o’reilly’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Düsseldorf

Was here about two years ago and loved it! Now it’s literally AWFUL- the new manager is sleazy and disrespectful. We were a group of people and not one person had anything nice to say about that place. NEVER again!

Really nice pub, it got quite loud later in the evening, I'll come again.

What a great genuine Irish pub!

Worst spice bag I ever had. Almost no flavour, vegetables weren't mixed with the actual spices, only the chips had some spice bag flavour. Curry sauce was flavoured water only (very watery). The asian lad there was very nice, that being the only good thing about this pub (except for the Guinness maybe. Pulled pork was very chewy and burnt.

Nice place 🙂 The service was a bit hectic, so it took a while to get your order. It was a busy Friday evening, so it was quite noisy, especially when the karaoke started... The food was okay, but nothing special. Despite all that, you can have a pleasant evening there.

Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time – terrible food, high prices, and even worse service. Our group had high expectations and drove 1.5 hours to eat here – and it was a complete disappointment from start to finish. Once we were in the basement with our group of four tables, we waited an unreasonably long time just to place our order. The waitress never came to our table, so I approached her politely to ask if we could order. She told me to wait. I then watched her prepare only two drinks at a time and continued to ignore our table. After more than 20 minutes, I asked again, and she once more told me to wait. Only when several of us were about to go upstairs to order at the bar did she finally come to our table. She only wanted to take drink orders, but I told her we were hungry and wanted to order food as well. I ordered the “loaded” nachos and fries with cheese sauce and sour cream. They brought out fries with blue cheese instead. The nachos were just dry chips with almost no toppings—completely inedible. For €13.50, it was an absolute joke. When we asked for more cheese sauce, we were told they had none left—only Buffalo sauce. When I asked where the guacamole (which was clearly listed on the menu) was on the nachos, the waitress replied, “Did you read the menu?” Then, sarcastically, she asked if she should call "the manager, the chef, or the police". She eventually brought guacamole from the kitchen and said, “There, now you have it your way. You can calm down.” She continued to speak to me disrespectfully in front of the entire group, saying I couldn’t have everything the way I wanted, and then loudly repeated, “Don’t be a Karen,” humiliating me in front of everyone. Her attitude was shockingly rude and completely ruined our evening. To make matters worse, the chicken wings were also disappointing—breaded, not as described, and some people received fewer wings (10 instead of 15) than they ordered. Also- they didn't have any Guinness. At the end, we decided to take the nachos home to at least try to fix them, as they refused to take them off the bill. We were told they didn't have take home boxes, which we found out later from the manager was a lie. We were grateful that finally, after many threats, the manager did come talk to us and was very nice and apologetic. However, the damage was done at that point and soured our experience the whole evening.

It was a great little bar. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant. Football and other sports were on the TVs. The selection of beer and spirits was huge, and all at reasonable prices.

Everything was perfect. The music, the atmosphere, the service, and the dishes were very tasty. Thank you so much for a great time!

I don't go to a pub to hear what feels like an entire concert by that weird Ed Sheeran. When I asked if there was any pub-friendly music, the staff replied, "It's a playlist because he was here and the owner is a fan of his!" Frank Rosin (Rosin's Restaurants) once said the following a while back: "The bait on the hook has to appeal to the fish, not the angler!" That evening, by the way, several guests were upset about this "song selection" – and not just us!

I was there for Ed Sheeran's The Old Phone pop-up. Nice bar :)

Very friendly service at the bar (in my case yesterday in English).

6 friends we went for karaoke. We put our songs on list and waited 1,5 hours for our turn to come. When the first song came 6 of us went to stage. However, later on since our songs were one after another one, the person who was in charge started to skipped our songs saying that we were already on the stage. We spent 3 hours and were able to sing 4 songs as a group of 6. Sorry to say but quite unsatisfying when you come a Friday evening to have fun with a group of friends. Disappointed with discrimination.

I was there on a Saturday. There are a lot of positive reviews online. It was too crowded for me. I had to wait about two hours for my turn to sing my karaoke song. The crowd, or rather the guests, were very unpleasant to me—that's how I imagine Ballermann 6 to be.

