I just left Opera Gourmet and I’m honestly impressed. The ingredients are top-notch, and you can really taste the passion and skill in every dish. It feels like a little corner of real Italy right here in Munich, and that’s something truly special.

The quality of all the food is truly excellent, and the drinks too, especially the mixed drinks, are really well-mixed. The outdoor dining area on the street is very tastefully and stylishly designed; it's really bearable here. You do have to endure it for a while, because yesterday there were unfortunately too few staff, and we had to wait one and a half to two hours for the pizza, which naturally upset some guests and spoiled the overall impression. We ourselves were lucky with the wait, but of course we heard the complaints from other guests, which wasn't so nice. A tip for the restaurant owner: if there are too few staff, at least don't accept the food delivery orders that day and seat fewer people at the tables—you just have to adapt capacity to resources; then it would certainly have been less stressful. And one more tip: if guests have to wait so long, they should also offer them a drink as a thank you; that would be a quality of hospitality that was still missing. BUT, just based on the quality and friendliness of the service staff, I would definitely come back and try it again. We had a lovely evening there, anyway.

Hands down one of the best if not the best pizza in Munich! Absolutely tasty and you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The dough alone is fluffy and tasteful yet has a nice crisp to it, and the high hydration dough menu might not be your traditional pizza you are used to yet it is a culinary experience that is worth trying. Went more than once and never disappoints. There is for sure more on the menu than just Pizza. Dessert is delicious and definitely not to be missed. Place although small yet elegantly put together. I would recommend calling or simply booking online to guarantee a place before going but they are accommodating nonetheless. Everyone is kind, friendly and makes you feel welcome. One thing to add, for being in Munich and what you pay…you definitely get High quality for the price and yet still better than many overpriced and hyped places in the city. Pizzas are good to very good. Quality is right. Presentation too. Unfortunately, the ambience is a bit chic and the music is tasteless, but even that wouldn't be a reason to avoid the store. Which is definitely a reason for me not to come anymore... When the waitress at the other end of the restaurant talks about my outfit and doesn't notice that I can clearly understand every word. If the jacket of a tracksuit isn't nice enough for your store, then I don't have to leave my money with you. Saluti dal tipo con lo stile "balcanico" 😘

I visited the Opera restaurant and absolutely loved it! The pizza was simply outstanding - the dough was thin and crispy, the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. We particularly recommend the Margherita, which was simply unforgettable with its aromatic basil and delicious tomato sauce. The ambience of the restaurant is also impressive. It has a very cozy and stylish atmosphere, perfect for both a romantic dinner and a meeting with friends. The decor is modern but at the same time inviting and warm. The service was very friendly and attentive. The staff looked after us well without being intrusive. All questions were answered patiently and waiting times were pleasantly short. Overall it was an all around great experience. I can only warmly recommend Opera and will definitely come back

When ordering we were asked if we wanted a regular or focaccia pizza and I chose the regular one. Unfortunately, a focaccia pizza was brought and when I commented that I had ordered a normal one, they just said that it was better instead of offering to bring me my actual order.

We spent here the most amazing Valentine’s Day! The restaurant made it special by having a special 5 cuisine set menu and lovely decoration. The food was so delicious and good looking, we will remember it forever! The staff was also very friendly and nice!

We had a wonderful evening! The staff is great and the pizza is fantastic. In my opinion, the soil in particular is the best in Munich. The starters are also highly recommended, we had Vitello Tonnato and a beef tartare. Both are interpreted in a modern way and are simply delicious. Gladly again!

I discovered this restaurant by chance and have been there twice this week. I think it has become my favorite Italian😍. When you enter, you are warmly welcomed by the waitress and surprised with a delicious greeting from the kitchen. The pizzas are all very different and taste so good, you can tell the high quality of the ingredients. I can only recommend the Primitivo from Abruzzo.👌🏽

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. Particularly noteworthy is the well-selected wine list, which offers something for every taste. The dishes were all delicious, and the signature dish – fried pizza dough with various toppings – was an interesting and creative idea. Admittedly, there is a lot of dough, but if you leave out half of it, the flavor of the toppings comes out perfectly. All in all a great experience – we will definitely be back!

Great service, the food was spectacular. We ordered beer and water, a mushroom scramble with burrata and truffle (menu of the week), a risotto (menu of the week), San Daniele pizza and a tiramisu. Everything was fantastic, for €83 for two people. A little expensive but it was totally worth it, the incomparable flavors, good portions and everything very well cooked.

