I often eat at restaurants. Delicious beef noodle soup. But most of the times I come in, the sweet soup always has problems, it's easy to burn due to the quantity in stock and it's still served. I sympathize because the owner is kind, but today the staff has a bad attitude towards customers. I asked for white bean sweet soup but intentionally got black bean sweet soup. After that, the white bean soup continued to stink. I returned it and requested a refund because of food safety and hygiene issues, the staff attitude was very frustrating and unpleasant. Working as a server, they probably just want to be the customer's mom and dad even though the restaurant did something wrong. Ich esse oft im Restaurant. Das Bun Bo ist lecker. Aber die meisten Male, wenn ich dort bin, gibt es Probleme mit dem Dessert, das oft wegen der verbleibenden Menge schnell verdirbt und trotzdem serviert wird. Ich habe viel Verständnis, weil der Besitzer sehr nett ist, aber heute hatte ein Mitarbeiter eine schlechte Einstellung gegenüber den Kunden. Ich habe weiße Bohnen-Che bestellt, aber absichtlich schwarze Bohnen-Che erhalten. Danach war das weiße Bohnen-Che wieder verdorben. Ich habe es zurückgegeben und eine Rückerstattung gefordert wegen der Lebensmittelsicherheit, aber die Mitarbeiterin war sehr verärgert und unhöflich. Sie arbeitet im Service, aber es scheint, als ob sie nur die Eltern der Kunden sein will, obwohl das Restaurant einen Fehler gemacht hat.

Authentic Vietnamese Food from vietnamese chef, proven by Vietnamese. I must come back the second day in a row to try out more dishes. All of them passed my expectation. Self-service with friendly and helpful staff at the counter. I will definitely come back if I visit Frankfurt.

I am a vietnamese traveler in Frankfurt and i found this vietnamese corner with a lot of vietnamese food! 🇻🇳The portion is actually not very big so i was not full at all, but the broth is very good. 😍 I had a chicken pho but i think since the waitress knew im from vietnam, i suddenly have a feeling she did not treat me that good like at first but whatever. I had great food that all matters. But if it was a little bit more, i would be much happier!!!

The meal was very delicious, the waiter was very enthusiastic and asked if we enjoyed the food. We went as a group of 4 and ordered 4 glasses of water, but only the custard apple tea was not very delicious. As for the Peach Orange Lemongrass Tea, Oolong Milk Tea with Cheese Jelly and Coconut Milk Iced Coffee I recommend everyone to try.

Very disappointed that you currently get €8 for so little content! The picture on the left is what I got today and the picture on the right was a year ago... There isn't anything worse, I know that the price has to go up somehow because of Corona, but you should be ashamed of such quality

Perfect for a quick and delicious lunch or dinner. I particularly recommend the Banh Mi with three types of meat and the summer rolls. You order and pay in the restaurant and then pick up the food yourself when it is served. Everything perfect!

Very delicious Pho with clear stock. Much better than the fellow few meters away. Also tried the delivery and it has been well presented in great split, so I could enjoy a fresh soup at home too. Plus credit for the environment friendly packaging.

Cilantro is included unless otherwise mentioned, so if you cannot eat it, please let us know in advance. It's large in quantity and very tasty, and can be substituted for Korean food! Judging by the fact that there are some people who only drink beverages or coffee, it seems like they are also good at beverages?

I eat PhoBo moderately everywhere I can get one and this one was great! Gladly again.

The ambience is very small, cramped and the staff is very unfriendly. When asked questions, employees react irritably and aggressively. We kindly asked if we could have packaging for our leftovers to go as we couldn't manage everything. The cook and the waiter were very rude and scolded us.

Impressive vietnamese restaurant in Germany.

Tried the Pho and Bun Noddles. Both dishes were incredibly tasty and the portions were very good for the price. Saving this one for a new visit to Frankfurt.

Nothing bad I can say about the place. The food is very tasty, especially the Pho with beef I think it's the best I've tried anywhere in Germany. The Bahn Mi is also quite good. I highly recommend the place

My friend and I went to this cafe because we really wanted cold drinks. We ordered 2 lemonades, one peach, the other passion fruit. It tasted good. Price 5€ each. It's self service. But what I gave a one for is the fact that we were simply actually kicked out. They almost snatched the slightly unfinished drink from their hands. And they said that we needed to leave because the table was reserved, but the thing is that there was no reservation on the table. But people came who were waiting for a table to become available. And since, you see, we didn’t give them a good cash, but only 10 €, we decided that it was time for us to go and not take up space.

Great food in the center of the city

Some of the best that Frankfurt has to offer. The food is delicious and always fresh. The friendly store manager always greets guests with a smile. 😀 You always feel welcome here ❤️👍🏽

Very very tasty Pho. More of a fast food restaurant, but quick and incredibly tasty!

