Guys, this is truly a little insider tip in Frankfurt. It doesn't taste like everyone else's, and the spring rolls are absolutely fantastic with a fantastic sauce. I recommend this place all the time!

Went in the Sunday afternoon, there were two other groups. Ordered pho and a duck rice, they were amazing. The portion of Pho is very big, can easily be shared by two people. Staffs are friendly. Highly recommend

I must have caught them at a wrong time. The signboard outside said open. So I went in at 3pm on a Sunday. There was another customer eating inside. I was not welcomed. The old lady at the counter didn't say hi or smile. She stared at me like I owed her an apology. I had to initiate my order. Then I realised she doesn't speak English. She mumbled something about inside or outside in German. Initially I wanted to eat there. But I changed to takeaway after being given a cold shoulder. I had to show her my cash to tell her I was going to pay. The menu stated 9 Euro. She charged me 10.50 Euro. I had no way to know why as I don't speak German. No a word of thanks after receiving payment. No gratitude shown while passing me my take-out also. The fried rice with chicken was warm but salty. Not sure why such attitude.

Vietnamese cuisine establishment. Simple interior, quite a few tables. But how delicious it is here! The portions are very, very large. One dish is enough to fill you up. A very kind hostess who wanted to do everything to make sure we were full and satisfied. Violation detected on July 16, 2024 Type of complaint / product name Business premises (general): A rodent infestation was detected. The food produced, processed and marketed at the facility was exposed to a risk of contamination. The rooms were so contaminated that a thorough cleaning of all equipment and surfaces was necessary. Due to the serious hygienic deficiencies including pest infestation, the operator was prohibited from producing or serving food. Kitchen: Dirty cloth towels were stored on the cutting board. Several furnishings were contaminated (rodent droppings in the substructure of the sink area and in the substructure of the gas stove) as well as the silicone joint on the hand basin, the dishwasher, the oven, the walls (partially), the woks, the containers, the hob grilles of the gas stove (with older, encrusted coverings). ), the grease filters of the extractor system (with grease residue) and the cleaning devices. The hand basin was filled with objects and could not be used; No hand cleaning took place during the production, processing and marketing of food and the food was exposed to the risk of adverse effects from contamination. If I could give less than 0 stars for the service then I would even give - 3 stars! We ate there for the first time today and therefore the last time. As a Vietnamese woman, it's frightening when you understand everything the service says to your colleagues in the kitchen! Outrageous is an understatement. Let alone the tone in which she speaks to you. Addressing customers as “girls eating something” is definitely not what you expect here. Or after sitting for 1 minute, saying you should order faster because she still has deliveries (mind you, there were 3 other people in the snack bar) Conclusion; It's my first bad review and I actually believe that everyone deserves a second chance, in which case I'm sure I'll never eat here again and I can't recommend it to anyone.

Worst experience ever. Tried to order take-away. I don’t understand German but the lady was rude and scolded me for some apparent reason. Spoilt the day and I left. Used to order from here before, food was good. But terrible attitude, never ever going back here.

Really excellent Vietnamese food in a lovely spot in Frankfurt. The street was quiet—we sat outside—and the service was excellent. I had a red curry dish, my wife had a bowl with spring rolls and our friends had pho! We shared some dumplings which were great. Both lemonade and Vietnamese iced coffee was great (the drinks came with ice cubes!) Our server was warm and my wife had a great conversation with her. I really recommend the place. The food was great and fast!

Spontaneously walked by on a Monday evening and ordered fried rice with chicken and vegetables - what can I say: the best fried rice! It tasted super fresh, the spices were just right. I love spontaneous decisions with such a positive surprise ;) They have a nice outside terrace and the traffic is largely hidden. The ladies were also very nice and accommodating, and even made a few jokes. All in all, a great Vietnamese place for me that I will definitely visit again!

We happened to drive past this little restaurant today and were served a fantastic meal. The chicken was very tender and crispy, the coconut curry overall was very tasty and the service was world class. We joked and laughed with Aunt Lam(?) and had a great dining experience. It was a perfect end to our evening and we would love to come back. I recommend snacking on the homemade chili oils and spices.:) Kind regards!

Truly a small pearl in Frankfurt, great food and service, not to mention the staff's friendliness and attitude just helps bring a smile to your face, not even to speak of the food, that comes in just the right portion size, and it is truly full of flavour. Even if the language barrier might be a difficulty for some places and people, then the staff at this place truly goes out of their way to try and communicate, so the customer gets to understand the menu even better. The restaurant has a tall bush fence around it, closing in the outside dining area, this helps with reducing the noise from outside, and makes the experience a bit more cosy. I can only recommend people to come and visit this place, if they crave some Vietnamese food.

We were at the Expo del Passenger terminal and after walking around the area many times to go to eat, we finally decided to eat here. A success, we loved everything, a cozy place where they serve a good amount of food and it is very good. I would also like to add the attention they gave us. a lot of love and a lot of kindness.

We came in urgently in rainy weather and I think the noodle soup is excellent, I recommend it.

