The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the salad had a bit too much dressing. However, the staff were very friendly and asked if they could replace the salad. The ambiance is very pleasant, and you can take your time and enjoy your meal.

I was there last week and can't confirm the many positive reviews. Perhaps they were fake reviews? The service and the food were okay. What's completely unacceptable, however, is finding a hair in your food and being told it's your own. Sure, I have dark hair, and the hair in the food was light. Now that's what I call excellent customer service. I'm not so sensitive that I wouldn't continue eating, but this reaction shows me that there's no self-criticism.

We were here for the first time today. We highly recommend it. The old white man with us said the Oscar Burger was better than a meat burger. So you're doing everything right. And how about it, because we were with you. Best regards to the nice gentleman who anticipated our every need.

A modern, trendy restaurant. Here you'll find many rather unusual dishes for Koblenz standards—it's about time a place like this opened here. The coffee and the dishes are good.

We were there for breakfast today and were so pleased! The food was a 10/10. The atmosphere was also totally relaxed, not too crowded even though it was a Saturday. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Super cute shop in a quiet location – our server is absolutely top-notch with multiple stars! Very attentive and with a great personality. For breakfast, we had a wide selection, from savory to sweet, and everything was perfect! The espresso was also excellent, and I could totally devour the lemon cheesecake. All in all, a top-notch experience 🥰

I've been to Oscar several times now for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays, and we were generally satisfied with the food. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly bad each time, but there was always a lack of service. Last time, we had to wait almost 30 minutes to order our drinks, and then it took another while for them to be served. When we took our drink orders, we hadn't yet decided on our dishes, but we weren't able to order them until the drinks were served. The last few times, everything took quite a long time, which is forgivable given the restaurant's full capacity, but a second server would definitely be advisable during peak times.

That place was amazing! The owner is so kind and generous! The food is also amazing, full of flavour and the smoothies and juices we equally good. I would come here every day if I could.

An inconspicuous from the outside but great location in Koblenz's Südstadt district, which we visited several times. A hip restaurant with great vegetarian and vegan dishes. The staff are mostly lovely, attentive, and friendly. The dishes are authentic and very tasty. High quality, even with store-bought items (various patties, bread). I'd like to deduct half a star for the two mini slices of bread for two bowls, which unfortunately weren't quite fresh, for the takeaway food. It could be better.

Quiet atmosphere and delicious burgers, great bowls. The pasta (volognese) was a bit spicy for us, though.

Bis vor wenigen Monaten war das Oscars einem empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit leckeren frischen Speisen. Leider hat sich das seit kurzem extrem verändert. Die Qualität und Frische der Speisen hat deutlich abgenommen. Dafür sind die Preise hingegen deutlich angestiegen. Sehr schade. Wir waren hier sehr oft zum Essen und früher sehr zufrieden und werden leider aufgrund der negativen Veränderung in Zukunft keine Kunden mehr im Oscars sein.

Foreign visitors should note that English is not spoken by the staff, which can make ordering and paying confusing. The food was delicious, the salad fresh and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service was chaotic, and in a city like Koblenz, I was surprised that the staff didn't speak English. This also led to an unpleasant misunderstanding when paying. Overall, I'm somewhat ambivalent about my experience.

I haven't been here often, so I haven't really had any problems yet. I usually find a lot of things forgivable, like forgotten dishes and drinks, but today it was just too much for me. The food was bad, and I couldn't even eat half of it. I tried to explain to the waitress what the exact problem was and said it didn't taste good at all. I was then asked if I wanted to order something else, but I declined. A second employee came over and also asked me what the problem was, I explained myself again, etc. When I ordered, the full price for the meal was added anyway. I was really tired of starting a third conversation about it and find it strange to expect this kind of reaction: that the customer then pays in frustration instead of starting a discussion. Apparently, I'm not the only person who thinks the dish is bad. Maybe it should just be removed from the menu. On a human level and in terms of service, the behavior is absolutely abysmal. I don't even know why they even asked me twice. Even if someone had asked a third time, the food wouldn't have improved and I still wouldn't have been able to eat it.

Super great concept, highly recommended!

