The shawarma here pleasantly surprised us: tender meat, a good portion, and flavorful sauces. A real treat, we'll gladly come back.

It is very expensive and has no cucumbers, only a little bit of meat.

I've ordered several times now, and the food is always of wonderful quality. So far, I've only ordered the grill mix and lentil soup. Everything was very tasty. Eating it is quite an adventure. I highly recommend it.

The portions were very small, the kebab tasted stale, and the "salads," which were supposed to come with the mixed grill, were charged extra at €8 per plate. The kebab skewer was tiny—I was really dissatisfied and went home hungry. Furthermore, the ventilation was off, the whole room was filled with smoke, and my small child could barely breathe. No flavor, no comfort, no value for money—unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend it.

Half Chicken on Rice. Food was good, would go again. Waited almost 2h for delivery. Price on menu card vs phone vs delivery guy was 3 times different though.

The food was delicious, warm, flavorful, and more than enough for what you ordered. I had the chicken shawarma and the grilled chicken. I found the salad a bit dry in both cases, and the lettuce wasn't fresh enough. Personally, I don't think the lettuce is necessary and I would prefer more salad instead. The restrooms were super clean and smelled nice.

Frankly, if you want to go back to the good old days and eat shawarma the way it was until now, this is the best place. The service is good, but the place is a bit cramped.

I've been going there at least once a week for several weeks now. The food is always really good, the portions are great, and the value for money is just as good. Today I had the double chicken shawarma for 13.50, which came with fries, vegetables, and coleslaw. Orient is simply recommended!

It took half an hour for someone to take the order, after another half an hour the order arrived and two of the three dishes were wrong so we had to cancel them, a plate of hummus with meat, by God the size of the palm of the hand, for 10 euros (picture) and the chicken shawarma was less than normal. The prices are high, and the restaurant is dirty. May Allah reward whoever got us into trouble and advised us of this restaurant because frankly one is too many for it

Unfortunately, my experience at the Orient Restaurant was disappointing. The service was very slow, and we had to wait a long time for our order without any apology or explanation. Furthermore, the quality of the rice deteriorated significantly, negatively impacting the taste of the entire meal. I hope management improves the service and quality soon.

I ordered a shawarma sandwich and was charged 8€. That seemed too high so later I checked the price list and the shawarma sandwich should cost 5€. So I was ripped off. Such behavior is unacceptable I recommend all people avoid this restaurant.

The food is not bad, but the service is The worst in Aachen. There are 7 people working but they took 20 min to come to our table, they were talking to each other and taking orders. The waiter wasn't friendly and seemed disgusted from us. The waiters are the worst, service is disgusting!!! I used to like this place but not anymore. Also if you eat there be sure your clothes will stay stinky from the smell of fried food.

On Monday, I visited your restaurant with two other people and we ate there. When I paid, the amount was initially calculated using a calculator. At my request, I received an invoice, which was subsequently entered into the cash register system. Upon reviewing the invoice, I noticed that VAT was charged at 7% – which only applies to takeaway sales. However, since we ate in the restaurant, the correct tax rate of 19% should have been applied. The tax difference amounts to approximately €10, which is not insignificant. I would like to point out that such discrepancies can be considered tax evasion under tax law. I have the relevant evidence (e.g., a photo of the table with the food, an invoice with 7% tax).

Delicious food, large portions & great service We often go to this restaurant as a family – the food is truly delicious and the portions are generous. For €10–20 per person, you really get a lot here, especially in terms of flavor. The service is always friendly: Even if some servers don't speak perfect German, we've never had an order taken incorrectly. What's especially great: When they see we're coming with a lot of people, they always immediately set up tables for us – even when it's really crowded inside. Last time, we even got free tea or baklava because we ordered so much – really thoughtful! Overall, great value for money and a place you'll gladly return to. 💯

The grilled food is amazing, and the broasted chicken and meat are golden brown and delicious. The charcoal-grilled food is also delicious. There's never been a time I've eaten at a restaurant without leaving feeling happy, satisfied, and full. The restaurant is a bit cramped, but the guys there are very nice. The restaurant has changed, to be honest, the service is very slow, and they changed the meals to their own style, and meals came before, and some people ate and some people did not eat, and we are still eating.
