Very tasty fish dishes in generous portions! The location at the Pali parking lot on the bypass is a bit noisy, but you can also sit inside.

It would normally be a solid 5, but not offering card payments in 2025 is unacceptable. Everything else was great, though – the food, the friendliness, and the restrooms.

The food here is really delicious. I used to go there regularly until one incident. I asked if I could have half of two dishes for the price of the more expensive one, which was agreed to. When I went to pay, they added a hefty surcharge, and when I asked why, they responded rather rudely that I had received more. Unfortunately, that wasn't what I wanted, and ultimately, for that price, I would have preferred to get both dishes twice, not just more shrimp and squid, but also some of the fried potatoes and salad.

I liked this place very much. I went there for lunch. I didint know that they only accept cash. But no worry they say you go and bring the money later. Very nice guys. The food was delicious. Service was very fast. No alcool only soft drinks.

We went out for dinner spontaneously, and it was a stroke of luck! We had a fish platter for three people, which tasted amazing and had a fantastic selection. The host was very friendly, and the espresso was also excellent. At €22 per person, it was also very good value for money. I'd love to come back!

Best fish restaurant in the area (we're happy to make the 1-hour drive). Always a very warm welcome, the staff is super friendly, spontaneous, and professional. Eating here is like a mini-vacation on the Mediterranean. The ingredients vary and are always fresh. The salad dressing is delicious, and the portions are very generous! The value for money can't be topped, please keep it up!

Es war wieder richtig gut: Bisher habe ich mich ja die Baby-Tintenfische nicht getraut. Aber gegrillt war das richtig gut. Immer wieder gern. Es gibt wohl immer mehr Stammgäste: die werden namentlich angesprochen, und den wird angeboten, ihre Einkäufe kühl zu stellen, während man isst. Wir mögen es hier: gutes Essen zu einem fairen Preis und sehr nette Bedienung.

Four of us dined there on a Saturday evening. It's a very nice, authentic restaurant. We had a reservation and received a very friendly and accommodating welcome. The two of us each had the seafood platter. It included absolutely delicious and tender calamari rings, a breaded fish fillet, fried sardines, grilled shrimp, and fried potato slices. A marinated salad and two dips, one aioli and one with tomato, both very good. The platter was simply fantastic, and we were very full. After the meal, we each even received a free espresso. The service there is truly very friendly and accommodating. With a drink each, the price was unbeatable! We only paid €46. We will definitely eat there again.

Ich mag sowohl Fisch in Backteig gebacken als auch gegrillt. Ein Freund hatte ihn gegrillt und ich gebacken. Der Gegrillte sah einfach so toll aus, dass ich mir am Überlegen war, ihm anzubieten zu tauschen. Dennoch war mein gebackener auch sehr gut. Wie immer ein sehr freundlicher Service. Ich hatte nicht daran gedacht, dass sie gar keine Karten annehmen. Und der Wirt meinte bloß: dann zahlen SIe halt das nächste Mal.

Today I was there for dinner with a friend for the first time and I don't regret having visited the small, tranquil restaurant earlier. Once upon a time, the food was delicious, the portion was generous and the fish was grilled to perfection. The prices were very convincing! We each had grilled salmon and prawns and both dishes only cost €14.90. Absolutely equivalent dishes cost from €20 in the Vivarium or Delfino. The two conditions were absolutely friendly, fast and attentive.

Bisher konnten wir immer sehr spontan kommen. Mittlerweile gibt es nur noch, WENN MAN ÜBERHAUPT GLÜCK HAT, die Katzentische (so mittendrin im Gang). Aber der Fisch und der Service sind unverändert gut. Also unbedingt reservieren, auch zu Zeiten, an denen man gar nicht erwartet, dass jemand noch essen geht. Ich habe mich mal an die Kalamaris-Ringe getraut. Und es waren keine Dichtungsringe, die man sie aus der Tiefkühltruhe vom Supermarkt kennt. Richtig lecker.

Zunächst das Wichtigste: Die zwei Herren, die bedienen sind die Freundlichkeit in Person. Es macht Spaß, zuzusehen, mit welcher Leidenschaft und Aufmerksamkeit sie ihre Gäste bedienen. Kommen wir zum größten Nachteil: das kleine Restaurant. Samstags kurz nach 12 und fast alles schon besetzt. Man merkt, dass es gut sein muss. Viele Senioren, die anscheinend wissen, wo man ein besseres Preis-Leistungs-Angebot bekommt, als bei mancher Fischrestaurant-Kette. Der Fisch: alles angeordnet wie in einer Fischtheke eines Fischhändlers. Man guckt nach dem, was einem ins Auge springt und das bestellt man am Besten. Entweder gegrillt und auch manche Fischsorten gebacken. Der Backteig ist sehr gut, weil er schön aufgeht und man gegenüber dem gegrillten Fisch denkt, dass man doppelt soviel bekommt. Aber dann ist die Luft raus. Kommen wir jetzt zu dem Manko: ich würde mir sehr wünschen, dass man gefragt wird, welche Soße man will. Manche bekommen Remoulade und manche eben die rote Sauce. Mit dem panierten Fisch ist vielleicht Remoulade die bessere Wahl. Die Bratkartoffeln sind nur die TK-Chips, die in der Fritteuse aufgebacken sind. Ich mag sie. Sie sind auch lecker. Nur als Bratkartoffeln würde ich sie nicht bezeichnen. Schade auch: der Salat sieht leider nach Fertigmischung aus. Aber wie gesagt: ich gehe wegen des Fisches dahin und der ist wirklich erstklassig. Deswegen auch die 5*.

A few months ago we had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my 3 year old daughter and the service and food were wonderful! I forgot cash, but that didn't stop the nice gentlemen from serving us food (we came back with the money, of course). We can only recommend it!

We were there after 2 hours on a working day. We ordered fish soup and fried calamari with fried potatoes. The food was very tasty, especially the fried potato slices. The salad was well dressed and with our meal we both had a bowl of olives marinated in herbs and oil. I like the atmosphere in the restaurant, the blue tiles are reminiscent of North Africa or Portugal. After dinner I drank my very first afogado (espresso with vanilla ice cream). I have no comparison: this was a great dessert. We've been to Luis at peak times before and it was too crowded and too loud for us. But this visit was perfect.

We ordered a fish platter for two and a chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream and we really loved the food, but it pains my heart that chilled white wine was not available to combine with the fresh, well prepared fish to make it a perfect birthday dinner. The selection of beverages is mostly sugary drinks, schorles and lemonades, and even the water is bottled. I don't know the reasons behind not serving alcoholic beverages, but a fish needs to swim. We could have spent some 20-30 EUR more on a good Riesling, but we had to go do that elsewhere after the delicious dinner, which is sad, because Luis' seafood has a great ambience remininding one of a seaside bistro, and we would have loved to stay longer.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben vier unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und alle haben frisch, saftig und wirklich sehr lecker geschmeckt. Die Bestellung tätigt man an der Theke und das Essen bekommt man serviert. Nette Kellner und ein muss wenn man leckeren Fisch/Meeresfrüchte in Darmstadt essen möchte. Wärmstens weiter zu empfehlen. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt aufjedenfall. Man bekommt schließlich auch gutes Essen serviert.

Koreans, if you come to Darmstad, please stop by. It's perfect for Korean tastes. I highly recommend it. It costs 39.9 euros for a platter for two. There is no alcohol, and bottled drinks cost 3 euros. I had a platter for 2 people. The fish is soft and juicy and the fried squid is crispy. It's so delicious. The staff is also very friendly. I highly recommend it.