Good spare ribs at a good price, and a decent portion. Very friendly and courteous service, but mostly English-speaking. A quaint Irish atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Nice staff, cool basement in the 36 degrees celcius outside. Was just there for a short while cooling down before a consert, but it looks like what you'd want in an Irish bar in a random european city. Didn't hurt that the bartender was incredibly beautiful either.

First off, I had the spare ribs and they were very small. Tough and not very tasteful. Some of the worse ribs I had. I was quite jealous looking at the burgers my friends had ordered. They barely ever check in on your table if anyone needs more drinks. And then there is karaoke. They had the microphone at such a low volume. You might as well put it away as it was useless. Besides that, they were very obviously hand picking songs that the crowd would love. I was with a group of 10 nerds. All with disney songs, meme songs or classics. And we all had songs added to the queue. But decided to leave after not one of us got a turn in 2 hours....

MEGA Karaoke evening Thank you for everything

They advertise online that they're showing sporting events. I came twice for Formula 1, and twice it wasn't shown. When I asked the waitress if at least one TV could show Formula 1, she rudely replied, "No, Saturday is always karaoke." So why do they advertise it on their website? Never again.

Awesome place if Karaoke is your thing. Also the service was super good..drinks came super quick and the rates are nice. Camila was serving our table of 7 and she is one of the best.

Never again!!!! So outrageous. Despite personally reserving a table on-site, we weren't informed that the Champions League final would be shown on the evening we wanted, starting at 9 p.m. instead of a karaoke night. The owner, Patrick, wasn't interested in a customer-oriented solution. To every suggestion we made: - we come back later and join the karaoke night, or - we get our €70 deposit back, we received an arrogant NO. Thanks for the naughty hen party.

Visited O'Reilly's Irish Pub in Düsseldorf and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I was double-charged by mistake, attempted to contact them via email regarding this issue, but received no response or assistance. Customer service could definitely improve.

Today - 6:20 p.m. to 6:35 p.m. We sat down at the table, we were really hungry and thirsty, the restaurant was very empty, there were two guests in total, but we still weren't served. Two guests came into the pub and ordered at the counter after the waiter asked. Still no orders accepted. We left. It's a shame, we visit there often.

Nice pub, nice staff. The food tastes very good, but the price is not quite right. Beef'n Guinness is very tasty, but unfortunately the portion is far too small for the price.

At the beginning I was assured that everything had been agreed with the kitchen and everything would work, so I sat back, relaxed and waited. After more than an hour, the information suddenly comes: There are only chips and fries left. I'm sorry, what? This is not only disappointing, but simply disrespectful. If the kitchen can no longer prepare anything, then they say so right from the start and not after making me wait for over an hour. Communication is zero. It's not possible to treat guests like that. Definitely my last visit.

OReilly's is a staple for Irishness and always appreciated. Food was bar food but beer, location and atmosphere great.

We attended the first Music Bingo at O'Reilly's on Thursday, and it was an absolute blast! The event was well-organized, and the hosts did a fantastic job of getting the crowd engaged. It was the perfect way to spend the evening after work. Thank you for an amazing night and the delicious Guinness and Kilkenny. We'll definitely be back!

Were yesterday, March 15th. Sing there for karaoke. This time we stayed upstairs for karaoke instead of Inden Keller to avoid the DJ from last time. He deleted our selected songs or pushed them so far back that they weren't displayed and then made fun of us on stage when we swapped names. Unfortunately this DJ was upstairs yesterday and my girlfriend's two songs didn't show up at all. This approach is simply outrageous and cannot be tolerated. It's really a shame.

Went in to watch the Leeds United match with little expectation they would put it on for us, but they did. We had some fantastic pub food, with great service. Top marks

Great wee terrace on a sunny street. Very nice guy working who opened the terrace early for a group of us just visiting town for the day. We didn’t eat there as the kitchen wasn’t opened yet but the welcome and bit of craic we had with barman was great and I will definitely look them up next time in Düsseldorf.

Food and drinks were good. A little waiting time. Complaints were dealt with to the fullest satisfaction

Be sure to reserve a table in advance to secure a good spot. The Guinness beer is top-notch, and the nachos are a perfect snack while enjoying the game. Well worth a visit when you're in the Altstadt.

