Bun Bo in Frankfurt am Main

Leider war das Essen leblos angerichtet und war zum Teil verbrannt. Der gebratene Reis mit Hähnchen hat nach nichts geschmeckt! Die Reiskörner waren hart man konnte es beim kauen deutlich spüren. Es gab außerdem große Reis-Klumpen Trotzdem danke für den guten Service

Super Laden! Der Service ist überragend - sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist immer frisch, keine lange Wartezeiten - auch Mittags eine absolute Empfehlung.

Das Essen war gut und die Bedienung aufmerksam. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Bestellungen unter 20 € können nicht mit Karte bezahlt werden. Ich hatte Entennudeln, die sehr lecker waren. Um die 20-€-Grenze zu überschreiten, bestellte ich zusätzlich frittiertes Eis, das meine Erwartungen jedoch nicht ganz erfüllte und mir nicht so gut schmeckte. Da ich es aber zum ersten Mal probiert habe, kann ich keinen Vergleich anstellen. Es ist ein Restaurant, in das man gut für ein Hauptgericht gehen kann.

Das Gesamterlebnis hat gestimmt. Die Pho's waren lecker könnten aber etwas würziger sein. Der Papayasalt war solide. Die selbstgemachten Tee's waren spitze. Der Service war wirklich sehr gut und aufmerksam.

Ein schönes Restaurant! Erinnert mich an Hanoi, nur dass die Stühle dort niedriger sind und näher an der Straße stehen. Ich hatte Papayasalat, Frühlingsrollen (mit Schweinefleisch) und vietnamesischen Kaffee. Ich musste den Tarik selbst machen (ich bin halb Malaysierin) 😬 Dadurch habe ich Asien richtig vermisst. :)

Sehr leckeres, preiswertes Essen!

Von außen wirkt das Bun Bo eher unspektakulär. Aber das Essen schmeckt köstlich und die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bei gutem Wetter kann man sogar draußen sitzen, wobei der Straßenverkehr etwas störend sein könnte. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Osthafenplatz ist wenige Meter entfernt.

Ich komme aus Vietnam. Dieses Bun Bo war das authentischste, das ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe. Das Getränk war nicht so toll, aber das Essen hat das wieder wettgemacht.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hier hervorragend. Familienbetrieb, freundliches Personal, exzellente, authentische Küche. Kommen Sie vorbei und lassen Sie es sich gut gehen!

Das schmackhafteste vietnamesische Essen in Frankfurt. Der Koch stammt aus einer Region Vietnams, die näher an Malaysia liegt, und das merkt man. Schärfer als typisch vietnamesisch, mit mehr Wok-Spezialitäten. Freundlicher Service obendrein.

Unglaublich leckeres Bun Bo Hue! Schon beim Servieren der Schüssel strömte mir der Duft von frischen Kräutern, Zitronengras und Chili entgegen. Die Brühe war außergewöhnlich – reichhaltig, aromatisch und voller authentischem Geschmack. Als Vietnamesisch-Amerikanerin kann ich mit voller Überzeugung sagen, dass es absolut authentisch geschmeckt hat. Wer in Frankfurt nach echtem Bun Bo Hue sucht, ist bei Bun Bo genau richtig. Nirgendwo in Frankfurt findet man eine bessere Schüssel. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Lasst euch von der spartanischen Einrichtung nicht täuschen: die Qualität des angebotenen Essens ist herausragend gut. Sehr schnelle und nette Bedienung! WAN-Tan-Suppe und die Sommerrollen waren sehr leckere Vorspeisen, die Pho-Bo war riesig und frisch und die Krönung war die Nummer 18 Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong: ausgewogene Süße mit der salzig, frischen Fischsauce, elastische Reisnudeln, frisches Gemüse sowie Thaibasilikum und ein mariniertes Schweinefleisch dazu: zum Niederknien.

The beef pho tastes quite good, with a flavorful broth, though the portion of beef slices is rather small. The staff is friendly, but card payments are only accepted for bills over 20 euros.

The food was good. I had the Pho Bo, and it was really great. The mango mint lemonade, on the other hand, was quite bland. The dinner is worth a visit. It was also part of the Vietnamese specialties section of the menu, so I would recommend ordering from that section.

Amazing bowls of Bún Bò Huế near central Frankfurt 🫶🍲🍜 Tried the Bún Bò Huế here and wow… this one really delivers. The broth has that deep beefy flavor you expect, but the lemongrass and chili give it a kick that keeps you going back for another spoonful. The noodles are springy and soak up the broth perfectly, and the beef is tender with just the right amount of richness. Add in the fresh herbs on top, and every bite feels balanced and full of flavor. Honestly, if you’re looking for something a little more bold than Phở, this is the bowl to go for. Comforting, spicy, and seriously addictive.