We were here for lunch during the week and got a table without a reservation. The menu is straightforward, and I believe they offer seasonal dishes made with regional ingredients. The food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The service was good (attentive and polite). The ambiance is also nice—they just don't sit comfortably on the chairs (a bit uncomfortable)—that could be improved ;) Overall, excellent value for money, and the food was very tasty! We'll be happy to return to try more dishes :)

We went to this cafe for breakfast at the weekend. The menu offers a good selection of different (vegan) dishes. The coffee was very good. The only point of criticism: The café has the following on the menu under the name: 99% vegan, sustainable. How is sustainability defined here? A shrink-wrapped biscuit and an unwrapped cube of sugar were served with the coffee. The cookies create an unnecessary amount of plastic waste (not sustainable), and if you don't need the sugar, it is thrown away (keyword food waste, not sustainable). The napkins were made of thick, comfortable paper, probably not the eco-friendly variety. These points lead me to describe the keyword sustainable as greenwashing on the map. More transparency would be desirable or a more sensitive handling of such buzzwords.

Very nice location! Very busy breakfast on Sundays. Reservation required. Unfortunately the coffee machine kept breaking down. So longer waiting times. Great service. Delicious products! Well prepared. I think better coordination between the MA regarding reservations would be necessary. Buffer times between reservations for cleaning and clearing tables would be useful.

I ordered via Uber eats, can't say anything about the service or the ambience, but for tasteless rice, a little salad, almost unchewable vegan meat and a spoonful of sour cream, €15 is a hefty price (shawarma bowl).

The lovingly prepared food as well as the selection and the very courteous service gave us an all-round successful breakfast!

As non-vegetarians, we still like to try everything out. I was pleasantly surprised that the Oscar burger was vegan and that the starters didn't have anything to do with meat in the slightest. The food was tasty, the service was very nice and the toilets were modern and clean. Even though we hadn't noticed the opening hours correctly due to ignorance, we were allowed to stay comfortably longer in the restaurant for over half an hour. Definitely recommended.

Best vegan burger I've ever eaten 😊

Nice restaurant with almost only vegan dishes. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant and the toilets are very clean. Drinks and food are delicious, although a little more expensive. Had the Beyond Meat Burger with potatoes for €17.00, that's quite an announcement. Especially since the patty is unfortunately not fried, but deep fried, which means the patty loses its taste and becomes dry. But would definitely come back.

It's really already furnished, you feel right at home :) We were really happy about the vegan milk alternatives. The food was also really tasty and the service was really good and friendly. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back!

Good shop with something different

I don't follow a vegan diet myself, but I love tasty, light cuisine, among other things. Very friendly and competent service. Clear menu with very creative, fresh dishes. We had four different main courses and were completely satisfied. Personally, I especially recommend the “Chana Massala Bowl” and the penne with “Creamy Mushrooms”. If only vegan always tasted like this...

Very nice cafe! The food is super tasty and 99% vegan (1% if you order an organic egg). Service is very friendly and the ambience is great too! Breakfast on weekends until 2 p.m.!!! Dogs are very welcome and also get something to drink :) 🐕

We've always enjoyed going to Oscars, but the last few visits have been quite disappointing. The food and drinks have not been good during our visits over the last few months. Drinks without ice (Aperol) Beer not in stock, beer cold... We even complained about the food, then got something new and it was just like the food we returned. We were too embarrassed to give it back again. No idea if the staff has changed...

The very tasty 99% vegan food (you can order a “waxy organic egg” with it) is served by friendly staff. Pasta, burgers and vegan kebabs all taste fresh and often “extraordinary” in a good way. The “Favs” as a starter are also really worth a try. The atmosphere is nothing special, but very nice. Because there aren't that many seats, it's generally not too loud and you feel like you have a little more privacy. Overall, highly recommended and one of the best addresses for vegan food in Koblenz.

Homemade food... service a bit cozy...

Almost exclusively vegan food, except for cow's milk and eggs, which you can order separately. The vegan cheeseburger is to die for. My friend had that. I tried some of it and ordered a burger to take away after our meal! My meal was the Burito Bowl. Delicious! My drink with matcha and berries was also delicious. Because we didn't make it right away, I took two more pieces of cake with me. Bounty and tiramisu. They were also super tasty. :) Always my pleasure!