Here you can eat crudi - raw seafood/fish! Wooow. The shrimp tartare is to die for! The frittura is so well made - I've eaten much worse in Italy. We haven't tried pizzas yet because the other dishes are so great, but these also looked great at the neighboring tables. Absolute favorite Italian. Great wines and the boss is simply a super friendly restaurateur with excellent specialist knowledge! We come to this gastro pearl at least once a month! :-)

A lovely little high end pizza pasta restaurant. Definitely NOT your standard “pizzeria” with 50 pizzas. This place lives up to its name of being a gourmet pizza place. Two different types of pizza dough used. The toppings are fancy and delicious. Super friendly staff. You even get to see the cook smiling and having a good time in the kitchen. Always a good sign of a well managed restaurant. We look forward to coming here more often!

This place is definitely our new favorite Italian in the town. It was amazing from the moment we stepped in. Waiter greeted us with a big smile :) Atmosphere, service and food was exceptional. I do not know maybe it is only me but I like restaurants when their kitchen is transparent for guests. Which is the case at Opera Pizza Gourmet. It is giving me comfort as a guest. We had carpaccio, pizza and wine. Prices are good for this quality. Even cheap I would say maybe. We will definitely come back to enjoy rest of the delicacies.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Staff is extremely professional to start with. The manager is beyond cordial (he’s native from my same region, I bet!) and he runs this aesthetically pleasant place like a pro. They use excellent products directly from a farm in Italy. Quality is guaranteed. Pizza is truly gourmet, the dough is made with three different flours so the puddle is not heavy and the ingredients mix perfectly. The variety of food and drinks respect our tradition and prove our unique skills. Go for this authentic Italian place. They’re stellar!

Just perfect! You can tell in every detail how much passion was put into this great, fine restaurant. Be sure to try the appetizers. My boyfriend and I went to this place on New Year's Eve, what can I say, the owner (and all the staff!) were a fantastic person, very kind, even though we had only ordered 2 pizzas instead of the New Year's Eve menu they welcomed us in an impeccable manner , like at home. The pizza is something divine, much better than many pizzerias here in Italy, really quality ingredients and super digestible dough! Good luck for this beautiful new place, if we return to Munich we will definitely come back here!

Die Pizza wurde nach Hause geliefert, daher kann ich Service und Ambiente nicht beurteilen. Die Pizza (sh. Foto) war allerdings eine Katastrophe. Belag einmal komplett von der Pizza gerutscht, kalt und der Karton triefend nass von der Tomatensauce. Mit Abstand die schlechteste Pizza die mir je geliefert wurde. Und der Salat ist btw. ebenfalls eine Frechheit. Rauke eingeweicht in Essig und Öl. Ciao!

Kleines aber sehr feines und modernes restaurant. Der flufigste Pizzateig den ich jemals gegessen habe, dazu die frischen Zutaten umrundenten ein faszinierendes Pizzaerlebnis.Auf dem selben hohen Niveau befinden sich auch andere Gerichte wie Pasta und Fleisch. Abgekröhnt wurde das ganze mit den Desserts wie z.B das "Quartett bigné".

Wir sind mit sehr hohen Erwartungen ins Opera gegangen, da wir es wärmstens empfohlen bekommen haben. Der erste Eindruck war sehr gut, stilvoll eingerichtet, schönes, besonders Besteck, den Namen in die Gläser gravieren lassen, echt schön!! Auch die Karte hatte ihren "WOW" Effekt. Tolle ausgefallene Pizzen und sonstige Gerichte. Der Service war leider etwas "lahm", zu lange Wartezeiten bis er kam, Weinkarte vergessen, keine Weinempfehlung und keine Reaktion auf die Kritik, was das Essen betraf. So nun zum Essen: die Lachstaccos waren OK, aber nichts Besonderes, der gegrillte Oktopus war leider zum einen nicht fertig gekocht, zum anderen verbrannt und schwarz. Die Hauptspeisen waren sehr gut - Pizza und einmal Pasta. Das Tiramisu mussten wir leider zurück gehen lassen, da es in der Mitte noch gefroren war. Alles in allem kann man einen schönen Abend dort verbringen, wenn man nicht die 4,9 Sterne Bewertung bei Google als Maßstab nimmt.
