Great service, super kid-friendly, and you don't have to wait long for your food... no matter how busy it is. We always receive a very warm welcome. Sometimes there's even a free dessert, can you believe that? ♥️ The food has been consistently delicious for decades 😋

Very friendly service and delicious food. I had gyros with tzatziki, my husband had beefsteak—both very tasty! We'll definitely be back! Today we had another delicious meal. Gyros special, topped with lots of cheese—so delicious! And I can only praise the service for their attentiveness and the friendly way they asked if everything was alright. We'll definitely be back!

A great restaurant, but you absolutely need a reservation. Although it's spread across several small rooms, it's very noisy. The decor, from floor to ceiling, is absolutely beautiful. The food is very good. The staff don't show any signs of stress; they are friendly, attentive, and quick.

Although we live in Bavaria, we deliberately made the trip to Landau for my husband's anniversary – and, as always, we didn't regret it for a second. At Olimpia, every detail is simply perfect: ambiance, service, and cuisine – all of the highest quality. A huge thank you for this unforgettable evening!

The food is of excellent quality! However, the service sometimes leaves something to be desired, depending on the waiter. With certain waiters, the service isn't always flawless. The ambiance is the epitome of a Greek restaurant. It's a shame the restrooms aren't wheelchair accessible. Everything else is fine; I'd happily go there again.

Good food, friendly staff, what more could you want?! The decor is tasteful and not overly elaborate. Parking is about 5 minutes away.

A busy Greek restaurant with an extensive menu. The overall ambiance is a bit dated and worn, the food is served quickly, and they're happy to accommodate special requests. The food was okay overall, but nothing more. Unfortunately, it looks a bit mass-produced and not very lovingly prepared. The service is pleasant... The "worst" part, however, was that the ouzo was warm.

Picked up a bifteki with fries and salad today. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Even the phone order was taken very friendly and it was ready for pickup at short notice. Everywhere is expensive these days, but at Olympia you get value for money. Really large portion of fries. Very good, even a large bifteki! Certainly fresh and very tasty. Salad was also large, with a variety, as it should be. Beans and coleslaw and various leaf salads, with good dressing. The pickup was also very friendly, as it should be. Everything was top-notch and securely packaged. Partly shrink-wrapped and completely in a sturdy paper bag. So it arrived safely at home, and was even still warm. After many disappointments recently, we are very satisfied at Olympia, and the price/performance ratio is impeccable.

The food is okay, but I've had better Greek food. The atmosphere on the street is only so-so, and there were thousands of mosquitoes...

A top Greek restaurant in Landau, where I've been eating for over 30 years. And I've never been disappointed. The quality of the food and drinks is truly excellent. As are the friendly waiters and waitresses. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. The ambiance and warmth make you feel very comfortable there. Be sure to make a reservation on weekends, otherwise there won't be a seat.

About 14 days ago: Simple, solid food. Ouzo was offered, but then never brought. I don't care about it at all, but that's not what you do...

Absolutely nice team, very accommodating!!!

We simply love going to the Olympia and have done so for almost 40 years. Everyone is so welcoming; you feel like family, not just a customer. But the best part is the food. We were all there again yesterday, and we were all thrilled. The city, with its amazing urban planners, is responsible for the lack of parking, but it's not that far away once you've gotten used to the new one-way streets.

Great service. Some of the waiters were running around trying to keep up with the demand. Nevertheless, they stopped when spoken to. Great team, delicious food. I'll go there again! A big thank you to the entire team!

The food was absolutely outstanding – fresh, authentic, and prepared with love. Every dish was a delight, from the appetizers to the dessert. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is noticeably high. A very special compliment goes to the service: Our waiter was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and very attentive without being intrusive. He truly enhanced our evening with his pleasant manner and was always available with recommendations and a smile. Everything is just perfect here – quality, service, and atmosphere. I have rarely felt so comfortable in a restaurant and can only recommend it to everyone. I will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a good, solid Greek restaurant, you will find it here. The salads are really good for an appetizer. There is a large selection of main courses. Gyros Special is one of my favorites. And every now and then there is a small bedside table free of charge. The only thing I didn't have a good experience with was crying. Otherwise, highly recommended and always worth a visit.

0815 Greek I actually find it difficult to understand the enthusiastic reviews here. Dusty atmosphere from the 80s, in the basement (toilets) there is a musty smell of moisture. The toilets themselves could also be in an old sports hall. The food was OK, but nothing more. The mezes starter plate (€16) was boring, the sardines were tough and the rest was relatively tasteless. The pork fillet on my fillet plate (€24) was drowned in hollandaise sauce from the bag. The beef fillet tasted like blood. The fries were soggy and tasted like stale fat. The salad dressing too much and convenience food. The other food was similar. The gyro was good. The service seemed friendly, but it often took a long time, even though the restaurant was almost empty (at lunchtime). Nice: Dessert (doughnuts with vanilla ice cream) comes from the house. Conclusion: not a disaster, but not again. A bit of a waste of money.