We reserved a table online for the Superbowl, which I confirmed by phone and again on site. Just before half time we were asked to pay as the store would be closing shortly. Service and food/drink in an authentic atmosphere was okay, but THAT. GOES. EVEN. NOT. Either I inform the guests in advance that the entire game will not be shown, or I don't offer it at all. In both cases we would have stopped somewhere else and eaten something there. So thank you very much for an unforgettable evening.

We went to this Irish Pub with a group of friends to watch the Super Bowl, as they advertised on their website that they would be showing the game. However, to our great disappointment, they closed at halftime! This was extremely frustrating, as we specifically chose this location for the event. If a venue promotes an event like the Super Bowl, it should be clear about its actual opening hours. Closing in the middle of the game without prior notice is unacceptable and left us scrambling for an alternative at the last minute. Very disappointing experience — would not recommend for watching major sporting events!

We celebrated a birthday and were super happy! Very friendly staff and extremely competent and customer-friendly manager. Thank you very much, it was a great evening with you, we would love to come back.

Breakfast for €15.90 is a joke!! Guinness on the menu as a pint (0.56l) €7.20; in a glass 0.5l!! This is how you can cheat customers and make money.

The menu has been changed and unfortunately the quality of the food has suffered. I suspect that there is now more emphasis on drinks, but unfortunately this means that classic cuisine is neglected in favor of “pub grub”. It's a shame, because cold fish 'n chips aren't tasty. And the O’Reillys burger is missing, as is cole slaw. Not again...

Was a great place to have a beer and watch football but had recently changed ownership and I am so impressed with how well the new management has improved the entire venue. Well done to the new crew, you’ve done a great job. For and beer is worth a visit.

Staggered onto this little Irish pub on the way to xmas markets. We only had hot chocolate and coffee but liked the look of it.

Lovely Irish pub! Stopped in for a pint and it had such a nice outdoor area, super cosy and comfortable indoor area. The pub is in a quieter part of the city centre so is nice if you want to get away from that for a while!Staff are super welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you're looked after!

Table for 6 people reserved online for dining. Received what is shown in the picture. It was specifically stated online that it was my mother's birthday. When we arrived I looked confused at the table assignment. Didn't fit front and back for 6 people to eat. It would have been ideal for drinks... Asked several times if there was anything bigger. Explanation: if you reserve, the confirmation is no guarantee that you will get the place (!). When I asked why I should make a reservation, I was told that the reservation could also be canceled by the restaurant and that I could be content with that. If we don't take the table, it will be occupied by someone else This arrogance was too much for us Thank you *irony* for the great birthday present to my mother!!!

Been there before and was satisfied. This time my friends had reserved a table for several people to eat the day before. Don't be a problem. When we arrived we said, let's see if something becomes available for you. Huh? Ok, he noticed the questioning look and then assigned us a table that was far too small for our hungry group. After that, you just shrug your shoulders like “it’s crowded here, you’re out of luck”. Okay, we say goodbye.

Tried the fries, Guiness and cider and loved all of it. Service was very nice and forthcoming and we also had a lot of fun during karaoke.

Had a delicious burger. Service was very friendly, but unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. You have to wait a little longer for food and drinks.

Actually, I've always had great experiences, hence the 3 stars and nothing less, because: The store seems to have stopped running for a few weeks now. Everything seems very unstructured and chaotic, so you sometimes have to wait an extremely long time for your order. The staff is super nice and also seems super hard working, so don't get me wrong. Because of the experience of the last few weeks, unfortunately only 3 stars.

We didn't eat anything and were there on a Saturday evening. Karaoke was the order of the day. It was very funny... Only English-speaking service 🤣 So if you don't speak the language, you really have a problem 🤣

Decent food, price was okay but service was a bit slow.

Menu as a qr code with a link is ok, but the fact that there is a PDF for download and not just a normal website is completely stupid.

A terrible place. Completely ignorant waitress and DJ. We were treated condescendingly. The music and the sound were subterranean. Been going to O Reillys for many years but have never been treated so badly, especially by the replacement DJ. They really forgot how a customer is treated.
