Ein sehr exzellentes Restaurant Zu bestimmten Anlässen gehen wir dorthin. Meine Freundin ist da Stammkunde. Kann ich sehr empfehlen. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich immer ein Scherz auf dem Lippen. Sehr sauber auch das WC man merkt dort schon die etwas gehobene Klasse. Ich kann es echt empfehlen wen man mal was besonderes essen möchte.

Die Tagliatelle im Parmesanlaib waren leider nicht wie erhofft. Der Parmesan ist nicht geschmolzen, er verband sich nicht mit der Pasta. Lediglich einige Brocken vom Parmesan befanden sich auf dem Teller. Ein intensiver Parmesan-Käsegeschmack entstand somit nicht. Zu den Tagliatelle reichte man eine Trüffelsauce. Noch ein Anmerkung - wenn man Pizza anbietet, dann reicht ein normales Messer mitunter nicht zum Schneiden. Es gibt aber keine anderen Messer, die schärfer sind. Hier sollte man über den Kauf spezieller Pizza-Messer nachdenken. Positiv ist aber, das angeboten wird, die Pizza in der Küche zu zerteilen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Die Kellner waren sehr nett das Essen war reichlich und sehr lecker. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

Angenehmes Ambiente. Normale Preise. Sehr leckeres Essen (wir hatten Pizza+Pasta). Die Pizza war besonders gut! Nicht zu dünn, nicht zu dick, nicht zu trocken. Perfetto! Service auch sehr freundlich. Eventuell ein wenig zu defensiv?

Das Essen war in Ordnung, nicht das beste, das ich je gegessen habe, aber auch nicht schlecht. Die Preise waren allerdings für die Qualität zu hoch. Der Service war wie immer hervorragend und die Atmosphäre auch sehr angenehm.

Die Soßen der Fleischgerichte sind gut abgeschmeckt.

Nun ja, das Chateaubriand war diesmal leider nicht so überzeugend, normalerweise ist es besser. Die Auswahl ist aber trotzdem recht gut! Bei den Bieren gibt es nur die üblichen zwei bis drei Sorten. Beim Wein hingegen gibt es einige gute Optionen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, spricht aber manchmal nur Deutsch.

Waren dort mit einer kleinen Gruppe, das leicht hochpreisige Essen hätte besser gewürzt sein können, einige hat es aber trotzdem geschmeckt. Der Service war nicht gerade freundlich, obwohl das Restaurant nicht sehr voll war. Wir werden dort nicht mehr erscheinen. Charly B. Haben es doch auf allgemeinen Wunsch nochmal versucht dort zu Essen, der Service war freundlicher aber die Speisen waren geschmacklich flach, u. a. die Leber war hart und die Spaghetti nüchtern, trotz allem wir werden es irgendwann wieder versuchen, LG B.

Ich war hier mit einer Gesellschaft Essen (15 Personen). Vorbereitung, Tisch im separaten Raum war sehr gut. Wir haben prima gegessen, aufmerksamer Service und der Prei war für die Qualität absolut O.K. Perlen ging vor dem Restaurant auf dem Mittelstreifen. Ich würde hier wieder hinkommen.

Leider wird man gnadenlos im Gespräch unterbrochen, einem die Rechnung unter die Nase gehalten und hinauskomplimentiert durch extra betontes Handeln. Mein letztes Getränk innerhalb von 5 min runtergekippt. 23.05 Uhr standen wir vor der Tür. Direkt nach uns ging das Licht aus und das Personal schob uns fast noch zur Seite, als sie den Laden verließen. Sehr schade, zumal bei der Preisklasse. Kommunikation ist alles.

