I was passing through and visited the restaurant around 5 pm, wanting to grab a quick bite. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue. The food arrived promptly, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing for the high price of €15.50. The broth tasted more like MSG, and the portion consisted of three pieces of Vietnamese sausage (Chả), two thin slices of pork knuckle, one thin slice of beef, and the rest was some herbs, iceberg lettuce, mung beans, and vermicelli noodles (far too little for the price). On top of that, the server at the register was unfriendly—no smile, no thank you/please. I'm from Berlin and am used to much better service. In short, I wouldn't recommend it; it's not good value for money.

Delicious food and great service. I love the food here. Especially the papaya salad, the summer rolls, and the baguettes. Ray keeps the place spotless and is always friendly. He even made a special order for the business recently, which was such a hit. There wasn't a single bite left! Thank you, Ray, for the wonderful food and friendly service.

I never leave reviews, even when the service or food isn’t good, but I’ll make an exception this time because the cashier was beyond rude. First of all, he cut me off halfway when I was saying what I wanted to order — which was already a bad first impression. Secondly, he spoke so fast that I couldn’t even understand what he was saying. When I went back to my seat, he suddenly yelled at me and pointed at the card reader, telling me to enter my PIN. Like, seriously? It’s not like I wasn’t going to pay, the food hadn’t even been made yet! Why the shouting? Calm down, it’s not that deep. Is this really how you treat customers? I’ve read several other reviews saying the cashier was rude, so clearly this isn’t just a one-time thing. Small tip: change your attitude if you don’t want to lose more customers. Oh, and the food was mid as well.

The soup was almost tasteless; it lacked everything that should have been delicious. Only the tofu, which tasted more like eggs, was tasty. The summer roll was as if it had been stuffed with coarsely chopped vegetables without any fine quality. We won't go there anymore; it's bland and a waste of money.

I would like to recommend this pork roast with rice, the pork was so crispy and juicy and the pickles were fresh.

The pho was pretty mild for me. Kinda like a Korean style beef broth. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced:) Definitely try the oolong bubble tea too! we paid 38.5€

We both had delicious dishes here. My Vietnamese partner highly approved of it. The staff was friendly and efficient and someone even came by to check to see if everything tasted good. It’s a chill atmosphere despite how busy it is. They have a wide range of Vietnamese food that lots of westerners would enjoy. The pricing is reasonable.

I was very disappointed with my visit. A foreign employee reacted very rudely when my friend couldn't eat the fish sauce. He accused me of not being able to tell whether it was fish sauce, as a Vietnamese woman. This attitude ruined the entire dinner. I actually came to enjoy the good food, but the behavior of this employee made me feel very uncomfortable.

We all ate bánh mì (baguettes) at this restaurant. The baguettes were all delicious, and the drink was also tasty. However, the prices for the baguettes are a bit high, and the cashier wasn't particularly friendly.

The waitress I asked for a restroom was rude and refused. The bread at Bahn Mi is too dry and takes up too much space. The bread wasn't as pictured either. The roast pork crackling is not recommended as a topping; there's hardly any crust, it's too hard and lacks crunch, and the meaty part tasted substandard. The only bright spot was the liverwurst pâté.

Ray is a cool guy and made sure my strawberry matcha was ready in under 5 minutes!

Five of us were here on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Before we ordered, we asked if they had hoisin sauce, which we like with phở. The waiter's answer was yes. We had ordered three phở and two rice dishes with grilled pork. When we went to pick up the food ourselves, the two ladies at the counter in the kitchen answered "no," and it was really unfriendly. We will never come back.

This is a rice noodle restaurant that was really delicious. It was like an oasis in the desert that I found during my long trip to Europe. The beef rice noodles were so delicious, and the staff understood when I said "gosoo" in Korean. Haha. The owner was super friendly! The food was so delicious~!

I don't know how the people on Xiaohongshu could recommend it against their conscience. This is considered unpalatable among Vietnamese dishes. Maybe it's OK in Frankfurt, I don't understand. I added four or five spoons of garlic water from the seasoning counter to the rice noodles to make them taste a bit good. And when I was eating, there were always fruit flies and white bugs flying on me. The pho soup was a bit salty. It was all self-service. There was a non-Asian male waiter with a terrible attitude. I saw him yelling at a female customer who didn't speak German.