Uncle Lam is thoroughly recommended. It's a small restaurant with Asian charm. We were there during our lunch break and ordered from both the lunch menu and the "normal" menu. The food came quickly and hot. There was even a mistake, but it was corrected politely and quickly. They also offer a kind of lemonade with fresh mint and ginger. My tea was also a ginger tea, which was highly recommended. All in all solid and good.

What a cool shop that I discovered by chance while walking past! Super authentic and affordable Vietnamese cuisine. Definitely a rarity in Frankfurt. Food was so so but the lady boss attitude to asian was too rude. I dont really understand the language but from what her facial expressions was rude and her tone of voice like not welcoming at all. Not even say thank you when i leave. And for local customer or Caucasian she smiling and treat them nicely. I have no idea why asian have to treat asian this way. Maybe she dont like to be asian, but too bad.

Avery bad experience considering that I love Vietnamese food. We booked a table for 3:00 p.m. coming from the airport in Frankfurt and we arrived at 3:10 p.m. at the restaurant (10 minutes late) because of the train and the tram (something I can't control). When we entered, the lady there with glasses did not greet us, bearing in mind that I greeted her 3 times and I was waiting for her to answer, and then she started arguing with us about why we were so late (10 minutes) and talk to us very badly. I asked her why she was talking to us so badly and without respect, and she said that we should not be late.. I explained it nicely and told her that due to his totally inappropriate behavior we will not eat in this restaurant now or ever and left. A total disappointment! Dear lady, learn to behave yourself nicely when your customers wanna eat a good food in a good environment with good energy.

The lady had the longest face and worst attitude as if she’s not happy for me to eat there. I thought okay I’d at least expect an authentic bowl of beef pho to go with her attitude. Very disappointingly, the pho came out with cut-corner ingredients, no fresh lime nor basil. I asked whether that was it, she scolded me in some language that I didn’t understand, and then grudgingly gave me a slice of lime. I was going to continue, but the soup just felt bland without some fresh basil, so I had to ask again, showing her google image of basil in pho. She started yelling very unpleasantly as if I was asking for something unreasonable, pointing to menu, although I pointed out that her menu photo showed basil Leaves in the soup. She turned her back on me as if she was so annoyed by me. With that, I had enough. I didn’t need to be treated so poorly by a grumpy Asian auntie for not even getting the basic ingredients in the pho, even after I had asked for them. I stood up and was ready to leave, and she finally, grudgingly reached out to her fridge and found a few pieces of basil leaves, and throw them on a plate. I had to leave. For people who don’t know the basic ingredients in a pho, their food might be okay, although I don’t understand how and why the locals would put up with her awful attitude. They cut corners with their basic Vietnamese food, and they treat you like you don’t deserve to be served.

Das Essen, vorallem die Reisnudelsuppe, war sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist eher schlicht und klein und geht Richtung "schicker Imbiss". Es war sehr einfach etwas Vegetarisches zu finden. Die Preise sind moderat und angemessen, man darf aber nicht mit sehr niedrigen Imbisspreisen rechnen.

Cooler kleiner Vietnamesischer local Imbiss. Wirklich außerordentlich authentisch und sehr guter Service. Die Inhaberin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist frisch und schmeckt sehr gut(nicht überwürzt). Auch die Portionsgrößen sind schön groß. Sehr zu empfehlen auch bei den guten Preisen. Vorallem der Tee ist top🔝 Wichtig, es gibt nicht so viele Sitzplätze. Cảm ơn vì bữa ăn ngon🙏🏻

Came here alone for lunch on a Friday. I ordered a Pho Bo and a iced Vietnamese Coffee. The Pho was good, although it wasn’t the best I’ve had. There could have been more bean sprouts, or mint leaves. Usually restaurants I’ve been to put out extra on your table to add. The iced Vietnamese coffee was ok, as the cup was only half filled, and it didn’t taste like it easy freshly made. Also using card charges +1€, so be sure to bring cash. Fast service and friendly. Would def come back for a quick meal now and then, but def not my go to for a really good bowl of Pho.

Food is pretty decent but ran into a little situation when their credit card system was down and was charged multiple times but with assurance it wouldn't go through and the lady still wanted to proceed with transaction again n again. they said they have been having issues with it that day. Initially was no issues with transactions made but din go thru with German credit cards then later they said it was due to no German credit cards that has this issue. Atm it seemed dubious that the reason keeps changing as the charge was shown to be put on hold in my bank app. All went well in the end but so much hassle just to get my food.

Seit Jahren immer wieder vorbeigelaufen, gestern einmal ausprobiert! Ich kann die hier genannten 5 Sterne Bewertungen mehr als bestätigen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und persönlich! Das Essen ist sehr gut und authentisch, Preis-Leistung sind in der heutigen Zeit, der HAMMER! Fast wie vor 10 Jahren. Zum Essen, wir hatten das volle Programm, viele Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge. Die vietnamesischen Frühlingsrollen sind frisch und selbstgemacht, am besten sind die steamed Wan-Tang, die wir nochmal zum Dessert bestellt haben. Kleine Anmerkung, nehmt eure lokalen Biere mit auf🤗! Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch!
