Onni in Lübeck

Despite having a reservation, we stayed at Onni at relatively short notice. We wanted to eat there too often because our daughter loves Korean cuisine. The reception and placement were very friendly. The menu is not overloaded, so there is something for every taste. The dishes were all consistently excellent. We would love to come back and can highly recommend Onni. Thank you.

I always enjoy going to Onni, but now for the first time for dinner. We were able to get the last table by calling, but without a reservation I would only recommend it for lunch. Unfortunately, we sat right by the door and that was pretty cold, especially since the service staff constantly had to run into the separate adjoining room. Otherwise the door is protected by a curtain so that less cold air comes in. Normally the service is very attentive, but we had someone new that evening and we had to ask several times. But the food made up for it - the large mixed plates were really a highlight, and the starters in particular were very tasty.

I really liked going to onni. I didn't expect much, but it was definitely worth going! Starting with the service; they were really nice and courteous. I wasn't quite familiar with the Korean dishes, but they were really helpful when I asked about them. So now the food: I had a vegan Bibimbap and a Miso soup (also vegan). Both of them tasted really good. However, I would mostly recommend you to go with the Bibimbap!! I think for newbies like me, the dish would be the best choice to start engaging with the Korean kitchen! Also, I didn't order a drink because I wasn't quite sure which one I would like to choose but I had a free drink to try, which was also really nice from them! Lastly, the atmosphere: Onni isn't a big restaurant, but they managed to give it a nice charm! The music is really nice and fits well with onni and the lights + the decorations make the little restaurant look very charming! The people that I saw also seemed to be very friendly, and like I said, the service there is really nice as well! I hope I'll be able to go there once again. 너무 맛있어요!! 10/10 would recommend!

Although it is a Korean restaurant, the atmosphere does not look like a Korean restaurant at all and there are no Korean-speaking employees. It feels a bit expensive since the prices for dishes and side dishes are separate, but that feeling disappears once you try the food. There is a lot of kimchi in the kimchi stew, and the side dishes are so plentiful and tasty that they are worth the extra cost.

The fried cauliflower was absolutely delicious - I am now officially a cauliflower convert - and the kimchi side was also excellent. The worst part about this place is that it's not in my hometown!

We love this Korean food place in the city of Lübeck!! We had a veggie Bibimpbap which was served on a hot stove pan and it tasted amazing 😍 Definitely a must do when craving for Korean delicious food!

I went alone for the first time. It was after early lunch time but the restaurant still had quit a lot of ppl eating there. I went in and I immediately got greeted, sat down and received a menu. Service came, got my order ^spoke fabulous English and was even up for a quick chit chat. On top she didn’t wrote down any of my oder. At first I thought that’s maybe bc I’m alone and didn’t had any special needs or questions but I saw the she even took orders with 5 people on the table without any booking devices. Really just amazing! I eat a kimchi stew what sadly was a bit westernized but i would still say it was quite good Went with my friends on a Tuesday afternoon there again to show them a great new place. what I didn’t expect was that the restaurant was full. Seems like reservations are necessary when u’r eating around 7pm We still got a table, the same friendly service from my last visit sat us down. She remember not only my face she even remembered my whole order and asked if I would like to eat the same or if I would like to eat a recommendation. Honestly I was to stunned to speak whatever their requirements are to work there, I surely don’t have them. Her recommendation was on point. We eat Spicy pork, tofu stew and 2 bibimbabs ofc no tipping or writing down of our order only a smile and a thank you. We all was so amazed by her whole performance, that we only realized later after receiving our drinks that my friends were ordering in Korean. Did she understand? Is she Korean ? She’s probably half Korean ? Did she really remembered everything what we ordered? She indeed did remembered everything! so to sum it up: food was delicious! And service was top tier, super friendly super calm everything was just spotless! We are thankful for this wonderful evening 감사합니다 지나야~!

The food here is really incredibly delicious. It is only topped by the very friendly and extremely qualified service. I would particularly like to highlight Rae and Sina, who gave me a wonderful evening with extremely dedicated service. You can sit wonderfully both outside and inside and have a wonderful ambience. For me it is without question one of the best restaurants in all of Lübeck.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect, without exception. The decor is simple but very attractive, the service is friendly, and the food is exceptionally good. After some disappointments at other restaurants in Lübeck, I was very positively surprised this time and would be happy to come back.

