From start to finish it was a very nice evening with many highlights. Both the food and the service were of the finest quality and left nothing to be desired. For us the best restaurant in Darmstadt!

Priced at the upper limit, but very tasty. The DJ on Thursdays is a noble cause. Great idea!

I recently visited the Olbrick fine dining restaurant and would like to share my experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will notice the elegant and upscale atmosphere. The furnishings are stylish and the atmosphere is very appealing thanks to the subtle lighting and elegant decoration. You can immediately tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on exclusive design here. This exclusivity is also reflected in the prices, which are definitely in the upper range. We decided to try both sushi and a burger to test the variety of dishes on offer. We enjoyed the sushi, but unfortunately it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Although the quality of the ingredients was good, the sushi wasn't much different from what you get in other restaurants. I would have liked a little more sophistication and creativity here, especially since the restaurant aims to offer its guests a special culinary experience. However, the burger was particularly disappointing. This was not only very salty, but also quite unspectacular overall. For a restaurant in this price range, I would have expected significantly better quality. The taste of the burger was so strongly influenced by the saltiness that the other flavors were completely lost. This is particularly annoying considering we paid quite a high price for this dish.

The food is simply perfect and tastes incredibly delicious! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately some of them are not sufficiently trained when it comes to the menu. This is really complaining at a high level. Otherwise you can't complain about anything. We always really enjoy coming!!

Great place Actually great, unfortunately we had to wait a bit until the drinks came, but that was okay for me since they unfortunately have a lack of staff. But despite our understanding, we were excused by drinking. Food was super tasty.

Wir haben uns von der Begrüßung bis zur Verabschiedung extrem wohl gefühlt. Gerade in Darmstadt eine herausragende gastronomische Erfahrung. Lockerer und gleichzeitig perfekter Service, köstliches Sushi. Geschmacklich und optisch ein Genuss. Wir freuen uns schon riesig auf das nächste Mal. Es gibt so viele tolle Gerichte auf der Karte.

We were in Olbrick for the first time today. The weather messed up the team's planning a bit, which is why everything took a little longer. Despite the stress, the service was absolutely courteous and very friendly at all times. When we had to wait longer for the ice cream, which the team had forgotten, we got it for free on the house. Honestly, where is that still the case today? Otherwise, the sushi is really tasty, very juicy and the fish tastes wonderfully fresh. The amount of fish was also great, it was definitely not skimpy. We would come back at any time. Many thanks to the whole Olbrick team for the great time!

We went to Olbrick for the first time today, it was PERFECT! The food was outstanding, especially the tenderloin yakitori. We were served and advised very nicely and our requests were addressed immediately. The location has a nice atmosphere, we felt very comfortable. The service was very nice & accommodating, especially the young waitress who served us! We'd love to come back :)

Definitely eat sushi, it's so incredibly delicious!!! The warm main courses, on the other hand, were unfortunately a bit disappointing. But our feedback was at least taken seriously and they wanted to “compensate” us with a dessert on the house. We found that interesting and it doesn't happen everywhere. Staff very friendly. Special ambience, very dignified inside, nice outside too, but unfortunately a bit noisy because it's on the main street (+noisy tram). But if it is and remains our favorite restaurant for sushi, you won't get a better one anywhere in the area (I'm convinced) 👍

Why only 4 stars for the ambience? The outside area is just too close to the street and it shows. Still beautifully designed, cool location, good music and of course delicious food. Service young, dynamic, on the ball. At the end of the evening you go home with a little less money, but with complete satisfaction, it was worth it for us!!!

Great food amazing taste the fish were delicious we pretty much ordered a lot of things. I couldn’t even remember what we ordered, but the stand out was definitely the ceviche and also their sushi are great. The desserts there was I think only three options and we got all three of them and they all taste really really well a little bit on the bigger side so if you wanted to share with somebody then definitely it’s a shareable dessert The service was great. They were attentive, but not to pushy and we sat outside where the weather was great, so it just worked out well it wasn’t too sunny is amazing as well so it’s a walking distance from the hotel that we were staying at so I appreciate that.

