A lovingly and tastefully decorated restaurant, where the owner herself has put her hand in it 👍🫶 You receive a very friendly welcome. The owner is extremely friendly, the food is very freshly prepared, and the seasoning is delicious. The French fries are hand-carved; my husband said they were the best liver he'd ever eaten in his life! My gyro was excellent, and the tzatziki was also homemade! The portions were generous; because it was so delicious, I still managed to eat it, even though my gyro was actually a children's plate, which was fine. The owner said it's just a girl's plate now 😅 The restaurant has been in Travemünde for four years now and is highly recommended; it would be a good idea to make a reservation there in the evenings after 6 p.m.! 15 out of 10 stars ⭐

We went to a Greek restaurant today to celebrate my husband's birthday – and it was absolutely perfect! 🎉 The entire team was incredibly warm and attentive. We received a friendly welcome upon arrival and excellent service throughout the evening. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, hot, and prepared with love. As a special surprise, they even offered us a free ouzo and a bottle of red wine for our birthday – we thought that was really thoughtful and generous! 🍷 You can tell that hospitality is a top priority here. We felt truly at home, and as with every visit to Travemünde – we will be back again and again! Highly recommended! 💙🇬🇷

Hey. We were walking through the old town of Travemünde in windy weather and were hungry. This little Greek taverna was just the right place for us. When we entered, there were already quite a few customers; it turned out to be a group of over 30 locals who had something to celebrate. We ordered drinks and gyros from the lunch menu. The tavern filled up, we got our drinks, and watched the proceedings with amusement. Then our food arrived. Guys, I've never been served better gyros. The fries were also delicious, and we were both full. Mission accomplished. I'm happy to give 5 stars for the food and for the two who really made a splash. Nevertheless, everyone was satisfied. We were too.

We went there for dinner in the last week of August with two adults and two children. The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive. The child-friendly atmosphere was particularly noteworthy – our little ones felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, the drinks were somewhat overpriced in comparison, which somewhat dampened the overall excellent impression.

Olympos offers excellent food that truly impresses. The dishes are fresh and tasty, perfectly prepared, and varied. The service is friendly and attentive, making the visit a pleasant experience. However, the staff sometimes seems a bit understaffed, which can lead to longer wait times. Despite this minor limitation, Olympos is definitely worth a visit, especially for lovers of Mediterranean cuisine. Highly recommended!

The food is nothing special, I was full. The salad is missing tomatoes, olives and peppers. That's what I expect from the Greeks. Instead, the decoration consisted of canned peas. It's good when you're relaxed...

I have never eaten such a delicious pastitsio. Service is super good, the reception makes you feel very comfortable.

I haven't been so disappointed with food in a long time. The gyro was completely light, as if it had just been cooked. After I complained about it, it was brought back to the kitchen, but then it came back quite quickly without any visible success, unfortunately the fries were now cold... The bifteki tasted entirely of salt. The only edible thing that day was the fries Conclusion we are waiting for a new owner

For us one of the best Greek restaurants we have ever been to. The grill plate for two is highly recommended, but only for those who are very hungry.

A wonderful evening with friends here at Olympos! Very well-kept and pleasant atmosphere, very good and normal-priced Greek cuisine and Greek hospitality! Anthi and Leärtis - unfortunately I don't know if it's spelled correctly - are very nice, competent and in a good mood. You feel very comfortable here, enjoy the food with a glass of wine or beer! We'll be back!

I actually went there, on recommendation! We got a table spontaneously. The waiter was nice, but unfortunately didn't understand everything in German. When he wanted to take the order, there were real problems with communication! Many dishes didn't have some side dishes, which made us very suspicious. By the way, I had observed things around it. Some guests got an Uszo straight away, we only had one brought to the end. In fact, I noticed who was a regular and who was a new guest. My companions didn't notice any of this, I did. It's sad if a difference is made here. We went out to eat and the wishes of my companion were not taken into account, which I found very sad. I probably won't recommend this restaurant as a local!!!

The last time we were here was 3 years ago. Owner has changed. Service was very friendly. The food was good.

We discovered Olympos on vacation. Without a reservation we had to wait for some time. Approximately a little more than three quarters of an hour. From ordering to eating. They put a lot of effort into the guests. Which wasn't exactly easy since the store was full and there were only two employees on site. And as we all know, whoever comes last is punished by life ;) Prices are okay. Starts at around €13 - €15.00 for a classic dish. The food was served fresh. And there was plenty on the plate. Delicious. Small but fine restaurant. Next time... we'd better make a reservation. Recommended. Thanks.

If I could I would give it more than 5 stars! We asked for a table pretty spontaneously and got one straight away even though it was very full. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. The drinks and food came quickly and I ate the best gyro of my life! The other family members were also happy with their dishes and found it very tasty. I would definitely recommend everyone to eat there. Always worth a visit!

Looking for a Greek in Travemünde, probably found the best. Rarely eaten so well at a Greek restaurant. The meat perfect. The chef knows something about his work. The service was super nice. This little dessert as a “greeting from the kitchen”, totally delicious. We'll be back. 😇

The food was pretty good. The fries and and gyros were a little greasy but still tasty. It took a bit to order but it was also pretty busy so I understand and we were in no rush…just hungry.

We visited this Greek man on Sunday last week and we were pleasantly surprised by the Greek hospitality! 🥰 Food was a dream just like I imagine a Greek restaurant to be, food 1a, prices 1a and not overpriced, then there was an ouzo on the house and even a scoop of Greek yogurt. Wow 😳 I've never had anything like that and thank you for that. ☺️ Overall, the Greek is an absolute recommendation, great! 👍🏼

Four of us spontaneously went there because we didn't want to sit in the front row (promenade). We were greeted very nicely. The restaurant was well filled. The menu surprised us positively. Finally, dishes that can't be found in every restaurant. The food was very good, the portions are not as excessive as usual. There was also a super delicious dessert on the house. We will definitely go again on our vacation.

Very cute and nicely decorated restaurant, we went there spontaneously without a reservation and the friendly service found a place for us. The food was VERY, VERY 😋 Octopus was a dream, the skewers were very tender, and also the giant Bifteki Top.... what was particularly great was that there was a good portion of tzatziki with the dishes, and for dessert there was the Greek yogurt on the house with honey.... Highly recommended!

Were here for the first time 15 years ago, yesterday when we arrived in the old town after such a long time we were able to remember and immediately found it again, unique cuisine, uncomplicated (gluten-free food), friendly staff, wonderful ambience with Greek music and also In other words, a restaurant that makes you feel good
