Osmers Gaststätte Inh. Buchholz in Bremen

It's located in a busy but somewhat likeable neighborhood where everybody seems to be laid back. The food is traditional stuff, with a slight creative idea added on top for every dish. Waiters and waitresses are in a good mood. This doesn't really sound like 5 stars but it definitely always feels like it to me.* I've been there a few times. Update from July 3rd: Went there and the guy behind the counter told me special guests only tonight. However, there was no indication on Instagram or on their webpage that that would be the case. So what happens if you plan on going there and have to find out that you can't? You probably won't fancy that plan again, right?

A warm and cheerful welcome from the staff of the show kitchen and bar. The best table is way in the back in the private dining room. It's usually unavailable—we were lucky. Not only with the table, the wine, and the food, but especially with Bremen's version of a humorous, seemingly grumpy, barking Kurt Krömer impersonator, Ibo, who also provided excellent service. THANK YOU for a wonderful evening at the perfect table.

The food was really delicious, the service was excellent. The ambiance was okay. All in all, you can't complain.

Super nice people who live and breathe Werder Bremen. We sometimes go there after the game.