We were there in the afternoon and had a delicious meal. All four dishes were very good and authentic. Everything was great and the service was extremely warm and great.

A small and fine Korean restaurant in downtown Lübeck. The rooms and the ambience still have potential for improvement (mainly due to the very limited room capacity). The seating is quite cramped and unfortunately - when the restaurant is full - it is quite loud. The service is extremely good, quick and very friendly. The food is very good! Delicious, well-seasoned and sometimes beautifully spicy delicacies that stand out from the usual monotony of the Asian culinary mainstream (Chinese restaurants, sushi shops, etc.). Short and sweet: If you like Asian cuisine and would like to try something different, “Onni” is highly recommended. Special recommendation: Bibim Bap (for 2) -> see photo. But somehow everything that Onni has on the menu is delicious.

Super attentive and nice service; The ladies also gave us very friendly advice, answered questions and were joking. We sat outside and were offered blankets because it was getting quite chilly 👍 There are also cocktails and lots of vegan dishes. We had the kimchi pancake as a starter and it was the tastiest thing I've eaten in a long time! So incredibly good that I'll just get it every now and then from now on! Absolute recommendation! 😍 I also recommend the Bibim Bap Tofu with the apple-chilli sauce and the refreshing homemade lemonade ♥️

We were impressed by the friendly and customer-oriented service as well as the authentic Korean food 😋 The ambience is simple but appropriate. All in all, this is a great restaurant if you want to stop strolling through the city at lunchtime and recharge your batteries.

On July 31, 2024, my colleagues and I had dinner at Onni. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. The food, which none of us knew yet, was explained very well and tasted great. At short notice we were able to get space outside for 15 people, which is certainly not common in the summer months. The atmosphere at Onni is great. Thank you for this great evening👍

The taste is truly authentic and reminiscent of the culinary delights one would experience directly in Korea. The homemade kimchi is particularly impressive, with its freshness and perfect spice. The quality of the food is consistently very high and every meal is a real culinary delight. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome from the first minute. The selection of exotic dishes is diverse and offers something special for every taste. I can highly recommend ONNI and look forward to my next visit!

The service gets 6 stars - I have rarely received such friendly service as I did here. Really authentic, honest, friendly and everything else was great too. My tempura cauliflower (as I found out later) had a super tasty sauce, plus a whole selection of side dishes, all of which tasted very tasty and interesting. 100% recommendation!

The food was delicious and attractively prepared. Unfortunately, I was missing dishes that Korea is famous for, namely seafood. The bulgogi seemed cooked instead of grilled. Therefore one star deducted. The service was very attentive.

I was here with my partner when the restaurant was empty. This gave you a particularly good chance to simply absorb the ambience and relax. It's a compact store with an incredible amount of character. The menu is full of delicacies, all prepared with love and finesse. There is something for everybody. I would love to come back!

It was our first time there and we felt comfortable, the staff was very friendly. But the killer was the waiter, there were five of us and we ordered starters, drinks and a main course, all of which were different of course. The waiter didn't write anything down, which seemed very strange to us, and everything was correct, he was even able to assign everything correctly, We were very happy with our selection and will go there again

So I can't represent it better than the stars. My friend and I came all the way from Bremen and had been wanting to eat here for a long time. What can I say, it was absolutely worth the wait. If you like Korean, you will love Onni. It is quite small and you should reserve in advance, but the selection of food is good and, above all, fresh. The clientele is rather young, but families can also be found here.

Leckere, koreanische Speisen in kleinem, aber angenehmen Lokal. Die Portionen sind eher üppig, so dass man bei nicht so großem Appetit vielleicht auf die Vorspeise verzichten sollte. Alles sehr schön angerichtet und freundlich serviert!

Modernly furnished Korean restaurant with super delicious dishes (also vegan!). We had kimchi as a starter, the vegan main course with cauliflower and bibim bap with tofu from the lunch menu. The service was excellent. Clear recommendation!

Really really delicious!!! We had Bibim Bap Chicken for the main course. First there was mandu and banchan (cucumber salad, kimchi and black beans).

