Opera Pizza Gourmet in München

I'm going to the Opera for the first time tonight. I was thrilled with the food and even more so with the service. My friend B is the best ever and I'll be back!

These guys are fantastic. Super cute, super friendly, super authentic! The pizza is amazing, and so are the steaks! It's the perfect place for girls and guys to go together because the guys get a steak, and the girls get everything with vegetables—super creative, light, and delicious. The staff is always ready to meet you wherever you are. You feel right at home.

We went for dinner seven months after our last visit. The atmosphere in the place has changed dramatically; it feels more like a kebab shop. It's no longer our favorite gourmet Italian restaurant, and the service is terrible. I don't understand if the "waiter" is also the owner, since he spent the whole evening eating and drinking, sitting at a table with one person, between bringing a dish and a drink. If the previous owner sold to foreigners, he made a mistake. The supposed waiter shouts into the phone, shouts in Arabic in the kitchen at the pizza chef (also Arab), and is too arrogant. It's not possible to have dinner with the waiter sitting down to eat. . The whole thing has lost the charm of Italian cuisine.

Excellent pizza. The service and location are significantly more upscale than the price would suggest (you can certainly spend more if you want, but they also offer food at a normal price). The service was exceptionally good.

Due to Wolt's mistake, there was no option to add extra ingredients, and they were kind enough to add them themselves. I'm sorry I couldn't afford the extra fee, but you were truly kind. We ate there last night for my birthday... what can I say, wonderful! I tried the veal with tuna sauce and was amazed by the harmony of the flavors and the delicacy on the palate. Next up was the fried fish, crispy, not greasy, and delicious. To finish off, the tiramisu... really good! Excellent service; the guy who looked after us throughout this experience was truly kind, thoughtful, and friendly, and when we left, he helped me put on my coat! What can I say... we'll definitely be back this time to try the pizza; just looking at it makes me hungry.

I don't know if it was just a bad day or if it's always like this, but unfortunately we had a really bad experience. The pizza was soggy and the service was really rude. I definitely can't recommend it.

Top service very attentive, top food super quality

Unfortunately, the only waiter (with the short bun/ponytail) ruined our evening! Rude, rude replies, unfriendly gestures, and, last but not least, not even a thank you or eye contact after we paid the tip! The food was expensive but very tasty, and the service was also poor; we had to ask the waiter to come over after each dish to order and clear the table. We won't be coming again!

The dough is very good and special, even if the products are excellent the prices are very high, more than 20 euros for a pizza I find excessive, recommended if you want to try something new

Amazing pizza und service was friendly, calm atmosphere

It was one of our favorite places in Munich, where we always enjoyed returning. Unfortunately, this year, just three months later, we noticed a marked deterioration. The waits became incredibly long, even just for a pizza, while in the meantime we saw numerous takeout orders. The attention to detail in the dishes also declined, and overall the quality of the dishes seemed lower than in the past. We returned a second time, hoping that the previous evening had been just an unfortunate exception. Unfortunately, things didn't go any better: the cannoli, which has always been my favorite dessert and the highlight of the dinner, was a huge disappointment. The ricotta was lumpy and unpleasant. I'm sorry to have to leave such a review, but I hope it will be taken as constructive criticism to improve and, perhaps, return to the quality of the past.

Coming to Munich and eating pizza better than in Italy is an experience I've been missing! Super chic place, attentive, kind, and professional staff. The best gourmet pizza I've ever had, light and fragrant dough, you can tell they've taken meticulous care in selecting the ingredients. A true work of art!

A year ago: "Really good" Unfortunately, a little less so on yesterday's visit. Still 5 stars overall - but a year ago, the food was truly overwhelmingly good - and it's still good now - but not the same experience.

Having lived in Milan for a couple of years, I'd long been familiar with the concept of gourmet pizza. It doesn't seem to be very common in Munich, so I already appreciated the idea. The place is in a good area with very pleasant lighting. The guy who greeted me was very friendly and helpful, but the waiter, a little less so. The music was too loud and unsuitable, the decor a bit nouveau riche and pseudo-refined, but unsuccessful. Anyway, tastes matter... All in all, the experience wasn't one to repeat. There are cocktails and wines to accompany it, but the beer list was very basic. The Ichnusa I chose wasn't cold enough. Let's move on to the pizzas: They use a fior di latte cheese, not from Agerola but from Abruzzo, which I've never heard of, but hand-cut. The tomato on the red pizza was balanced and good, even if they didn't give you the producer's name. The buffalo mozzarella is from Battipaglia, but they add it after cooking, which isn't stated anywhere. Overall, the choice of ingredients (at least on our pizzas) seemed a bit too artificial and not geared towards the overall result, which wasn't pleasant at all. I also find the fact that they serve an amuse-bouche before the pizza a bit excessive. It's okay, but it needs to be more appetizing; they might as well not do it. The decisive and most disappointing thing was the dough. Nowhere is it written how many hours it rises, and that, unfortunately, was a factor. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't easily digestible. We eat Neapolitan pizza almost every week and have never had such an indigestible dough in years: a real shame, and for that price and considering the competition from other pizzerias in the area, it's unacceptable. Furthermore, the dough was oily, which also indicates something's wrong. The flours aren't listed, but I don't think they're Caputo. Finally, about desserts: We chose a tiramisu, which was good. The presentation was too contemporary and deliberate for our tastes, but the tiramisu was well-made. The coffee was average, but definitely not Neapolitan. If they use a lever machine, you need to purge it before making the coffee. This wasn't done, as the coffee, unfortunately, had an aftertaste of stale coffee. The prices are quite high, but still in line with those in Monaco. The Margherita is reasonably priced. However, this doesn't reflect the quality of the pizza or the friendliness of the service. We won't be returning.