Absolutely great location with a relaxed atmosphere, very good food and great service staff. We were at Olbrick on the occasion of my birthday. The atmosphere is relaxed and the ambience is great. The main courses (sushi, steak and pulled beef sandwich) were top. For dessert, the brownie was my highlight. The staff was very attentive and we had a great time chatting and laughing. This was definitely not our last visit. You can park comfortably in the Bürgerparkviertel car park (around the corner).

The restaurant offers the best sushi and first class service. The fresh and varied sushi rolls were a delight, and the attentive and friendly staff made the visit a completely successful experience. Highly recommended! (Feel free to try the other dishes too. I love it here!)

We went to Olbrick for a business lunch with several people and it was fantastic! The service was attentive, the food was on point, the individual cooking levels of the meat were perfectly met, the sushi was particularly tasty and the individual starters and desserts were also great. It was also a wonderful evening thanks to the Olbrick!

Was there on May 7th, 2024 and had a sensational evening. Very attentive service staff, perfectly prepared food and a very nice chef. As self-confessed saddlery guests, we have found a new favorite restaurant. Keep it up and we will definitely visit it more often. Thank you for a great evening

Great! Unbeatable! We would be warmly welcomed after entering the Olbrick. My wife and children would even have their jackets taken away and hung up in the coat rack. Then our waiter showed us to the table, introduced himself and served us very courteously throughout the evening. You should have experienced it yourself! Yesterday we went to Olbrick as a family with three children. First of all, we were very impressed by the whole atmosphere. The jungle blanket, the colors, the atmosphere itself - just great! Even as a young family you don't feel out of place. We were then welcomed very nicely. Anyway, the service was great! Very attentive! And the food also left nothing to be desired! The sushi was fantastic, but the dessert was just as good ☺️

So, finally I was there. The ambience is very nice, it is quite cozy as the light is also very atmospheric. The waitresses are very attentive and discreet, benevolent. The food is very good, whether it's a starter, main course or dessert. Everything is super clean and you have some wonderful encounters in the toilet. Highly priced, yes. But I think if you make a reservation there, you know what you're getting into. You don't have the feeling of being on Frankfurter Straße. Recommended.

Ive been here 3x now and every time their menu’s changed and every time the food has been absolutely exceptional. Ive tried various dishes and honestly they were all bursting with flavor. Love the way the diff dishes come together. Sushi menu, finaaaaally unique combinations and different rolls offered with so much flavor in a local city like Darmstadt. I come from NY and I have to say thanks for existing and bringing good food to sometimes a boring cuisine country 🙏 😅

The service was first class. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was approachable, attentive and understanding. I can only praise the food and the atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

The service was very good! They came by several times and asked if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. The food was excellent. On a Wednesday the restaurant was very busy and there were only a few tables available. It took a while until we received our main course, but everything was still within limits and bearable. Always happy and a definite recommendation!!

Leider war das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht gut. Das Essen war kalt und die Getränkekarte für jemand, der keinen Alkohol trinkt eine Katastrophe. Die Bedienung war zu Anfang sehr nett aber zum Ende nur noch auf Feierabend aus. Schade.

Einzig das Dessert war nicht so überragend wie die übrigen Gänge, nicht schlecht aber eben nicht so eine geschmackliche Überraschung wie der Rest. Komme garantiert wieder. Wir waren zu zweit und hatten einen sehr angenehmen Abend. Wir wurden gleich zu Anfang super nett empfangen und zu unserem Tisch geleitet. Der Aperitif kam direkt nach der Bestellung und die Vorspeise kurz danach so das wir eine kleine Pause vor dem Haupteingang eingelegt hatten, was kein Problem war. Es ging weiter mit dem Hauptgang der wie die Vorspeise vorzüglich war. Abgerundet durch den leckeren Nachtisch. Es wurde mehrmals nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist ohne das es gestört hat. Allen in allen ein gelungener Abend und wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Sind mega gerne im Restaurant Olbrick zum Essen. Service und essen absolut top. Schöne Atmosphäre

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend mit gutem Service und lecker Sushi. Aber einen Sternabzug gibt es, weil uns ein Riesling von der Bedienung zum Sushi empfohlen wurde, der pappsüß war und absolut gar nicht geschmeckt hat. Nach einem kurzen Nippen habe ich das 0,1l Glas für 5,- € zurückgehen lassen. Einen weiteren Sterneabzug gibt es, weil hier jemand den Hals nicht voll gekriegt hat. Wir hatten den 0,1l Wein auch noch auf der Rechnung. Uns wurde trotz der schlechten Empfehlung der Bedienung auf unsere 181,- € Rechnung der Wein tatsächlich angerechnet. Schlechter Stil!

