Great food place, one of the best small scale restaurants in FFM

The pho here is good, and I’ve been a regular customer for a while. However, I’ve noticed that some of the staffs act really passive-aggressive and even come across as mean-spirited toward customers, which makes the experience very uncomfortable. Not everyone, some staffs are really kind and welcoming. Sadly if it continues that way, it could drive loyal customers away. Just some honest feedback

Wouldn’t recommend the food as I have found it quite disappointing in the past. However I would very much recommend the drinks. Especially the fruit salad tea, is amazing in a hot day!

This is the best restaurant that I discovered while passing by and was attracted by the smell. It is a Vietnamese restaurant with Vietnamese people working there and the prices are a bit high, but the restaurant with many Vietnamese people is 100% delicious. Although it was past lunch time, there were many Vietnamese people. It is a clear soup that has been boiled for a long time, and you can guess that the broth has been boiled for a long time with soft beef breast. The soup is clean and rice noodles with relatively little seasoning. However, the German at the checkout counter seems a bit arrogant. We need to reconsider our service mindset. One thing bothered me, but it was a relatively delicious meal and I would definitely take my family back.

A Vietnamese friend recommended this place to me, so I trusted him and went again; When I first went there last summer, the pho wasn't that impressive, but still good. This time I tried the Bún Xá Xíu and found it authentic and tasteful. It was a bit salty but intensely flavored, and the summer rolls were particularly fresh and delicious. Next time I would like to try other dishes.

Super nice, the boss personally always asked us if everything tasted good and was very attentive. Super nice people there and such a great atmosphere. The food was incredibly tasty, especially the noodle soup.

The man at the checkout is a very unpleasant person, acts like a big jerk and treats both the staff and the customers condescendingly. I used to go here often and really enjoyed it, but it's just not the same store anymore. The food has also lost a lot of quality. I suspect that the owner has changed, as is often the case.

This is my favorite place to get a bowl of pho. The taste is always consistently good, staff is friendly, and the price is fair. I come here very often and recommend others to do so.

We ate summer rolls there today, the food was great, especially the peanut sauce. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the man behind the counter who spoke to us very intrusively about Schatzi several times was not our style. We wanted more professionalism.

I have no idea what's supposed to be authentic about it when half of the staff is anything but Vietnamese. Once you've sat in there, you come out smoked because the kitchen is next to you. The cashier is artificially unsympathetic and probably finds it fun to demean guests. once and never again. The imprint and the name of the managing director cannot be found either. very dubious

We ordered multiple portions: beef was completely overcooked, old and tough. Shrimp also just pulled out of the package, not thawed beforehand. The serving of the food was a long time coming. A total of 45 minutes after we ordered. Not a second time.

Very unfriendly staff. As soon as you walked in you were treated badly. When you ordered, the cashier at the bar rolled her eyes and made it clear to us that she neither wanted to work nor wanted to serve the customers. She told us in a condescending tone that we should order on the other side before we said how we wanted to pay (cash or card) she told us that we should pay over there. The staff on the other side treated us very disparagingly and we also received strange looks. Unfortunately I won't go there again despite the beautiful location.

Went there about a month ago. Dined in with a friend for dinner and ordered with my food a Matcha strawberry drink that was on their menu. It took them three requests by my friend and myself to even acknowledge that I am missing my drink. Finally got my Matcha when we finished eating our food about 30-40min in. And the orner or manager (I think at least it was) had the audacity to try and play it off and pull some jokes. Didn't even apologized for the inconvenience. + The place wasn't crowded that evening. + The Matcha didn't even taste good. Gras like taste and off color!

The food was delicious, but the last time we were there we gave a friendly tip that a little more lime would be nice for the pho soup. When we were there this time, we didn't even have half a lime for 2 (!) Pho soups. When we asked where the other one was, the manager simply told us dryly, “Here it is.” In general, we found the manager and the manager's tone towards the other employees to be very abrupt and unfriendly. He told them, for example, to be quieter, even though talking is normal in a restaurant and you hardly noticed it either way. You actually just heard the manager complaining (loudly) the whole time. As I said, the food was good, but due to the unpleasant atmosphere we wouldn't necessarily come back.