Mit meiner Familie gehe ich immer wieder gerne hierher. Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen sind immer reichlich 😂 Auch darf mein Hund immer mit! Der Dessert 🍨 ist liebevoll zubereitet. Im Sommer kann man auch gut draußen sitzen. Das Ambiente mit den vielen alten Fotos von Schauspielern und Sängern regt immer dazu an etwas u täten wenn man kennt 🥰

waren zu einem großen geburtstag da. war relativ leer. hatte pizza - die war an sich gut, aber schlecht gewürzt (alles in der mitte konzentriert). der nachtisch - tiramisu und co - also ganz ehrlich, das war einfach convenience schrott. katastrophe! das restaurant ist so groß aber bietet dann sowas an. absolutes no go, schrecklich. warum sollte ich dann zum italiener gehen?

Das Essen war gut, leider der Service am Ende nicht, d.h. unfreundlich als wir getrennt zahlen wollten. Dann mussten wir den Tisch schnellstens räumen, weil andere Gäste reserviert hatten. Bei meiner telefonischen Reservierung im Oktober wurde mir nicht mitgeteilt, dass es ein Zeitfenster von 2,5 Stunden gibt. Zumal andere Tische unterdessen frei waren. Das war für unsere Gruppe (10 Personen) jedenfalls ein unschönes Ende des Abends.

A dish containing veal was found to be tough and dry. It was not eaten and was not added to the bill.

Beautiful ambiance, friendly and fast service. My Frutti de Mare pizza was large and generously topped. The pasta dishes were plentiful and tasty. The fried veal liver in butter was a delight. I'll be back.

I've been here several times and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, the last visit wasn't so great. The service made us wait forever, and one of the dishes unfortunately contained spoiled ingredients. On the plus side, smoking is no longer permitted on the terrace. Maybe I was just unlucky; the last few visits before that were always good.

We went to Nuovo Mario with our grandma, as she's a regular here – and now I understand why! The ambiance is stylish and cozy, with lovingly set tables and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. The food was excellent: the steak was delicious. I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the menu. The service was attentive and warm, and the children were also happy with the attention...which made the visit particularly enjoyable. Many thanks to the team at Nuovo Mario for the wonderful experience – we'll be back!

I ordered pasta with a truffle sauce and received a cream sauce. It had nothing to do with truffles, let alone tasted like them. After I asked the waiter about it, I was told that it was truffles. The noodles were also limp. After everyone had eaten, I commented again that it was a bad dish and the waiter said he could change it again. Thanks for nothing...so you can definitely save the €18 and I don't need to say anything more about the service. Definitely not a recommendation!

I had a very excellent, tender duck breast with porcini mushrooms in a cream sauce, which was served with grilled vegetables and jacket potatoes. Highly recommended!

Very good, always well-attended Italian restaurant with a high standard! Separate rooms for celebrations. Attentive and friendly staff; only the menu could be changed! As side dishes there are only small potatoes and always monotonous warm vegetables (carrots/aubergine/zucchini/broccoli) - no croquettes, fries, rice!👎👎

The pasta flambéed in parmesan is a real dream. Even though the restaurant was full, we were served quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive. We'd love to come back.

We were here again today and are thrilled as always. We have been coming here regularly for years and have never had any reason to complain. The service is top, even managing to serve food to groups of 20 people at the same time. I had a great rump steak with grilled mushrooms and fresh vegetables (carrots, zucchini, broccoli, peppers, potatoes). My wife had a fish platter with fresh vegetables. Both were excellent. Before that there was a bowl of olives with garlic and two types of bread. Many guests put a few drops of good olive oil on a plate and enjoy the bread with it. Even if it is very crowded, there is no rush. The team has everything fully under control at all times. Reservations are recommended in the evenings. Today, February 28, 2025, we were here again, regularly since 2012, and were thrilled as always. Fish platter and saltimbocca alla romana, perfect. In my opinion, you have to be a notorious complainer or an envious competitor to complain about something here. "Simply the best".

