on the board which is good for my case as i would get fresh ingredient in my plate.

Authentic Italian family-run restaurant The best authentic Italian food we’ve had in a long time! No fuss or bling here, just simple and true good food. I specially have to mention the quail with radiccio. But also the tagliolini that were so light and delicious. And the catfish… Real nice place with plenty of room between the tables. Choice between 2 antipasti, 3 primi and 2 secondi, and everything was equally top-notch quality. I highly recommend!

What an excellent Italian restaurant. Every time I am in Munich I make sure to visit this gem. Everything is done with love and care from the interior to the people serving and last not definitely not least the awesome food. Highly recommended :-)

This Italian Osteria is representing a more and more disappearing type of restaurant, where the focus is on the food and service. A strictly limited selection of dishes makes it easy to choose. Food is prepared in a decent amount of time and tastes delicious. I enjoyed one of the best octopus legs since a long time at this location! Staff talks consequently Italian, but is helping to translate the menu, in case one is not firm in Italian language. Payment can be done cash or EC card only. Recommended to lovers of Italian food and language, who prefer "traditional" Italian ambient.

Ich kann die ganzen guten Bewertungen ehrlich gesagt nicht nachvollziehen: Der Chef hat mehrmals vergessen, was wir zu trinken bestellt hatten, und musste dann nochmal nachfragen. Irgendwie wirkte er einfach generell ziemlich verwirrt. Dann meinte er, es gibt gefüllte Nudeln mit Blumenkohl (was ich schon komisch fand, aber als vegetarische Option dann bestellt habe) — als die kamen, war es ziemlich sicher mit Spinat. War auch ok, aber halt nicht, was er gesagt hatte. Als ‚vegetarische Antipasti‘ haben wir Kartoffelcarpaccio mit Wachtel(!) bekommen, die uns am Schluss sogar erst in Rechnung gestellt wurde. Als er dann gemerkt hat, dass das sein Fehler war, hat er uns gedämpfte Karotten und Steckrüben gebracht als Antipasti-Alternative - irgendwie war’s schon richtig lustig. Die Frau, die abkassiert hat, konnte gar kein Deutsch, was schwierig ist, wenn man die Rechnung korrigieren muss. Ich hatte an dem Abend nach gefüllten Nudeln dann auch noch Bauchweh. Also insgesamt wirklich ein skurriler Abend und dafür war’s auch dann auch echt noch viel zu teuer.

Osteria Veneta is a family run Italian Restaurant with sublime food. We had a 3 course dinner … fish carpaccio, ravioli and a chocolate soufflé. So good!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Ambiente war ebenfalls sehr gemütlich und der Service hervorragend. Nach meinem persönlichen Empfinden ist die Qualität sowie Quantität für den Preis aber nicht ganz angemessen.

This is one of the finest Italian restaurant in town. The owner gave us warm welcome followed by a quite detailed explanation of the day's menu card. She also recommended which dish to order for our special occasion, which wine to try and the dessert at the end. The food has a very authentic Italian taste and it's very delicious! We order tagliatelle and ravioli 😍 I would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will definitely visit this place again!

True family-run vibe and super friendly experience. Just dropped in late for a simple pumpkin ravioli with sage butter which was up there with the best I've had. No frills, no rush, just cosy and relaxed atmosphere.

Immer extrem lecker und absolut authentisch.

Sehr guter Italiener. Absolut italienisches Flair, mit einer sehr netten Bedienung. Wir haben unter der Woche vorbeigeschaut. Es war ruhig und es gab die beste Pasta, die wir in München bisher gegessen haben. Die Karte war zwar klein, dafür haben sie aber jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Keine Gaststätte für die typisch deutsche Konsumgesellschaft sondern für Genießer mit Geschmack.

Preis/Leistung stimmt leider nicht! Teuer, aber gut: das war bisher unser Eindruck von der Osteria Veneta. Unser jüngster Besuch war aber eine herbe Enttäuschung. Beim Hauptgericht Tagliatelle mit Languste war von Languste wenig zu spüren, das Branzino-Filet war nicht frisch und der Preis dafür zu hoch. Von den drei angebotenen Nachspeisen waren zwei aus Schokolade. Die Schokolademousse war innen leicht gefroren. Leider wird das Lokal seinem hohen Preisniveau nicht gerecht.

Die Location ist super schön eingerichtet. Tolle Deko, alles passt zusammen und man fühlt sich ein wenig wie in einem kleinen Restaurant in Italien. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Egal ob Vorspeise, Hauptgang oder Nachspeise. Sehr lecker und toll angerichtet. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Weinen und sonstige Getränken. Da sollte für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei sein. Der Service ist super aufmerksam aber nicht störend und lustig. Reservierung würde ich empfehlen. Man kann mit EC-Karte bezahlen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr gutes Essen, ideal temperierte Weine, sehr angenehmer Service und gepflegte Atmosphäre im Zentrum, aber preislich angesichts der überschaubaren Mengen doch überhöht. Schade!

Ein fantastisches Restaurant in München. Hervorragendes Essen, toller Service, fantastischer Wein und ein super Ambiente. Dieses Lokal kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen und freu mich auf den nächsten Besuch.

Ich fahre sehr gerne 3 Stunden für dieses Gaumenerlebnis. Mit soviel Liebe gekocht ist das ein Unikat von einem Italiener. Vom Wein über die Betreuung bis hin zum Ambiente immer wieder eine Reise wert.