The food was delicious, but before ordering, I couldn't see the two small signs indicating that there's a €20 minimum spend for card payments. I think it would be better as a service to inform customers of this before ordering. Other restaurants can do this, even if it's not required by law! I think it's fairer to the customer. Unfortunately, the staff have zero understanding and are unable to accommodate: "We have too many customers for that!" If you go out to eat for €16 like I did, they'll round up to €20. That means you have to order something quickly or not... So, unfortunately, I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth and annoyance that I didn't notice the two small, approximately 20x20 cm signs.

Such delicious authentic Vietnamese food. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are and how the spices and flavours combine perfectly. The rice paper rolls are so fresh and tasty and the noodle soup has a delicious “kick of spice”. Try some of their home made chilli sauce in your soup. Oh and fresh watermelon juice is summer is soooooo good! Highly recommended

Bun bo and banh xeo are very good but the portions are quite small. But banh xeo is bit too expensive.

The hygiene is excellent. As a former restaurateur, I sometimes get a glimpse behind the scenes, and it's amazing how clean it is here.

We were only in Frankfurt for one night and spontaneously stopped in for dinner after a stroll. We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The food was fantastic, and the prices for each dish were absolutely reasonable. We didn't have to wait long for our order, even though there were several other guests there and several dishes were being picked up in the meantime. The service was extremely friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend it!

I usually judge in an objective way. I went here on May 8th local time 645 pm. I usually love Pho, but for some reason ordered fried rice with fried chicken and a coke. Fried rice was tasteless to my pallet, maybe others may like it. I somehow finished it. Stuff was helpful though. Sadly I wasn’t carrying cash, therefore they charged me 20 euros against my bill of 15 euros. They tried to compensate for the same with an iced tea, which I carried back. Food taste was the primary reason for my rating. They should consider taking card payments for below 20 euros as well.

This is a small and cosy Vietnamese restaurant. Their signature dish, Bun Bo Hue, features an excellent soup which I found to be very flavorful. As someone who has eaten Bun Bo Hue in Vietnam, I would say this version is notably delicious. The service was friendly, and the prices appeared reasonable. I am interested in trying other dishes from their menu in the future.

Just had dinner here. Just great! And the staff too. Second time in Frankfurt and really wanted to go here. Prices are completely ok.. Not just the spring rolls, but actually all the dishes are a poem. According to other customers.

I don't know if he's there every day, but the nice young man who welcomed me was super nice! And for the fact that I only had noodles with chicken, the taste was really amazing (my opinion) and for the noodles the price/performance is great... I paid €10.20 for a portion where you get 2 with every other one, so the price is right

Was good tasting, service was friendly but they were very busy. A popular place for lunch. Cash only. Took a bit of time to come and was a little pricy for what should be basic simple fast meal. But then this is Frankfurt city Germany not an Asian stall.

I get something to eat here every now and then during my lunch break. I usually order the same thing. Vegetarian noodle soup or vegetarian fried noodles. It's always super fresh and delicious and the employees are all super nice.

Delicious Vietnamese food - service deserves a full 5 stars. The waitresses were so friendly, we immediately felt at home. Food was served very quickly and tasted good. The sauce on the summer rolls was really delicious!! The price is also absolutely fair.

It tastes good, it's quick and the service is very friendly. However, when I go to the toilet and see the caked-on dirt, I quickly think of something else so as not to draw conclusions about the kitchen.

Bun Bo Hue, Pho and grilled meat rice, temporarily for Westerners, but for Vietnamese gourmets, it is difficult to give 1 star. Seating space inside is about 12 people. It's OK to sit outside in the summer. Attention shop only accepts cash and does not swipe cards. This is the minus point of the restaurant.

I have eaten Bun Bo in many restaurants and in many countries. I like it best here. I regularly meet groups of Vietnamese here who are only here for Bun Bo. Kitchen is extremely clean. Nice people.

We got take away and the food was delicious! Generous portions and flavorful, although we added some extra spice to some dishes (extra free spicy sauces were added, so you can adjust as you like). We got the vegetarian fried rice noodles with tofu, the rice and chicken, and curry. The summer rolls and vegetarian spring rolls were also a nice snack. The homemade ice tea is a recommendation as it was very refreshing. Affordable place. Cash only!

You can order plates on demand, they will of course adapt it to the ingredients they have. The taste was delicious and also they serve pretty good portions.
