It's a cozy place to eat. The food is good. It's not your run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant. You can tell they use good ingredients. Hence the different taste. I would call it a true Italian.

Okay for a first visit, but the prices were overpriced (the tiramisu for €8.50 was supposed to be perfect, but it was disappointing!). Vending machine cappuccino – are we at an Italian restaurant or not?! The fish dishes were mediocre, and we're used to pasta dishes entirely differently. Tomato salad tasted like ordinary supermarket tomatoes. Unfortunately disappointing! The ambiance, though, was great, both inside and out. Restrooms, on the other hand, are in need of renovation!

We visited Tropea for the first time today. We had two delicious stone-baked pizzas and a pasta dish. Everything was excellent and perfectly cooked. The menu was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We'd love to go back!

I used to be almost a regular – now sadly disappointed. Before the move, Tropea was a reliable address for me, whether dine-in or takeaway. Since the relocation to Bahnhofstrasse, things have unfortunately gone downhill. The service in the restaurant sometimes seems overwhelmed, and when picking up, the food often doesn't match what was ordered – I've now received the wrong thing for the third time, but I paid the price according to the order. It's unpleasant, but the only thing that helps is to check before you leave. At first, I thought things would settle down – new, larger restaurant, same staffing levels, so things can get a bit choppy. But enough time has passed for things to get back to normal. But they haven't. A shame.

The only point of criticism: Some of the pizza had badly burnt spots on the bottom. Unfortunately, if the pizza base has a lot of black spots, the taste will also suffer.

I have rarely eaten a better pizza!

About three weeks ago I celebrated my 32nd birthday with a small group (nine people) and it was our first time in this restaurant. Despite the busy evening, the service staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was really tasty, the drinks were served quickly, and we really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant - stylish and cozy at the same time. We were particularly happy about a little surprise at the end of the evening – a very nice gesture! I can definitely recommend the restaurant.

I'm in Germany for work and in these 10 days I couldn't help but return to this restaurant which made me feel at home. Italian and very kind owners, truly excellent food and very elegant location. 💯

A highlight of an Italian restaurant in LK Altötting. The family-run restaurant offers excellent quality food. Pizza and pasta dishes are excellent and authentic. The fish dishes taste extremely fresh and delicious, you feel like you are back in Calabria. The family is extremely accommodating, you immediately feel welcomed as if you were with friends. The interior of the restaurant is very new, elegant and yet cozy. We look forward to the next visit.

When I was a student in the late 90s and early 00s, there was a pizzeria in Auloh near Landshut that baked the most delicious pizza. The pizzeria is still there, but it's not what it used to be. I haven't eaten such delicious pizza anywhere since then and yesterday at TROPEA I was very positively surprised and my memories were brought back to the wonderful student days.

So far we have always been happy with the food, although there is definitely a better Italian restaurant in the area. Last summer we were all a bit surprised when the boss loudly complained about other guests at our table... I don't want to judge whether their behavior was appropriate, but I beg your pardon to complain about other guests like that! I picked up something to eat there on the evening of February 14, 2025 1x rigatoni al forno 1x tortellini panna e prosciutto 2x tiramisu This time it was more than just disappointing. There were a few small pieces of minced meat in the rigatoni. Judging by the amount, it looked like they had accidentally fallen in. The little cheese that the rigatoni was gratinated with seemed very inexpensive - it tasted more like pasta with tomato sauce and a small spoonful of cheese on top. The worst was the tortellini. There was hardly any sauce, but there was even more ham, which was obviously spoiled - there were a few pieces of ham in the pasta, which tasted very unpleasant and smelled rotten. It was also public that there were two different types of ham, probably the old ham mixed with fresh... Both were very disappointing in terms of taste and if I hadn't been too stupid, I would have brought the food back. The best thing about the order was the tiramisu, although this was also carelessly prepared and the cream tasted like whipped cream... Paid 48 euros for the whole thing because each dish was more expensive than on the menu on the website. Unfortunately we had to throw away the remaining pasta. When I went back the next day to bring back the jars of tiramisus (2 euros deposit per jar), I told the boss that the order this time was very, very disappointing, he just shrugged his shoulders. The restaurant is probably now finding it difficult to accept this criticism (as you can also read in some of the other Google reviews). It's a real shame, it's no longer about traditionally prepared Italian food, it's just about making as much money as possible. It's definitely nicely decorated there, but unfortunately it doesn't make the food any better.

We go to this pizzeria regularly and it's always a good experience! The chefs are masters, the food is delicious, and the service is always very nice. Every time we go to this family business we feel like part of the family.

I've never had to wait over an hour for a pizza at a restaurant. The pizza was edible but poorly topped. The ingredients started only 5 cm from the edge, so you could eat the cake. Unfortunately, this and the waiting time spoiled the whole mood. I don't recommend it and I won't go there again. Customers are clearly not valued here, as can be seen from the owner's response. Avoid this place.

I would like this restaurant to be in my city!

We reserved a table at 8:30. When we arrived all the seats were full, we were asked to wait a short time which was no problem at all. 20 minutes later there was still nothing free, a table was brought from outside and we were placed in the aisle and were told to get the next available table. We were then supposed to sit at a table where other people were already sitting and eating, which was a very unpleasant situation. What do you reserve for? What's more, the table from the previous person was still dirty. Thank God we were then assigned another table. We had to wait about an hour for our food and then unfortunately what was ordered didn't come. Despite everything, the food was very good! A service person was very friendly and tried very hard to save our evening

We are regular and happy guests at the Tropea Restaurant. Food, whether pizza, pasta, meat or fish dishes, is always wonderful!!! The innkeepers are always warm and accommodating, so you always feel welcome and well served.