Went there today with our 7 year old son to eat sushi or to be inspired with something new. Unfortunately there was no sushi on the menu like there used to be. So our child couldn't find anything else. When I asked to explain the dishes I chose, they only explained it sparingly. Unfortunately, the menu doesn't offer much, choosing something without a picture is extremely difficult, especially if you've never had Korean food before. The neighboring table was also so extremely loud that we couldn't understand our own words, and we could also hear the conversations of the tables at the other end well. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything, the service wasn't very ambitious in explaining things to us or offering alternatives. When we googled the restaurant, a few things that looked delicious appeared. He just counted off in rows - we don't have that anymore, we don't have that anymore, not exactly that either. So very limited and fluctuating card unfortunately. We left after drinks.

Sooo, we were there to celebrate getting my driver's license and unfortunately we were totally disappointed... We ordered two main courses. The tempura mix was just sad... I don't know what we expected but not that... You can see what was on the plate... unfortunately it was also completely bland, the food had virtually no taste, there wasn't a grain of salt or anything like that (maybe it's like that with Korean dishes?🤷🏼‍♀️) and then 25 euros for that?! The dish with the “chicken schnitzel” also cost just under 20 euros... So all in all, the most positive thing about the store is the super friendly staff. But the prices are simply not justified at all. We paid a little over 60 euros for the dishes plus drinks

For my birthday I reserved a table for 5 p.m. for 4 people. Shortly after 6 p.m. we were told that they had the next reservation at 6:30 p.m. and we were welcome to eat in peace, but we just had to hurry. WOW! This is really my first time experiencing this. I've never experienced anything like that in Germany or other countries, honestly 😑😑😑 Nothing was mentioned about the time limit when making the reservation. I just have no words, you'll just be thrown out 🫠 So the shop is a no-go for me forever, I'll never eat there again on principle. The term * customer orientation * is not known in this store. Incompetent, unprofessional, inhumane.

Sehr gemütliches Lokal mit leckerem koreanischen Essen. Das Restaurant hat neben dem Hauptraum noch einen Nebenraum, in dem gespeist werden kann. Hier ist es schön ruhig und die Bedienung kam auch regelmäßig vorbei, um nach dem Rechten zu sehen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, allerdings ist der Raum bei den kalten Außentemperaturen nur sehr langsam warm geworden. Dafür hat der Kimchi-Eintopf sehr schön von innen gewärmt und hatte eine gute Schärfe.

Ich habe schon oft koreanisch gegessen und mich während meines Urlaubs auf koreanisches Essen gefreut. Leider hatte das für mich nichts damit zu tun. Das Essen war genießbar, aber weder scharf noch habe ich bekannte Aromen wiederfinden können. Die typische Tteokbokki Soße war es nicht und im (kleinen) kimchijeon habe ich kein kimchi schmeken könnnen. Das Personal war nett aber nicht häufig bei uns, da wir im Nebenraum saßen. Die Preise waren ebenfalls für die Menge an Essen viel zu teuer.

Wir haben schon letztes Jahr bei unseren ersten Besuch das Onni glücklich und zufrieden verlassen . Der Service ist freundlich und erklärt auf Fragen gerne alles. Auch heute war alles zu unser vollen Zufriedenheit. Lecker, lecker und nochmals lecker. Immer wieder ein Highlight wenn wir zu Besuch in Lübeck sind. Danke 😊

Sehr stilvoll und gleichzeitig schlicht eingerichteter Koreaner. Der Service ist hervorragend und gab uns noch ein paar Infos zu den bestellten Gerichten. Diese haben super geschmeckt und waren authentisch zubereitet. Wir hatten Bibimbap mit Rind und Udon-Nudeln mit Scampi. Mit den 2 Saucen auf dem Tisch (Chili und Soja) kann man sich alles nach seinem Geschmack selbst würzen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ein nettes kleines Restaurant mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern und Mitarbeiterinnen. Das Essen war zu unserer Überraschung sehr Lecker und auch die Portionsgröße war überdurchschnittlich groß. Ich hatte ebenfalls die Ingwer Hauslimonade welche nicht zu süß war und ebenfalls gut. Ich kann nur empfehlen hier zu Essen. Keine langen Wartezeiten und einen Tisch haben wir auch direkt bekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Lokal war an einem Mittwoch komplett ausgebucht und trotzdem war der Service überhaupt nicht gestresst. Im Gegenteil, unsere Bedienung war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und das Essen kam schnell auf den Tisch. Mir hat es super gefallen, dass man große Mixteller bestellen konnte, um möglichst viel zu probieren. Alles war toll gewürzt und ansprechend. Der Fokus liegt nicht so sehr auf dem Fleisch, was mir persönlich gut gefällt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in Lübeck sind!

