Selten haben wir uns in einem Restaurant so wohlgefühlt. Das familiengeführte italienische Restaurant begeistert mit einer herzlichen Atmosphäre, einem wunderschönen Ambiente und einer authentischen italienischen Küche. Die Speisen sind hervorragend – frisch, geschmackvoll und mit viel Leidenschaft zubereitet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des gesamten Teams. Man merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird. Absolute Empfehlung – wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Das Ambieten ist sehr schön. Man kann im Sommer super draußen essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat sich mit uns unterhalten. Jedem hat das Essen geschmeckt von Pasta bis zur Fischplatte. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Toller Außenbereich, das Essen war ein Traum und das Personal sehr freundlich

Leider nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Außerdem wurde das letzte Mal unsere Bestellung vergessen und habe fast 2 h auf das Essen gewartet... Wäre alles noch ok gewesen, wenn diese nicht komplett unhöflich darauf reagiert hätten.

Wir haben Pizzen und Vorspeise zum abholen bestellt. Die Pizzen waren wirklich sehr lecker und geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Leider war die Vorspeise eine große Enttäuschung. Laut Speisekarte sollte sie mit Büffelmozzarella, Salat, Parmaschinken, Tomaten und Parmesan serviert werden. Tatsächlich bestand sie aus etwas Rucola, einem Salatblatt, vier Scheiben Parmaschinken und normalem Mozzarella statt Büffelmozzarella. Tomaten und Parmesan fehlten komplett. Für einen Preis von 15,80 € finde ich das ehrlich gesagt etwas frech. Sehr schade!

Ein richtig schönes gemütliches Lokal bei dem man gut essen kann.

Update Mai2026: Wir waren nun wieder da. Schön bei warmen Wetter und Sonne. Wieder ohne Reservierung kurz nach 17uhr. Schön viel splatz draussen. Schnelle freundliche Bedienung. Getränke und auch das essen kam schnell. Alles frisch und sehr lecker. Das war dieses jahr nicht unser letzter Besuch. Keine beanstandung. Alles bestens. Preis völlig etwas angepasst zum Vorjahr aber ok. Eintag vom August 2025 Wir waren pünktlich Samstag 17uhr da ohne Reservierung. Es wurde schnell etwas voller draussen. Genügend Plätze sind drinnen und draussen vorhanden. Das Personal war super nett, freundlich und kam regelmäßig und hatte nachgefragt. Das Essen war mega lecker und trotz extra Wünsche, kein Problem. Preis Leistung super. Übersichtliche Speisekarte lädt auch zum probieren ein. Wir hatten die Lasagne und Pasta mit Meeresfrüchte. Zu euch kommen wir definitiv noch öfter. Danke für die tolle Bedienung und das Essen. Macht weiter so. Jeder der dort in der Nähe ist, sollte auch mal da gewesen sein.

Sehr gute Pizzen zum fairen Preis. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sucht echt seinesgleichen. Zum Ambiente kann ich nichts sagen, da wir die Pizzen abgeholt haben. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen. Einziger Wermutstropfen war leider, dass auf einer Pizza die Garnelen gefehlt haben... Hat das positive Erlebnis aber kaum geschmälert.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und sind spontan eingekehrt. Sonntag Mittags sogar kein Problem. Die Pizza war hervorragend, typisch italienisch und die Bedienungen inkl. dem Chef waren sehr nett. Absolut tolles italienisches Essen im schönen Ambiente.

Egal ob Pizza, Nudeln oder Tortellini – alles schmeckt einfach hervorragend und man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe gekocht wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das ganze Team: immer herzlich, freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich jedes Mal sofort willkommen. Abbiamo avuto un’esperienza eccellente al Ristorante Tropea a Neuötting. Il cibo è stato semplicemente straordinario – ingredienti freschi, sapori autentici e piatti preparati con grande cura. La pizza è assolutamente top: impasto perfetto, croccante fuori e soffice dentro, con condimenti di altissima qualità. Anche il servizio merita il massimo dei voti: personale professionale, attento e molto cordiale. Ci siamo sentiti accolti come a casa. Un ristorante che consigliamo con grande piacere. Modernes Ambiente, super Pizza, das beste Alk freie Weißbier (Hacklberg), super nettes Personal, warten mussten wir auch nicht und dazu noch super Preis- Leistung!

Gutes Essen aber die Wartezeit ist ein Katastrophe. Es gibt eine Zweiklassengesellschaft…..manche bekommen das Essen/Getränke in normalen Zeiten…. andere warten 1 1/2 Stunden darauf. ( Stammkundschaften werden besser bedient )

Hervorragend gegessen! Pizza aus dem Steinofen und Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten. Das Pizzabrot ebenfalls sehr fein. Preis Leistung top. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und ich werde es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass dieses Restaurant zu den besten in der Gegend gehört – nicht nur das Essen, sondern auch das Ambiente ist fantastisch. Wunderschön! Weiter so, danke! 👍

Delicious Pizza Pizzo, Risotto Marinara and Tagliatelle Salmone for the family today – excellent! The service wasn't quite the same class, but better than the nearby competition.