Mein Freund hat dieses Restaurant bei Google entdeckt und für seinen Geburtstag heute ausgewählt. Wir hatten als Vorspeise unter anderem.die Pulpo Roll...die war so lecker, wir hätten sie glatt nochmal bestellt, wenn wir als Hauptgericht nicht schon das Pulled Pork Sandwich und das Tuna Steak bestellt gehabt hätten. Das Essen war insgesamt sehr lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Zum Dessert wurden wir eingeladen, weil es beim Tuna Steak ein Missverständnis gab. Das Dessert mit Mango ist mega, das hätten wir sonst verpasst,denn eigentlich waren wir pappsatt. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sicherlich wieder. Auch die Drinks sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ich hatte den Yuzu Gin cocktail...ein Traum.

Großartiges Restaurant. Hier merkt man an jedem Detail, dass hier ein durchgehendes Konzept verfolgt wird. So hochwertig wie das Interieur wirkt (und sicherlich auch ist), so hochwertig ist auch das Essen. Wer sich für den Stil des Olbrick erwärmen kann, wird auch das Essen mehr als mögen. Die Bedienung war hervorragend, die Weinempfehlung war fast wie ein bisschen Weinkunde. Man ist sehr aufmerksam und scheint ein gutes Gespür zu haben, wann der Gast etwas Betreuung braucht und wann er in Ruhe sein Essen genießen möchte. Die Preise sind hoch angesiedelt, aber wer mehr als reine Nahrungsaufnahme möchte, sondern Wohlfühlen und Genuss, der muss eben auch etwas mehr zahlen als nur die reinen Nahrungsmittel. Ich finde, es ist jeden Euro Wert. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch im Olbrick!

Lage und Ambiente passen. Das Personal war krankheitsbedingt etwas dünn besetzt, dennoch erwarte ich bei einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse einen gewissen Service. Nachschenken der Getränke, den Tische abwischen wenn beim servieren etwas daneben geht etc. Eine Empfehlung der Küche aussprechen oder generell über die Karte informieren ist in dieser Klasse von Restaurants auch nicht unüblich. Zum Essen: Asian Fusion kann sehr gut sein, hier leider nicht. Generell für meinen Geschmack zu stark gesalzen. Portionen waren ausreichend. Das Thunfischsteak zu trocken und zu stark gewürzt. Weine und Aperitife waren ok. Alles ein allem ist viel Luft nach oben. Für Darmstadt ausreichend

Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Auch das Ambiente stimmt. Wir saßen in dem Bereich beim Eingang, dadurch fühlte man sich etwas abseits, andererseits konnte man sich so in Ruhe unterhalten. Die Garderobe war zu klein für alle Jacken, sodass mein Mantel über einen Stuhl an der Bar gehängt wurde. Das fand ich nicht so ideal. Vielleicht kann man für die Winterzeit eine andere Lösung finden.

Unglaublich gutes Essen und sehr aufmerksames Personal. Mir persönlich ist es einen Tick zu dunkel im Raum, aber das kann man locker übersehen, weil einfach alles andere stimmt. Das Mango Sago ist ein Traum!

Sehr anspruchsvoll eingerichtet. Die Stalltung von Decke mit den hängende Glühbirnen ist beeindruckend. Bisschen Hoogwords feeling. Leider Licht, auch wenn ambientenmässig angenehm, zu wenig. Es wahr etwas anstrengend das Menü zu lesen. Vorspeise (Sushi) war perfekt aber zu viel. Beim Hauptspeise (Lachs) war eher mittelmass, Dessert unspektakular. Insgesamt gelungene Abend.

Dem Novemberblues wurde gestern durch ein sehr leckeres Mahl im Olbricks ein Schnippchen geschlagen. Wir konnten zu viert die Vorzüge dieser Location genießen: Freundlicher Service und große Küche haben uns einen wunderbaren Abend bereitet. Essen und Trinken hält eben Leib und Seele vereint.