I went here yesterday with my daughter. What a very pleasant surprise. I normally order a Pho when I first go to a Vietnamese restaurant, since I use it as a barometer for the overall quality (I have some reference dishes that I use similarly for most of the cuisines that I enjoy). All I can say is that the Pho was simply fantastic. The broth, the amount and quality of the greens, sprouts, and meat were very, very good. But the star of the show were the rice noodles. These were the best I have ever had. Also a shout out to the great house-made lemonades and the summer roll with chicken, that we had as appetizers. The peanut sauce, something that I normally don't care for much, was impressive! All-in-all I can highly recommend this place. We will use it as reference for Vietnamese cuisine in Frankfurt and beyond.

Very good food 10/10 Staff very friendly

The food here is always made from fresh ingredients and tastes very tasty. The prices are in the upper midfield, but are absolutely appropriate given the good quality. The restaurant is divided into two areas, the one by the kitchen is small and fine and sometimes a bit drafty, the other is on the opposite side of the passage and is stylishly furnished. A few times the order taker wasn't as attentive and I didn't feel as well cared for. But since the rest fits well, I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

I'm Vietnamese and when I want to show my friends Vietnamese street food, "An Frankfurt" is always my first choice. It's easy to find a seat, the food is wonderfully authentic and the staff, especially the manager Ray, are always friendly and helpful. My absolute favorite dish there, especially on cold days, is Pho. The pho reminds me a lot of the northern pho in Vietnam, which you rarely find in restaurants, but that is the pho taste of my homeland. If I'm in the mood for a quick but delicious dish, then it's definitely Banh Mi. The Com Ga is also highly recommended.

I really enjoy eating here, especially the soups, as the quality is consistently maintained. I can also highly recommend the summer rolls. So definitely always worth a visit :)

Update 02/24/24: Got better again. Bread good, content good, Pho also tasty. Keep it up. July 27, 2020: Prices increased. Banh mi has become smaller. No more typical banh mi bread. Less meat in it, generally very little content (about 50% less than before). It was very good at the beginning and I was there every 2-3 days. Now gone bad. Sorry, I have to adjust the rating.

Tasty, quick, soups are served in large portions, and the second course is a medium portion.

Pro: The food is quite good, service is also okay, quite fast Cons: It got quite expensive. I don't think the price quality ratio is right anymore and its more of a eat and go than a place to stay for dinner.

Super tasty Vietnamese! The Banh Mi is really authentic and delicious! Bun Bo Hue and Pho taste amazing. Small shop, seats along a passage - takes getting used to but somehow authentic like in Vietnam! One of my favorite Vietnamese.

This is a self-service restaurant where you order at the counter and pick up your food yourself. We ordered beef pho, but the soup was too salty for both of us, so we asked for hot water. After adding water, it was edible. I was originally going to go to another pho place, but I realized while writing the review that I ended up going to this place. I ordered pho and spring roll, but the pho was too salty, but the spring roll was okay. I don't think I will visit again.

The owner is very rude and arrogant… not suitable in the service world, go back to vietnam and learn some manners

Ein kleiner Eckladen, der zum verweilen einlädt. Man kann direkt beim zubereiten zuschauen und alles sehen. Der Ingwer-Minze-Tee ist sehr lecker, der vietnamesische Kaffee mal was anderes zum „normalen“ Kaffee und die Speisen sind auch super. Eine klare Empfehlung!

The food is authentic, prepared by Vietnamese staff, therefore, taste, presentation and flavor are very close to the original that you can taste in Hanoi or Ho Chi Min City, thousands of miles further east. The restaurant is unpretentious, self service and convenient. Preparation times are short, so no long waiting to enjoy your meal. If you are looking for lighter healthier food, this is a great choice.

Habe essen bestellt, hat auch gut geschmeckt, aber eure Verpackungen kann man direkt in die Tonne schmeißen. Der Deckel von der Suppebehälter ist geschmolzen und essen ist leider so gut wie kalt deshalb angekommen. Sucht euch bessere Verpackungen.

Overall food quality better than Frankfurt's: Góc Phố, Antru Lam Frères Vietnam Restaurant, Mai Viên, Vipho, Ong Tao, Sen and Vietnam Bistro Palmen. Very generous with their Pho-Bo's tender beef and noodles, it is the broth that makes them #1 in Western Europe. Our ******* Salute to An-Frankfurt and their very affable owners!!! TODAY DECEMBER 15th's ENCORE: Blessed with the pleasure of meeting Ray ~ the COO, today's encore luncheon was every bit as excellent as our 1st visit last Friday. An's spring rolls and Pho-Bo still retain their titles as the very best in all of Frankfurt! The big surprise today was their world's best Com Heo Quay mit Schweinekrustenbraten. A San Francisco GIANT fan of Chinese roasted Char Siu Pork, their Vietnamese version was over-the-top crunchy, tender and authentically perfect. Served with fluffy and savory Jasmine rice topped with ultra fresh veggies, commencing next Friday December 22, my wife Christine and I will always order and share the Pho-Bo and Schweinekrustenbraten. TODAY'S DECEMBER 18th's ENCORE: Not wanting to wait until Friday the 22nd, we again ate lunch today at our overall favorite Stadtmitte restaurant ~ An-Frankfurt. Our Summer rolls were outstanding, but the king-maker was the exquisite accompanying peanut sauce; so, so delicious that we will ask to buy 250ml next time. Today's big surprise was when Ray ~ the COO, stated that An-Frankfurt owns the modernly elegant space across the shopping corridor, for their guests dining pleasure. It will become our home away from home. 3 times in a row, An-Frankfurt and Ray deserve our ******* SALUTE!!!