Ordered grilled pork collar for takeaway but was given chicken breast. And the guy at counter checked the order b4 handing it over and you still got it wrong? Besides the wrong order, the sauce is wrong…

I didn't get to write a review first time coming but it's been the second time I came and I always crave Vietnamese food, specifically this restaurant when coming to Frankfurt. First time I tried Pho Ga which was really nice, lots of herb and also Tuong Den (which you don't normally get in other Vietnamese restaurants in Germany). This time I got Bun Bo Hue which was so good I literally was slurping the soup, soup taste better with a bit of lemon if you prefer a balance of saltyness and sourness. You pay first, card payment available, and self-service to your desk. You can also order drinks from Egg Coffee, their milk tea is great and their coconut coffee frap also taste really good!

The price is impeccable. It is incredible to be able to eat a meal in the center of Frankfurt for the same price as Kebab. As for the food, it is just ordinary rice noodles, but the portion is enough for a guy like me to eat. It is worth recommending!

This is a restaurant I found by chance when I went to eat rice noodles in Frankfurt. I originally went to the restaurant across from this one, but there were so many people that I had no choice but to go in and eat, and it was really good. Koreans like spicy food, so the soup was spicy and good. They also gave me extra chili peppers, and the Vietnamese owner with a lot of white hair was very kind. 7 people ate, and they gave me oxtail soup for free, which was completely Korean style. I went to the restaurant across the street the next day, but the soup wasn't spicy, so I had to add sauce separately. It was just a soup that was tailored to German tastes, so it would be disappointing for Koreans. On my second visit, I ordered fried rice with pork, which was very generous and delicious. The portion was so big that women couldn't finish it all and had some leftovers. They say the restaurant across the street is more famous, but if you're Korean, I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're having trouble with salty German food, be sure to stop by.

I visited Frankfurt twice during 7 days. It was the most delicious and satisfying meal among German meals. Especially for those in their 50s or 60s from Korea who have difficulty digesting food and want a meal that suits their taste, I recommend this place. It is a version of fried rice with rice noodles sold at a restaurant in Seoul, and the staff is friendly. You can add spicy peppers, and you can feel a refreshing taste by adding it to the soup. Our group ate out both times. I recommend it to those who have difficulty digesting food and do not like German food. I enjoyed rice noodles, rice banh mi, and beer at a restaurant I used to eat in Korea.

Ray welcomed us very warmly and immediately arranged a larger table for us. He was incredibly attentive throughout our entire visit! The food tasted truly authentic – you can tell the love and care goes into the cooking here. We were particularly impressed by the speedy service: we didn't even have to wait 10 minutes. As a special highlight, we were able to try a new pancake dessert that wasn't yet on the menu – highly recommended! Unfortunately, we don't live in Frankfurt, otherwise we would definitely come more often. But from now on, it's a must-try whenever you visit Frankfurt!

There were three of us there, and we ordered two beef pho dishes and one tofu pho dish. Everything tasted absolutely amazing! The drinks were also perfect, and I especially recommend the strawberry matcha. The staff was also really accommodating and friendly. The manager, Ray, gave us excellent recommendations and was very attentive and humorous! Simply a GREAT place! Highly recommended, and everything was authentic, just like in Vietnam.

Just wow! Everything was just perfect! The food was authentic and extremely delicious! I had the Pho with Tofu and the bowl was gigantic! They packed up the rest for me very nicely I could walk around Frankfurt the whole day without a drop getting spilled! The service was so nice, everyone who works here is just so sweet and forthcoming! Ray, who is the owner of the restaurant, attended to us personally, asking us if the food was to our liking and even giving us tips on how to enjoy it better! Although the restaurant is small it has such a nice atmosphere and the food is just out of this world! Definitely come here and enjoy some Vietnamese food and drinks!