First choice for veggies in Koblenz. Service, food, everything was great.

Very open and friendly service, advice was available with recommendations and small talk was very amusing. Portions were very large and could be adjusted flexibly. Changing ingredients in the salad. I personally chose the burger with rhubarb chutney and I would take it again every time and therefore highly recommend it. For me it had the right acidity and sweetness and went well with the pattie. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is right and I would go to the restaurant again at any time. I recommend reserving a seat even during the week as it seemed very busy.

We ended up here by chance while passing through and are thinking about eating here again tomorrow. The burrito bowl and the shawarma bowl tasted fantastic and thanks to the generous portion size we were (unfortunately) too full to choose anything else from the cake counter :). Delicious food, cozy atmosphere & friendly staff - highly recommended!

We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and it was delivered lukewarm. In the end we wanted to pay with the voucher book (Schlemmerblock) but we were told that this was not possible on the weekend. This would be noted in the publisher's terms and conditions. When we asked the provider Schlemmerblock, they expressly distanced themselves from this false statement and will take care of the complaint. Overall, we quickly noticed that the service was completely overwhelmed and couldn't provide any information when we asked.

The three of us visited Oscar for lunch. Wonderful ambience, fast friendly service, and good food. For starters we had Oscar's favorites “tomato hummus” with fresh warm bread. Drinks: Fritz apple-cherry-elderberry & apple-matcha-blackberry iced tea For the main course we had: • Pasta “meatball” with penne with a tomato pepper sauce + vegan meatballs and Parmesan. • “burrito bowl” chili sin carne, tomatoes, cucumbers, salsa, red cabbage and guacamole, delicately decorated with tortillas and bean sprouts. • Bowl “shawarma” with vegan chicken, sour cream, onions and mixed salad. Conclusion: all dishes were plentiful and tasted delicious and highly recommended. We will come back.

We were there for breakfast yesterday with four people. We made reservations in advance via Instagram, which worked great. The coffee drinks are highly recommended and can be chosen with cow's milk or plant-based milk. The avocado bread is our absolute favorite and tastes really great every time. For dessert we had the Lotus Pancakes and wanted to share them with two people and the staff complied with our request and divided the portion and served it on two plates :) All in all, this restaurant is highly recommended and the staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is great too! We'd love to come back!!!

The Menemen pan is absolutely overpriced. Ultimately it's just a small scrambled egg with sauce, a slice of brown bread and 20 ml of white beans in a can of tomato sauce. Quality is okay, but just scrambled eggs. Delicious, but far too expensive and the portion size is sufficient for a primary school child. Ambiance inside okay. View outside of supermarket parking lot and main road. Service friendly, professional. Price/performance inadequate.

I was there for Valentine's Day dinner with a friend. With a stated price of €40 per person, we were looking forward to a great evening with a 3-course menu. Unfortunately the aperitif was already significantly smaller than shown in the picture. Unfortunately, what we weren't told in advance is that the starter and dessert have to be shared. In principle it wasn't bad, but unfortunately the portions were far too small. The main course was very good! When we asked, we got a second dessert, which we didn't have to pay extra for. Overall it was a great evening, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right.

We went to Oscars for breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy, nice decor. I thought the scrambled eggs were good, fresh bread was also really tasty. My companion found the egg a bit watery. In general, the prices are not cheap, but in my opinion it is still worth it :) The super friendly waiters are also notable. 😊

We were on a short trip nearby and came here specifically for a vegan dinner. It was absolutely worth it, the food tasted great and the portions were great (we both had a pasta dish). Staff was very nice and attentive, everything was great :)

Meine Volognese Portion war groß, hier wird jeder satt. Vegetarier und Veganer kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Es gibt außerdem mehrere frische Tees, beispielsweise aus frischem Ingwer oder mit frischer Minze. Samstags und Sonntags gibt es eine Frühstückskarte bis 14 Uhr, hier sind auch Gerichte vertreten, die nicht in jedem Frühstücksangebot zu finden sind. Mal was anderes. Bei der Reservierung wird auch eine Handynummer abgefragt und man wird am Morgen des Tages, an dem man reserviert hat, per SMS an die Reservierung freundlich erinnert. Finde ich in der heutigen Zeit nicht verkehrt, eine gewisse Verbindlichkeit in der Reservierung auf diese Weise zu schaffen. :)

