The mixed plate was super tasty! Everything you can think of on it Falafel, halloumi, kebab meat, salad, grilled vegetables, various sauces...a dream!!!

Kebab as we know it from Poland, there are no surprises like gemuse or anything. Classic, but of relatively good quality. The vegetables are fine, the sauce is a bit too light for Polish tastes, but I asked the gentleman for some curry at the end and he gave it, so I can ask. Nice price! Very good falafel, does not dry out, nice additions, so much elegance. Pizza is cheap and greasy, just plain.

I was in Potsdam and looking for a quick bite during lunch hours. Saw people queuing up in front of this little eatery so decided to try. We ordered the Schawarma Teller for €14 and the Kofte Teller for €14.5. The staff saw that we were probably tourists and considerately advised us that they will require 10 minutes to prepare the dishes. Both dishes were delivered on time and we were wowed by the portion size. After we tasted both dishes, we were wowed even more by the taste! Both orders came with healthy salad and tasty dips too. The two of us were not able to finish the dishes at the end. The total bill together with bottled water came to under €30. I would say the meal we had was enough for 3 and maybe 4. Highly recommend if you like good value for money and taste.

ORIENT in Potsdam – dough dream on a new level! We were there today and are completely thrilled. I had falafel and halloumi in the dough, my friend had the shawarma in the dough - and we were both blown away. This dough maker is truly the best thing we've eaten in a long time. Golden brown and crispy on the outside, everything perfectly coordinated on the inside. Really, really tasty! You can tell straight away that people cook with heart here. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is on point, and the whole thing is simply well rounded. And the best part? Price-performance is a smooth 100. For what you get, you would probably have to pay twice as much elsewhere. Absolute recommendation – we will definitely come back!

Bad customer service! I ordered kebab with haloumi... Waited 20 minutes even though no one was in the store, nothing happened at first... then I got haloumi in the bread, I said I didn't order that, the seller is super rude to me, that's not my fault, it's theirs, they ordered wrong... aha thank you and never again!

For 30 minutes, I walked from the city in freezing temperatures, all for the sake of visiting this place. Upon entering, I didn’t hear any music because it was filled with silence, peace, and tranquility. There were no unnecessary smells—just the seller preparing shawarma. I ordered a döner kebab (7.00) and Club-Mate (2.50) for €9.50. It was one of the best döner kebabs you could find in this city. It was amazing—it looked amazing, tasted amazing. The portion was so large it was hard to finish. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Orient Food Döner is located right on the corner of Dortustraße and Brandenburger Straße and is therefore a shop that is likely to have quite a lot of tourists and walk-in customers - always not such a good sign. However, the store makes a good impression from the outside. You can sit very well here and there are decent chairs that are a little more comfortable than the benches that are available at the many snack bars on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. The tables are also less worn and were freshly wiped down when I visited. But the store is also totally fine inside. Sure: it's a snack bar and the air inside is accordingly, but everything seems very clean and well-kept and even surprisingly cozy for a kebab shop. The service was very good and friendly. The people there worked quickly, but with a fairly large selection of fried dishes there is only a small deep fryer. This meant that I and my wife had to wait a little longer as our food had to be made one after the other. We were the only ones in the store. If there are a lot of people there at the same time who all want fries, I imagine that would be tiring. But the selection of dishes is decent - there are also some vegetarian dishes and even pizza, if anyone feels like it. I had a mixed vegetarian plate, my wife a classic kebab plate with fries. The fries were okay and very well fried to perfection. According to my wife, the meat tasted very good and looked nice too - perfect browning. The salad went well with both of us. In addition to the salad, I also had couscous, makali, falafel and halloumi - all very tasty. Makali was extra salted, which I thought was good, and there was also a bit of sumac on it, which went well. The falafel were regular falafel but again fried to perfection - crispy but not hard or dry. The sauces were also a big highlight. The hot sauce was slightly spicy (not a given in Germany) and very tasty and the garlic sauce was the best standard garlic sauce I've had in a long time - little mayo, nice consistency and even small pieces of garlic in it. Hummus was also delicious. The price wasn't super cheap, but it wasn't completely overpriced either. Plus the portions were huge. I was more than full afterwards and my wife got so much meat that she didn't finish her portion, even though we came hungry and it tasted good. There's really nothing to complain about here and I'll definitely stop by more often when I'm in the mood for kebab and I'm in the city center.

Had a kebab (spicy garlic). Can't say anything negative. Typical kebab shop. Everything was fine.

So I was way too hungry and decided to try this restaurant, I ordered shawarma and Margarita pizza and honestly the shawarma was great, while ordering shawarma tell them not to add salad because they will just fill the sandwich with lots of veg and you wont be able to taste the actual taste of shawarma, just tell them only chicken, hummos and little spice and other sauces and trust me you’ll love it. Regarding the margarita pizza it was just okay, the quantity of the cheese was good but the tomato sauce was very less which made it dry so yeah overall I had a goof experience and would definitely recommend everyone.

The kebab here is really great! The meat is tender and well seasoned, and the fresh ingredients harmonize perfectly with each other. The sauces in particular are really tasty and round the whole thing off. The bread is also crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – exactly how it should be! The service is friendly and quick, and the portions are absolutely fair. If you're looking for a good kebab, you've definitely come to the right place. Will definitely come back!

I've been here 5-6 times now and the kebab here used to be a 10/10 - now it's only a 5/10. But last time the meat wasn't cooked through and was still half raw - unfortunately I couldn't eat the kebab and had to throw it away - a shame. I tried it again, the meat was done, but unfortunately it was already old and dried out. And the kebab has become super small. Had a big kebab and it was smaller than a normal one elsewhere. I understand that everything is getting more expensive right now, but it was really small, hardly any meat on it and way too much salad and sauce.

Probably the best döner kebab in Potsdam! I ordered the big döner kebab (#3 on the menu) and it was truly massive. My brother took the döner teller (#7 on the menu) which consisted of a small variety of lettuce, döner, french fries and sauce. We both agreed that my kebab was the better bargain (value for money portion-wise). The kebab was so tasty! It had a lot of meat and the sweet sauce. The regular size is 7 euros while the big size is 8 euros. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to a tourists in particular, since it’s located in a very nice area for walk. (Around 5 minutes away from the Brandenburg Tor in Potsdam.)

All in all great. The ambience was inviting and nice and the service was kind and attentive. The food (doner kebab, salad everything, herbs, garlic, spicy) was very tasty. The meat was extremely flavorful and juicy. The salad was crisp, fresh and flavorful and the bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. For me one of the best kebabs in Berlin and the surrounding area.