The best Vietnamese food I have tried in Germany. The service is super fast and friendly. I am a regular and can recommend all the options from the menu. Will be coming back again and again.

Food quality is fair. Its a bit less comparable to price. Space is small. Just my individual experience, there are many better Vietnamese restaurants in Munich.

It was my first time eating Vietnamese food and it was very tasty. In terms of price, the main course, starter and beer came to 23 euros, so in my opinion it was also great! The gentleman at the checkout was super friendly and funny too :) We'll definitely be back :))

Hue beef noodle soup is very delicious. Location right in the city center, Vietnamese bread is also delicious. Price is not too expensive.

I ordered Hot Vietnamese Coffee, they basically just put pre-made cafe on the filter thing but there is no coffee ground inside. Just to mimic “vietnemese coffee dripping to your cup”. I know this coffee is supposed to be strong, intense flavor, this one is a let down. Coffee tasted like water with condensed milk. I couldn’t finish it and let me husband drink the rest because he is not a fan of strong coffees. I do not recommend this place. Don’t mess with my vietnamese coffee, it is my favorite, please do it right!

I was in this restaurant for the first time today (November 10th) around 4:15 p.m. and was looking forward to a nice experience. Unfortunately I was very disappointed, especially by the unfriendly service from the cashier - the manager. Even though we had just finished eating and I was still drinking, the manager came and asked us if we were ready, obviously intending to pressure us to leave. I found this type of service to be extremely rude and unpleasant. I also asked about the toilet and was pointed out in an unfriendly tone. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant. I would definitely have liked more friendliness and hospitality. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant due to this bad experience.

We ate today (November 10th around 4 p.m.) in the restaurant “An Frankfurt - Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine” and were generally satisfied with the food. However, we would like to share some negative experiences regarding the service. First, as we were about to finish, the cashier, supposedly the manager, asked us if we were ready, which gave the impression that we should leave as quickly as possible. This was uncomfortable and made people feel unwelcome, even though seating capacity was limited. A more polite approach would have been more appropriate here. Additionally, my friend asked for directions to the toilet, and the answer was: “Yes, it’s still over there.” This answer seemed unfriendly and disrespectful. We would like to note that the quality of the food was good, but the service should be more polite and respectful in our opinion. A hospitable approach would greatly improve the restaurant experience. Therefore 2 stars deducted because of the rude service.

I loved the pho with beef during the cold day. It was very nourishing and warm. The quantity was also enough i believe as it was difficult for me to finish the whole bowl. The spring rolls with prawns and the peanut sauce also was really good.

Different items were ordered. I would only recommend the Pho. Flavors on other dishes were good, but dishes were not a good value. Sandwich had scarce amount of chicken, and dish #21 also very scarce on meat as well. If you're in a rush, individual seating area inside to grab a quick bite, but seating is not possible for larger groups. Not very friendly young cashier.

The food is delicious and I really enjoy eating there, BUT: I was eating there today with my family and the cashier who was on her cell phone the whole time last time and didn't take our order because she didn't think it was necessary was one too many today. Since I ordered in German and she thought I didn't know Vietnamese, things backfired. I ordered and told her I would like to pay by card, she was obviously annoyed because I had to get my wallet. I paid with cash because it was easier now and she INSULTED me in Vietnamese! (without knowing that I knew Vietnamese) I would pay attention to which employees are at the checkout, as customer service is very important to keep customers coming back. I don't know if I would come again now, as this situation wasn't possible at all.

My companion had pho with chicken. Large portion and the soup was good. The chicken was incredibly dry. I hadn't eaten such bad chicken in a long time. I had beef soup with lemongrass and pork. No trace of lemongrass. Beef totally dry and hard to chew. Soup good All in all okay. But you don't have to go there again.

Very tasty Viet Iced Coffee. BUT: according to the consumer window Hessen Online, the inspectors found: 'Food was placed on the market that was stored under disgusting conditions.'