Nice atmosphere, but it takes forever. There are two security cameras filming in the dining area. And one of the employees was very unfriendly.

The food here is consistently excellent. In the area, this pizzeria is one of the best, if not the very best, in my opinion. I haven't had a single dish I found fault with – the quality and taste have been consistently outstanding. The new location is very well designed. You can clearly see that attention has been paid to detail and the overall concept is well thought out. I've ordered countless times and have also eaten there several times. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly good in the first few years. That has to be said honestly. However, this has changed significantly: The service is now at a very good and pleasant level. You can clearly see that they've worked on their processes and consistently implemented improvements. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! We were invited to Tropea by friends who love eating there. All the dishes (starter, main course, dessert) were above average. The portions are generous, the dishes are beautifully presented, and all the ingredients seem fresh. The fresh trofie (pasta) with swordfish and eggplant was particularly delicious! The food selection is fantastic: you can find all the classic dishes on the menu, as well as specialties. The service was very friendly, and the ambiance was modern yet cozy. We'll definitely be back!

So on this Saturday evening, when the four of us were there, absolutely everything went wrong, and there were even "no-gos." It started with the drinks order vs. delivery – a lot of things were brought out incorrectly. Then we had to order wine instead of the wine spritzer we ordered, as even the waiters couldn't understand us due to a language barrier. Then the first pizza arrived... after my friend had already taken the first cut, the boss came back and snatched his plate away and put it on another table 🤣🤣 (NO GO). Then another pizza arrived, which he was allowed to eat 🤙🏽. But the other three pizzas only arrived upon request, after the first pizza was already 90% eaten 🤣. Empty glasses and salad bowls weren't cleared away... we had to move them to another table ourselves. So, bottom line, unfortunately, nothing and at best a grade of 4 - sorry!

We used to eat there often at the old location. Since they moved to Bahnhofstrasse, it's declined considerably. Although everything has been modernized, it's quite cramped, and when it's busy, it's so loud that you can't really have a conversation. The manager can be quite rude and even threw out people who had already ordered. The prices have also gone up significantly, which is a bit cheeky. The food is good, but too expensive.

The overall impression was significantly better at the previous location. Tropea has lost several stars in its current location. The food is quite good, the ambiance is okay, but could be improved (space, style), and the service is disastrous, except for one waitress who tries to please the grumpy guests. The manager, in particular, is awful in her work ethic: she shouts over seated guests, bosses the wait staff around, and generally causes a great deal of unrest. Another important thing to mention is the way food orders are placed: only the manager is allowed to do this, and it takes about 30-45 minutes before you can even order your food. On top of that, the first drink is already empty by then, and you don't really want to wait for your food any longer. Only the manager answers phone calls, and they are brief, to the point, and rather disrespectful, as she doesn't let you finish your sentence and simply hangs up after her answer without waiting to see if you have any further questions or even saying goodbye. Furthermore, the service staff (including the manager) don't communicate with each other, as no one knows which guests are getting what and when they were served. We feel like the manager is overwhelmed and perhaps she should delegate some work to improve the overall atmosphere. So, at this time, we wouldn't recommend Tropea and definitely recommend improvements to the restaurant, especially to the manager.

We had lunch there with 28 guests at our wedding. It was beautifully decorated, the food was excellent, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. There was an aperitif before the meal. There were no long waits. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the restaurant.

Review of Ristorante Tropea in Neuötting (Germany) An absolutely negative experience. I want to warn everyone, both customers and future employees: be very careful! The owner, Murano D., and other Calabrian-born people who run the restaurant threaten the staff and exploit them in an unacceptable manner. After signing the contract, they don't honor the agreements and even demand a refund from the bank. They don't even pay for every day worked and treat those who work there with complete disrespect. I truly hope that the relevant authorities, such as the Finanzamt, will intervene as soon as possible. I do not recommend anyone to work here and I urge everyone to be careful before engaging in any kind of business with this restaurant.

Yes, it was worth eating there. It was recommended by my sister and brother-in-law. I'd go back anytime.

When we got there, despite having a reservation, we were forced to wait. To make matters worse, guests who were already seated were moved because of us. That's a bit uncomfortable at first. The fact that the staff are quite curt and that there are more smiling waitresses is just the way it is... The crowning glory, however, is the way they deal with criticism!! You only have to look at Google here to see the sometimes rude comments that come up in response to criticism... So, in our case, I got my pizza and, as you can see in the photo (!!), there was hair on it. And it obviously wasn't hair that had fallen on it afterward, but was baked into the cheese. When I politely pointed this out, they actually started poking around on my pizza with a ballpoint pen(!), only to shortly afterwards run away with it indignantly... I didn't even look at them again after that, but at least I got a new pizza—albeit black in places. Afterwards, I was told that it wasn't hair, but threads from the mushrooms?! I don't know what's worse: The fact that there was no apology, the fact that there were hairs on the pizza itself, or the fact that they seriously think I can't tell the difference between long black hairs and "mushroom threads" (do mushrooms have "threads" like chanterelles?!)!! The fact is, something can always go wrong, but then they apologize and that's it. The way I've been treated condescendingly here, despite the good but no more than average food, means I probably won't come here again.