Went to Tropea for the second time! We are testing and going through the dishes and are very satisfied so far! Food high quality and very nicely presented! The taste is perfect to surprisingly fine! Staff friendly and always trying to fulfill your wishes!

Three people recently went out for dinner again without an appointment! The restaurant was fully reserved. Nevertheless we got a table. The boss is very nice and flexible! Staff careful and courteous. We've been here several times unannounced because we don't always know whether we're coming to the area. We usually come to Neuötting spontaneously and then we try Tropea. But we only want to give the best testimonials for food and drinks. We are from Austria and will definitely come back.

Beef fillet was small but very tasty and cooked to perfection. The deliberately cold mashed potatoes were not my thing. The US charts of the 80s and 90s in the background may not really fit. Unfortunately, I had a completely dirty fork with leftover cheese from the previous one, which spoiled the otherwise 'okay' impression. The boss is very present.

Very tasty pizzas! The pizzas are very large and freshly made. It doesn't take long to get your order and the service is good too. The ambience is also very great.

Had reserved a table for 4 people to celebrate a birthday. The food came quickly, the pizzas were large and tasty. The pasta dishes are small. After dinner, about an hour later, with the glasses half full, we were asked by the boss to leave because he wanted to pass on the table. As an apology he just said- “there’s a lot going on.” We left the restaurant speechless and never came back.

Very friendly service and really good food. One of the few Italians in the region where you can also eat fantastic meat. Can 100% recommend the steak in pepper sauce😍 But also pasta with seafood and pizza. Actually everything😀 Finally, the wonderful, homemade tiramisu and the evening comes to a worthy end. Finally, I would like to say that I rarely give a review but this restaurant deserves it!

Einmal und nie wieder. Extrem unhöflicher Chef. Das Lokal ist extrem dicht bestuhlt. Wir waren zu dritt und bekamen, obwohl das Lokal 2/3 leer war, einen Zweiertisch zugewiesen, an den der Chef noch einen Stuhl heranzog. Als wir reklamierten, dass wir zu Dritt seien, wurde er unhöflich und bockig. Der Tisch war so klein, dass selbst das kleine Brotkörbchen keinen Platz auf dem Tisch hatte und wir es auf die Sitzbank stellen mussten. Einzig die Pizza -bei der erst eine falsche gebracht wurde- war gut, allerdings sparsam belegt, bei den Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten war die Soße ohne Geschmack und der Schwertfisch war hart und trocken. Insgesamt ein Reinfall!

We were there for the second time and never again, we had reserved a romantic table for two people in the beer garden 4 days before, when we got there we were told that everything was full and we had to eat inside. Very unfriendly waitresses who were completely overwhelmed and lukewarm food.

Food is good, but very long waiting times for simple pizzas (1.5 hours). Guests who came after us got their food before us.

I had to wait a long time for a drink and then didn't get a second one, the waitress just didn't come to the table. We were 12 people.

A very nice Italian restaurant, with very friendly staff. We had grilled salmon with porcini mushroom sauce and calamari. Both meals were very tasty and highly recommended.

I really like going to this pizzeria. The food is very tasty and if something isn't right I tell the staff. Where is the problem? I don't think these negative reviews are right. Where is such a great pizzeria in the area?? The staff is really very friendly. And honestly, everyone has a bad day. Those who give negative reviews are probably always in a good mood!!! Food wasn't served at the same time, long waiting times, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant. Requests regarding changes to the dish due to incompatibilities were ignored, the owner was unfriendly and unable to take criticism.

Very bad service, apparently you can't pay with a card for less than 30 euros! Normally there should be a reference to this somewhere but there is nothing like that! is just pure cheek! Never again! There are much better and friendly restaurants nearby!

The best Italian restaurant I've ever been to, everything was great.

Picked up 3x pizza and 1x gnocchi today. Unfortunately nothing tasted good. The pizzas were rather mushy, the edges were completely burnt black, the pizzas were bad (we had to throw them away). The gnocchi were supposed to be with arugula pesto, but I didn't see any arugula and it wasn't green either, just a cream sauce and not seasoned. Unfortunately we will order somewhere else next time.

Hello. I generally don't think it's a good idea if you're an Italian and don't have a 4 cheese pizza on the menu. Then you are told that the Denise pizza is 4 cheese and then everything is full of arugula and tomato halves. What does this have to do with a 4 cheese pizza? It won't be too much to ask as an Italian to make a 4 cheese pizza according to the customer's request. Definitely the first Italian restaurant that doesn't offer a 4 cheese pizza. This arugula pizza was okay if you like arugula. 4 stars for the food because the pizza was OK. 1 star for the service. What kind of recommendation is that when the customer wants a 4 cheese pizza and gets a rocket pizza. How can you be so inflexible and not be able to make a 4 cheese pizza upon customer request as an Italian? We ate the food at home. Therefore no opinion on the facility etc. Overall it's 4 stars because I'm having a good day and you've generally rated it very well and I don't want to push the cut too hard here. Otherwise it would have been 3 stars.

I reserved a table for eight people. When we arrived we told the friendly waitress that we would also take a smaller table because there were only five of us. (Had changed at short notice) This wasn't a problem for the waitress. She said that we were welcome to stay seated. A little later the boss came and told us in a harsh, very unfriendly tone that I should reserve a smaller table.
