Old Town Hanoi Restaurant in Potsdam - Telefonnummer, Reservierungen, Bewertungen

We rode past Old Town Hanoi on our bikes and spontaneously decided on this sushi restaurant. We were able to choose a table and quickly received a second menu. The service is tried hard. We chose 2x maki and 1x tempura sushi, which were also very tasty, but something was missing from the maki, or we just know it differently... wasabi was unfortunately out of the tube.

Horrible service, the food is not good, a detestable experience due to the treatment of the owner of the restaurant. Not recommended, go to the restaurant next door which is much tastier, the service is great and the price is better.

I waited a very long time for the waiter to take my order. The food was average at best. When paying I consumed 16 euros and gave 20 euros, asking to settle 18 euros. The waiter took my money and never came back! Very disappointing!

Very tasty drinks, finally not so sweet. Unfortunately, the food was very spicy (we ordered MILD Mango Curry, Tom Kha and Bun Bo Nem Bo). I don't know the latter to be spicy and the former shouldn't have been spicy based on the reference.

The one star is for the delivery, which was 15 minutes late. The food is unreasonable for the price (€43). I think you can clearly see the black avocado from the pictures. The rolls are super small and poorly rolled and unappetizing. Every fifth-rate snack bar does this better, customer loyalty looks different. The “store” used to be pretty good, but now it’s definitely something to forget.

The Pho tastes average and the fried noodles are too soft, but the service and environment are pretty good.

Everything is super tasty, large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Nice service, fast food and great value for money.

The ambience is quite good, but the food looks and tastes much better than something you can get in a foam tray to take away and for half the price. You get full, it tastes okay, but you don't get happy.

Delicious and not expensive! The sushi is great. The place itself is in need of renovation.

The place does have vegan options but there are not many vegan main course options to select from. The service was probably the best part about the restaurant. The Lemon grass ice tea was literally water but the homemade lemon juice was still a lot better.

Ordered food and it was delivered. Unpacked, oily food really unappetizing, pasta overcooked, chicken drowned in fat. “Salad” completely rotten. 1/2 liter of peanut sauce for 1 meal - rather inappropriate. Conclusion: NEVER AGAIN OLD TOWN HANOI, promise.

The food here was very good. A few days ago I was here with a friend. I ordered from the special menu. I have rarely eaten such good sushi. Really recommended. We came without a reservation and still got a seat. When we left, however, the crowds were higher. Then we started queuing and waiting for the next table to become available. The food was brought quickly. So there were no long waiting times. The ambience was also very nice. Gladly again

Terribly managed restaurant! - Only one waitress and one cook Taking all the orders, and our drinks and food took 20min to arrive. - The waitress forgot 2 things from our order - Very small portions of pretty bad food (Sushi fish did not taste fresh and avocado wasnt ripe at all) - Heaters were way too hot so we moved to another table, and were met by cold AC (IN THE WINTER) - Lime juice tasted like water with some sugar Only saving grace was the price being somewhat ok

Nice service and solid, well-known Asian cuisine.

The main dishes of the restaurant are really strong and delicious. Their services might have been better, eg. I’d wish to have some napkins, soya sauce ready on the table. The Octopus Nigiris were not a wise choice, they were not fresh and therefore difficult to eat like a gum in the mouth. Chicken sticks were good but were a bit salty. Edamames at the other tables looked amazing. The staff was really kind. There was TV streaming of amateur twitch singers, which was not really passing to the atmosphere, they can completely remove the TV or at least hang to the wall. Was OK for price performance. There are points can be improved.

You can have mediocre food, but this is not Vietnamese cuisine but a shop run by people of Arab origin. Staff rather southern and very unfriendly, only one friendly Vietnamese waitress and the rest of the blackheads behind the counter. Male southern waiter was very unsympathetic and ignorant. Eating took a VERY long time. No invoice, what a shame.

Leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung, schneller Service. Speisekarte sehr anschaulich. Leider war das Curry Gericht nicht scharf, wie erhofft. Auf Nachfrage wurde eine scharfe Soße gereicht.

Netter Service. Gutes Essen und an sich nettes Ambiente ich find bloß wenn man schon dem Gast den Blick in die Küche gewährt das könnte man wenigstens den Kassen Bereich aufräumen.

Eating here was quite an impulsive decision and boy, it didn't disappoint at all. We found the restaurant with ample seating and the host quickly found us a table. We ordered three dishes and two drinks and that filled all our three stomachs and our hearts to full. The dishes packed some amazing flavour as well. The restaurant doesn't accept credit cards so if you are a tourist, it's best to carry cash. Also, the door to the washroom outside the restaurant needs a key. The staff will happily hand it over once you ask them. Hope you get to enjoy their hospitality like we did!

