It's not worth it, go to a real Italian restaurant!

My family and I love coming here. The food is delicious and the portions are always generous 😂 My dog ​​is always welcome too! The dessert 🍨 is beautifully prepared. In the summer, you can also sit outside. The ambiance, with all the old photos of actors and singers, always makes you want to do something if you know someone 🥰

We were there for a big birthday party. It was relatively empty. I had pizza – it was good in itself, but badly seasoned (all the seasoning was concentrated in the middle). The dessert – tiramisu and such – well, honestly, it was just convenience food junk. A disaster! The restaurant is so big, yet they offer something like that. Absolutely unacceptable, terrible. Why would I go to an Italian restaurant then?

The food was good, but unfortunately the service at the end was not; it was unfriendly when we wanted to pay separately. Then we had to vacate the table quickly because other guests had made a reservation. When I made the reservation by phone in October, I wasn't informed that there was a 2.5-hour time slot. Especially since other tables had become available in the meantime. In any case, it was an unpleasant end to the evening for our group (10 people).

A dish containing veal was found to be tough and dry. It was not eaten and was not added to the bill.

I really enjoy the food there. The service is friendly.

Beautiful ambiance, friendly and fast service. My Frutti de Mare pizza was large and generously topped. The pasta dishes were plentiful and tasty. The fried veal liver in butter was a delight. I'll be back.

I've been here several times and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, the last visit wasn't so great. The service made us wait forever, and one of the dishes unfortunately contained spoiled ingredients. On the plus side, smoking is no longer permitted on the terrace. Maybe I was just unlucky; the last few visits before that were always good.

We went to Nuovo Mario with our grandma, as she's a regular here – and now I understand why! The ambiance is stylish and cozy, with lovingly set tables and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. The food was excellent: the steak was delicious. I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the menu. The service was attentive and warm, and the children were also happy with the attention...which made the visit particularly enjoyable. Many thanks to the team at Nuovo Mario for the wonderful experience – we'll be back!

I ordered pasta with a truffle sauce and received a cream sauce. It had nothing to do with truffles, let alone tasted like them. After I asked the waiter about it, I was told that it was truffles. The noodles were also limp. After everyone had eaten, I commented again that it was a bad dish and the waiter said he could change it again. Thanks for nothing...so you can definitely save the €18 and I don't need to say anything more about the service. Definitely not a recommendation!

I had a very excellent, tender duck breast with porcini mushrooms in a cream sauce, which was served with grilled vegetables and jacket potatoes. Highly recommended!

Very good, always well-attended Italian restaurant with a high standard! Separate rooms for celebrations. Attentive and friendly staff; only the menu could be changed! As side dishes there are only small potatoes and always monotonous warm vegetables (carrots/aubergine/zucchini/broccoli) - no croquettes, fries, rice!👎👎

We were here again today and are thrilled as always. We have been coming here regularly for years and have never had any reason to complain. The service is top, even managing to serve food to groups of 20 people at the same time. I had a great rump steak with grilled mushrooms and fresh vegetables (carrots, zucchini, broccoli, peppers, potatoes). My wife had a fish platter with fresh vegetables. Both were excellent. Before that there was a bowl of olives with garlic and two types of bread. Many guests put a few drops of good olive oil on a plate and enjoy the bread with it. Even if it is very crowded, there is no rush. The team has everything fully under control at all times. Reservations are recommended in the evenings. Today, February 28, 2025, we were here again, regularly since 2012, and were thrilled as always. Fish platter and saltimbocca alla romana, perfect. In my opinion, you have to be a notorious complainer or an envious competitor to complain about something here. "Simply the best".

Great food, great service, good value for money

We were at this local with a larger group (approx. 15 people). First of all, it must be said that this is NOT a real Italian restaurant. Ambience: We saw 3 Italian restaurants in the surrounding area and I have to say that the ambience is very similar to the other REAL Italian restaurants. Not a unique selling point in this respect. Service: Here is the biggest problem in my opinion. The service was visibly overwhelmed with taking orders. Drinks were forgotten several times. Unfortunately, the service often left us high and dry. When we pointed this out to the service, all he got was a lying grin and he complained something into his 3-day beard. He always let us feel that when we put a good face on the bad side and tried to improve his mood a little. That shouldn't really be the case and is simply unprofessional. In my opinion, the waiter must periodically inquire about the guests and, if necessary, provide drinks. In the end, you shouldn't be surprised if criticism is expressed from our side. The food: I can only talk about my food. I had a Pizza Diavolo. It was clear here that we weren't in a real Italian restaurant. The pizza wasn't baked through and you couldn't eat it with your hand (which is actually common in Italy). The promised spiciness of the Diavolo pizza was missed and the topping itself was very clear. Unfortunately the taste was just okay. I can make pizza better at home. CONCLUSION: We didn't feel like we had been invited to an Italian family's home. The hospitality was limited to the greeting. Otherwise you felt pretty left alone. I wouldn't go there again just for the food. Unfortunately not recommended.