I got the bún bò huế. It was everything I wanted in the cold Frankfurt winter. The broth was warm with a small kick from the spice. Very delicious and aromatic.

The food was good and the taste was probably authentic. The restaurant isn't very cozy. The prices are very high for what you get; plus it's self-service.

Esse dort gerne ein Banh Mi. Was mich persönlich stört: Da die Küche offen ist, sieht man das Personal wie sie arbeiten, was schön und gut ist. Aber man sieht auch deren Unstimmigkeiten oder Diskussionen. Ziemlich unangenehm für den Kunden, vor allem wenn der Kunde auch Vietnamesisch kann. Professionell bleiben und die nicht vietnamesischen Mitarbeiter human behandeln, dann gäbe es auch die 5-Sterne.

Cibo: Ottimi BanhMi e sembravano ottimi anche gli altri piatti. Servizio: Non al tavolo, con Sveglia per il ritiro del piatto pronto, ma rapido. Menù molto chiaro anche senza capire la lingua. Ambiente: Pochi posti all'interno e un altro pò' all'esterno su passaggio pubblico ma al coperto, ci siamo trovati bene.

Das Essen schmeckt gut, die Leute dort sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend (man wird oft während des Essens gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei). Die Wahl zwischen drinnen oder draußen sitzen fällt uns immer leicht. Drinnen ist es warm, draußen bekommt man frische Luft. Wir kommen immer gerne hierher.

Das beste was man auf der Zeil essen kann ! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Bei der selbstgemachte Limonade schmeckt man wirklich das sie selbst gemacht wurde - Wilder Pfirsich ist eine ungewöhnliche Geschmacksrichtung aber sehr empfehlenswert. Man darf sich auch wirklich trauen den Schweinekrustenbraten zu bestellen - es lohnt sich. Soßen stehen jederzeit zum würzen nach eigen Präferenzen bereit Freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch

Das Restaurant "An" macht einen sehr guten Eindruck und falls es noch keine Systemgastronomie ist, hat der Gründer auf jeden Fall alles sehr gut durchdacht und möglicherweise darauf ausgelegt. An dem ein oder anderen Punkt hat das Konzept vielleicht noch ein paar Kinderkrankheiten, wie z.B. Ausfall der Monitor mit den Speisekarten oder das Ausrufen der Bestell-Nummern, die beim Betrieb wahrscheinlich gut und gerne auch mal untergehen. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren allesamt aber außerordentlich freundlich. Das vietnamische Brötchen/Baguette "Banh" mit Schweine-Krustenbraten (5,50 €) war sehr lecker, aber für den Preis auch recht klein. Die Reisnudeln mit Tofu (8,50 €) sind bei meiner Liebsten zwar nicht ganz so gut angekommen, mir hat das Gericht allerdings gemundet. Die Maracuja-Schorle (3,90 €) war lecker, aber auch sehr hochpreisig.

Frische, gesunde und gute Zutaten und leckere Optionen. Leider gibt es nicht so viele Optionen für Vegetarier oder Gerichte mit Meeresfrüchte. Mein Favorit (Garnelen-Frühlingsrollen mit Nudeln) wird hier leider nicht mehr serviert. Ist eine schönere Alternative zu dem gegenüberliegenden Vietnamesen, der gefühlt immer überfüllt ist. Bei schönem Wetter lohnt es sich umso mehr, hier zu speisen.

Better than expected. I think the VN food here is better than a lot of VN restaurants in Germany. And I think it's the best in Frankfurt.

Delicious Phô, fast service, good size portions at a good price. A bit hidden, but worth going out of your way for. Phô with beef was very good. The rice noodles were also tasty. The menu is somewhat small but be sure you'll find something and it will be tasty. Definitely coming back soon.

I learned that it’s common to have German only menu here so, I won’t demand what’s unavailable in the place I travel, I just… adapt. I tried the neighbouring Vietnamese resto but I must say, this one is way up there. Food was served fast, portion is just right and overall more flavourful and delicious. I had the rice noodle with pork belly, pork was so crispy and juicy and the pickles on noodles were fresh. Lovely combination. It’s self service, and yes, place wise maybe not ideal to eat on the alley but hey, best Asian food is usually found in these kind of setting! Would totally recommend!
