Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Lokal einfach eingerichtet, und durch den geringen Abstand zwischen den Tischen ist es etwas laut, da es immer voll ist – mit Gästen jeden Alters, von 0 bis 99 😁 Aber das Essen ist fantastisch. Ich bin zwar kein Experte für syrische Küche, aber das am Spieß gebratene Hähnchen mit köstlichem Safranreis und der Schawarma waren hervorragend. Auch das Baba Ghanoush war sehr gut! Ein großes Lob an die Köche in der Küche, die unermüdlich arbeiten. Achtung: Die Portionen sind riesig!

Wir waren am Donnerstag zu dritt zum ersten Mal hier essen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Speisekarte war abwechslungsreich und es fiel nicht leicht sich zu entscheiden. Vorspeisen als auch Hauptgerichte waren sehr lecker und es waren große Portionen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt ebenfalls absolut. Wir haben eine schöne kurzweilige Zeit gehabt und werden definitiv wieder kommen!

Ich habe diesen Laden erst vor Kurzem entdeckt, obwohl ich mein ganzes Leben in der Stadt verbracht habe, und ich kann mit Fug und Recht behaupten, dass ihr Shawarma das beste ist, das ich je gegessen habe. Ich habe schon unzählige probiert und wurde nie enttäuscht. Es wird genau so zubereitet, wie ein Shawarma sein sollte: saftiges Fleisch, köstliche Soße und ein paar eingelegte Gemüse für die perfekte Balance zwischen herzhaft und sauer. Ich habe in den Bewertungen viel über Wartezeiten gelesen, und es stimmt, dass die Bestellungen etwas dauern. Meiner Meinung nach ist das aber völlig verständlich. Der Laden ist immer voll, und sie haben auch viele Online-Bestellungen. Trotzdem schmeckt das Essen fantastisch, und die Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich. Daher kann ich diesen Laden nur empfehlen – das Warten lohnt sich!

The portions were very small, the kebab tasted stale, and the "salads," which were supposed to come with the mixed grill, were charged extra at €8 per plate. The kebab skewer was tiny—I was really dissatisfied and went home hungry. Furthermore, the ventilation was off, the whole room was filled with smoke, and my small child could barely breathe. No flavor, no comfort, no value for money—unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend it.

The food was delicious, warm, flavorful, and more than enough for what you ordered. I had the chicken shawarma and the grilled chicken. I found the salad a bit dry in both cases, and the lettuce wasn't fresh enough. Personally, I don't think the lettuce is necessary and I would prefer more salad instead. The restrooms were super clean and smelled nice.

Frankly, if you want to go back to the good old days and eat shawarma the way it was until now, this is the best place. The service is good, but the place is a bit cramped.

It took half an hour for someone to take the order, after another half an hour the order arrived and two of the three dishes were wrong so we had to cancel them, a plate of hummus with meat, by God the size of the palm of the hand, for 10 euros (picture) and the chicken shawarma was less than normal. The prices are high, and the restaurant is dirty. May Allah reward whoever got us into trouble and advised us of this restaurant because frankly one is too many for it

Unfortunately, my experience at the Orient Restaurant was disappointing. The service was very slow, and we had to wait a long time for our order without any apology or explanation. On Monday, I visited your restaurant with two other people and we ate there. When I paid, the amount was initially calculated using a calculator. At my request, I received an invoice, which was subsequently entered into the cash register system. Upon reviewing the invoice, I noticed that VAT was charged at 7% – which only applies to takeaway sales. However, since we ate in the restaurant, the correct tax rate of 19% should have been applied. The tax difference amounts to approximately €10, which is not insignificant. I would like to point out that such discrepancies can be considered tax evasion under tax law. I have the relevant evidence (e.g., a photo of the table with the food, an invoice with 7% tax).

For €10–20 per person, you really get a lot here, especially in terms of flavor. The service is always friendly: Even if some servers don't speak perfect German, we've never had an order taken incorrectly. What's especially great: When they see we're coming with a lot of people, they always immediately set up tables for us – even when it's really crowded inside. Last time, we even got free tea or baklava because we ordered so much – really thoughtful! Overall, great value for money and a place you'll gladly return to. 💯