Unfortunately disappointing I was looking forward to a warming pho, but was sadly disappointed. The soup seemed rather carelessly prepared and tasted rather unexceptional. The meat was particularly disappointing: grayish in color, tough in texture, and partially gristly – I had to remove it completely from the soup. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

After seeing good reviews from many friends, I came here to check it out out of curiosity🙃 There are locations both indoors and outdoors. The place is small, but the items are neatly arranged, clean and refreshing. You need to order and pay at the cashier, and when the PP machine rings, you need to pick up the food yourself. The menu doesn’t have many choices, but it’s enough for you to find something delicious😋 Fresh materials, fair prices, and top-notch service👍🏼 Because of the sudden attack of malicious intent, and because there were still two hours before dinner, I didn’t order so much and shared the side dishes with my friends. I will continue to try new menus in the future😎 Will visit this store again😊

As you turn off Zeil down Schärfengäßchen you begin to notice the flavours of Vietnam filling the air. This little street in the middle of Frankfurt consists of 4 or so Vietnamese restaurants. In this Little Vietnam it is hard to pick but I chose An Frankfurt. I ordered a beef pho. I wasn't disappointed. The meal came out quick, topped with heaps of fresh herbs. It was great. The place is tight but with many tables filled with locals and explorers alike. It has a great vibe, with the right amount of music and hustle and bustle. The prices were very reasonable. I would give this place a go if you looking for good pho in Frankfurt!

Sorry German friends, but your cuisine isn't very inviting. But this Vietnamese restaurant is! I came here 4 times during my stay in Frankfurt, Pho, Bahn mi, noodles, everything is tasty, the manager is funny and the owner is always there and welcoming. Impeccable quality.

Was here for the first time today because my girlfriend raves about the Phở here. The service is quick and nice (contrary to what the comments say). The broth is clear and delicious, just like a real phở should be. Rice noodles are okay, but what disappointed me was the meat. Far too tough and the meatballs from the Asian market were frozen. But there is an extra point because they have Hoisin and Siracha and another point for the delicious Vietnamese style coffees (Vietnamese Salt Ice Coffee is awesome). Would come back just for the drinks and maybe to try a Bánh Mì.

I visited An Frankfurt and was overall very happy with the food. The Bánh Mì were fresh and delicious, with crusty bread and well-seasoned ingredients. The summer rolls were also tasty and beautifully prepared. The price-performance ratio is fair - you get good quality food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't convince me as they were rather tasteless and didn't match the high quality of the food. That somewhat clouded my overall impression. That's why I give it 4 stars - with better drinks it would be worth a full 5 star rating!

I've been there for years and really like it there. The taste is simply great. Point less, because unfortunately I have the feeling that there are now less noodles in the soup and more onions. Otherwise, as I said, everything tastes great, vegetarians don't miss out either. The tofu tastes excellent. Thanks !

Different items were ordered. I would only recommend the Pho. Flavors on other dishes were okay, but not a good value. The sandwich had only a scarce amount of chicken, and dish #21 also had scarce meat as well. If you're in a rush, there is individual seating area, but seating is not possible for larger groups. Not very friendly young cashier.

The pho here is good, and I’ve been a regular customer for a while. However, I’ve noticed that some of the staffs act really passive-aggressive and even come across as mean-spirited toward customers, which makes the experience very uncomfortable. Not everyone, some staffs are really kind and welcoming. Sadly if it continues that way, it could drive loyal customers away. Just some honest feedback

This is the best restaurant that I discovered while passing by and was attracted by the smell. It is a Vietnamese restaurant with Vietnamese people working there and the prices are a bit high, but the restaurant with many Vietnamese people is 100% delicious. Although it was past lunch time, there were many Vietnamese people. It is a clear soup that has been boiled for a long time, and you can guess that the broth has been boiled for a long time with soft beef breast. The soup is clean and rice noodles with relatively little seasoning. However, the German at the checkout counter seems a bit arrogant. We need to reconsider our service mindset. One thing bothered me, but it was a relatively delicious meal and I would definitely take my family back.

A Vietnamese friend recommended this place to me, so I trusted him and went again; When I first went there last summer, the pho wasn't that impressive, but still good. This time I tried the Bún Xá Xíu and found it authentic and tasteful. It was a bit salty but intensely flavored, and the summer rolls were particularly fresh and delicious. Next time I would like to try other dishes.

The man at the checkout is a very unpleasant person, acts like a big jerk and treats both the staff and the customers condescendingly. I used to go here often and really enjoyed it, but it's just not the same store anymore. The food has also lost a lot of quality. I suspect that the owner has changed, as is often the case.