Great food, great service, good value for money

We were at this local with a larger group (approx. 15 people). First of all, it must be said that this is NOT a real Italian restaurant. Ambience: We saw 3 Italian restaurants in the surrounding area and I have to say that the ambience is very similar to the other REAL Italian restaurants. Not a unique selling point in this respect. Service: Here is the biggest problem in my opinion. The service was visibly overwhelmed with taking orders. Drinks were forgotten several times. Unfortunately, the service often left us high and dry. When we pointed this out to the service, all he got was a lying grin and he complained something into his 3-day beard. He always let us feel that when we put a good face on the bad side and tried to improve his mood a little. That shouldn't really be the case and is simply unprofessional. In my opinion, the waiter must periodically inquire about the guests and, if necessary, provide drinks. In the end, you shouldn't be surprised if criticism is expressed from our side. The food: I can only talk about my food. I had a Pizza Diavolo. It was clear here that we weren't in a real Italian restaurant. The pizza wasn't baked through and you couldn't eat it with your hand (which is actually common in Italy). The promised spiciness of the Diavolo pizza was missed and the topping itself was very clear. Unfortunately the taste was just okay. I can make pizza better at home. CONCLUSION: We didn't feel like we had been invited to an Italian family's home. The hospitality was limited to the greeting. Otherwise you felt pretty left alone. I wouldn't go there again just for the food. Unfortunately not recommended.

Well-kept Italian restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere, reasonable prices.

10/10 Food great. Service friendly. Ingredients fresh and high quality. Generous portion. Even an adult would have been satisfied with the children's plate. Child friendly. Prices from 10 years ago. We are happy to come back at any time, even if it costs a few euros more.

We had a lovely day, simply because we really liked everything at Nuovo Mario. The food is highly recommended. Praise also goes to the service. Everything was great!!!

Pasta in a cheese body was prepared very carelessly. To put it briefly. The cheese wasn't heated enough and hardly any cheese was put into the pasta. The black pasta with truffle was really 9/10 as was the prawns. They can really do pasta here, but we'd rather practice pasta in a cheese body. No love, no show.

Food was delicious, unfortunately a bit sober. But everything around was great 😊 I'll definitely come back ☺️

I was disappointed by the somewhat brusque service. We were a small group and certainly didn't appear negative. After the bill, no small drink was offered on the house. Kind of unusual compared to the competition. I don't come here anymore, there are nicer Italian restaurants with good food.

We go to Mario's from time to time and we always enjoy the wonderful ambience and of course the excellent food and the selection of fine drinks. We think it is by far the most beautiful Italian restaurant in the south of the city.

Everything used to be great here. Now 3rd visit in 6 months. Food has worn off, dessert espresso cognac mousse no longer has any taste, just fat. It used to be my favorite dessert! There are new staff there. All the nice waiters are gone. NOTHING is right here anymore, unfortunately.

Unfortunately the reception was rude, our service lady ripped it out! However, the pizza has nothing to do with a stone oven, the taste was bland and the shape suggests that the dough is ready! Still it was ok but I can do that at home too. In general the food looks tasty and there is a lot... but that doesn't say anything about the quality!!!

It is a good Italian restaurant with a good price-performance ratio. The service is courteous and polite. Even if one or the other seemed a little nervous. However, my wife was a little unlucky with her meal because the sauce seemed to have a very high fat content that she couldn't tolerate.

Top address and a very nice ambience, the food is processed in very good quality and extremely well presented. An absolute taste experience for the palate. The best Italian restaurant in the south of Berlin. There is hardly anything comparable and with a good price-performance ratio, an absolute recommendation For my part, other restaurants should follow an example. Quality pays off and brings guests and more sales as well as good references. An honest opinion from me, a gastronomy colleague, keep it up!

Very nice and clean restaurant. Food and drinks are nicely served. The tables are set with white tablecloths and cloth napkins are very rarely used when eating. The prices are reasonable.

Zu später Stunde eingefunden, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam begrüßt. Dann wurde ein anderer Rosé gebracht als der Bestellte und die Vorspeisen wurden ganz vergessen. Die Hauptgerichte schmeckten großartig und mit einem 'Ferrari Rosé Trentodoc' als Begleitung kann eh nix schiefgehen.
