Very good dishes, I’m not used to vegan food and I gotta admit I enjoyed it!

Probably the best restaurant in all of Germany!!! Very friendly, and you feel very comfortable in the restaurant, as it's beautifully decorated (great paintings, lovely decor in general!). But it's mainly the food that we dream about every day. If Ong Tao were next door to my house, I'd be penniless. Even just for a quick appetizer, Ong Tao is worth going to – we loved the spring rolls, summer rolls, and soup! There are also two parks next door, one with a chess court (the Garden of Heavenly Peace). All in all, a fantastic experience!

The service was extremely unfriendly from the moment we walked in. When dessert was brought half an hour before closing time, the music was turned off, most of the lights were turned off, and we were urged to leave. Feeling welcome and enjoying a relaxing evening doesn't look like much better. There are much better alternatives in Frankfurt.

The service is brusque and unfriendly. Upon entering at 8:30 p.m., you are immediately informed that the restaurant closes at 10:00 p.m. Dessert was therefore ordered at 9:20 p.m. and brought to the table around 9:30 p.m. Ordering a coffee was no longer possible at 9:20 p.m. because the coffee machine had already been cleaned, even though the restaurant was still busy at that time. Immediately after dessert was served, the music was turned off and the chairs were moved upstairs. You feel very unwelcome.

The food is super delicious - I had the summer rolls and the vegan duck. Service is friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating - the ambiance is a matter of taste, something different.

Phenomenal food — everything we’ve had on the menu has been super flavorful, cooked to perfection, and well portioned. More than just your average Vietnamese restaurant. they are serving so many unique Vietnamese dishes that you don’t normally find in the west. Unfortunately, the food is nothing special. The vegan chicken tasted very cheap, and they also skimped on the spices. Overall, it was okay, but not outstanding. The service was very friendly.

Great restaurant, authentic Vietnamese cuisine, even for me as a non-vegan/vegetarian, it's a nice change of pace. If you simply want to consume less meat, Ong Tao is the perfect restaurant because the dishes are anything but bland, as is often the case with many vegetarian/vegan dishes.

It's simply wonderful to be able to mindlessly browse a menu full of fantastic dishes – because everything is vegan. The vegan duck and the vegan chicken in mango curry were both fantastic. The starter was also incredibly delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere, interior decor, and service was really nice and cozy. We got vegan Sushi which was really tasty, however they were rolled a bit loosely, so they fell apart easily when picked up. Other than that it was amazing overall, 10/10 can recommend.

I was there for the first time today and found it pretty average; considering the price of my meal, it really doesn't deserve more than 3 stars. The atmosphere is pleasant enough, especially the chairs and tables outside, which are more like a snack bar. I had udon noodles with a vegan deep-fried tempura shrimp imitation. The portion was a reasonable size; I could have handled more. According to the menu, the noodles were supposed to be fried, but I didn't notice much of it. I didn't really like the oily taste of the tempura coating, so for €17.50, it really wasn't outstanding. I also found the drink prices quite high; you can pay almost €8 for a bottle of water, but you don't have to, and I wouldn't consider the restaurant again. There are definitely better alternatives in Frankfurt.

Great place with impeccable cuisine! The food here is really worth the money - the vegan crispy duck is simply delicious and the sushi variations are impressive. The gin and tonic is masterfully prepared. The cozy atmosphere makes this place perfect for a romantic date. Definitely recommend!

I had a really delicious dish, but it varied for my friends. I think preferences will differ across the items on the menu. Overall they do a great job. The restaurant is pretty large and I felt it was quite loud and humid.

A very good vegan Vietnamese restaurant. The food is highly recommended and almost identical to the non-vegan version. The service was excellent; we got a table without a reservation and our food arrived very quickly after ordering. The homemade lemonades are also highly recommended.

Amazing food! Each dish is unique in its own way and perfectly seasoned - the taste is rich and bright. I was especially pleased with the crispy and aromatic tofu, cooked with love. Everything in this branch is really tastier than in the usual "traditional" cuisine - you can feel the attention to detail and the desire to surprise. Great vegan restaurant in Frankfurt. All dishes are vegan and offers vegetarians and vegans an alternative to all chicken and duck dishes. I had the mango curry with vegan duck, which I think is very close to the taste of real duck (as far as I remember after all these years). You can sit inside and outside. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is extremely friendly, helpful and quick. I can only recommend this restaurant!