We're from Vancouver and the Bun Bo Hue was hot and authentic! Ray was super courteous, friendly and awesome to chat with! The food was very yummy and hit the spot as we were missing some of the Vietnamese food from home!

El servicio fue bastante rápido, no hay quejas allí. Y los precios eran justos por la zona, y por la calidad y cantidad de alimentos. Asientos interiores y exteriores. Si estás en el área y estás tras un tazón caliente de Pho, este lugar te tiene cubierto.

The Vietnamese restaurant An leaves mixed feelings. It doesn't seem like a real restaurant or a snack bar. There is a lack of trained staff and professionalism for a restaurant, while it is simply too expensive for a snack bar. The pho soup itself is mediocre, lacking the flavor depth and complexity one expects from Vietnamese cuisine. Overall, it disappoints both in terms of price-performance and atmosphere.

Stumbled across this place with my friend Julia and convinced her successfully to enjoy a beverage here. I had a peach ice tea. The fruit on top tasted like it came out of a can. Would prefer fresh fruit. But the drink itself was very nice. I appreciate the cute glasses and the lovely arrangement of the drinks. I will come back and drink more ice tea.

Ray’s service is great and they have the best Pho in Frankfurt. I live nearby and come by often. For people who haven't eaten here yet, it's a must to come here

Mega brilliant day! After hours of cinema, we were extremely hungry and craving authentic Vietnamese food like we had experienced in Vietnam - and wow, we found the perfect place! The food was incredibly delicious! An was just about to close, but they still opened the kitchen for us again and prepared something for us! Such a nice gesture, and the food was just amazing! It feels like you have discovered a real treasure in the middle of the city! The Bánh Mì was fantastic! And the Bún Gà Nướng (don't even get me started!) completely blew us away! We felt like this is exactly how food should taste - healthy, fresh, incredibly delicious, and you could really enjoy it every day! A perfect evening topped off with great food – it was like a dream! Definitely one of my favorites, and I'll definitely be back!

Smokers sit outside near the door and smoke, and the smoke flows into the indoors, forcing indoor customers to inhale secondhand smoke. If you don't know that non-smokers' right to breathe clean air is more important than smokers' smoking preferences, then you have a very low understanding of basic human rights.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant for pho so far I’ve had in Frankfurt and in Germany it is delicious. The price was about €14. I had so much food I got that PHOBO or the PHO beef noodle soup with layers I’m still eating it while I’m making this cut so yummyfor the food so many Vietnamese people here and people just eating here in general do not miss this place

The costumer service was very good. I have a soy allergy and the owner was very accommodating and totally attentive to me and even made me a special meal without soy. The food tastes good and fresh

Ordered pho beef, sandwich with 3 meats, and rice noodle with 3 meats. The meats were all on the dry side, especially the chicken. I would not recommend the chicken at all for it is rough. The meats could have used more marinating with more water to avoid drying up like this. Do not recommend the sandwich at all. Typical, made with mass produced baguette, bread is a bit hard to bite into, and due to aforementioned meat issues the sandwich isn’t that tasty. The rice noodle with 3 meats, same meat problems. Sat in the hallway where lots of pedestrians pass through and some guy smoked upwind. Price was okay. Pho cheaper than the place across street. Tbh the place across street didn’t look that authentic, didn’t see a single Asian person working there, whereas this place has actual Vietnamese family working (which is why I ate here instead).

Unfortunately too expensive for the small portions and very bad staff, so I'd rather go to any other restaurant in the area!

When I was greeted, the cashier immediately insulted me. I wanted to order the “Banh Mi” as normal, whereupon the cashier asked loudly and penetratingly “that’s it?” The restaurant disappointed me because I can't quite understand the good reviews on Google. The service needs a lot of improvement and the portions are very small in relation to the price of €8.50. Unfortunately, I will not visit this restaurant again if the quality of service does not improve.