After a wonderful concert in the Art Nouveau Festival Hall, I still had an appetite for something Greek to eat. The concert ended at 10:20 p.m. It's about 400 meters / 7 minutes to the Olympia. According to the Internet, the Olympia Restaurant is open until midnight, and according to the sign on the locked entrance door, it is even open until 1:00 a.m. It is not a sign of hospitality to lock the door 1 ½ or 2 ½ hours before the scheduled closing time...😡🤬 Walked back to the festival hall to the parking lot in the rain in vain and hungry😡

No longer what it used to be. Prices were increased and portions were reduced at the same time. As an absolute no-go, card payment was refused and since there weren't two of us eating out during the holidays, you have to be careful that you have enough cash with you. The taste of the food was okay The equipment is patchy and simply outdated.

Cozy atmosphere with nice people. Our food was forgotten but after the second attempt it came. The taste of the gyro was quite good, but the meat was a bit too firm. Therefore one point deducted. Overall, everything tasted as you would expect from a Greek restaurant. We will come again!

We were passing through and Google led us to this place. Although it was quite late and the restaurant was quite full, we were greeted very friendly and got a table. The food came quickly and was extremely tasty. Then came a dessert on the house...very nice Gesture. So we can only report good things and will come back here the next time we are passing through.

We have been enjoying coming to the Olympia for almost 3 years now. A reservation is definitely recommended. Yes, it is often very crowded, the air is stuffy, sometimes it is also loud (especially when groups are seated at long tables), the furnishings are a bit old, there is a lot of decoration, well, that's a matter of taste. What should be emphasized is the warm friendliness of the staff, the quick service, you can notice the effort to make the guest happy. Regarding the food: I am thrilled by the vegetarian starter selection! As well as the range of fish (especially zander) and poultry dishes. Gladly again and again!

We (3 people) spontaneously went here for dinner at Olympia. Short and sweet. Fast service, very friendly and attentive staff, great price/performance ratio, great quality & quantity of our food (bean soup, grilled pepperoni, Mykonos plate, Athens plate, Rhodes plate and dessert honey balls with ice cream). Absolute recommendation for our taste.

We were always happy to come. This time we were very disappointed. We were shopping in Landau and spontaneously decided to go out for dinner. We had just managed to get a table. We were served quickly, drinks and food arrived quickly. Food was good. My son's empty plate remained until the end (probably 40 minutes). Well, the restaurant and outside were very full, but we still found it very rude. We had to say twice that we wanted to pay (we had to wait about 30 minutes). There was no ouzo (which we know) and unfortunately no quark balls that the children were so looking forward to. And then there were little residents in the toilet. The problem is known (spray was available). The seat cushions in the restaurant are long past their good times. Very unfortunate...

Typical Greek - unfortunately nothing special. Food came to the table quickly. Young service staff were sometimes overwhelmed. Interior furnishings are very old and shabby. There was no soap or towels in the ladies' room. There was no more toilet paper in one of the toilets. The only thing I would like to point out positively is the free dessert, which is probably common here. Personally, I don't have to go here anymore.

It was quite busy. We had a place outside. After almost 30 minutes of waiting for service, we were able to order. The food then came quickly. The vegetarian starter platter was ordered with fish and calamares. Vegetarian? The Greek salad consisted mostly of green lettuce. What do green leaf lettuce and corn do in a Greek farmer's salad? For almost €14? Several collectors drove up. One left the engine running. Very unpleasant in a narrow street while eating (When I was asked to turn off the engine, I was called "Ah...ch" and when I drove away I was given the finger. The operators can't do anything for such customers, but they regulate parking and the pick-up traffic is not possible. We live on the street and our driveway is constantly parked.) The retsina was very tasty. The ouzo too. Everything on the appetizer plate was fried. There is a lot of vegetarian selection - unfortunately everything comes from the deep fryer. Very unfortunate. No repeat planned. Not a good recommendation for vegetarians.

It was my first time here and despite the high number of people, I received a very friendly welcome and was well looked after: there was a side salad with an excellent yoghurt dressing and a great stifado (beef fillet pieces in a wonderful red wine sauce), and the boss recommended fried potatoes sprinkled with feta - the salad with gyros (Gyros fried nice and crispy, but not burnt) was also a hit. You can sit outside very nicely and comfortably, the service is incredibly quick and efficient, it has been there for 41 years. We would love to come back Gin!

Been here several times and it's always delicious. For a group of vegetarians, I can only recommend ordering all vegetarian starters once and sharing them on the table. Unfortunately there is only a very small selection of vegetarian main courses, but the starters were enough for us and they were always great. I got a table for 8 late the night before for the next day, unfortunately not outside, but still great :)