Well-kept Italian restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere, reasonable prices.

10/10 Food great. Service friendly. Ingredients fresh and high quality. Generous portion. Even an adult would have been satisfied with the children's plate. Child friendly. Prices from 10 years ago. We are happy to come back at any time, even if it costs a few euros more.

Pasta in a cheese body was prepared very carelessly. To put it briefly. The cheese wasn't heated enough and hardly any cheese was put into the pasta. The black pasta with truffle was really 9/10 as was the prawns. They can really do pasta here, but we'd rather practice pasta in a cheese body. No love, no show.

Food was delicious, unfortunately a bit sober. But everything around was great 😊 I'll definitely come back ☺️

I was disappointed by the somewhat brusque service. We were a small group and certainly didn't appear negative. After the bill, no small drink was offered on the house. Kind of unusual compared to the competition. I don't come here anymore, there are nicer Italian restaurants with good food.

Everything used to be great here. Now 3rd visit in 6 months. Food has worn off, dessert espresso cognac mousse no longer has any taste, just fat. It used to be my favorite dessert! There are new staff there. All the nice waiters are gone. NOTHING is right here anymore, unfortunately.

Unfortunately the reception was rude, our service lady ripped it out! However, the pizza has nothing to do with a stone oven, the taste was bland and the shape suggests that the dough is ready! Still it was ok but I can do that at home too. In general the food looks tasty and there is a lot... but that doesn't say anything about the quality!!!

Top address and a very nice ambience, the food is processed in very good quality and extremely well presented. An absolute taste experience for the palate. The best Italian restaurant in the south of Berlin. There is hardly anything comparable and with a good price-performance ratio, an absolute recommendation For my part, other restaurants should follow an example. Quality pays off and brings guests and more sales as well as good references. An honest opinion from me, a gastronomy colleague, keep it up!

Very nice and clean restaurant. Food and drinks are nicely served. The tables are set with white tablecloths and cloth napkins are very rarely used when eating. The prices are reasonable.

Zu später Stunde eingefunden, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam begrüßt. Dann wurde ein anderer Rosé gebracht als der Bestellte und die Vorspeisen wurden ganz vergessen. Die Hauptgerichte schmeckten großartig und mit einem 'Ferrari Rosé Trentodoc' als Begleitung kann eh nix schiefgehen.

We had booked a table for my mother's birthday, when we arrived the table was not prepared and one of the waiters very rudely asked to be let through. We were then very rudely offered a table in the passage area to the toilets. After some discussion, they grudgingly agreed to give us another table. It took some time before our order was taken. My girlfriend and I's drinks contained very little carbonation. The Aperol Spritz and my father's non-alcoholic beer were ok. The food was good and served quickly at the table. We had tagliatelle with salmon, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (flambéed at the table - nice show), Vitello Tonato and Pizza Parma. All very tasty. For dessert there was Coniac Creme and Zabaione with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries. The food was able to cover up the bumpy start quite well. All in all: the evening was ok. But there is still room for improvement ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was good. Unfortunately, the tagliatelle were not flambéed at the table as stated on the menu, but two tables away without any notice. Our telephone reservation was not recorded, which shouldn't have been a problem, and we were offered a table in the far corner even though the restaurant was empty. Unfortunately, the female waitress creates a bad atmosphere with her manner and bad mood and ruins the actually very good service.

It was our first time with you...and what should I do or where should I start...ok I'll start with the service...we were served by a young man/attentive, friendly, always a smile...our truffle pasta with fillet tips in Parmesan cheese turned excellent at our table..starter salad very tasty..dessert delicious tiramisu we had to share because the portions are great..wine with the meal which I was able to taste beforehand, very harmonious with the meal..for us it was a nice end to our wedding day ..we will definitely be back..thank you very much 🌷