Wir haben einen Tipp bekommen und sind einfach mal hier rein Essen gegangen. Kleines aber Feines Restaurant, sehr nette Bedienung und Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Essenangebot und lecker war es auch. Auch vom Preis her ok. Kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Ein Hauch von Thailand in der Potsdamer Altstadt Das "Old Town Hanoi" ist eine kleines Restaurant in der Potsdamer Altstadt, direkt an der Friedrich Ebert Straße gelegen. Wenn Sie sicher sein möchten, einen Platz zu ergattern, empfehle ich eine Reservierung, da es oft gut besucht ist. Die Speisekarte bietet eine typisch thailändische Auswahl, aber überraschenderweise findet sich auch eine vielfältige Auswahl an Sushi-Rollen. Das Ambiente ist nicht besonders exklusiv, aber dennoch angenehm. Man spürt einen Hauch von Thailand, auch wenn es nicht besonders heimelig ist. Die Gastgeber verdienen besonderes Lob. Sie sind äußerst freundlich und engagiert, was das Erlebnis im "Old Town Hanoi" noch angenehmer macht. Insgesamt bietet das "Old Town Hanoi" eine interessante Mischung aus thailändischer und anderer asiatischer Küche in der Potsdamer Altstadt. Mit freundlichem Service und gemütlichem Ambiente ist es eine solide Wahl.

Immer wieder lecker und schnell. Das Old Town Hanoi ist unser Standard Sushi Mann und lässt uns bei keiner Bestellung im „Stich“. Sushi ist lecker und preiswert. Lieferung geht schnell. Abholung auch möglich. Freundliches und flinkes Personal. Immer wieder .

Wir haben abends Essen bestellt und wollten es geliefert bekommen. Die anberaumte Lieferzeit erhöhte sich nach Absendung der Bestellung um 50 Minuten erhöht. So haben wir es selbst abgeholt. Das Essen war nicht überzeugend. Die Pho hatte außer sojasprossen und minimal Koriander kein weiteres Gemüse. Das Lemon Chicken hatte viel Sojasoße aber keine Spur von Lemongras. Schade! Keine gute Performance!

Cute place, the lady who got my order ready was so nice. This is real Pho not the stir fry kind I got elsewhere. They have sauces too! It was so tasty, I’m grateful I found this place during my stay. 🩵

Appello a tutti gli ITALIANI e NON: ATTENZIONE A QUESTO POSTO. La mia ragazza ha preso una porzione di riso fritto con tofu e io del sushi. Poche ore dopo lei non è stata per niente bene e così è per i due giorni successivi. Credo proprio che ci siano problemi con con il cibo che non sembrava avere un ottimo sapore, con la conservazione degli alimenti o non so cosa. Leggendo altre recensioni ho visto che è successo anche ad altre persone, pertanto EVITATE di andare se non volete avere brutte sorprese in vacanza. INOLTRE non hanno permesso di pagare con la carta, accettano solo contanti e NON rilascino alcuno scontrino, nonostante le nostre richieste.

Wir waren heute spontan hier essen. Hatten uns für Sushi entschieden. Geschmacklich wirklich klasse. Leider etwas zu locker gewickelt, es fiel auseinander. Präsentation war schlicht, Teller hatte Beschädigung. Ambiente ist eher schlicht, Musik hätte für meinen Geschmack leiser sein können.

We spontaneously decided to eat here and I think the food is decent for a quick lunch break as it‘s nothing special but also nothing bad (although for my taste a bit too salty). The dishes are more on a smaller size but considering the lower prices also fine! Plus points for vegan options! All in all worth trying out if you‘re around.

Das Essen ist top, allerdings werden die Portionen immer kleiner aber die Preise bleiben gleich. Wir haben bereits oft über UberEats dort bestellt, doch nach unserer letzten (gestrigen) Bestellung war es für uns das Letzte Mal. Ein Salat mit knuspriger Hähnchenbrust kostet ca 9 Euro und die Portion war ein Witz. 4 Salatblätter und ein bisschen Hähnchen. Davon ist man nicht annähernd satt geworden. Ebenso einfache Nudelpfanne mit Gemüse (bekommt man woanders bereits für 5 Euro) kostet dort 7,90 Euro und die Portion ist eine Hand voll groß. Leider nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Sehr schade, weil das Essen grundsätzlich vom Geschmack her sehr gut ist.

Toll eingerichtetes Restaurant, top Service und richtig leckeres Essen.

Sommerrollen ohne Geschmack,auch keine Hoisinsosse dazu. Vegetarisches Vegifleisch mit wenig Gemüse und Udonnudeln fad im Geschmack, übriges Essen mit Rucola Salat und Eisbergsalat auf einem Teller angerichtet und sehr kleiner Reisportion. Vielleicht wäre Sushi die bessere Option gewesen?

Was für eine Enttäuschung. Wir mussten nicht nur wirklich lange auf das Essen warten obwohl wenig Gäste dort waren und 4 Mitarbeiter tätig waren. Abgesehen davon, dass ich Essen bekam, was ich nicht bestellt habe, fand ich eine Bedienung (männlich) schroff und unhöflich. Um ehrlich zu sein fühlte ich mich bei ihm wirklich unwohl. Als ich das bei der Bezahlung zu seiner Kollegin sagte, gab sie mir recht und sagte, dass sie ihn auch unsympathisch fand.