The restaurant has a very nice Vietnamese atmosphere and the dishes are simply delicious and there is a lot to choose from, sometimes I really had difficulty deciding haha. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Who If you want to eat good Asian and vegan food, you're definitely in good hands here. The dishes are very varied, from vegan shrimp to vegan duck, and sushi is also offered. I always enjoy coming here👌

We ordered dumplings, soup and summer rolls. The dumplings and the sauce were very tasty, even if they were rather lukewarm, the soup was passable, but the summer rolls were just wrong, poorly rolled and basically only tasted like iceberg lettuce. For this reason, I would definitely not recommend them

I have always loved coming and having delicious and authentic Vietnamese food here. However, for the past few times, my online orders have always been messed up. I got a pho with bun noodles instead of bun bo hue. And since I am Asian having lived in Vietnam, I know the difference between a pho soup and Bun Bo Hue. Hence the reduction in stars. I personally have always enjoyed dining in here and I hope they manage to get their delivery orders sorted out.

The food is simply good in every respect and worth the price. The vegan crispy duck was awesome and the vegan sushi is also very delicious. The gin and tonic was well mixed. The ambience is very nice. Can definitely be recommended as a date location. The store was very busy at around 7pm on weekdays. It is therefore advisable to make reservations on weekends 😉

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food, especially for vegans. Cocktails and wine are rather mediocre. Too few service staff for the many tables, therefore longer waiting times. It ends promptly at 10 p.m. - you can't stay any longer.

The first thing you notice is the volume in the restaurant. Menus are only available via cell phone. Very practical for everyone who prefers to spend time with their cell phone anyway. The prices for the food are moderate, but for drinks they are certainly at the upper end. It won't be a happy, wet evening. The food is very good, both starters and main courses. It tastes fresh and crunchy. It can also be well seasoned. A selection of dishes that are certainly not available everywhere. The food comes quickly, but whether someone has already finished their starter is irrelevant to the service. It's busy, reservations are recommended. The waiter was very attentive, the ladies at the table even thought he was cute.

This place is 10/10. It feels like you're in another world when you sit down in the slightly hidden dining area at the back of the establishment. Our waitress Tom was extremely friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere feels very familiar. As a drink I can recommend the Gin Driver and as a non-alcoholic alternative the strawberry basil smash mocktail. I can recommend number 33 for eating :) Chicken comes across like real chicken. And the toilet also invites you to stay for a long time. kiss

The food at Ong Tao has always been very tasty, but on our last (attempted) visit we had a very frustrating experience with the restaurant. We had reserved a table online for Saturday lunchtime at 1 p.m., which was also confirmed by the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told in a very unfriendly and accusatory manner that the restaurant was only open until 2 p.m. and that we should kindly compare the reservation with the restaurant's opening times. We then left the restaurant and ate somewhere else because there wasn't enough time for lunch. I don't think this is very customer-oriented and would strongly recommend not offering such reservation times or even confirming them - and not blaming the customers for it.

This is an incredibly cool restaurant. Vegan at its finest, everything great, great ambience, first class service.

The number of stars for this restaurant should therefore be viewed with some caution. My old rating has been reactivated. Important: I'm not reviewing the food here, but rather the company.

I've never gone to a vegan restaurant and I have to say this food was amazing. Our host was very easy to get along with and he knew the menu really well! The atmosphere in the restaurant made me feel like there was a beach just outside as well. The presentation of all the dishes were beautifully put which impressed my friends and I. Unfortunately I can't really recommend the restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and the employees were attentive. As a non-vegan, I didn't like the food at all. For example, people tried to imitate sushi. But that didn't work at all. Not successful in terms of taste or texture.

This Vietnamese restaurant is fully vegan. I had a craving for sushi, so I came there to try them out. They offer few different sets of them. This is sushi box #1. I stayed happy, they were quite okay. The place if very stylish and apparently very popular, cause on my way out I saw a long queue of people waiting for a free table, as the venue was totally packed

Tastes like Vietnam, without the meat there (which is often not so tasty for us Europeans). Ingredients such as coriander or mint are served separately, which you can then add or leave out depending on your taste - very well thought out 👍 A soup + a green tea costs €18.

Super delicious food at fair prices. Without a reservation you won't get a seat. The service had a bit of trouble keeping up. But they were really nice and gave everything. Here we would simply need 1-2 more people so that the service can return to a proactive role. We were definitely not there for the last time.