I read in a review: "The best Pho in town" ..????!!!! NOPE! Sorry, I had to return the most expensive version again (a few months ago...). It wasn't tasty at all, unfortunately. I ordered this with 2 different types of pork meat, which is usually one of the most tender versions... There were two pieces of meatloaf (... never seen anywhere else) and the other 2 pieces were so tough that I had to help myself with my hands plus 1kg of overcooked pasta in lukewarm water...🥺 No, sorry, that could really be better!? What's really delicious and always a really tasty snack are the sandwiches! The summer rolls too, but the soups... creepily unimaginative I'll try it once more, because the rest is actually nice, except for the soups...(which should normally be the flagship of a Vietnamese restaurant..?) And if you like sugar and ambience, you can order from the cute café opposite, which the owner has also rented. The drinks and coffee variants are mmmmm... (of course nothing for the hips, but hey...🙈🤣)

I often eat at restaurants. Delicious beef noodle soup. But most of the times I come in, the sweet soup always has problems, it's easy to burn due to the quantity in stock and it's still served. I sympathize because the owner is kind, but today the staff has a bad attitude towards customers. I asked for white bean sweet soup but intentionally got black bean sweet soup. After that, the white bean soup continued to stink. I returned it and requested a refund because of food safety and hygiene issues, the staff attitude was very frustrating and unpleasant. Working as a server, they probably just want to be the customer's mom and dad even though the restaurant did something wrong. Ich esse oft im Restaurant. Das Bun Bo ist lecker. Aber die meisten Male, wenn ich dort bin, gibt es Probleme mit dem Dessert, das oft wegen der verbleibenden Menge schnell verdirbt und trotzdem serviert wird. Ich habe viel Verständnis, weil der Besitzer sehr nett ist, aber heute hatte ein Mitarbeiter eine schlechte Einstellung gegenüber den Kunden. Ich habe weiße Bohnen-Che bestellt, aber absichtlich schwarze Bohnen-Che erhalten. Danach war das weiße Bohnen-Che wieder verdorben. Ich habe es zurückgegeben und eine Rückerstattung gefordert wegen der Lebensmittelsicherheit, aber die Mitarbeiterin war sehr verärgert und unhöflich. Sie arbeitet im Service, aber es scheint, als ob sie nur die Eltern der Kunden sein will, obwohl das Restaurant einen Fehler gemacht hat.

I am a vietnamese traveler in Frankfurt and i found this vietnamese corner with a lot of vietnamese food! 🇻🇳The portion is actually not very big so i was not full at all, but the broth is very good. 😍 I had a chicken pho but i think since the waitress knew im from vietnam, i suddenly have a feeling she did not treat me that good like at first but whatever. I had great food that all matters. But if it was a little bit more, i would be much happier!!!

The meal was very delicious, the waiter was very enthusiastic and asked if we enjoyed the food. We went as a group of 4 and ordered 4 glasses of water, but only the custard apple tea was not very delicious. As for the Peach Orange Lemongrass Tea, Oolong Milk Tea with Cheese Jelly and Coconut Milk Iced Coffee I recommend everyone to try.

Perfect for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner. I particularly recommend the Banh Mi with three types of meat and the summer rolls. You order and pay in the restaurant and then pick up the food yourself when it is served. Everything perfect!

Very delicious Pho with clear stock. Much better than the fellow few meters away. Also tried the delivery and it has been well presented in great split, so I could enjoy a fresh soup at home too. Plus credit for the environment friendly packaging.

The ambience is very small, cramped and the staff is very unfriendly. When asked questions, employees react irritably and aggressively. We kindly asked if we could have packaging for our leftovers to go as we couldn't manage everything. The cook and the waiter were very rude and scolded us.

Tried the Pho and Bun Noddles. Both dishes were incredibly tasty and the portions were very good for the price. Saving this one for a new visit to Frankfurt.

My friend and I went to this cafe because we really wanted cold drinks. We ordered 2 lemonades, one peach, the other passion fruit. It tasted good. Price 5€ each. It's self service. But what I gave a one for is the fact that we were simply actually kicked out. They almost snatched the slightly unfinished drink from their hands. And they said that we needed to leave because the table was reserved, but the thing is that there was no reservation on the table. But people came who were waiting for a table to become available. And since, you see, we didn’t give them a good cash, but only 10 €, we decided that it was time for us to go and not take up space.