Super leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche Bedingung und ein nettes Ambiente. Wir waren nur eine Woche in Koblenz und 2 x bei Oscar zum Essen. Wir sind weder vegan noch vegetarisch, das Essen ist hier einfach perfekt und sehr bekömmlich. Wir hatten Pasta creamy mushroom, und Bowls: Falafel, burrito und shawarma. Getrunken haben wir ingwer detox und Oscars Sprudel, auch sehr empfehlenswert. Würden wir nicht 600 km weit weg wohnen, wären wir Stammgäste.

In der Mittagspause gehe ich gerne ins Oscar. Mein Favorit ist hier der Falafel Bowl. Die perfekte Kombination von Falafel, Hummus, Avocadocreme, Bohnen, Reis, Rotkraut usw. Als Mittagsmenü gibt es dazu ein Kaltgetränk und einen Kaffee - eine perfekte Kombination. Ich komme gerne wieder und empfehle dieses Lokal.

Die Bowls sind wirklich lecker und abwechslungsreich. Am allerbesten fand ich den veganen 3-Gängemenü Abend. Was an diesem Tag gezaubert wurde ist nicht in Worte zu fassen!

Wir waren schon zweimal dort. Das erste Mal super Essen und sehr nette Bedienung. Das zweite Mal also wieder darauf gefreut allerdings sehr enttäuscht worden. Wir waren dort und ich hatte das gleiche Gericht bestellt, das ich letztes Mal schon hatte und mir sehr gut schmeckte. Die Bedienung zwar nett aber anscheinend sehr überfordert obwohl nicht besonders viel los war. Das Essen kam recht schnell allerdings hatten wir schon vorher telefonisch bestellt, da wir eigentlich abholen wollten aber uns dann kurzfristig umentschieden haben dort zu essen. Als wir saßen sahen wir bereits wie andere Kunden lange auf ihren Service warten mussten und ungeduldig wurden. Fertig mit unserem Essen wollten wir dann zahlen und sind extra aufgestanden um dies mitzuteilen, da wir möglichst schnell gehen wollten. Uns wurde gesagt wir sollen uns hinsetzen, man würde gleich zu uns kommen. Als die Bedienung dann durch den Laden lief und andere Gäste bezahlen ließ und neue Bestellungen aufnahm warteten wir noch. Nachdem sie dann nach insgesamt 20Minuten mit dem Kartenlesegerät an uns vorbei wieder hinter den Tresen lief und uns anscheinend vergessen hatte, sind wir ein zweites Mal aufgestanden. Bis sie uns dann bemerkte verging auch noch mal gut Zeit, da sie mit dem Rücken zu uns stand und anscheinend eine Sprachnachricht abschickte. Wir haben also fast die Hälfte der Zeit die wir dort verbrachten darauf gewartet zahlen zu dürfen. Das Essen hat dieses Mal außerdem kaum nach etwas geschmeckt und war wohl nicht wirklich gewürzt, die Nudeln waren verkocht. Einen weiteren Besuch wird es wohl nichtmehr geben wenn die Chancen auf gutes Essen und guten Service 50/50 stehen.

Das Essen war leider nur okay, für mich nicht gut abgeschmeckt. Aber auch hier ist es nur unsere Persönliche Wahrnehmung;)

Kleines, feines Restaurant in der südlichen Vorstadt. Wir hatten Plätze draußen, da das Wetter gut war. Wir haben nur Wein und Limo getrunken, beides super lecker, Preise im oberen Segment. Da wir nichts gegessen haben, kann ich dazu keine Bewertung abgeben. Der Service war jedenfalls sehr aufmerksam und wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Kommen sicher mal wieder um auch etwas zu essen.

Nur ein Vorschlag, dass sie flexibel sein müssen und sowohl Mittag- als auch Frühstück nach 12 Uhr und nicht nach 14 Uhr anbieten sollen

Sehr tolles Restaurant und wirklich wichtig für Koblenz. Vielleicht gibt es irgendwann noch ein zweites davon dichter an der Stadt! Das Essen ist liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist zum Wohlfühlen und sehr schön.