Wir waren von Service und den Gerichten einfach nur begeistert. Klare Empfehlung für den Kartoffelsalat und das Spicy Pork. Auch lecker die Limonaden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben kürzlich das koreanische Restaurant Onni besucht. Das Personal war äußerst professionell und aufmerksam, was unseren Besuch sehr angenehm gestaltet hat. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend, mit authentischem Geschmack und frischen Zutaten. Die Portionen waren groß, was grundsätzlich positiv ist. Allerdings empfanden wir, dass es für den Preis etwas wenig Fleisch in den Gerichten gab, was unsere Erfahrung leicht beeinträchtigte. Zusätzlich waren die Tische im Restaurant sehr eng angeordnet, was die Möglichkeit zur ruhigen Unterhaltung beeinträchtigte, da die Gespräche vom Nachbartisch leicht zu hören waren. Diese beiden Punkte waren die einzigen kleinen Abstriche während unseres Besuchs. PS: Wir empfehlen, im Voraus zu reservieren.

Spannende Auswahl, auch unter den veganen Speisen. Sehr leckeres Essen, besonders der zarte Blumenkohl. Angenehmes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, und die Portionen machen gut satt. Gasträume elegant, nur etwas beengt und kühl, aber trotzdem komfortabel. Wird auf jeden Fall nochmal besucht.

Kleines koreanisches Restaurant in Lübeck. Das Restaurant teilt sich in zwei Innenbereiche und dem Außenbereich. Wir haben ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Die Servicemitarbeiter waren nett und immer zur Stelle. Das Essen und die Getränke waren lecker. Die Speisekarte gab es in Papierform und als QR Code.

Nett gelegenes und unscheinbares Restaurant mit einer ausgewogenen Speisekarte der asiatischen Küche. Essen war sehr lecker, guter und sympathischer Service. Gute und ausreichende Portionen für ein Mittagstisch mit vernünftigen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder. Es war sehr lecker und alles wurde aufgegessen.

Ein ansprechender Lunch (mittlerweile dritter Besuch zur Mittagszeit) mit abwechslungsreichen Angeboten für den Freund der koreanischen Küche. Nicht nur die Gerichte, sondern auch die selbst gemachte Limonade ist (gerade zur heißen Jahreszeit) sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten Mittagstisch hier mit Bibim Bap - einmal mit Rindfleisch und einmal mit Hühnchen - sehr lecker und die Schärfe lässt sich mit der Chilli-Sauce natürlich selbst bestimmen. Dazu gab es Minz-Limonaden und zum Dessert Matcha-und auch Sesam-Eis - auch dies hervorragend. Der Sevice war sehr freundlich/angenehm und zügig. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch in Lübeck.

Spontan habe ich in diesem netten Lokal einen Mittagsteller mit Reis, Gemüse und Rindfleisch genossen. Der Service war ausserordentlich nett und zuvorkommend - echt toll! Der Reisteller war gut, hätte für meinen Geschmack noch etwas "mehr Pepp" haben dürfen. Auf jeden Fall würde ich hier auch mal ein Abendessen "à la carte" ausprobieren. Preislich sehr fair! EUR 18 für Essen + Limonade.

Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte bestellt und die Bedienung hat uns beraten, dass eine andere Kombination das gleiche beinhaltet und richtig preiswerter ist. Großartig in Zeiten, in denen der Wirt auf jeden Euro angewiesen ist. Das Essen war richtig gut und als Nachspeise kann ich das natürlich selbstgemachte Eis empfehlen.

The Pancake(Jijimi) which we ordered was not the one, we eat in Korea. The taste is normal. However, it might be good for people who want to eat some rice in Lübeck. The taste was not so bad, but it might be so special for people who have experienced some other Korean food before.