But as someone who has worked in luxury restaurants myself, I can guarantee that they more than know their craft and take Italian pizza to the next level in terms of taste. The quality of all the food is truly excellent, and the drinks too, especially the mixed drinks, are really well-mixed. The outdoor dining area on the street is very tastefully and stylishly designed; it's really bearable here. You do have to endure it for a while, because yesterday there were unfortunately too few staff, and we had to wait one and a half to two hours for the pizza, which naturally upset some guests and spoiled the overall impression. We ourselves were lucky with the wait, but of course we heard the complaints from other guests, which wasn't so nice. A tip for the restaurant owner: if there are too few staff, at least don't accept the food delivery orders that day and seat fewer people at the tables—you just have to adapt capacity to resources; then it would certainly have been less stressful. And one more tip: if guests have to wait so long, they should also offer them a drink as a thank you; that would be a quality of hospitality that was still missing. BUT, just based on the quality and friendliness of the service staff, I would definitely come back and try it again. We had a lovely evening there, anyway.

Hands down one of the best if not the best pizza in Munich! Absolutely tasty and you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The dough alone is fluffy and tasteful yet has a nice crisp to it, and the high hydration dough menu might not be your traditional pizza you are used to yet it is a culinary experience that is worth trying. Went more than once and never disappoints. There is for sure more on the menu than just Pizza. Dessert is delicious and definitely not to be missed. Place although small yet elegantly put together. I would recommend calling or simply booking online to guarantee a place before going but they are accommodating nonetheless. Everyone is kind, friendly and makes you feel welcome. One thing to add, for being in Munich and what you pay…you definitely get High quality for the price and yet still better than many overpriced and hyped places in the city. Pizzas are good to very good. Quality is right. Presentation too. Unfortunately, the ambience is a bit chic and the music is tasteless, but even that wouldn't be a reason to avoid the store. Which is definitely a reason for me not to come anymore... When the waitress at the other end of the restaurant talks about my outfit and doesn't notice that I can clearly understand every word. If the jacket of a tracksuit isn't nice enough for your store, then I don't have to leave my money with you. Saluti dal tipo con lo stile "balcanico" 😘

When ordering we were asked if we wanted a regular or focaccia pizza and I chose the regular one. Unfortunately, a focaccia pizza was brought and when I commented that I had ordered a normal one, they just said that it was better instead of offering to bring me my actual order.

We spent here the most amazing Valentine’s Day! The restaurant made it special by having a special 5 cuisine set menu and lovely decoration. The food was so delicious and good looking, we will remember it forever! The staff was also very friendly and nice!

We had a wonderful evening! The staff is great and the pizza is fantastic. In my opinion, the soil in particular is the best in Munich. The starters are also highly recommended, we had Vitello Tonnato and a beef tartare. Both are interpreted in a modern way and are simply delicious. Gladly again!

I discovered this restaurant by chance and have been there twice this week. I think it has become my favorite Italian😍. When you enter, you are warmly welcomed by the waitress and surprised with a delicious greeting from the kitchen. The pizzas are all very different and taste so good, you can tell the high quality of the ingredients. I can only recommend the Primitivo from Abruzzo.👌🏽

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. Particularly noteworthy is the well-selected wine list, which offers something for every taste. The dishes were all delicious, and the signature dish – fried pizza dough with various toppings – was an interesting and creative idea. Admittedly, there is a lot of dough, but if you leave out half of it, the flavor of the toppings comes out perfectly. All in all a great experience – we will definitely be back!

Great service, the food was spectacular. We ordered beer and water, a mushroom scramble with burrata and truffle (menu of the week), a risotto (menu of the week), San Daniele pizza and a tiramisu. Everything was fantastic, for €83 for two people. A little expensive but it was totally worth it, the incomparable flavors, good portions and everything very well cooked.