Kompliment. Service, Freundlichkeit, gelebte Gastfreundschaft und die beste PIZZA ever. Am Mittwochabend war wir auf der Durchreise nach Österreich, es hat uns nach Altötting verschlagen, am Stadtplatz waren bereits im 21.20 Uhr alle Küchen dicht. Ein Anruf im Tropea: Ja sicher können Sie bei uns noch eine Pizza essen. Ankunft etwa 21.45 Uhr, sehr freundliche Bestellannahme, Getränke waren nach 1 min da, die beiden Pizzen kamen nach rd. 10 min. Und nach nun 61 Lebenjahren und sicher nach mehr 500 verzehrten Pizzen bei Italienern und guter Erinnerung: die PIZZA Nr. 52 "Picante" war die beste von allen. Mein Kollege hat seine 62 ebenso hochgelobt. Nicht weil die Pizza viel größer war als der 30 cm Teller, nein der Geschmack und der Verhältnis von Belag und Pizzaboden waren einmalig. Das wollten wir gleich auf der Rückreise am nächsten Tag nochmal probieren, leider aber hatte man zw. 14 und 17 Uhr die verdiente Pause, ansonsten hätten wir so gerne diese einmalige Qualität nochmal geprüft. Wir sind uns aber sicher: wir kommen bald wieder, um die beste PIZZA ever nochmal zu geniessen. Dank an das Team.

Neither German nor English are spoken. The dark-skinned waitress said she only spoke Italian. So we couldn't order or express any special requests. We left. We can't say much about the food.

It's a cozy place to eat. The food is good. It's not your run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant. You can tell they use good ingredients. Hence the different taste. I would call it a true Italian.

Okay for a first visit, but the prices were overpriced (the tiramisu for €8.50 was supposed to be perfect, but it was disappointing!). Vending machine cappuccino – are we at an Italian restaurant or not?! The fish dishes were mediocre, and we're used to pasta dishes entirely differently. Tomato salad tasted like ordinary supermarket tomatoes. Unfortunately disappointing! The ambiance, though, was great, both inside and out. Restrooms, on the other hand, are in need of renovation!

We visited Tropea for the first time today. We had two delicious stone-baked pizzas and a pasta dish. Everything was excellent and perfectly cooked. The menu was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We'd love to go back!

I used to be almost a regular – now sadly disappointed. Before the move, Tropea was a reliable address for me, whether dine-in or takeaway. Since the relocation to Bahnhofstrasse, things have unfortunately gone downhill. The service in the restaurant sometimes seems overwhelmed, and when picking up, the food often doesn't match what was ordered – I've now received the wrong thing for the third time, but I paid the price according to the order. It's unpleasant, but the only thing that helps is to check before you leave. At first, I thought things would settle down – new, larger restaurant, same staffing levels, so things can get a bit choppy. But enough time has passed for things to get back to normal. But they haven't. A shame.

The food tastes good, if rather normal - but the portions are generous, especially for the pizzas. The service was also friendly and problem-free. The only point of criticism: Some of the pizza had badly burnt spots on the bottom. Unfortunately, if the pizza base has a lot of black spots, the taste will also suffer.

I have rarely eaten a better pizza!

About three weeks ago I celebrated my 32nd birthday with a small group (nine people) and it was our first time in this restaurant. Despite the busy evening, the service staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was really tasty, the drinks were served quickly, and we really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant - stylish and cozy at the same time. We were particularly happy about a little surprise at the end of the evening – a very nice gesture! I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

I'm in Germany for work and in these 10 days I couldn't help but return to this restaurant which made me feel at home. Italian and very kind owners, truly excellent food and very elegant location. 💯

A highlight of an Italian restaurant in LK Altötting. The family-run restaurant offers excellent quality food. Pizza and pasta dishes are excellent and authentic. The fish dishes taste extremely fresh and delicious, you feel like you are back in Calabria. The family is extremely accommodating, you immediately feel welcomed as if you were with friends. The interior of the restaurant is very new, elegant and yet cozy. We look forward to the next visit.

When I was a student in the late 90s and early 00s, there was a pizzeria in Auloh near Landshut that baked the most delicious pizza. The pizzeria is still there, but it's not what it used to be. I haven't eaten such delicious pizza anywhere since then and yesterday at TROPEA I was very positively surprised and my memories were brought back to the wonderful student days.
